Works well, formatting the chm book and features available are quite good.
Few bugs do exists mostly highlighting is a hit or miss but that's more to do chm file. One of the best chm apps available.

Definitely not a good reader for iPad. It makes reading miserable. The highlight option does not work properly- sometimes lines do not get highlighted,sometimes highlight takes place at unintended places and when i close the file after highlighting and reopen it,the highlight just vanishes! Notes option is there but it is not possible to find where i had pasted a note. Sometimes changes the chapters spontaneously while reading. Unfortunately there is no other application to read a chm file

I downloaded many chm readers and came to the conclusion that this is probably the best one out there.
So I purchased CHM+ Reader. I am happy but still I feel handcuffed.
1. Annotation feature : This feature is simply not upto the mark. Needs a lot of improvement. I would like to freehand annotate. Scribble, make drawings, make circles. In short I want the feel of using a real text book.
My studies could become so much more effective. But right now it feels like Just a newspaper but difficult to make notes.
I have no intention of hurting the developer, but please take a look at the Good reader App. It does an amazing job when it comes to annotation and highlighting.
2. Annotation on PDF files : I can read the PDF file. Alright, No problem, but I simply cannot make any annotations/highlight. Its a read only PDF. No highlighting / scribbling possible on the PDF So for PDF files I may have to purchase another app.
3. Taking Notes :
I like the feature of taking notes for a particular highlight. I also appreciate the idea of showing all the highlights containing notes in a list format.
But it doesnt serve my purpose.
Example. Question. What is diabetes?(2 marks) What are the types of diabetes mellitus?(4 marks) What are the late complications of diabetes?( 4 marks) Add a note on clinical features of diabetic nephropathy.(5 Marks).( I.e. 15 marks Essay question.}.
The chapter on diabetes is spread over 35 pages. If I am to make notes for the above question, I would have to type it in on a real notebook or type it on a wordpad on PC.
SO WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO SPLIT THE SCREEN IN 2 HALVES. UPPER HALF DISPLAYS WHILE THE LOWER HALF I CAN TAKE THE NOTES. SO ALL MY NOTES CAN BE WELL ORGANISED AT ONE PLACE. JUST LIKE PAD.
AT PRESENT I AM USING WORDPAD ON PC TO TAKE NOTES AS I READ.
Storing notes for a particular highlight is not convenient. I need to take note for the whole document. Not note for every highlight separately.
PLEASE NOTE : I USE A BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD FOR IPAD(NOT THE ONSCREEN ONE).
