Hungama Play subscription entitles you to unlimited streaming of hosted content (Note: Movies that carry the “Rent” sticker are NOT available under subscription & can only be rented). The subscription amount will be displayed before you confirm payment and will depend on the subscription duration & your country. On confirmation, the payment will be charged to your iTunes account and the subscription will automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be automatically charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of your subscription period. You can manage your Hungama Play subscription & turn off auto-renewal from your Account Settings anytime. However, no cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.

I rented a movie by paying for 48 hours and that didn’t even reflect in my profile. I left a feedback and still no response. Is this a scam? The rates of renting a movie also changes if you are viewing in firestick app or iOS app. I want my money back.

The system is so poorly designed that I finished half a bottle of wine in disbelief. I open the app through fire stick, tried to rent Joker and was told to go to the app to rent. Fair enough, no foul play so far. I went to the app and rented the movie, it played fine in the app, but when I log in through the fire stick app, there is no purchase or subscription history. So now big question is where did the money go? Poff! No trace!
Tried several times, wasted almost 40 minutes but nope. So writing the review before u installing the app.
BTW since money disappearing was a big issue, forgot to mention that my wife paid twice but somehow managed to rent the movies but the rent expired within a day instead of the two days.
Get a grip guys!

I was very disappointed with the app. Even after paying for the annual subscription, I still have to rent the most popular movies. The content available under the subscription plan is totally outdated.
I would like to warn everyone to not go for the subscription as they don’t provide refund even if you contact them within 5-10 minutes after paying for the subscription.

I am in big trouble,i made hungama play account via google and subscribed 99 rs for month through my paytm . After that i got subscription message from hungama that you are subscribed,they sent me a link and my account details like my login info .when i downloaded the app and logged in .The app is showing that you have not subscribed yet even though i have clicked on restore subscriptions. Be careful guys from this fraud app.i didn’t get any service even after paying money and now I’m worried about future deduction of my money without my permission after every 30 days.lets see. First, I purchased premium subscription still there is no confirmation / activation on my Hungama play account regarding the same (this is pathetic).
Second, I see your business model is ridiculous because you want customers to pay monthly / yearly subscription and thereafter you expect to pay rs 120 for each premium movie. That’s okay as this is your own business thing but what’s wrong is that you have not advertised this catch before or when prompting users to subscribe (this is very pathetic). May be it’s in terms & conditions but who reads this all. You should be transparent to customers.
Third, I have called your customer care today 5 times, each call is lasting till 5 minutes without anyone servicing my call, it gets automatically disconnected after 5 minutes. It happened for all 5 calls wasting my 25 minutes (this is super pathetic).
Run away!!!

This app really knows how to suck out the joy of watching movies. One of the most horribly designed app in the recent times. By the time you purchase the movie in order to watch it you feel so frustrated that you no longer want to watch it. Guys you really need to throw this app out and redesign your app completely. I have purchased Hungama Subscriptions thru Mobile Number. In Smart TV, there is only option to log in with mail I’d. No where is the option to add mail I’d in the app. Tried Registration with mail I’d giving Mobile Number but of no use. With past 48 hours sick and tired of calling the Customer care Number. It will keep you waiting mentioning All executives are busy and you will be attended. After 8-10 times of waiting for more than 10 minutes calls get disconnected. Why the hell you have a customer care Number if no one is on the other side. Purchased subscriptions but it is to waste now. Had given Zero Star if that would have been possible. Absolutely Pathetic.
