Not only does nothing work well, the things that already work badly frequently work worse.
Most annoying is the inability to consistently remember where I have watched up to. I try to note the time remaining before I continue something, but even then it is randomly off by 15 minutes, or starts from the beginning, or starts perfectly where I left off, but the first time I hit the skip back button goes back to some random part way back in the movie.
I was already mad about the 18 AUD price change from April, and the frustrations I’ve had with the iOS interface has matched my experience with the TCL Disney+ app. It’s the only app that has required me to unplug my tv completely for a minute to get sound in the app back.
I don’t think I’ll subscribe any more so I’ll just watch as much as I can before 17/4 and if there are any movies I really want to see I’ll probably be able to own the 4K disc for $20.

Disney+ is doing it right, they are keeping ads out (negative branding I’d never recommend to a client on a paid streaming service), however, their content could be improved. Good to see Nat Geo, Marvel, FX etc., but more true crime, reality, and movies. All in all, it’s still worth it. They just need to fix their download issue (it doesn’t always clear the cache).
If you’re on a budget, pick Disney or Paramount depending on your taste, if you can afford two, then get both (OnePass with Disney is $2 more but you get Nat Geo, Marvel channels and more, and they also have good deals and partnerships for delivery & discounts with homewares & other Aussie stores (eg Bunnings, Catch, Kmart, Target), so it could actually save you money depending on what you buy regularly. App doesn’t crash either. Besides Paramount, I’d say this is the best value, and if you’re a family or want more channels, definitely OnePass/Disney is for you.

I use the Disney app on an IPad Pro and while the selection of shows is fantastic - I am so frequently frustrated with how poorly the app operates, often when I go to pickup a movie I am half way through watching from the continue watching carousel Disney in alls its wisdom decides to restart the show letting me lose my place. Also when missed a short section or dialogue or wanting to review a section just gone, the 10 second forward and back arrows jump whole chapters at a time meaning I have to spend five minutes trying to find my place once again. I have tried to log these issues with Disney + support however that is dismally poor and never actually been successful in going through the options to speak to a person. Disney + has alot of competitors which seem to be able to make a functional app, why can’t Disney?

Everyone I TOTALLY recommend getting Disney plus. There are so many things to watch, an endless selection, you can never get bored. I am such a huge disney fan so I wanted to get it ASAP. I want to mention, it used to be on the cheaper side but I believe the price rn is valid considering the variety on the platform.
NOW HERES THE ISSUE:
The app is actually so bad. Ok I am exaggerating but its so frustrating that the time I’m up to in a movie or episode is NEVER saved. The website is so much better (websites are not available on mobile btw). It actually saves where I am up to and it doesn’t restart the movie or episode. Yes I do end up finding where I am up to but it seriously is a problem if I am constantly doing this. It is really more frustrating than u think and I hope other users don’t have to suffer.
Feedback/Suggestions:
Please fix this issue. Additionally, there needs to be an option to remove movies/shows from continue watching. I have either finished it or want to drop what I am watching and I just hate seeing it pile up.
Overall I’d give the app 3 stars but the actual platform a 4 stars :))

Disney + is worth the time it takes for me to write a review. Disney + is Awesome, it in my humble opinion is the best pay per view platform I have had the pleasure of watching regularly, I really appreciate the variety of content, and there are NO adds, which I absolutely love, just that fact alone gives it 4 stars in my book, if your paying hard earned cash for a channel you shouldn’t have to sit through adds. I have foxtel on as well, but I hardly watch it because of the amount of adds, they don’t have them throughout a movie, but everything else has just as many adds as free to air tv .. So DISNEY + is the best channel/platform available in Australia, and it’s really reasonably priced, well well worth the money they charge, Disney + is heads and shoulders above all the rest .. I rate it AAAA+++ …

When watching in PiP, the content will play fine until I re-enter the Disney+ app . Almost every time, I’m prompted to re-enter my profile pin and navigate to what I was watching. Additionally, some of my continue watching content just doesn’t appear in the bar, causing me to search for what I was watching and find the correct time I was at before. I extensively use Disney more than any other streaming service but these issues are making it incredibly difficult to continue use. I was hoping in the most recent update these problems would be fixed, it only worsened them, however. I’d love for these issues to be rectified otherwise I will have no choice but to switch services out of sheer frustration.

