Dear Amazon,
It’s really hurtful to say that you lost a valuable customer today.
And hope so you will lose many more in upcoming years.
In February 2nd week I placed two order.
1:- One plus ear bud.
2:- Solimo bean beg.
At first I got my earbuds. Within 2-3 days it’s started malfunctioning one of its microphone stop working and sometimes the volume gets to much ruptured.
My buds comes under the only replacement policy.
But when I called the customer service executive regarding this matter.
They suggested me some of the regular procedure to check if I am using it correctly.
Still the issue isn’t resolved.
They suggested me to return the product instead of replacing it.
Because the price of the material got hiked by approximately 300 rupees.
They told me that replacement optioned isn’t working, you have to returned it and initiated the refund process. I also asked them how can get my refund back. They told me it will be transferred to your bank account within a week.
But the amount is transferred to Amazon pay account. In which I don’t even have an account or I am registered to.
The customer executive name was (Miss:-Sonali) the refund conversation held on 20/02/2024.
When I got my refund on 29/02.2024. I instantly called to customer care regarding the issue. The call attendee was (Miss:- sohelin). At first I asked her about the refund policy for COD. She told me that it can be transferred to your bank account or with a gift coupon with your approval where you want your money.
The earlier customer executive done a mistake.then,
She suggested me that you can use these wallet balance in Swiggy and Bharat petroleum’s by refueling on their petrol stations.
The mistake is done by us but we can’t process the amount to refund you on your bank account and neither your bank account is registered with us.
You can do one thing you can order something else and cancel it. The amount will be transferred to your bank account. She sent me a link to guide me the process to register my bank account onto you app.
But that process isn’t showing in your app.
I asked for the link to direct upto my account details to your website for the refund but she denied and told me she can’t do that. that’s can’t be done by their hand. She is not aurtheried to do so. I asked the executive to raise a complain against the first customer executive. Why she told me that I will get my refund on my bank account. And didn’t let me know that it’s isn’t registered yet.
On 1st of feb I was paying for my petrol expenses at the Bharat petrolium.
Then I got to know that it is not valid.
Then once again I called customer executive and the response was same. Even they were excepting that the mistake was done by their end but they are unable to refund my money into my bank account. I am bound to purchase with the app or the partner online company which is registered at Amazon pay app.
I asked for senior management consult on that but she refused to connect me to their senior and told me that I have raised the issue to my senior they will contact you within 24 to 48 hours. and while telling me that she was laughing like I was performing a jokers act infront of her.
Her name was :-Karamjit.
Today is 3rd of March I haven’t received any phone call from them and tried to contact them several times but wasn’t able to connect.
As per discussion with sahelin. I tried to order same earbuds and cancel it. The payment transferred to the Amazon pay again.
Once again I tried to contact customer care and told the same issue. She told me that if you buy something from your wallet case it is refunded to the same source it’s in their policy.
Then she transferred my call to her senior and her senior transferred to someone else who’s mail me was Kishore. Who explained me that for my money I have to purchase within the Amazon pay or any other company online which is directly connected to Amazon pay.
Against my will.
Or I can’t use my own money for the rest of my life.
I asked him about the complaint which I have raised but his response were same that I can’t see any updates. I can only see your complaints during your call . Which the call attendee wrote that’s it.
For your mistake I am not going to pay. After while accepting that it’s your fault you samelessly forcing me to use my own money against my will to purchase within your app.
I want my money in my bank account.
If I can’t get my solution here, I have to say that I have to register a complain against your website in consumer court and consumer sites.

Please don’t use this platform to buy products. They are completely a big failure in the country like India. I have ordered a couple of products and on the delivery day the delivery person didn’t showed up and canceled the order without my permission. The fact is that the delivery person even didn’t call me for the confirmation. I have raised a complaint but the customer service didn’t take any measures in delivering the product.
It’s better for us to use the other Indian platforms to buy the products.

Earlier for delivery the expected dates were fix and delivered their products within the timeline. But now on the name of prime subscription they are conning customers… They show next day delivery or in 2 days, and on the delivery date they show “delayed delivery or problems occurred, and if you don’t get your product by this date you can cancel”
and the date it shows is always after 3-5 days.
why are you conning, why can’t you initially mention the date. They can change our delivery schedule according to their delivery agent convenience. They don’t care about customer really at all. Even delivery without coming delivery location and single time not even try to contact customer they can say customer is not responding and cancel our order. Even you paid for your delivery they will take your orders and the order has been delivered. Raising a complaint to customer care calmly says technical your order will be delivered within one day next that to postponed to some other day. Below they give delivery days are not sure. It will longer than that. Sometimes the items will be missed. Same product we order two they will only one. There is replacement or refund. We raise complaints customer care says it’s not our mistake. We are unable to replace or refund. Such scammers.

