Lumafusion is gud but only if its free other wise no use, I purchased this app but still using free applications for edit coz, No fancy translations, key framing ease in out option is not there, color grading options is far better in VN with nice presets, not recommended so many things are missing as a paid application, if there are any option for refund plz tell me I would like to switch in other application. Thank you.

Color problem, No better transition, layer limits

Hi, I am using Lumafusion for last 9 month. It is easy to use. But I am facing some problem Problems - 1. Whenever I edit color on some clips after that there coming a issue, after edit the color if I use another picture or video on the timeline then the color saturation on the new clip become high without any edit. Red color becoming high. But after checking the color limits I found all are same. Its very annoying. 2. Whenever I download a pic, It not automatically syncing with Lumafusion. I have to switch between photo and video, then it appears 3. There are very simple transitions. For making a vlog video or some interesting video those transitions looks cheap quality. I request you to please add some extra attractive transitions. ( I also used Kinemaster video editor, there are lots of transitions) 4. There are no clip graphic for instant work. Please add some clip graphic
5. I cannot add too many layer in my timeline. For that I had to export a video 2 times.
There are lots of better apps whose are offering more in this price, then Why we should use Lumafusion ??

While downloading a 16gb .mp4 file from my network folder my iPad froze and I had to force restart my iPad. Please suggest if LumaFusion had something to do with this? As I was downloading the video in lumafusion timeline from my network folder at that time.

But I’m forced to write one to help you save your money, because I have wasted a lot of my money on this terrible piece of useless software - for the kind of stuff this is, it should at best be free - even at that, it has very limited set of effects, transitions, etc - You will feel duped from the word go - from the unrefined cheap user interface to extremely crude graphics - this is a total waste!

For the amount charged I had a lot of expectations with lumafusion. The interface itself feels like an outdated app and no special effects or transitions. You can just make cuts and simple editing. Needs a lot of improvement. I regret making this purchase, and got back to editing on my laptop. The team needs to consider giving out free trials before user decides to keep the app - not using anymore and waste of my money. Poor customer experience 😭

This is to bring in your kind notice that I am facing so many errors in Luma fusion and I literally dont expect this kind of errors from Lumafusion app.
• Often I am unable to render my project in full settings like 4K in Extreme, I have to switch to quality(81 MBPS).
• Mostly I use background music in my videos and when I slow down the volume of that music in some parts of video where I have to speak or tell my audience some things, audio doesn’t go down, Literally saying my last 3 VLOGs faced this issue and my audience are complaining about this and I am also not happy from this behaviour.
Requesting you to please rectify the issue and resolve it ASAP. Else I have to switch to other app with a bad experience from Luma fusion.
I spent almost 3000 Rs and it is not a small amount for beginner youtuber.

I am a YouTuber and I create short films and I usually edit on premiere pro on my laptop but after using the luma fusion I enjoy editing on my iPhone and I have edited 10 videos and 50 cooking Channel videos of my mom and it is really good
Best part is stability and preview performance but it is credited to Apple A series chipset
Only problem is -
no time remapping
noise reduction effect
Keyframe ease in and out option andmotion blur
Adjustment layer like in premiere pro
If they bring these features then it is time to say good bye to desktop video editor softwares

Been fighting with this App for more than an hour. After changing the aspect ratio the Frame and Fit tab is missing completely! So I cannot reposition the video clip to centre the subject. Then while fiddling around with the app a clip suddenly blacks out! I can’t view the video in it any more even when it shows on the timeline! and I have no way of restoring the clip with the carefully done edit points…! A simple 5 min edit is stuck for ages!
Might as well go home and use my desktop Video editor app after the vacation is over rather than pay for such crappy software with fake promises of mobile freedom that don’t perform per expectations!

Then recommend me to select different location to export. The app is for basic editors, could you please increase the overlay count to 50 for pic/vid and 50 for audio ? This is by far the best touch app but it is very limited. Puts a stop to creativity due to tool limitation. Could you do something about this ? M1 chip catching dust here !

I am glad to be able to purchase this app and it helps plenty in my videos. Though, after using even the basic free video editors on pc, I miss a lot features. Below are features that I consider the basic feature for any serious video editor that are missing LumaFusion: -Ability to change clip speed precisely without the 6X lock and speed ramping curve. - Ability to export subtitles only and audio only. - Ability create clip groups to add adjustments to multiple clips. - Need to keyframe more adjustments and ability to modify keyframe position too. - Someway to create masks and add effects on particular area of mask. - Creating low res proxy. Helps in previewing project when editing a long 4K project.

