Its a lovely application for finding songs that u listen here and there and dont know which one is it but still it has a few bugs in it, sometimes when i use it while a song is playing it automatically crashes and doesnt do a thing and no matter how many times than i try for the same song, it keeps on crashing for that song and then i have to skip the song!!! Seems Shazam team has made some changes to the codes. Shazam is not as sharp as it used to be earlier. Have noticed that of late many songs are not detected by the application even when the sound is clear and closer to the source. I have seen Shazam’s performance in the past, and it used to be extremely sharp in picking up a particular tune even when there was lot of noise around.
I have been a great fan of Shazam and it’s one of the must have app in my list. It’s a wonderful application and a boon for music lovers.

I absolutely love how Shazam has given us the ability to recognise and discover music across many genres. I use Apple Music specifically to sync and add Shazam’s to my Library. However, the sync is unreliable. These 2 apps seem to have a mind of their own. The syncs are sometimes delayed not just by hours but by days. In my opinion, the syncs should be immediate and the most recent Shazam should be right on top in the β€œMy Shazam’s” playlist in Apple Music. I have 238 Shazam’s on my Shazam App but only 176 appear in the Apple Music Playlist. After years of trying I’ve just given up. This is basic stuff. Get it right Apple. C’mon. I expect better from you.

Though it's a great app, I paid for the premium version and then after a days they made it free. I think I should have been refunded the fee.
Otherwise, it's revolutionary. One suggestion, In auto Shazam mode, once a song has been discovered it no longer auto Shazams and you have to tap on the button for it to hear another song. It should be made auto.

Always heard of Shazam but never really installed it, Till this morning when i was listening to a song being played on the Radio and was curious to ask siri about which one it was, And siri was back with the response in less than a sec(I was like β€˜whoaah, this is amazing’). It was clear that Siri used shazam to identify the song. And here you go, I’m enjoying and exploring the app, identifying music, lyrics nicely in sync with the music, videos 😍 all in one place.

I guess this was the best app I had ever installed for maybe 4 years up until a month or two ago when it has been rendered to be completely useless in identifying songs. It doesn’t even give me a result of any song. So disappointed.

If you could just allow us to find out any other songs in languages other than English Hindi and Bengali, it would really be of great help because there are a few songs of the buddhist which are really Nice and trippy but I cannot find out the name of the song as the names that the pronounce are really very difficult to find out over Internet, as their colloquial language and The spelling of the songs in English quite different so it would really be of helpful if you could just love us also to use this your app and find out these names as I love some of the songs but couldn’t find them over the Internet. Thanking you in anticipation of a favourable response.

Shazam tells you which song or track you are listening to almost immediately. When I am at parties or other social events it is very helpful. There were several times before the age of apps when we would hear a beautiful tune, a fresh song or an old soulful song, in the language we speak or some unknown language but would never find the name if no one around would know it.
Shazam changed that scene in a revolutionary way, imagine a software comparing the tune in a database of millions of songs and giving you the accurate result in few seconds. It’s more than the technology, it’s about the happiness of knowing the song.
I have shazamed songs of regional languages apart from my mother tongue Bangla e.g. Tamil, Kannada, Marathi. This has my song collection richer and more fulfilling.
Also the feature of directly connecting to iTunes is an extra icing to the already wonderful app.
Thank you to the original developers of Shazam. You people did more of a social work than a mere business.

I remember I was in 11th stds when I first used Shazam, that was an amazing xp for me, many people who didn’t know about this and almost no idea about song recognition like Shazam and trackID etc, they were like WOW, its an amazing thing.
Now the utmost honest part of this review is months back Shazam took at least 3-4 seconds and during those old days, Shazam took 10-15 seconds to recognise the music. But, now, when I’m using Shazam, I can’t believe my eyes, it took only a second, and some microseconds, not more than that to guess the song, truely as true. 😧
Amazing app, I’m planning to purchase Encore version of this.

The app is sic (really really amazingly sic). Mandatory for every music lover. Best part is : you find a track using Shazam and open it directly in apple iTunes if you have Apple Music subscription.

Find songs with just a click. N plus direct search feature on Apple Music n iTunes is awesome, but this feature doesn't work with few songs. Have to search manually sometimes. I guess an update would rectify this issue. Apart from that gr8 app.