A very good app, meets most of the needs of the customer in terms of search ( which is excellent) ; speed; tracking; history of past purchases; tracking of orders and many others. However, one small improvement needed ( though not a big issue ) is why the app cannot automatically read the OTP which lands as the SMS. I have been expecting this for a very long time, but disappointed on this small count. This can save time.

While placing a return for the COD order, I am getting an option to get my refund deposited in bank account. However, when I select this option, the continue button is disabled and I have no clue where am I going wrong. Then I realised it was a COD order and you guys might not have the account details to which the refund needs to be done and hence the continue button is not activated when I select that option. I would suggest that please disable this option for COD orders.

My friend ordered a dishwasher worth 45k and it was broken when it arrived, no where it was mentioned that some open box policy is applicable on it, delivery partner also didn’t bother to mention. When she called the customer care they said they sent a mail, and that’s all, one of the mail of other 100 mails she receives every day. For the OTP text also they didn’t care to mention that the customer should ensure that there is no damage in the product. Yes they expect us to check the entire machine for an hour long making the delivery partner also wait to get the OTP from us, a Protocol which was sent by a mail to her and reached the spam. They expect us to check spam also for their valuable information conveyed just through mail. Highly highly disappointed as they don’t get that a major chunk of Indian population barely know how to use Internet!!!

During Dussehra offer, they cheated on big items. Their executive connects the phone (only 1time) at 5 pm and when you call, the phone will not pick. After 2 hours your order is canceled automatically and at 8 in the morning you will get the message of the process of money reimbursement . Today I ordered an item in the morning from my cousins prime account. I was supposed to receive it by 9 pm. It was a prepaid item.
I waited till 9pm and after 9pm it is showing that I’ll receive my item after 2-3 days.
I tried to contact there customer service regarding the issue.
I asked them then they told me to wait till 10pm you will receive the prduct.
So I waited till 10pm and haven’t received the item so I once again tried to contact them. One of their executives named riya started to assist and will having the conversation I received a msg saying “As the issue has been resolved and you are satisfied with our help I am closing this conversation “.
So once again I tried to have chat with another executive he started and said that you will receive the item by 2-3rd October and he ended the conversation.
Is this why we ppl buy prime membership so that our product gets way of the delivery time
And cherry on the top is the customer executives are rude and not helpful and have consistently to end conversation in between.

I am repenting on taking prime service.. twice in last one week my order has been delayed for more 2 days. When I call them they say there is a buffer time of 5 days which is never shown in the application while we place the order. I took prime membership solely for one day or same day delivery but everything is ruined.
For example when I call the customer service the first person who speaks tells me the exact information which is written in the application. When I ask about more details they handover the call to team lead, I spoke Hema, Sonali, Sivanathan who kept on repeating the same think, we don’t have any other details either your order will be delivered whenever we want or the refund will be initiated.

Worst experience purchasing refurbished products.
Placed order for two refurbished Logitech controllers, got scammed! Received one controller that too of different brand which was not working condition. Called customer support and was told investigation is being done. Investigation closed without even informing. Contacted again and same things told again with addition to ‘We can’t do anything from our side as our dispatch monitoring system shows two items being dispatched’.
Lost 4k rupees, Have decided to use Flipkart instead and never return back, no matter what.
One of my friends had similar experience where he ordered PC parts and one of the item was not delivered, he did complain but nothing happened for his case as well.
It made me conclude these don’t have proper system in place for grievance addressable or to check whats going out from their system. Neither does they have a check on the sellers on the platform. Only trusted seller is Appario, to buy from other sellers you have to be lucky enough to get what you order. That’s it ! hope it helps others.

Map location issue

After moving to Bangalore I’m facing this issue.
I have added my new address but system automatically picks a map location that is bit 3-4 km far away from my location. When I allow app to use current location for auto filling correct address still it picks different location from my location.
Delivery partner always follow google map location irrespective what address I have shared. Due to this every-time I need to share my location on their WhatsApp number but still delivery partner not able to mark item deliver on their portal because it can be done at particular location only. Due to this my few delivery returned back.

