Together we are grieving the loss of our founder, Linda Penn. As we mourn, we also hold on to the tremendous peace that she is now with her Savior and Lord. Linda lived and led passionately for Christ, and many were in awe of her resiliency and tenacity to spread the gospel wherever she stepped foot. Whether she was loving her husband and family, using her voice to broadcast hope through the airwaves, or discipling the next generation of leaders, she did it all with the utmost zeal, conviction, and obedience.
As a family of believers, we feel the impact of this tremendous loss. Her presence will be greatly missed, as there will only ever be one Linda Penn who can carry the torch like she did. She was the active hands and feet of Jesus; seeing those around her and calling them up and into their identity as a loved child of God. We know this very week she experienced the ultimate hope of our faith; to meet her Savior face to face. And in that meeting, we know these words ring true; "Well done, good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:23)
Details about her funeral and services will be unfolding soon. Please take a moment to lift up in prayer Linda's husband, Ralph, and their family in this time.
