This morning when I recharged, I was not given this offer but they gave me another offer which charged Rs 239 for 1 GB/day for 24 days. I have called the customer twice since morning but I am not hearing anything even though I have the offer available on my number for the last 4 days. I was checking and the customer care people say that you have not checked my offer. VI team or company people are requested to please not do anything that will affect the common people, also i attached Screenshot of same offer also available now. I cannot give worse rating than this. I have been a loyal vodafone costumer for 15 years now and due to some consistent network issues, I tried porting to other network. When my other porting was in progress I received a call from vodafone agent to forward the message saying I want to keep this number as it is. I did the same and next moment my porting request got cancelled. I lost 900 Rs. that I had recharged my ported SIM for. Seriously this people are conducting lousy business and don’t deserve people’s loyalty to them. Disgusted at this attempt for theirs. Keep up the dirty way of doing your business. No one cared when my SIM was dead literally since a year due to bad network but as soon as I gave porting request they were concerned for my issues.

The Vi app has been nothing short of a frustrating experience for me. From the moment I started using it, the data connection has been abysmally slow, making even simple tasks feel like a Herculean challenge. It's unbelievable that it performs worse than a 2G network in this day and age.
To add to the misery, their customer support is an absolute nightmare. I encountered an issue with my connection, and despite numerous attempts to contact them through the app and other means, I received no response whatsoever. It's infuriating to be left hanging without any assistance or even a basic acknowledgment of the problem.
Furthermore, all the customer support numbers provided by Vi were non-functional, making it virtually impossible to reach anyone for help. It's inconceivable that a reputed company could maintain such a pathetic level of service, leaving customers stranded and helpless.
I had hoped that the Vi app would be a convenient way to manage my connection and resolve issues, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. With the extremely poor data connection and non-existent customer support, I regret choosing Vi as my service provider.
Save yourself the frustration and choose your network wisely.

App is still overheating my phone (Now fixed)

Almost an year ago, I reported an issue that the app is overheating my iPhone 12 Mini and draining its battery like crazy. I have to force-close the app to bring the phone’s temperature back to normal. Despite the multiple updates the app has received over time, I’m surprised that this specific issue hasn’t been fixed yet. Its a shame coz it’s a great app with a really nice UI. Please look into it so I can actually use it.
UPDATE: Thank you guys for taking my feedback into consideration. My phone doesn’t overheat anymore. Appreciate your effort.

I really don't understand how you could increase the rates and decrease the benefits every other second week. A week before I saw something at a price but a later when it was my recharge day, it was increased.
Then the recharge had 3 GB data in it but this time you have 2Gb only on that price.
I have a wifi so don’t need too much data but just for maps and notifications when outside. But there is no such way to have enough data on right price.
I understand that it’s your choice to sell your service at what price but you can’t forget that unemployment has rapidly increased in India in past few years and how can someone afford such changes.
Please look into it as your are losing your market. I m not sure when but these insist me to switch the carrier.

I had to port all the numbers of my family to VI as I wasn’t getting good signal for the previous network operator. Everything seemed to be in perfect condition but to my horror the things went from good to bad in just a day. The networks for both the mobile numbers of my family were scraped off stating a reason for non payment of previous operator’s outstanding amount. I had already cleared the pending dues ( well that’s how technically you can port to new operator) but nonetheless I sent the payment receipt to VI as well. I had to write 40 emails and they responded to none. Once you call them on their helpline numbers they act funny and hang up on you. My mother was sick and I couldn’t speak to her and neither could she speak to anyone on phone as both the numbers were shut off by these guys. This was the condition when they already received the payment a month ago and that too this wasn’t their payment. They are sheer pathetic When it comes to resolving your issues and they don’t even bother to reply to your emails. There’s a reason why this company isn’t worth any praises as they don’t deserve one. Better don’t get yourself into trouble and opt for their network instead find someone better who would actually do a good job than these losers.

I am a lady minus a ph connection as my roaming didn’t start ( despite doing all manual procedure suggested by agent ) and i am told to wait till Tuesday 6 pm ie 2 days for the matter to get resolved by technical team . I am told if u r unable to use the service u can get the money refunded and not get in bill but he failed to understand that more than the money its the active phone connection i need at this point of time in a 3rd country .
Disappointed and hence called the international roaming so i can buy a local sim and atleast start calling my people back home and be connected with my people here . I wish my problem was understood and a swift action was taken but the agent rather ended the chat .

