Description

Okta Verify is a lightweight app that is used for 2-step verification so you can confirm your identity when you sign in to your Okta account. This gives you an extra layer of security so that you - and only you - can access your applications.
When you sign in to Okta, you can use Okta Verify to obtain a temporary 6-digit code or to approve a request notification sent to your device (your organization must enable notifications to use this feature).
Okta values your privacy. Okta Verify does not store personal information - we request permission only for your device camera, which is used to scan a QR code to register your device with Okta.

* Add one or more Okta accounts that require Okta Verify for authentication.
* Manage 2-factor authentication for non-Okta applications and web services that require the use of passcodes.

Asking to confirm number everytime

Also, due to face unlocking required for each confirmation along with number validation, lots of time is getting wasted each time. In a day, I usually have to confirm signin about 20 or more times.
Earlier I just had to click yes or no but now after clicking yes, I have to confirm the number along with my face unlock confirmation.

Signing in using push notification doesn’t work well as it doesn’t gives option to choose Yes/No.
Tried using swipe and long press too, it will show the option to choose Yes/No only for milliseconds and then switches to review. Then you have to open app and then approve and then close the app.

I have been using Okta verifier for more than 2 years now and its been very smooth way to login and verify. Now that I am on passwordless authentication, my mobile logins are free of passwords and all I have to do is just choose Okta verify from the drop down of Okta login and I verify my login and that's it, in no time I have logged into my mobile. The verification through iWatch is another super touch for logging in. Kudo's to Okta for such seemless and secured verifying apps.

If someone’s already using okta, and has finger print scan already built in for security - I dont think there is any need for putting in another un-neceaaary pseudo intellectual layer of worthless security. Superbly mindless app - when you access everything on mobile, okta for mobile shows barcode on a screen and okta verify goes and searches for this barcode using my device’s camera. I cant think of a more idiotic integration between 2 apps from same provider !!! Hats off !!!
