Description
What do a development worker, soldier and refugee have in common? They all share the experience of war.
Some are active participants in it, some are impacted by it, while others seek to heal its wounds. Yet rarely are their collective stories heard. This podcast was created as a means of giving these unique voices of war a space to share their insights, so that we may learn from their experiences. Hosted by Vedran ‘Maz’ Maslic, who witnessed the complexities of war first as a refugee from Bosnia and Herzegovina before becoming an officer in the Australian Army and later a development consultant, this podcast is motived by a simple vision—to bring to life the true costs of war, through the voices of those who have lived it.
