I have update the app for latest version but music quality does not improved. App is playing low quality audio streaming since 3-4 months. I delete and install the app many time but not fixed. Other music app playing good quality music. Please help to rid of low quality music. Love the app, curated playlist and recommendations but due to low quality of music not useful.

Amazon Music is great. As it bundled with prime membership it’s way better priced than other competitors but the thing is some songs get uploaded over on time. Some never even come even tho it’s quite trending and popular songs. Only one suggestion is to improve their library and add atleast popular songs. The team needs to acknowledge artist and put some efforts to have a large library like Spotify. If this happen then there won’t be nothing holding back for this app.

The app was working perfectly till the last update, after which, in order to edit a playlist and shuffle songs up and down to make our own list has become a task. Whenever a song is added or an existing song is to be editing in the list of a playlist, it has to be very slowly and one by one, which has made the task tedious. Overall, the app is fantastic, just this small issue becomes a pain after a while, so I sincerely hope this issue is resolved soon and the playlist edits go back to the way they were.

1. All the songs now appear recently added playlist whereas only few of them have been added.
2. If I am playing the music in a playlist and if I pause the songs, the next time the playlist doesn’t continue from there I have to start the playlist all over again this is again being faced after the recent app update.

Have been using this app for more than a year. Content and song quality is good.
I have prime subscription and downloaded many of the songs. But noticed that if I don’t play the songs for few days the song status changes next time you open it starts downloading freshly. When we have a bigger playlist it takes too much of data to download all the songs again !!! Request the developers to check why already downloaded songs vanishes and downloads again freshly after a few days. This is very annoying and beats the purpose of having downloaded songs in the device for usage

Even using the latest iPad Pro m1 the UI isn’t smooth and sometimes simple swipes fails to register. The app isn’t compatible to run on iPad properly. All other streaming services seems to have better functions and interface however this still feels like it’s in beta stage. There is no option to set quality of the songs. Only standard is given out of two options with other being Data Saver. What does “Auto” means in streaming quality? Swipe at top left to browse anything while running music! This is not so good for trial experience

This app is so nice that I enjoy playing music all time. However, the shuffle option among the downloaded songs isn’t working as expected. After downloading new songs and despite using “Refresh music” option in settings, same set of songs keep on playing again and again.. I hv to manually go back and select songs… Hope the developers fix this issue ASAP!!
Apart from the above problem, I don’t see any other issue and app works very well. Music quality is also good.

Whenever I connect my device to Bluetooth speaker while a song is playing the song keeps playing in the device’s speaker even if I select audio device as Bluetooth speaker manually so I have to restart the app if I want to play it in Bluetooth speaker..this problem was not there in Wynk music..
Also I switched from Wynk to prime because of Alexa..but Alexa does not work with the keyword while songs are playing so it’s troublesome to search songs while driving..

There are some bug that make it crash while being in use and that’s kinda irritating. So, hoping that’ll be taken care of in further updates.
Two things i want to suggest that’ll probably make this app worthy of five stars.
1st:
Adding volume control right on player screen. Because, why not there is plenty of space above and below the music controls and it will more convenient to control the volume right away.
2nd:
Adding the option to download any music right from the search or even from playlist unlike tapping the three dot option then tapping on download.
Because, only people who paid for prime membership can use this app. So, adding that will make it more convenient for people like us who like to store songs on their phone for listening while being offline.

Best part is there are no ads in between our playlist. It has wonderful collection of songs especially new ones but the sad part is many selected songs like the old ones and few latest songs are not there. Sometime songs already added to my playlist disappears, n have to search n add again. Few songs example “biba “ is now removed from there collection list so not able to play any more. This app is really amazing. By writing this review as best it doesn’t mean the other apps are not that much good or worth it. Every app has its own speciality. The speciality in this app is to be seen for rating and reviewing.
1. The quality of the musics are really fantastic. The sound and acoustics are great while listening.
2. The offline download option makes you feel that you have everything on your device and you are not playing it from online app.
3. The Alexa makes to choose the music easily.
4. The predefined playlist is such a boon. It has all in its own and suits everyone.
5. Multilingual is another positive for music listeners.
6. The mirroring the songs to external devices are just a click.
7. Hassle free song sharing option
8. The karaoke option is too good to learn the lyrics and tune easily.
The list goes on.... and the best would prefer a best one like this. Aren’t you?
Subscription charges of ₹.999/- would make you think, but I also thought for a longer time and tried 30days free subscription and finally paid the subscription and enjoying the service.

