In this lecture, Śrīla Prabhupāda discusses the limitations of impersonal and voidist philosophies and explains why meditation without personal conception of the Supreme is ultimately troublesome. Citing verses from the Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, he emphasizes personal realization of Kṛṣṇa as the highest goal of yoga and spiritual inquiry. The lecture explores the nature of the soul, God, material nature, time, and activity, highlighting the difference between temporary material pursuits and eternal spiritual knowledge, and concludes with practical reasoning on overcoming ignorance through surrender to Kṛṣṇa.