One the worst app and the worst service providers, they promised me a speed of 4g with 10 gb data for ₹349 as I was switching over to Airtel but the speed I m getting is 30 kbps download and 1gbps upload , i have made 20 complaints and no one has bothered to resolve it , infact the app is suggesting me plan which will cost me ₹499 and I will get 5gb data so that means I have to pay ₹150 more and cut down my 5gb data so that means instead of 10 gb data I will get 5gb data, how ridiculous is it , I will suggest indian governments should ban Vodafone and fine them so much that they should understand the customers inconvenience . Please give option to rate in negative.

My number was changed from pre paid to post paid when my number stopped working during October last year due some reasons. I was assured that i could change to pre paid connection after 4 months After four months i had approached for change to pre paid connection on March 8 this year I was called to the Vi office on 22 march . I approached the office at sector 20 panchkula. panchkula office asked me to go to sector 11 panchkula . At sector 11 on 26 march I was asked to come on 1 st april for the same. Is in not a humiliation for the customer to move from one place to another ? I feel quite disturbed. Please do the needful to resume my number to pre paid connection. Also please advise on the issue. Worst service provider. When we go fo porting then customer care calls and gives special offers. But when we call for offers they reply sorry no offer. I dont understand that how offers came after porting message. I have complained many times for network issue and internet speed. They just raise complaint and they never called back or send sms regarding that your issue is resolved pr not. Just a sms comes your issue resolved. Same had happened with me many times. Now iam trying to register complaint through vi chat , when i click on register complaint it takes me to app store and vi app comes again and secondly it shows ur number is not recharged. I have screen recording. Iam going to port my 3 numbers to airtel. Airtel network and internet speed is better. If we are paying for 4G speed why we get 3G speed and when i asked customer executive that if ur charging for 4g why u give 3g. Will u give compensation for the time wasted and my loss in my work due to internet speed. The reply was sorry sir. Highly not recommend to my colleagues dont trust vi.

I have been a Vodafone customer for more then 5 years now. Sadly, their tactics to extort money from their customers have finally forced me to move on to another carrier.
How they extort money?
They offer unlimited plans (even call them truly unlimited - 28GB Data/calls/messges/etc). BUT, that's not the case, every time you want to send a message to bank or call 1860 numbers, they say that it's premium rate number and charge you 3 Rupees per min or per sms (that’s not the case with JIO by the way, with my jio, I can call any premium number and I don’t have to do any talk-time recharge). So you have to do additions recharge for talk-time. Then, they randomly deduct money saying that you just sent an sms or you just subscribed to a caller tune, at 3 AM in might, when you were asleep. When you called them, they ask you to remove and insert the sim, with no idea on what that would do.
The app provides no info on how to raise these issues. Customer service are literally a bunch of people who don’t know what they are doing.
I used to have great experience with Vodafone, sadly, they are no longer a reliable company. My suggestion for all customers, if you are facing similar issues (one of my friend had similar issues with VI), port your number. VI is a sinking ship, their app shows that, and they will take their customer down with them.

I know this is not the right place but if there is anyone coming here confused whether to join VI let me tell you-DON’T. Stop right there. If the connectivity was a little better I could have called it pathetic. My wife and I ported to VI this Feb and recharged for a year - biggest mistake. We paid nearly 5000 and not able to make a proper call. I even mailed requesting for a refund but in vain(I know that is not possible). Anyway, the frustration of being not able to make calls or not having proper data connectivity when required has driven us nuts. So much so that we are even thinking of porting out even though we have nearly half year left in our subscription. I have nothing against VI. I was a long time Vodafone user and loved the seamless connectivity back then. I just wish the we got what we paid for.

It’s always sad times with me using your network as my medium of communication. What’s beats my understanding is I always raise the complaints and it’s coming to alsmost a year. It’s like am always not being told the truth as to my number is always suspended. I have actually lost count of the number of times my account has been suspended and it’s regrettable and unfortunate that even now it’s suspended. Whenever I raise the issue it’s rectified provisionally for a few days /less than a week and it resurfaces. As a customer I regret choosing Vodaphone as my medium of communication in India and am loosing trust in it. Worst and pathetic network provider, since 1.5 yrs they are not able resolve their network issues. Especially call drops and poor internet is their specialty, being a continued 7yr post paid customer this is my experience from past 2yrs. Each time i raise a port request i will immediately get follow ups and back to back calls for convincing me to stay back. And this what they say each time “SIR YOU BEING A VALUABLE CUSTOMER FOR VI FROM PAST 7 YEARS, WE WILL ESCALATE IT TO HIGHER AUTHORITY TO SORT THE ISSUES IN 3 WORKING DAYS(WHICH NEVER EVER HAPPENED FROM PAST 1.5 YEARS).” So far if they had escalated may it might have reached now on the CEOs desk, hopefully Mr. Ravinder Takkar will sort this at the earliest 😂🤣😆