Prime Music is a good app and is very cheap solution to stream HD songs as compared to Apple Music,Saavn,Ganna and Hungama which usually charge you around ₹999 for a year,where-as you get prime video and free shipping for ₹999 along with it that,you give for prime membership.
The player is also very cool and the sound quality is amazing. As the app is very new in the market it has less songs but this problem will be rectified soon.

While playing in the background while I am scrolling something else, if there is a video which starts playing on some other app, the audio STOPS and the audio won’t resume after I close the other app that caused the audio to be paused.
I can’t even resume it from the control center as the songs gets completely vanished away from it. I have to come back to the app to resume the song/audio.
If not auto resume, it would be better if I atleast get the feature to resume the audio from control center.

There are times when the player just doesn't continue playing songs after being paused. After just five minutes of no play, the app is killed and I'm forced to go back and reopen it and resume. Secondly, there's a weird bug when using earphones (wired or wireless). When I pause with the device's button and wait for a few minutes and press it again to play, it plays for literally 200ms and pauses again and I'm forced to press the button again to play. This occurs all the time and is troublesome when on the bike because it almost feels like I clicked play and pause really quickly except is so quick that it's like a double tap and I'm pressing it just once.

There is a really good collection of English music, rarely do I find something not available . This is true across multiple genres and also , it’s good to have the search results classified as songs , albums , playlists & stations
However, It is hard to separate original artist tracks from cover versions by random artists. I believe that is a distinction that needs to be made
I do notice also that quality of the track is not consistent - like Sometimes clarity is missed
Also if you download, after some time songs disappear from the phone - not sure why that happens
Overall though I would definitely recommend this Service , especially for English music fans

Best app of songs . I prefer to download it now. Unlimited downloads. We can download unlimited songs in free. It is good for me because I travel allot with my family. And I am usually bore in airport or a place where there is no wifi like when I am in plane or car or any vehicles. We can download it easily. I loved the app and I think everyone should pick this app for songs. 👏👏🙂🙂happy and satisfied with this app.
Playlists get lost

If you download some songs and add them to a playlist and don’t play the songs for a few days, the playlists disappear somewhere and it’s impossible to search for your own playlists. What is the point of even downloading songs and creating a playlist if you want to revisit them after few days and they’re gone !!
The thumbnail of the recently downloaded songs show that there are songs downloaded but on opening the recently downloaded songs playlist, it shows that there are no recently downloaded songs and gives option that if I choose to, I can then download songs within the app.
If the internal working of the app is that the recently downloaded playlist should only display songs downloaded in the past “N” days only rather than in the reverse chronological order of songs downloaded so far, then it is a very poor design in terms of user experience.

Even though the new update has brought in better UI, the search bar is not at all great. To sort “My Music” it is now a 3-step process. Earlier it was just a tap away, quick and was visible. Now, we have to wait for the results to show and then filter to “My Music”. If we don’t wait for the results to show up and filter to “My Music” it’ll not show your songs. And on a personal note, please add a volume slider below the play/pause button. Half of the screen is dedicated to the artwork and the remaining half for the controls. Apparently the controls don’t need that much space hence, add a volume slider and make the artwork slightly bigger. Thanks.

Few things about this app are :-
1) Simplicity - UI is very simple and elegant. It is easy to understand the buttons and features
2) Performance- It loads the song fast and buffer the data in the background so that even if there is any technical lag or coverage outage there will not be any issue or pause while listening to the music

Edit: changed to 2 stars just because the new version has gone away with the now playing spherical ball interface in the Centre. It was so easy with the ball interface to swipe between songs. It has been replaced with a boring traditional strip for ‘now playing’
Pros:
1. Such a beautiful interface.
2. The player is really good to use with the gestures and it’s so easy.
3. Prime membership benefits
Cons are:
1. More English playlist options
2. Radio stations are still in nascent stage
3. Download button is not displayed but inside a menu
4. No option for song click “add to que” like in wynk music. It plays by default. Have to click on the plus icon specifically to add to playlist
I’m writing so many cons so that the developers can read this and fix them soon.. it’s a really good app and can be so much better. Expecting a lot from this app that’s why the 5 star..

