We live in a broken world—fractured by inequality, displacement, and systemic neglect. Yet entrepreneurship is still sold as a race toward limitless profit and unsustainable growth. This economisation erases those building businesses out of necessity, care, and survival. The dominant narrative glorifies corporations while silencing small businesses fronted by migrant, refugee, and informal entrepreneurs who create real, lived social value. Builders of the Broken Bazaar exists to challenge that silence and centre voices from the margins.