Disney is literally the best app to watch movies without internet but I get it you might not download movies or shows so you won’t be able to watch a movie without internet so if you download something on Disney that’s the best way to watch without internet.
I‘ve got so many movies on Disney that I don’t know how many I have. Disney is the best way to watch a movie or show.
I go on really long car trips like nineteen hour car trips and most of the time I’m watching a movie on Disney.

This app is a good app. Nice and smooth, good picture and a small screen view when I get off the app. A few problems though. This happened when I was watching the incredibles. I needed a break to go to the toilet so I turned off my iPad and went. Then when I got back to watch the rest of the movie, THE WHOLE THING HAD RESET. So I quickly found the point I was up to and continued watching. The second thing is that bluey is on Disney junior and don’t get me wrong, but bluey is a very popular show in Australia. Also, I wanted to see the censored bits. But there is no bluey, none at all! How could you not have bluey?!?!
Anyway, you have the brains to fix this. Let’s hope this is done soon

I love Disney+ it doesn’t just have Disney movies on it. It also has Pixar Star Wars star and geographic movies but I particularly like the original Disney movies. You might think there’s only a little bit of selection of Disney+ but it’s not all in the main course. If you search up Disney original movies or whatever you want it will come to you and I really think this is really exceptional. I want to say thank you for the creators of Disney+ and the people who have made these movies on Disney+ because without you Disney+ would be nothing. Disney+ isn’t just for one sort of age. It’s for all ages it has adult movies it has kid movies it has more than you think right now, I am watching Alison Wonderland and I particularly think this is my new favourite movie. Thanks to Disney+ if your child has Disney+, you can have a sort of rating that they can only watch like it could be PG and lower or M lower or just maybe you like all the ratings this is great for your kids and also has a safety lock on it too and profiles. I love this part of Disney+ a big thank you for the creators of Disney+. I suggest this app for your kids🥰😘🥰😍

Me and my family are almost always using Disney+!
We watch loads of shows and movies all the time and it’s much easier than buying a movie/series online than finding a white wall or sheet to set 🆙,THAN get a projector 📽️ out to project the movie 🍿 but we still have to connect the movie to the projector!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND that’s much more work than getting the digital device that you’re planning to use to connect it to the TV, then going into Disney+ and searching up the movie/ series then press the connect button!Then because you have done ✅ all the steps now you can watch almost anything you want to watch!
I also love how you can create your own profile picture and your name of your choice!I enjoy it because me and my brother usually have lots of fun picking a character because it’s easy to just scroll down but it ain’t easy to pick which one!!

There is this show that all my friends where talking about and I asked where I could watch it because it sounded really good they all said Disney + and I think I asked around like 20 people where to watch it because I didn’t have it then one I just got it I thought if it was bad I could just delete it I am not lying when I saw my jaw dropped when I signed in it was worth every penny every movie I wanted to watch was just there please please pleaseeee get this app you wont regret it it is worth absolutely every penny (btw the show i was talking about was modern family and please watch it it is so good)

I love Disney+ I spend most of my time on it (watching The Simpsons 🤭) this is why: Great quality, great variety, runs smoothly, loads quickly, big variety from childhood Disney movies to The Simpsons and Marvel. My only problem is all of the episodes of The Simpsons from season 34 are out but are popping up very slowly on Disney. That isn’t that bad of a problem but is just something that could be fixed.

I also am in a family of 5 and we stream Disney all the time and there are never any problems and it always runs smoothly. 5 stars for content. But 3 stars or less for app. Volume is ridiculously low. For Eg. When watching Stan TV streaming it’s at 12 on my remote for clear voices, Disney is at 35! to be able to hear voices clear but when sound effects kick in then I have to turn it down. When casting to a chromecast and I have to pause or stop it always looses where I’m up to. There is no way to scroll/scrub forwards or backwards when casting so if it lost where I was then I have to stop casting, watch it on my phone and scroll to correct spot, then start casting it again. Especially frustrating with the superhero movies that also have an added scene/Easter egg at the end, I either have to watch 10 minutes of credits or do the above routine to get to the end Easter egg. I do like the Onepass bundle deal & hope they keep it. Please please please fix the sound. It’s as bad or worse than foxtel sound!