The app works seamlessly and has mostly everything that one would need from a media player. I would have given 5 stars but there may still be a few things to look at. One of that is to have a song fade in and fade out feature. Sometimes a song will start immediately after the previous one which would spoil the listening experience. The fade feature will be helpful and also a couple of seconds gap between songs transition is also a good thing to look at.

UPDATE : Even after so many years and updates the app STILL doesn’t work well with all 3 cars of mine. Whenever i connect wired or Bluetooth, it gives media connection unavailable error. I give up now. Wynk music is better in this regards.
I really like this app. One of the best if not the best. But it has issues. Since day one. I am just not able to play music in my car with the iPhone cable. Sometimes it works and mostly doesn’t. My car is Hyundai Xcent. It gives me error ‘media connection unavailable’. Tried disconnecting and connecting several times (from months now), and it works very rarely. A low quality app like Jio Music works fine in this regard. Please do something about this problem. And secondly not everyone wants regional language music. Your app is forcefully giving that to us. When we select languages then those should only be shown too us. The same issue is with Prime Video app on phone, website and fire tv. Please allow hiding kanada etc content as its more of a nuisance to most of us. Also this music app problem. Thanks
Songs do not resume if I pass through a bad network area

When I pass thoroug a bad network area while driving the song stops and app throws an alert- offline mode / no network etc.
After that when I come to a another area with good cellular network the songs do not resume automatically.
This is really annoying specially when you are driving.
Bad UI, can’t sort by ‘Artist’, every song I ever downloaded disappeared

Been using for more than an year or so. The UI is sub par at best and could most definitely use a facelift; recommendations aren’t all that great; Sort by ‘Artist’ is something that should be available; the primary reason for this vindictive review would be that I downloaded a tonne of songs and they just weren’t available offline one fine day even though they were still part of ‘my music’. Music/ost/themes from Anime, TV series and games would be a great addition. Underrated Bands like dispatch, forty foot echo, thousand foot Krutch, better than Ezra etc are either missing entirely or songs that are famous and well known are unavailable. Also ever-so-often certain songs become unavailable and can’t be accessed.

Everything is good but there is one major flaw in the app. There is no option in the downloaded list where the most recent songs show on the top, it’s only alphabetically displayed. And recently downloaded playlist shows only a few recent songs. This used to be there an year back but not anymore and I fail to understand the reason for the omission of this.
All songs downloaded should be shown according to this format only. Most recent one on top and so on.
Please rectify, otherwise a great app.

Music app is really cool and it comes with a lot of playlist options as well. Once you have added any song in your playlist and in long run you have deleted that song from your playlist. Suppose you go back in the browser and search for the same song again there is no option of adding back that song in your playlist.. Please adjust this.

I have been using it for few months, and I must say I am impressed with their app. The thing that I like the most is the audio buffering mechanism which is good enough to support low bandwidth internet network . Also they have started working on their limited collection of Indian language music. Now I am seeing more and more nice playlists plus most of the recent market updates getting reflected here. Keep up the good work!

This app is simply amazing. I have tried several other music apps too (paid pro versions of other apps), but have never been able to get this high streaming quality of audio anywhere else. Let it be over Bluetooth, AirPlay, Aux or simply over earphones. The recently introduced x-ray lyrics feature is a class apart! It does not have thaaat huge collection of songs though, but that is ignorable! Impressive!!!

It should have a good background other than the current black one like a white one and you should also improve the search speed. A lot of things like the phase of the music player could also be improved. And also make it more kind of open because I feel it’s just showing the music we search for unlike other apps which also allows us to discover more music.

Better than Apple Music in some respects, but I do miss not having lyrics on tap at times.
There's a minor issue that needs fixing: when I try to unsubscribe to the promotional emails from my iPhone, it takes me to the app, where there is no 'manage' option; I have to do it via PC or laptop.
Hands-free with Alexa has some limitations too - I was typing away on my laptop while listening and Alexa kept interpreting those keystrokes as voice commands. Eventually, I had to turn Alexa off.

The UI needs a lot of work if you compare it with the Saavan app. There is no download button which you can press to download a song when you search for it. You would have to press the 3 vertical dots and then press the download button. When you see an album, the player disappears so you cannot fast forward a song while simultaneously checking an album of songs. There is no separate list for my music and downloaded songs. Some songs are also not available compared to Saavan app.