This is a very irritating bug I am facing for quite sometime. When I search for a product and then click on a particular product it shows the product on the page. While reading the product description on the page, the page goes blank!!! I have to go back and click on the product from the list again. Behaviour is random, does not happen all the time , but it dies happen 20-30% of time. And it is distracting an I loose interest to buy the product. Mostly switch to other Ecommerce apps to search for similar product. I use iOS app on iphone 13 max pro, it used happen on my earlier iphone 7 as well.

This is a total scam. 10 days ago I received a product which was missing from the box and when I contacted their customer care they replied that they need 10 days for investigation and then after 10 days I contacted again they replied that my refund will be processed within 48 hrs and after 2 days they told me that it was a mistake that they cannot initiate refund or provide new product and the customer care representative hung up the call on my face. Total scam I even have the images and videos at the time when I received it and opened the box . I’ll file a complaint for sure and even upload all the call recordings and videos on the social media.

The UI of this application is not good as I thought also it has a very bad optimisation for the user interface. I don't find any sense in the time(1 week) you take to deliver things to non-prime users. Your company is at the stage where you are now because people have STARTED using you. Fine, to show a difference between non-prime and prime users, you may show the difference. But one week is too much. Four days is the right time. If it takes one week due to fast travelling inability, it is good. But, you are deliberately delivering it in a week to force the non-prime users to use prime. POOR BUSINESS TACTICS! AT LEAST TRY TO BE A BIT SMART SUCH THAT USERS DON'T FIGURE IT OUT.

I had recently (jan 1st week) ordered a jogger pant, which was too big for me and got it exchanged for a smaller size. But even that was not a proper fit so I returned it. I was assured of refund within 10 business days. I tried chatting with the customer service, they telling that I haven’t yt returned the item? And will refund 10days AFTER they get it? I have used this app ever since it was launched. The app offers complete end to end processes. However, design changes in the recent months have made navigation very confusing. Earlier it was very simple. The developers have to think of it as a mobile app and not a desktop page. Getting to rewards, recharges, games used to be a breeze. Now one has to constantly scroll and navigate through mazes even on a large screen phone.

The mobile app user interface is pathetic being an e-commerce gaint and such a poor user interface its really disgusting.
To find product of a choice and applying filters on it will take ages and filter options are not available itself like brand names if we want to filter it by it gives only minimal options for brand names and rest of the brand names are not shown at all and every 10 to 20 products should go back to next page.
You can just check other e-commerce applications which are so simple and user friendly. The very best example is Myntra its realy too cool and easy and there options in the filters are simply superb.
You might be the biggest and world’s top most company but sometimes you have to learn from others.

I ordered a product 15 days ago which was not delivered to me even though it was out for delivery. They put the blame on me that address is not correct. They already have delivered multiple products on the same address and suddenly address details are wrong. The delivery guy’s phone is out of reach every time I call it. When I ask to customer support they said it will be delivered to me in 2 days. I waited for 2 days nothing delivered. No proper response from customer support and in last I cancelled the order. Again after one day I ordered same product and same thing happened. Is this how you treat your prime members? Useless membership and not even justifying themselves

The trouble we went through to pay for the products were insane. Every time we thought the orders were placed, the cart would show us the products still in it. After trying for 3 times the payment was done successfully. But when a certain product wasn’t what we expected and wanted to return there was no such option of only return, it was exchange of the product with the new one. Now we have no other go and so gave it for return/exchange. Also the delivery charges are way too high. To get free delivery they ask to buy something above Rs 500. But even after doing so charges are still 230. They again ask u to add a product of 200 to get free delivery …This process goes on but u never get free delivery.

Mistakes in product description

I have noticed there are lot of mistakes or contradiction in product description.
For example :
1.) I was buying Voltas ac and in caption is says R32 and in product description it says R22 refrigerant
2.) was buying UPS, in caption it says 600W, in product description it says 360W
It’s very confusing,
Also, I have seen in question/answer section where customer are asking questions, answer written by other customers are very misleading, can you audit them and take down those answers. I think it’s your responsibility that any info shared on your platform should be accurate and should not mis guide any potential buyer. We have “report” option but still can see lot of wrong answers.
Suggestion: can we have a option added where customers can report a error/mistake and suggest a edit on the page and you guys can correct it after reviewing it.