From the last 2 months the internet service was too bad. For that the complaint in pending for resolution. Now as per you Customer support officer my location is not covered adequately. I am amazed to see that I am living in a city still you are not able to provide atleast limited internet services where there are wonderful internet services like Jio which I am using as of now. Now the situation is that I lose complete internet services of VI. I don’t know what your backend team did but after her text message I lost internet completely. Tell me will you reimburse my amount as I am not able to use your services. I have post graduate online exam tomorrow which is very critical also I am so worried how can I attend office online. I was an iDEA customer prior to the merge and after merging it has been a disaster. The network is now very weak and even now it shows 4G the connectivity is very poor. Now for the past 3 days it shows “no service”. Tried rebooting the phone, changed the device a couple of times but it still shows “no service”. The lockdown made it difficult for me to reach out to resolve this issue. It’s been a disaster and it has affected my work very badly. Now today when i reached out to a service center they said that it has been happening a lot now and that we need to change the SIM card and get a new one and it also comes with an extra charge !!
This is atrocious !! So just because you merged now all your loyal customer have to pay so that you guys can rebrand ??! This is highly inconvenient and i wish to report this matter. My rating is NO STAR AT ALL !!

I have recently ported my call number from Airtel, thinking V! May have better network strength & internet speed. But it proven me wrong. There are a lot of cranky details during call & internet speed is also not satisfactory level.
When i tried using V! application to clam my benefits, I couldn’t succeed. The clam button doesn’t react. Tried solving this issue through chatting with V! Executive, But couldn’t find any relevant option to choose & connect to a human. The IVR was just keep sending me the same details, even when I typed push a different query.
Nowadays banking sector are uses voice commands for customer self verification. The IVR detects what you say & react with the correct answer.
V! Please update your application. A good animation can’t solve a query/complaint. Keep minimal animation to make easy to understand for common people & expand access to each small query/complaint in the application, which will reduce your human efforts too.

I have been a Vi erstwhile Vodafone erstwhile Hutch erstwhile Orange for past 17 years and ever since they merged with Idea, the network reception in my home deteriorated.
I am neither able to make a single call properly nor receive any signal. Data signal shows 2G. Made many complaints but to no avail. Tried to port out twice but they convinced me they will fix the connection issues during both the times. Finally made up my mind and thought to switch to another provider who has very good signal in my area.
The moment I put out the request there was a barrage of calls from Vodafone at least 30 to 40 calls in less than two days. Its unbelievable how insensitive they are toward what the customer says and continues to beg to retain them. Every Half an hour I would get a call begging to retain. Vodafone must learn to respect the customers decision especially when they are running into losses and when most customers are working from home. They keep asking me what is the issue without looking into the call logs from before. Expect me to explain the same issue all the 30-40 the times they call me. Worst way to Try to retain a customer. Good bye forever Vodafone. You deserve it.

Pathetic level of customer service at the new Vi company is never reflected better anywhere else than in this App. It requires you to authenticate almost two times a week. Once you move past the stupid animation which, btw, reflects the customers own mindset of a trapped animal, it loads up the home page which six out of ten times will fail to load your information. You can’t do much in the app other than recharge. It doesn’t show your recharge history. Doesn’t give option to look at your call records. There are some 20 odd menu items but most of them don’t work.
I hate the app but am forced to use since there’s no other way to use my coupons. They made sure people can’t login into their website. Everyone needs to use the stupid app now. Every time I use the app, I’m reminded of the designers’ and developers’ parents. Pray all of them RIP.
Well, I decided not to be a trapped animal no more. I’m switching to Airtel.

I heard that VodafoneIdea Migrated, I thought this will rock, And Even expected that it will reach higher than Airtel and Jio, This is the perfect review after using 2Months, People Who thought like me Don’t get cheated By this Network Again. If I leave my Hometown then I won’t get signals, it says No service untill I reach a new hometown or city, These VI services are Not enhanced in villages, Poor Coverage. I give 0 rating for Network, coming back to Caller tunes, I’ve ported my Airtel to VodafoneIdea thinking that this Will be the best network than Airtel, But No, Airtel is 100% Better than VodafoneIdea. As I cannot set caller tune, and due to poor network coverage From VI, and VI App crashes all the time in IOS, Feeling Guilty that I simply ported to VI. In my bill of 5 Oct to 4 Nov 20 there are a total of 406 SMSs. I have sent only about 10 SMSs. It shows about 195 SMSs sent within 2 mins to the same number on 24 Oct where as only one SMS was sent. Like wise on other dates and again on 3 Nov it shows about 180+ SMSs in about 2 mins. My complaints are not being taken seriously and I get a routine reply that matter has been investigated and the back end team says the SMSs have been sent from my number. I even made the local Vi store manager talk to the number concerned who informed the manager that only one SMS was received. Pathetic investigation. No system of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) in the company