I love Disney and what they offer. Rings back so many memories, and unites me with the kids in a way I didn’t think possible any more.
But every now and then it glitches.
I have the app on two phones, two tablets, and three Apple TVs. It works beautifully on all but one Apple TV. Occasionally the app willl not open on one or more devices, hinting there is an update. I do that and it’s fine. But with this one device, I have tried everything! Removed it, updated it, updated the Apple TV device, changed networks, changed back, hard shut downs on everything including the tv… everything the help pages, forums and bots tell me to do.
Even in Apple TV app on ‘continue watching’ shelf, I can see what I last watched on Disney on my other Apple devices, but I can’t open it. It makes the open noise, I get a brief glimpse at either a blue black screen or even the video itself… then back to the Apple TV menu. Trying to open the app itself does the same thing. From the App Store, it said I needed an update four times this week. I would do it, tap open from App Store… and same thing. None of My other streaming services have this issue. Just Disney. Driving me nuts! At least it works on every other device I own

I personally think this app is great. When I look for a good app I think of quality, options/variety of stuff and not drowning in ads and offers. Remember… if you aren’t paying for the app, you are the thing being sold. Quality? Yes. Cinema quality and very accessible buttons etc. Quality of film and app in general is great. Options/variety? Yes. There are so many great, famous movies like Stars Wars and Pirates of The Caribbean that you don’t realise are on Disney that actually are and are amazing. Ads/offers? None. Amazing. The price is very reasonable for the quality, trust me. Disney is such a big brand with so much awesome stuff, so having the app easily accessible on any devices opens a lot of windows you know? I set up my Disney plus through the site itself and I went to cancel it recently and it said I had to do it through google as it’s a third party purchase. I never signed up through google so when I log into google using my email that’s linked to my Disney account, nothing comes up. After searching through the help section trying to work out how to cancel when it’s not even showing up, I noticed that all questions similar to mine about the same situation have been locked which means you can’t read the answers or respond. Basically I’m going to have to contact google and Disney to work out why my subscription was moved and how to have it added so I can cancel it. A heap of time wasted for something I didn’t even authorise. I guess the motive is that we’ll give up and just pay it. Not today, Satan.

Everything is quite and fine and convenient except for how the buttons are laid out when u watch things, especially on a phone. When I try to drag/skip some parts it somehow hits the restart button and it’s quite annoying. With the 10+ and 10- directly on the screen it makes the video feel somehow in a way stiff or a bit unusual. As this is my own opinion it would be nice to see a skip episode option as I’m a person that loves to rewatch shows and series but then some episodes that are like recaps I would also have to watch which seems like an inconvenience. Getting out of the video, clicking 3 more times just to skip an episode is quite bothersome to an extent. Like the connivence some other streaming apps/services provide have that more relaxing feel such as Viki, Tubi, Netflix and so on coz they have those more simplistic designs.

Like the best app i love watching shows and movies but like hsmtmts is not on the kids profiles! Im 12 but i have to watch from kids and i know my dad set up the limit to PG and what?? I cant watch my fav show and its pretty clean in general! The show is PG and maybe it could be PG-13 I understand but maybe you should have more detailed age limits so i can understand bc now i have to watch from my dads account and hes on a business trip so i cant even watch it because he has a pin. but really great app just a but confusing for me.
Also my friend told me she used to have disney+ and they said you guys took money from her moms account and charged over $100 for one movie but i think its a misunderstanding but yeah
If you could change this problem by making the age limits more appropriate bc i literally have baby shows popping on my recommendations like having younglings, kids, tweens, and teens and eg G, PG, PG13, M, MA15+, R, R18+ so its easier for everyone else. Thanks!

One thing I always loved about Apple devices is you could use even old devices, even if not as functional or fast! They would still work. This App is an example of a disturbing new trend where when I try to access the app it only directs me to update the App, but when I try to do as directed the App Store says it can’t and there are no other options. We use this older iPad when travelling to entertain the child but now we cannot. Very annoying. Very disappointing from both Apple and Disney that this situation is tolerated. Not good for customers. We do have more modern devices and active subscriptions but unable to do as we have always done and use older devices when travelling. Are these older devices now junk and is this a grab for cash? Very disappointing.

I absolutely love the content of this app, My daughter loves all the movies you guys have and you have my all time favourite shows such as always sunny in Philadelphia, the Simpsons, the league etc.. having said that this app might be the worst functioning app of any app I subscribe to and I subscribe to every streaming app there is. The fact that I have to turn off foreign subtitles every time I use it is annoying but that’s not the worst of it. The loading is terrible, constant intermittent loading bar on the screen.. even when the internet connection is strong and all my other streaming apps work perfectly Disney struggles to even stay on. I do not pay a monthly fee for this constant disappointment and probably won’t for too much longer.

It is a good app, but their still have some problems need to be fix.