The song collection is astounding. Always a delight to listen on Prime Music. But, there are lots of problems I have with the app. The UI is very old fashioned, It's not very minimalistic, App has way to many options that are not required at all. The developers really need to revamp the app and the UI completely.
Next, coming to the Radio stations. The songs are often repeated and the discovery of the songs is very limited. Please update your Stations as well.
This app has the geniune potential to beat Apple music and Saavn. If the necessary changes are made.

The app should have facilitated with Saavn and Raaga collections too which will make it complete else this app has very good interface which is customer friendly and ensures that playlist are meaningful with best of the songs collection from that playlist. I especially loved the regional importance this app has given to India and carries diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds of India. Way to go on innovation and with current collections and look forward to mighty more collection.

So many amazing songs are not available and search feature just doesn’t work well. For example, when you search a song by its name, all the remix ones appear first and you have to go on searching for original song. Also, Bollywood library needs major improvement. Live playlist keeps playing same set of songs on loop. There is no place where I can search my most played songs, favourite songs. This is disappointing since I paid for prime membership and I get this! Major thumbs down 👎👎👎

The User interface is more responsive and thoughtful compared to other streaming services available in India.I have used some carrier provided music streaming services and Apple Music it does not get any better than this in that low of Budget. New tittles are made available as soon as possible with their explicit version included. I only find google play music as a worthy challenger to it but its premium service is not at par to prime as a whole bundle. Apple Music remains as stubborn and expensive as always.

It’s a really good app especially for the prime users. The only problem I have is that music is limited to a few languages and I like to listen to musical artists of different countries and languages. Having more variety in the artists and music would make a user’s experience better cuz music in my opinion is not limited to a few selected languages. That’s the only concern I have about this app, otherwise it’s really good

I love that I can access my local files as well as freely available music from the web, without having to sync my iPhone. However, when I add songs to a playlist it also appears in My Music. So when I want to play all the other songs that I downloaded, I have to skip through these specific songs I created a diff playlist for. I hope you can give us more flexibility in organising our music.

The collection is small in Indian languages. However I use it to listen to English music. So, serves my purpose. The best feature is the one that’s recently added: Controlling the music streaming on your Echo device. Yes! You heard that right. Now you don’t have to open the Alexa app separately to control the playback. You can also control the volume on your Echo directly using the volume rockers on your iPhone. You can also play the music on the devices connected via AirPlay. Overall, a great app! Cheaper than Apple Music (but not necessarily better).

The app is amazing but there is a small bug while downloading.
Whenever I leave the app or lock my device the downloads stop and I have to restart the app to resume it. Also some songs are remixes rather than the original one. For example “hymn for the weekend” by coldplay has a remix but not the original song.
I hope you understand and fix this issue.

I like the interface. And service with no adds is really nice. I would like to suggest a few improvements..
1. Radio option, like if a song is played then a radio option would play songs similar to that genre.
2. The collection of songs is not up to the mark, like i searched for the album Namastey london it was not there and many others songs are missing.
3. Sometimes due to spell error the song is not shown, so different songs suggestions should be given. Example: main tera hero and mai tera Hero, zindagi na milegi dobara and zindagi naa milegi Dubara.

I am disappointed 😏 may be because I had great expectations from it.
I had used Wync, Saavn but I couldn’t stick around for ads and cost. I tried this because I already had prime subscription.
Music collection is not that good in here and to make it worse search functionality is kind of broken. If you are looking for some particular song, and if you search by title, some of the times you won’t find it, but if you then search with artist or album you just might find it; or other way around.
Local content is also hard to find.
While playing some music, after finding it with usual difficulty, if you are looking for something to add to the queue, you some times end up clearing the queue if you click on some song or album; instead of adding it to the end of the queue, your beloved queue gets flushed out and new thing you clicked may be by mistake starts playing. 🤦♂️
Stations is the best thing though, good job there.
Will wait till my prime subscription expires, I can only hope it gets better by then.

It has almost everything you can search for - and even though the results are displayed a little haphazardly, once you learn your way around the interface it works really well. The UI of the Mini Player is simply genius - and I wonder why everyone else doesn’t do this already. The swipes and clicks are merged beautifully into a non obstructive mini structure at the bottom. Overall - this app is well worth downloading - especially since it also integrates with your local music if you turn on the toggle for “offline music”.