Whenever I am receiving any update , i started facing problem of login. From last few weeks I am continuously trying to login but not receiving any OTP. This really become nightmare for customers who were there on Vodafone and using Vodafone App.
The browser support for individual prepaid customer login is already been revoked and only depend on Vi App, which is giving hard time. To be honest, I’ve been in this network right from beginning even before Vodafone. The real problem here is tower fluctuations which I’ve made N number of complaints & E-Sim features .

I am facing this problem from last few days .. Internet speed is soo slow that google takes almost 2 min to load and sometimes it shows no internet .. Yday I made a call to check that in view if the name change from Vodafone to Vi if I need to change bank auto pay instructions. I was told no, it is automatically taken care of.
Today I was shocked to receive a msg that my plan has been changed from 399 to 499 although I have not requested for the same. They informed that in their record it shows a msg request recd. I am currently in Australia & my Sim is not in my mobile as I am using an Australian sim. How come a request msg received by Vi. Operator then asked to insert Indian sim and make a change request. It’s ridiculous.

The decision of Idea to merge with the Vodafone may have benefitted both the companies but it has come as a rude shock to the customers of Idea and a customer like me who has started with Spice. There is no network and there is difficulty in calling as well receiving calls. My friends tell me that your phone remains switched off or you are not in the network as I have never switched off my phone. There is always a problem of Internet as most of the time, I have to rely on the WiFi. While using the internet, your phone hangs up due to the lack of internet connection and when you approach the distributors, they say the Company is not listening to their complaints. I am totally fed up and if it continues, I will go to a different service provider as I have virtually been left without a phone. Now they do not allow my review saying No nick name available.

No single call gets connected without a call drop for more than half a dozen times. Range blackout, very low data transfer and what not; No one to hear you; The most efficient service offered is sending Bill Reminders, at times, dont get surprised if you receive a Bill Reminder Text, even before you get Bill. I was been a VIP customer with IDEA and now I feel as if I am a beggar with VI. I am seriously thinking to shift now. Enough is Enough!

The internet connection was always towards the weaker side in Kerala. However, it has become much worse recently and I am always forced to resort to my wifi. The amount I pay for Internet is an absolute waste because mostly it always shows “E”. Further, it refuses to load anything on my desktop browser when connected to hotspot. I have had to disconnect important video calls multiple times in one sitting because of the weak connection. I am using Vodafone for more than 8 years , recently the service by them is very worst.
I was using prepaid connection, from last 8 months I am facing serious issue of outgoing calls and outgoing SMS, kept trying customer care , the worst scenario here is the customer care person will attend the call and he will not speak or disconnect in between or abruptly disconnect the call or give some false commitments or sometimes even false information also.
They just want to disconnect the call for that moment was their intention.
Later I started sending DM thru Twitter then they started reacting but that also was in vain.
This was happening from last March onwards. I was in a situation not able to send PORTING message to port my sim to other service provider.
Later I checked with the store and got a new prepaid sim that too did not work, again I went to the same store and they told me to change to postpaid , then I felt somehow to come out of this Vodafone service , so i decided to change to postpaid.
After changing to postpaid my previous issue was solved w.r.t calls and SMS, but they are charging me some VAS charges without my knowledge and when calling CC they say we don’t have the facility to check for what VAS it was charged and I requested them to book a complaint that too they say they don’t family.

I had taken Corporate addon plan for 20 GB for ₹100 and wanted to stop it at the beginning of the next cycle as I wanted it for one month only
The option for cancelling was not there. I called them and they agreed to cancel it. I saw on the app that I had to pay ₹599 for the ₹499 plan plus ₹100 for corporate plan and I started writing mails to them to see that I am not charged for the same. They deleted the 20GB but they did not remove the addon amount
I got it in writing from them that they will not Charge the amount and now when I got the new bill it was there and they say it cannot be undone now
I also had a similar experience of data of 20GB just being wiped out in a month and they said that I used it in one day and I keep a track as my usage never goes more than 2-4 GB every day and that also max 4GB once in a while

When I visited Europe between 31st Aug and 17th Sep’19, I had availed of your 5999/- roaming package . This never worked for the first 3 days despite calls to Vodafone. A response will be provided within 24 hours is the constant message I received from your Customer Care. Fed up I spent money to visit a Vodafone store in Berlin. The lady there initially said she could not do anything as the package was not bought in Europe. On my pleading she tried something on my phone for about 15 minutes and thankfully the roaming facility became operational. This happened without any help from Customer Care. I paid the full bill on my return but honestly Vodafone needs to refund part of the amount charged .

