In this episode, I share my personal experience chasing single-digit body fat and how it led to increased stress, glucose instability, and accelerated aging despite "doing everything right." I've seen patients and clients obsessively tweak diet and exercise, while ignoring the connection between the mind and metabolism. Fasting longer and exercising harder has resulted in many broken bodies and defeated minds in my clinic, and I've personally been down that road as well. This podcast takes a different approach that explores the intersection of metabolic health and mindfulness through science, deep personal exploration, and creative storytelling to provide a more balanced approach to health that will improve energy and well-being.
