This is a story about two cousins who happen to look like twins. One is a dastardly actor who can't be bothered to do real work. The other is a kindhearted assistant cashier who is in love with a beautiful heiress. She confesses her love to him and plans to run away with him the next day, but the cashier falls and breaks his neck, leaving the dastardly cousin to step into his place and claim the heiress's fortune.
