Specialist dental surgeon Richard Porter explains why he thinks there’s no such thing as bad days, especially in the medical world, and how you can understand your subconscious so well that you could score a penalty in a World Cup match.

Richard chose to be a surgeon as a profession from a young age due to his parents both being from a medical background. He went on to specialise in restorative surgery so that he could make a difference to his patient’s lives. He believes in providing both quality service to every patient and also providing a safe space for his patients to feel listened to and understood.