My videos original bitrate was 14mbps but when I go into export settings there is no option for 14mbps so I exported it to 16mbps bitrate then I see my video quality is compromised, now my video is looking cheaper than original, in short LumaFusion decreases video quality even when u exporting your video at higher bitrate.
Hey LumaFusion plz fix this, and also add some more quality options like other editing apps.
And also when i exported a 16mbps bitrate video at same bitrate my video quality was compromised.😒

Overall this is a great app but when you create proxy file to work on reversed media then it takes much longer than it should and for like 10-20 second clip it takes 3 minutes to make its proxy file and so it’s a huge time wastage so please fix it it

I was using this app for more than 3 years. Very much user friendly and very easy to edit. Anyone can use this app without any editing knowledge. The app was able to edit any resolution videos with high export quality.
The reason I gave 4 stars is that, sometime while rendering some videos, the rendering had stopped at the end of the completion. At the end of 98% or 99% the rendering will stopped and pop a message saying “Failed”.
Another reason is that, there are some errors and bugs while applying transition effects in the videos while editing and the transition effects didn’t work properly on videos with recent updates.
Clear those bugs and errors on next future updates.

This app become worse day by day. I just-buy this software thinking that it will work well but no. Every time this app gives me a lots of trouble. First just 7 min of video in 1080p 60fps it takes 15 to 20 min to render and sometimes crashes in between the rendering. And after render in some clips it didn’t properly sync audio with video properly. So for this you need to Optimise and consolidate the whole project. Which takes 30-40 min. But now it doesn’t doing it. It just lag and stop optimise and the whole luma fusion just crash. So the video doesn’t render properly because the audio is not properly sync.
So I think I have to buy every time new ipad or iphones to run luma fusion. Right Luma team. I don’t know you gonna read this or not but I am telling you you app just made me mad. Because I have make one 7 min video and my video properly edit but the I am wasting my whole day in just rendering

It’s been almost a year that I’m using this app. I use a 11 pro. It’s quite difficult to precisely move layers and edit transitions or framing b-rolls. But this is the best app that I have enjoyed editing on my phone.
This can cut your cost on a computer. A beautiful application. I love doing things manual, build from scratch and it’s a privilege to be able to use LumaFusion.
PC. Would not suggest for a beginner.

Although the app is very useful and giving us professional PC editing tools in our gadget and but, there is something which I am missing is the Shape. The option which is inside when we add the additional layer for text then click add shape... it shows only few specific shapes.. I wish I could customise those shapes accordingly to my needs...
Hope oneday, I will get reply from the develop and will se this option in future.

Hi lumafusion team! This app is great, but could you add merge down and up of layers? It would help a lot. Also, add pixabay or something like that to the sources so we don’t have to go to safari, then go to pixabay then download it, then finally put it into lumafusion.

I love this video editing software it is the best one out there but i would really love if you include warp stabilisation in it. The only thing that is making this software less than any professional software is the absence of stabilisation. I request you people working for this software to please include stabilisation in it. After the new update importing video on the timeline says “downloading”.Even after the whole edit, I can’t export my file as it says “download on timeline needs to complete before exporting”. Please help, what does this mean?

I wish developer add more transition may be few 3d transition. Also there should be in and out animation presets, i know i can do that with key framing but it take a long time for a simple thing.
Another department is the audio part, there is not any customisations we can do. For a voice over video a noise removal feature is must, doing it with a combination of low and high pass filter does not produce a great result. As of now i have to clean the audio with audacity in pc then i have to move back to ipad which basically put a break to the workflow.
I hope my feedback is taken to implement in the next update.
Good app but some bugs which need to be fixed immediately.

