Recognising iPad 10.2

The app is recognising my iPad 10.2 as iPad Pro and hence does not allow me to access the free features that a non-pro device should have. Very disappointed with Microsoft because of this. Moving to Google Docs for now.

The keyboard is behaving weird. After the subscription, it types normal; but, after some days, it gets slower. I tap on a key and expect, in few milliseconds, the letter should be shown, but it takes 2 to 2.5 seconds to show it. The eraser has a different problem, After tapping once, it should erase one letter at a time; but it doesn’t stop. Then I have to type the same word again. Please fix this issue as soon as possible. Thanks

That’s so super idiotic. We can’t even use it without the 365. Then what’s the point of having it those who don’t have the subscription. Just to use it on my iPad I have to have a subscription. What’s the point of Word. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Nothing like the desktop app. People are spending real money on this useless iTunes app. Absolutely impossible to log in with an OTP threat for every attempt to log in. Once the OTP is received and entered a message comes saying that something is wrong and directing the user to live.com to try and log in again. On this website, another OTP materialises which does not work either.
Will never use a Microsoft app again. Deleting this app immediately. One of those foolish things I do in life, not because I am entirely stupid, but because a good trap was sprung on me.

Worst app. Every time I open document, it asks me sign in Microsoft account which never happens despite inputting right credentials. And then it asks to login thru browser. Deleted it today. Don’t download and waste your time.

Compulsory subscription for professional users seems fine. But charging for something that is so integrated in our lives and specially for 11 inch ipad pro and not other ipads is wrong. I request Apple to please make it free or allow a one time purchase for home editions atleast.

I love the app. Great ease to use this app.
The only problem is that, my device is iOS and its really very difficult to email the documents or copy paste it onto gmail compose. Hope y’all take action and improve on that soon. :)

Super convenient to create and save documents on the go. Can login from any device whenever required. Needless to manually save the docs. as it does so on it’s own, so if you run out of battery or the electricity is cut, needn’t worry. You will find your document as and where you had left it. Absolutely user friendly. Also provides you with a choice of pamphlets as per your requirement.

On the Internet , it says that you can use word , excel and PowerPoint by Microsoft for free (for editing ) if your iOS is 11 and over but ITS NOT THE CASE ! You HAVE to get the subscription else you won’t be able to do anything except view . I have iPad Air 3rd generation. My apps are updated . Still have to uninstall all three apps now .
The app keeps getting more bugs with each update.

The texts just tend to disappear randomly or random paragraphs at the end or at the beginning tend to disappear when scrolling especially with a mouse. Many times the delete key on the smart key board just stops functioning. The app continues to be highly unreliable and frustratingly buggy.
