Very nice app.. just banking and nothing else.. simple to use and navigate.. Touch ID, log off position etc are good.. bank has done good work on UX and I am sure ROX will be high.

This app is so bad I can’t believe that it’s not been vetted before release..
I am a premier customer and haven’t witnessed such a bad banking app, especially by an international bank like HSBC, half the time the app hangs and the other half the features like transfer money doesn’t work..
oh forgot to mention crap customer service..

Finally HSBC released new app but many features are not implemented on the new app compare to old app
Please find below missing features (not complete list)
1. FD cannot be opened using new app
2. Cannot view FD rates
3. Foreign exchange rate

Mobile app should be useful of all the features in internet banking but only HSBC back limit may features in the app. Even HSBC banks on there county app has features of internet banking but India app with limitations

HSBC is finally in modern times and have a good native app. Everything in the app is modern, sleek and more importantly informative. Everything needed quickly and easily available. Glad they did it after so long with their previous app.

I tried all of their numbers which are written on credit card and none of these is working. Finally called an emergency customer care number who gave me another number which is also not working.

Only this the app does is to show transactions history , access statement that too not all and transfer money to existing beneficiaries
90+% of things you can do on website or current app are missing and I am missing the point of this new app! Big miss and fail of an opportunity for such a large bank with an extremely talented technology team doing otherwise some cutting edge stuff

The new app is super sleek and rich in features. One thing which I like the most is that OTP is only needed for registering Payee and not for making a payment to these payee. This is so much user friendly yet so much secure.
I still have all the security features at my disposal like fingerprints validation, at the same time the app so simple to use. Huge step forward!!!

I don’t know how legit are other reviews here but I can say this is the worst service a bank can offer. You have wait for more than half hour minimum and listen to their automated voice message. Once you get in touch they ll move you to another call and that person will also say he/she is transferring the call. The internet banking, upi, gpay nothing works. This app is even more hideous - it will ask you for a secondary password but it will never work. You guys need to understand it’s our money on your account and you need to make sure we should be able to use it as ease. We are not using your money at all that you torture us like this. Banking has to be comfortable and easy and yours is the most worst experience of all.

A long pending upgrade to HSBC Mobile app. Features like touch id are really a plus. Also, doing away with security device is a welcome step. Focus on OTP via different methods instead. Although the features remain more or less the same, good to see this upgrade and hoping for new features now.
A downside is now I need to maintain 2 different HSBC apps for accounts in different countries eating up space on the phone.