So basically I was subscribed the plan and I was use it without problem until I have found out that the content seem not updating very well, e.g. the “911 Lone Star” was already have 3 season and I check on internet that this season is definitely released one year ago on this app I think, but on the platform it’s still only shows 2 seasons instead 3 seasons which I am so sure something is went to wrong and I don’t know how to fix it, so if your the supporters and you see this comment please try to fix this problem. Ok, so I love this. I just wanna put this out there though, I WOULD like live action lion king profiles,but I don’t care about that. I have loved watching the Simpsons and the avengers and amphibia and owl house and finally, spider m-wait. I know there is some legal rights and you don’t own it all, but since Netflix took off spider-man home coming, I can’t watch it anywhere! I know you don’t own the whole rights, but I mean your Disney. You can afford to buy the whole rights. (Edit, ok it’s two months later and they put home coming on disney, and the Toby Magwire stuff AND the Andrew Garfield stuff lol) Also the incredible hulk isn’t on Disney+ and I’m pretty sure you own the whole rights to it, so why isn’t it on Disney+? Also, the kids accounts are a bit weird, like, finding Dory isn’t on them. Like, idk, I love this app though

Really great app but it’s quite annoying when signing in on other devices such as smart TVs and gaming consoles. There should be just a simple login with just using your email and password. Currently had issues trying to sign in on mothers tv so she can use Disney plus but have had issues with trying to get the url sign in to actually sign into the app ok the tv. Also same with signing in on my Xbox because I had to reinstall the app the other day because I cleared the wrong hard drive so I’m having issues with trying to sign if with either using the url or app to sign in. So yeah the one thing I’d like is a third option just to sign into the app regardless on tv or gaming console just using your email and password.

The title content is ok but somewhat limited due to the marvel & Star Wars franchises. The performance of the app is absolute rubbish. In TV series, it does not maintain what episodes you have watched & starts at any random episode in any season. Also, after 3 episodes of a season, it just stops playing the series with no option to keep watching. Just turns off & you have to manually select where you are at because of the first problem. So, limited but watchable content (unless you are a kid) & rubbish performance, I think the money I spend would be better redirected to 10 litres of petrol considering something in the budgets got to go. There aren’t too many updates for this app either so I guess Disney believes it’s good name means it doesn’t really need to offer an app that is as user friendly as Netflix or Stan.

The app has a good selection of movies, tv series and documentaries. However, just tried to watch various films and some tv series like ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘WestWorld’. Only to find that the brightness levels are so low it render them all unwatchable. I thought Netflix was the only one that had these issues. However, Disney+ is as bad if not worse.
If I had to pay for this service (it came free with my broadband subscription) I would have already cancelled my subscription, like I did with Netflix.
My advise, don’t bother until they figure out how to make their service bright enough to watch. Which will, if Netflix is anything to go by, be a very long time in coming. After all, these streaming companies are expecting you paying for a premium for an unquestionably ‘substandard’ service.

This brings back so many memories from when I was growing up. From watching Toy Story or Cars with my brothers and sisters and cousins around the lounge of my Nana’s little house on Christmas Day while my uncles were cooking up a barbecue on a 35° day, to now, watching some of the latest Marvel and DC movies and series’. I’ve added lots of shows from Nat Geo to my watchlist and also some movies. The only thing that could make it better would be if there was an actual tab at the bottom of the screen where I press it and it takes me straight to my Watchlist. That way it makes going to my Watchlist so much quicker and easier. Thank you.

Love the shows but there are some glitches

Disney Plus gives us so much for the kids and the adults. As a streaming service it’s become a must have for us.
But the app itself is a tad glitchy. If you stop a show part way through it doesn’t always save the progress. If you binge a series it will often only show the initial episode watched as having been seen. So it can be a bit frustrating get back to your place. We often watch with subtitles to keep the sound down but half the time the English titles are actually Chinese. Sometimes We’ve even had Chinese subtitles over top of the English subtitles for part of the show.
Some of the kids show are mislabelled so you can’t access them through the kids section and have to go through a grown ups page instead to watch it (Moana is one example I can recall being missing from the kids login when we tried to find it, but that was some time ago so hopefully they’ve been fixing these hiccups).
The organisation of shows is pretty good to navigate overall but weirdly it doesn’t always show stuff that we are currently watching, which you think would be the top line to help you resume viewing. And it can take a little bit to figure out how to find what you want.
Mostly Great shows. Fair app.

