One thing I didn’t really enjoyed about Google is not having an option to turn on reader mode. Even though Google app has dark mode but still it is irritating when opening a website directly from the Discover we will see a white screen after that you don’t have any option to make it darker. Great! But there is tricky bug where at the first step if your trying to pay a amount which exceeds the balance amount, it throws an error with 2 options ,

2. Check bank balance

Added my new bank account to gpay and the goat got suspended for verification and it’s been more than 2 month and still the gpay account is in verification. And when I speak to customer representative they say the issue is escalated and your issue will be resolved and you will have to wait and we cannot provide the timelines when the issue will be resolved. So I switched to other payment apps which good that this happened to me so I got to experience the other payment apps and got to know true face about google pay support. I used this app on my iPhone. It demoralise and demotivates you with its news content. For e.g. if you do search on health benefit of consuming turmeric, later Google will start populating content that talks about ‘turmeric is not good’. Another eg, if you start search on stock market , it will populate all contents that says ‘stock market will crash by 100% ‘. Search for jobs, it will populate mass layoff news. I cross verified, few news feed on its authenticity, it was absolutely fake news from unfamiliar news websites. What a cruel minded design with a poor algorithm . Google - really needs to look at it new feed to individual ( both Google algorithms & your news partners). Absolutely unfamiliar online news feeds are coming. It’s harmful and demoralising in nature .

Have been using this app since last few years, just after they changed the name from Tez to GPAY. Initially, it was working all right. But in the last couple of years it started to crash often and at most embarrassing moments. Like today, 10th June 22, while I opened the app to make a payment, I was faced with a page asking me to input my phone number. As when you are initially opening the app. I had a backup app and made the payment.

Until last year, I only had GPAY . But now I have others who have not let me down at crucial time. Will instal and keep GPAY as a stepney as I will not be operating it regularly, because of the frequent crashes.

While the app does almost everything it is designed to do.. there are a few things due to which I prefer googling via safari app instead of google app. Following are my two cents.

1. It does not offer a readers view like safari app does. While most web pages are bombarded by ad’s, most of the time you don’t realise when I’ve moved from the paragraph I was reading and started reading from a ad in between the content. This also leads to clicking on links from ads instead of links from the web pages intended content eventually causing unnecessary frustration. Hence a reader view is very necessary

2. Google app does not offer an option to search for keywords within the web page while safari app does this job fantastically. Finding a needle in the haystack becomes a piece of cake

3. I as a user require more control over the articles I see when I fire up the google app. At present it picks and shows things based on its own observations. It would be awesome if I could define what I want to see there. For eg. news articles only from my city or state or country.. so on

I’d appreciate if these could be incorporated in your next release

I use Google mainly for the personalised feed. I thought read aloud is gonna be very much useful until I really started using it to listen to multiple articles.

For a single article it works fine but when I tried to add another article to the queue, the app freezes, closes and sometimes don’t respond.

Weirdly after this its opening all the old tabs that I’ve closed recently. Like it has a restore option to go back 10 mins or so.

I am using google search from two months and suddenly it stared crashing and crashing I try to update it again but it won’t stop crashing and same goes to google meet the voice on meeting is not clear it crash video is not clear at I don’t have any network problem but then also I am very disappointed with this app

I’ve use my latest brand model iPhone, even all phone app’s including google which was updated on feasible time, other phone app’s is supporting me as a friend, but when I was open the google app, a fractions of second it will be vanished, can’t proceed to work on it una recent time

I thought it might be memory issue so I have restarted my device and I did update also still same issue is seen

Dear Team

Google apps are part of my daily activities. Be it travel or to look for any topic, etc. However google search engine app on my iPhone7 has started crashing and immediately get itself close after clicking on icon. I hoped that after system upgradation to 13.7 and app updation, issue will get resolved. However no hope till date after trying everything from my end. Please rectify the error asap.

Google has being evolved the human being most of the time in right direction

If you take your customer advice like always it would far better than now

Things needed :

1) google must inform /notify the user about the occasions like birthday , Anniversaries etc of their interest.

For eg. there are 10 famous personalities in my interest list which I’m following in my google app , then I must rec. their special occasion like birthday , anniversary notification etc.

