All Behaviour is communication. Our children with autism are communicating with us through their behaviours. All behaviours have a function. There are 4 main functions of Behaviour which are Sensory, Escape, Attention and Access to Tangibles. The acronym to remember this is called SEAT.

In this episode, I talk about 5 reasons why your child might be engaging in challenging behaviours and some strategies to help with them.