So you know how you can like put it in a small screen and like play while your watching with Disney if your doing that it won’t go to the next one by itself in the small screen, Where as with Netflix tbh I like Disney better but with Netflix if your watching in the small screen thing it will go automatically to the next episode I want Disney to be able to do that because I love all the shows there but I just like wish that it will be able to do that you know? There’s another thing when u watch something and u put captions on it like changes the words it’s not the same as what it’s saying for a example I was watching and the actor said “point of view” but the captions said “viewpoint”

App disconnects account all the time

The content of the app is very good, but the app itself is so bad that’s hard to believe it’s a Disney app. The app automatically disconnects your login and once you try to login the first time an error message shows up. So you have to close the app and type everything again. The app on the playstation doesn’t show you a list os episodes of a show your are watching amd in case you want to go back or move forward, you can’t simply click on the show to continue watching and choose another episode. No, you have to find the show - not on the list to continue watching - to them open the episodes for you to select. Not intuitive at all.

I am absolutely disappointed in Disney for the fact you have to pay per movie for Premier Access. This is absolute price gauging. The fact you can go to the movies and pay $10 versus $36. Yes you can watch it over and over again and then the movie is eventually released to all, but that doesn’t really seem fair that each movie costs $36. Premier Access should give you continued access to exclusive content. There should be one flat fee especially because you are paying the standard subscription fee per month ontop.
This is a flawed system and has left me not feeling “magical” in any way.
The fact that other streaming services release new movies for free as a part of their subscription - this is just an absolute flaw in the product and is bad member experience.

All thou there seems to be a lot of shows, after a while you begin to notice a loop of the same 30 to 40 shows looping around,
The app does not seem to be capable of remembering where you last left your show and resumes from the very beginning, thus if your watch a 3 hour Marvel movie and needed to leave it, it will reset back to beginning.
Possible improvements, recommend shows and movie that are at least similar, stop recommending items that have already been viewed. Give people a feature that allows them to dislike item and stop it from reappearing in recommendations list. Give everyone the chance to clear Continue Watch list plus the ability to pick up on a movie or show where you left it last.

Lots of great content, however there is many glitches, with updates once a fortnight you’d expect a lot of these glitches to be ironed out, none of these glitches are on Netflix, sure Disney+ is fairly new but it’s pretty underdeveloped, in a web browser the video is often missing, if I’m playing through my tv using a hdmi adapter the video pauses and forces you to exit the movie and re enter the movie just because of a notification, and the support is just dreadful, it’s nice having all these movies together but these glitches just don’t make me want to convince friends to subscribe to Disney

When the app was first launched I was not overly interested as it did not have movies relevant to the family. This all changed when I saw what was on offer with Star. I readily downloaded, subscribed and then chose my shows to watch offline. That was where my problems started.
The App will close unexpectedly, the pic in pic option often does not work and my pet hate is when I am part way through an episode, stop and then when I return later (be it 2 minutes or 5 hours) and click on continue it goes right back to the start of the episode. Infuriating doesn’t even begin.
So whilst I love the content the application itself does not work as expected- it is not my phone. I have checked all updates, connection etc.

The content is great, plenty of things to watch. However, the fact that you have to sit through 5-6 mins of credits before getting to the next episode of a show is frustrating. If you manually skip to the next episode, the previous episode remains in the continue watching list at the credits. It should load the next episode a few seconds after the credits start.
And it is quite slow to load. If I need to go in and rewind a couple of minutes, it takes several goes for the time bar to register that I am trying to move it. I have a new device, and other streaming apps do not have this problem.
Really simple things that need to be fixed, and it would be a 5 star review.

Been loving the content that’s on Disney plus for months now but really disappointed with the app itself when it stops working on the tv, doesn’t load on my phone and continues not to work via the website itself and is just a black screen. Went onto live chat to get some help with them continually telling me I don’t have a subscription when I’ve had one for way over 6 months now. They then ask me if I can log into my account on different devices, which I can’t as that was the original issue..., they proceed to end the conversation as they cannot locate my subscription and I’m left with a paid subscription with no solution and no access to Disney for over a week now. What a waste of money with no help and solution in sight. Please sort out your technical issues Disney !