2) google translate must be logged in by an a/c so that the user don’t loose the favourites ⭐️ (words/meaning) while reinstalling the app

I have never ever had this kind of experience with Google app , since morning my iphone 7 google app is crashing when ever i am trying to open it , now i have uninstalled and again re installing it .... may be it will start working now

The Google app is crashing as soon as I launch it. What’s this weird issue?? I haven’t ever faced it before. I was using iOS 13.6, now I’ve updated to 13.7. Earlier I tried restarting my iPhone as well, but it didn’t help. Please FIX THIS ASAP! Thank you!

Today I opened Google app on my iPhone 5s and Google asked me whether or not to send analytics data like something and I pressed ALLOW..... But since then Google has been crashing everytime I open it... even tried updating the app....

Google app has become more of a distraction app than a search app. Half the time search doesn’t work and needs restarting multiple times. On top of that, everytime I visit the app, they keep distracting the user with the most useless click bait style news articles. This distraction makes you forget why you open the google search app in the first place. Not sure why anyone should have this app installed when the Google Chrome app works perfectly to quickly search things. Another useless offering from Google and which should be killed and resources focused on solving better problems.

I want a photo that can be scrolled down not like PDFs like you take a screenshot of the whole page at once and when you open it in your gallery you can see photos as usual how you see now but when you you scroll down it reveals the page until it ends.

I rely solely on this app for search and news exploration. And I like it. It's just that since past couple of months, the app keeps crashing randomly and what's worse for me, it doesn't show anything at all in the "recent" section. Please fix this as soon as possible so that I can change it's rating to a 5-star.

The stories I am seeing on my feed look like the ones on iPhone, one card after the other. This has happened recently. Previously it would use all the screen to show stories in 2 columns. I don’t like this because I have to scroll all the way down to view all stories, whereas I could easily see more information at a single glance.

Dear google ,

This my feedback for you! There’s a kpop band called BTS and I am an army . I am writing this just for the members sake ! If I search BTS ... it says it has six members when there is 7 members and as for the armies , BTS is incomplete without any single member !! Also it shows 7 but it doesn’t show the member’s face but If u click it it shows that he is an actor instead of vocalist . I know that armies wanna see this in dramas but it is just that he has his own job as a singer .

So in conclusion I want to request u to correct it coz it’s becoming a mess here also the “bangtan logo” it doesn’t show the logo also!!!

Plz update it properly!

Google lens icon not showing

All things are good on this app, but google lens icon is not showing in search bar. I have to take photo manually and using google photos app I can search it which is a tedious task.

I had already performed all the troubleshooting techniques like reinstall, reboot even factory reset also but nothing works for me. Please provide me a solution for this problem.

Has become sluggish and slow to show the feeds

It’s been atleast 2-3 months now I have been observing across different devices across different os that the news feed section on google mobile app has become extremely sluggish and slow to load. Refresh takes forever. Not sure what and why but nothing to do with device speed or internet speed. This is completely app based behavior and hopefully will push me away from using it and being disappointed.

With the latest version of this app Google closes down as soon as it opens up. Please fix this ASAP as Google feed is my Go-To for news and other readings. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing works yet. It was working until a couple of weeks back on iOS 12.1 but then it suddenly started crashing.

If we are comparing between things so we have to open lot of websites to see, Why google is not able to give its own information except the websites.

If we find top things or any else so in some things google is good but in finding top thing google is giving different things in the top list at the first on searching on thing at a time with different written words so this is need to fix and to improving more compacting.

Bestest app easy to use for everyone,it’s search and gives the best results as you want just like as dictionaries even though the best... just like those can’t search or don’t know the spelling they can speak n search but need to update a lil bit plss add some additional icon just like camera/photos to take a picture n just search it.....it will be more useful as compared to speak n search

It is one of my most used apps. Customised feed is too good. But I would give 4 stars because the latest update of the app has removed the card swiping feature in the feed. Now you must tap the small button on the top right in order to discard a story. This is inconvenient. I wonder why Google would do that!

Love every bit of it !! Hopefully gets better with time ... currently it's progress is not upto the mark but I think it could be onto something big. This is not where it stops....There's more work needed to be done and use all the help you can get and attain perfection. And then ... Turn your fantasies to realities and live the live you've always wanted....DN😶🙂
