Written in 1855, this play is in volume 3 of a 5-volume set, published in 1905. It takes place in Trondheim in 1528, during Scandinavia’s epic dark ages, and is loosely based on the life of Inger, Lady of Austraa, who conspired to attain the Swedish throne.