What can I say... such a huge service provider having very worst APP is a deadly combination. I have already given my feedback... plz plz vodafone work on your IT department.
Now here is the actual problem I have faced so far. When i try to open the app it takes hell amount of time to open sometimes it breaks. I have missed 2/3 billing cycles only because I couldn’t pay the money on time through the app. I didn’t understand whether your clients data is way more important than swiss banking account. Thats why may be this slowness is introduced as a feature.
I have upgraded from last 3-4 major versions but no luck. I have payed 3 times penalties just because of this magic slowness as a feature we have in your app.
Secondly this app it is not user friendly.
Kindly consider this feedback on priority and work on it. I am using corporate plans of vodafone from last 7 years. I don’t want to lose the good relationship so I urge you to work on it on high priority and make the app fast and user friendly.

Bugs in the App

I am not understand how apple team accepted this application which is not meeting apple policies. The issue is there is button to upgrade your paln. When user click on that button then there should be a confirmation message to upgrade and should provide the terms and conditions for change. I clicked unfortunately on that button by hoping that after that they display more details but without any confirmation they taken my request to change plan and due to this I lost 98GB of my data pack in my previous plan. This very ridiculous and customer care people saying they will not revert the same and u lost that data pack. Such a big big in the application , I am wondering how apple team given approval for this app. Normally if any financial apps without customer acceptance should not be taken

Worst Everything..Literally

First the app has lot bugs and been there for quite sometime now. Doesn’t properly reflect your bill and takes lot of time to load. Start up’s do a better job than these multinationals these days.
Second, Their customer service is terrible. No proper communication and they want you to go to store which if want to, why would I call them in the first place.
Third, Their plans are not transparent like jio. Different people are sold different plans based on their paying capacity I guess. Till we keep paying they are ok with the plan we use. If we decide to port then they will give you a very good offer and u realise you are fooled paying so much extra all these times.
And they are very late in getting 4G until like last month.
Overall it looks like a sinking ship and may be idea merger can fix it fast.

Recent update has login issues

After the recent update it is not allowing me to login. It takes me to the login page and when I click on "send otp" button it throws an error that "sorry we are facing some technical error".
Overall I have also observed that there is no easy complaint registration mechanism on this app. Complaints registration for some common issues related to network, billing etc should be on a single click rather than giving chat option which is useless as people don't have time to type and wait for your executive to respond.

Worst user experience where nothing works

I have no idea what Vodafone is trying to achieve here with such an awful user experience from the app. Too much animations and overlays for absolutely nothing. Replace the person on the team whoever is deciding the UI/UX. Every time I open the app, I have to click on “continue to app”. What is wrong with you people? This is your idea of developing an app? So many useless animations and complexities within the app for absolutely no reason. I cannot do anything from the app. Bill payments, usage statistics, plan details - nothing works. It always gets stuck on the loading screen.
Here’s a tip: learn app UI/UX from the new Airtel app. They have a really clean and sleek interface. Your app animations and interactions feel very much bloated and purposeless. Fire your UI/UX lead and hire a new one. And learn from the most popular apps how an app should look and feel.

Vodafone has become one of the worst networks available in Maharashtra!!! No capable of providing 4G services and call drops are so common that sometimes i feel embarrassed to even call my clients!! I had paid the bill on 11th May 2018 and Vodafone non stopped harassed with nonstop pre recorded voice message that my payment has bern due, after this i made payment once again and still took time to reflect in my account and later got to know that i have paid bill twice the generated because of scrappy system of company and when i asked for refund customer care asks me to get my money on once again to the other customer care... call drops / call failure’s are common even ur on a main street/road.. 4G is no use as to open this app and write a review it took me 7 minutes!! I am done with this service and wish to port in next billing cycle!!!

New Update is Bad

The update has brought a problem . I had registered four mobile numbers three of which are in my name and one in one of my family members . I used to follow the usage etc of these numbers on my mobile device. After the update these numbers have vanished and updated version is not allowing their re-registration. When I try to do this a message flashes “these are in secondary list”. But this list is nowhere to be found. Not even in Your Account. Chat with support also stated look into My Account tab. There is no My Account tab. We can see only Your Account. No one is there to resolve this issue. Secondly, every time we open the app , we have to face their announcements regarding their products. Why must we made to suffer these. Just because we are using VODAFONE APP.