The app is very good and handy.
But since some days I am facing huge issues during exporting my project.
I work for hours on one project and then when I try to finally save and export it show me failure to do so and ask for optimisation.
After doing the suggested optimisation, it results in loss of audio or video.
Finally I have to delete and reinstall the app and redo my complete work.
I keep getting error while trying to upload on onedrive

it’s a great app, but really missing simple audio effect like reverb...which is more useful and crucial for voiceovers or live music than any other effect in its package... please fix this in an update.. i may have to switch to another app :(

I am happy customer of luma fusion. Howevever I would like to have auto synch of external audio automatically in Lima fusion. As the audio synch manual approach has some problems as we cannot move audio between time units it snaps to grid

Any laptop in the price range of my iPad Mini can't edit at this speed. This may not have everything I need as an editor, but it certainly makes editing much faster.

Don't get me wrong Lumafusion is a powerful app. But the dev team are falling way behind. Its been years ever since they said Speed Ramping and Stabilization features will come soon. Seems like they don't really care. Maybe start investing in other apps?

I never thought it will ever be possible to edit video professionally on the iPad but LumaFusion has proven me wrong. I have used Adobe Premier Pro and FCP X on PC and Mac but then doing It portably on the iPad, wow, LumaFusion has made it possible, almost equally functional. It is so intuitive and everything is laid out so well that it feels natural.
The support is also top class. After an update something went wrong, I got in touch with the support team and the problem was resolved in no time. So great App with great support.
No words to say .. such a great app

Very easy to use , feature rich and great performer. I was looking for a professional video editing software and tried many in desktop and iPad. But this is the best I found and it is low cost also. It works perfect in my iPad Pro and I love this app.

I use go pro clips. But often giving errors while trying to save the project even though the clips are not modified using any effects or transitions available in this app. Loss of time. I am planning to switch to some other app
Update.
When I am using optimising and consolidate tab it is working well. The support from LumaFusion is good and they are responding to issues too.
Considering the capability of the app and response from developer and I am now not facing any issues with the app I am upgrading rating to 5

but this app is such brilliance...I can’t imagine an app that so powerful and still simple than lumafusion. I’ve made tons of videos on it and it just never disappoints. There is so much you can do with this app. This is an app that allows for creativity without the need to learn complicated editing. Thanks so much for this app!

LumaFusion is great! I have made over 50 videos these past few months with ease, and my friends are always shocked that my iPad could do so much! Although from editing all these videos I feel like this app lacks one major thing, which is a standard in FCPX.
The ability to add multiple layers over the main track! Right now you can only place 2 more layers, photo/video/overlay titles. If for ex. you want to place 4 overlay titles at the same time, you simply can’t, the only workaround is to export the film with 2 overlay titles and then make a new project and add the other two! Dear, Luma Team if you’re reading this please implement this feature in your next update, maybe add a scroll system to see the other layers in the timeline.

Hello team, thank for fixing old bugs and bringing new features to the app ❤️. Recently, I bought an iPad and wondering how to sync all my projects and app settings from iPhone to this new iPad with same Apple ID. Doesn’t Luma Fusion support iCloud Sync? Do I need to enable any setting?

Recently purchased an iPad Pro specifically for making instructional videos. After reading up on the various choices, I decided to go with LumaFusion. It’s great, like having 80% of Final Cut Pro in a fast lightweight package. So OK maybe it doesn’t have the power and flexibility needed for high-end projects. But within its range, it owns the market. Don’t just think about it, ditch iMovie and never look back... 👍

LumaFusion is indeed the best video editing app on iOS and there is no doubt about it. But some of the features now feel ancient. Especially the Titles. It looks like they are from Ofiice 97. Too old and really bad. Also the transitions aren’t good at all. I frankly recommend you to incorporate the features of VLLO app. They have some neat and really nice ones.
Please include more stuff for free in the Storyblocks, especially music and if possible then video clips too.
Other than these 2-3 things everything else is good enough.

Audio Error/bug Close to a cut

I would like to point out that while Previewing/editing everything sounds good .. but in the exported file ... as i have cautiously followed, if my audio begins close to the cut then initail few microseconds of audio (say My “ Hi “ etc) gets completely vanished ... and over all after every transition effect my video seems to start abruptly with parts missing. My audio setting was 48Khz 1080
However as i pointed out this is heard not in preview while editing ... but in the exported video file or worst as in my case the uploaded video on net :( which i have now no way to correct.
Also this bug is ssen only if i have a very short segment of clip before the cu not between two good length video segment.
Too sum up if i have a short video segment of few micro seconds etc (to have say a spacing in my speech).... next segment will have its initial microseconds audio cut. (Noticed if audio began close to cut)
