In this episode, I talk to Dr Oliver Massmann on the dispute resolution options for investors to Vietnam via the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.

Dr. Oliver Massmann is an International Attorney at Law and a Financial Accountant and Auditor with a Ph.D. Major in International Business Law. He has over 20 years of experience working as a commercial lawyer in Vietnam. He is fluent in Vietnamese at the negotiation and presentation levels.

Oliver practices in the area of corporate international taxation, power/water projects, matters related to oil and gas companies and telecoms, privatization and equitization, mergers and acquisitions, and general commercial matters for multinational clients in relation to investment and doing business in Vietnam. He is the only foreign lawyer to be a Member to the Supervisory Board of PetroVietnam Insurance Corporation, Vietnam's largest industrial insurer.

EU Trade Delegation in Vietnam and European Commission selected Dr. Massmann to be the lead advisor to support the implementation of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement ("EVFTA"), one of the most important free trade agreements for Vietnam.