I had ordered for a book a month ago and on the app it doesn’t show any status of the order.
When called the customer care for 1st time, they said that the order is under shipment and I had requested for cancel and refund. The customer care executive said I would receive an email and a call from the shipment department regarding the same.
There was no call received and when tried to call customer care again it said there are no such orders pending.
There isn’t a proper customer care email to which you can send the concern regarding the same. This has to be the worst service provided in the recent times.

The worst delivery service a customer can get. I’m really disappointed. I had ordered a couple of products on Thursday and the app said one of the product was delivered on Saturday and it says the product was handed over to a security guard when there isn’t one. I called the customer service and they said the product will be delivered to my address or I’ll get a refund. I also mentioned that the rest of the products needs to be delivered to my address and the delivery executive is supposed to call me before delivering the product to make sure I’m home and he needs to deliver the product to me. The supervisor assured me that.
The same thing happened yesterday. The delivery executive never called me. And the app says the product was directly handed over to the security guard. I called the customer service again and spoke to a supervisor and he was least bothered to do anything about this. And I got the worst customer service. He was literally interrupting me every time I tried to talk and was talking over me and I got no resolution.

Rude, bad behaviour, lack of patience, doesn't understand the issue, and tries to tell rules to customers who are well aware of the rules then her! She just doesn't understand her customer.
She was also not even closing the chat, I had to ask her alot to chose chat so that I could contact other customer service. This was my first experience and hopefully last.
I said I am not in Village that refund would take so long, she as being rude said don't define other's living by city or village.. what she knows, "nothing" she just wanted to say it. I live in village as well as in city.. then how can she say I am defining such thing without knowing.
I only meant by the network connectivity.
Instead of being helpful, she was so rude and her behaviour was very bad.. I don't think she is doing her job well like this.

Please stop showing irrelevant sponsored products when I search for something. It’s really frustrating. Showing few sponsored at the top is still acceptable but showing after every 2-3 products is disgusting. Without seeing how sponsored product is and their rating you keep showing them and most of the time it shows products which I didn’t even search. Because of that I can’t even find what I want.
This is not a search engine where you are providing your service for free. It’s a platform where people buy something and pay for it. Show them what they are looking for and relevant to them.

Once I have ordered few things, some items got delivered and some haven’t due to pandemic. I waited for more than a month, still the order was showing as in progress. After sometime neither it was delivered not money got refunded. Interestingly through app I was not able to raise a concern or contact customer care. For more than a month I left the matter thinking that the money wouldn’t be returned. Finally through a weird option I could speak to customer care and got refunded. Hence I feel there are glitches in the app though overall is good

This large company cannot handle pre launch product sales. They take money from buyers weeks in advance of product launch however will not be able to arrange delivery on the date of the product launch or a day or two later. It is better not to pay them in advance and not loose bank interest, rather better to go to nearby mobile shop and purchase it there on the spot, as they get the same product with same offers on the launch date itself. The entire excitement of the new product is lost due to the delay in receiving the product. Very sad system. Even their cust care call centre escalation manager state that they cannot help much and it will get delivered one week after the launch date as it was so mentioned.

I have given an order of a Samsung mobile and an insurance package together to be delivered near Trivandrum City. The insurance package reached on time but mobile delayed. City went to triple lock down from next day of delivering insurance package. Even though it was triple lock down, the package reached delivery warehouse in Kovalam which is outside city. Delivery area was also outside city. I have informed the customer service that consignee can pick the pack personally but unfortunately A to Z doesn’t have that option within A to Z! Finally A to Z cancelled this prepaid order with out asking my confirmation! Superb service! God Bless the Company!

Hi first of all I would like to congrats the team for doing an amazing job in developing the app. It is a very well thought app.
I have faced only one inconvenience while using the app. It is that I have multiple cards setup in my payment option and there is no way to assign a nick name to the card to quickly identify which card I want to use. I always have to see my card and compare the card number to be sure. A feature to give a nick name to the card would be very useful I think.

I don’t know what’s wrong with the app. First of all the UI is confusing, categorisation are hard to understand. But ignoring that and continuing is giving more hard time. I’m not sure how many times I have to enter a New Address to order something. It’s looping back again and again to Cart page. It has happened multiple times whenever I’m trying to order. I’m seriously getting headaches whenever I start using the app. I love the products and other services, but the App is really giving a negative vibe. I know you guys are putting lot of efforts into it, but don’t let it go waste or take the app users for granted please. Kindly try and resolve these, Thank you!