Please fix watch list ABOVE 50. I like collecting films in my lists, but this one seems to have a cap and removes them. Pls fix. I will forget about them and not watch! Or spend time!
HELLO PLEASE FIX WATCH LIST! I added all my favs in there and now they’re not showing up. And I don’t want to add anymore as it will apparently remove some. No fun. I like collecting and going through it all adding things I like. And the ones I like have disappeared!!!
Please also have an internet browser! I just ordered a new laptop from Apple and it comes in 2 weeks and it won’t let me update my ipad to support the Disney app! (I haven’t updated in awhile as it takes forever)! It is making me consider getting apple tv to watch on my projector.

Okay Disney it’s been a year and you still haven’t fixed all the little issues that make the app quite annoying to use. Please please please fix all of these:
1. Resume viewing. There exists a continue watching section, however when clicked on, the movie/show you were watching will begin from the start and NOT from where you left off.
2. Next episode. Only online does there exist an option to go to the next episode once the episode has finished. On the app you have to go back to the title and select the next episode. No option to skip between them either.
3. Skip into/recap. The button is there yes but if you don’t click it after a few seconds then it disappears and you’re stuck watching the recap or intro.
4. The sections. Under each section is listed always the exact same titles. For example the “New to Disney +” and the “Disney + Originals” have the all same titles under them except one. You should probably have the older Disney originals there so they differ.
5. Continue watching 2. Most of my titles under the continue watching section have less than 4 minutes left. That is because the movie/show is over and only the credits remain. You do not need to keep every single movie I’ve ever watched on the continue watching section because there’s 4 mins left of viewing.
Surely it’s about time to step up your game.

subtitles and “continue watching”

the app is great but i have some suggestions.
The first is to make the subtitles more accurate. I’ve noticed that the subtitles sometimes get rid of some words, or even whole sentences.
The second is to automatically remove movies from the “continue watching” row after the movie/series is obviously finished, after you’ve left the “screen” (eg when you leave the screen and it’s only the credits and there’s no extras or when you leave the screen after 5 seconds of watching the credits). It just really bothers me seeing movies and series i’ve finished watching still in the “continue watching” row, even when there’s only credits left, as it can get a bit unorganised after some time.

With older devices like mine, aka(iPad Air 2) can sometimes take longer to respond and to load. When I was watching a film it froze. I tried to click the home button and power button for 1 whole minute, then it crashed. I go on my iPhone 7 and it works just fine, everything is perfect and goes smoothly but the problem with my iPhone 7 is that it has a small screen. That’s why the iPad is a better decision to watch on, but it keeps crashing! Compared to Netflix, I watch nearly everyday and there’s not a single moment it crashed. Netflix and Disney plus are nearly identical apps but with different titles and films. I hope that Disney plus should work and perform like Netflix and other streaming apps. Other than that great app and great movies, it was worth the buy!

App is pretty good and catalog is extensive.
One thing that has been frustrating us is that none of the short titles seem to support automatically moving to the next episode. When the kids are watching this means I have to be poised to hit start every 5 mins to get to the next episode. This seems limited only to short titles (2-5’ish minutes).
Like a lot of other users comments i’ve seen it would be good to get a ‘resume where you left off’ or ‘start from beginning’ prompt when you select a title to play. This results in us often selecting a title to watch and the title starting from the ending credits meaning we either have to back out and find the title by some other means to play from the beginning or rewind through the entire title to get back to the beginning. A ‘start from beginning’ option in the menu while playing a title would also be good.
Really this stuff is all just teething issues, but they do detract from the experience, especially when it’s young kids that we have the service for and using it starts to become an inconvenience (eg. having to manually start the next title in a series of short films at short intervals)

Disneyplus is absolutely amazing with all of its wide range of movies and easy to use system. Especially with so many options and movies to choose from when you’re from Australia, is so much better. So far, it is really good and hoping many greater things to come. Even for them to stream 29 seasons of The Simpsons says a lot about this apps amazing capabilities and functions. One thing however that should be fixed, is that every time I rewind or fast forward a movie, a loading screen comes up and I can no longer pause the movie or rewind/fast forward. please fix this issue. Love the app.

Heaps of bugs!

Don’t get me wrong, Disney + has some GREAT content but it is not a great app!
For starters, was watching a TV show on one account, but when I switched to another account for another family member to watch, the audio from the other TV show kept playing! The same thing happened when watching something on the other account! Now, whenever we go onto Disney + on that particular device, we can just here audio from other shows playing!
Also, often when I go to the continue playing section, it hasn’t updated to where I’m up to and I have to go through the episodes to find where I am up to. There are also some Disney shows that doesn’t seem to show up when I search for them (e.g. Mighty Med, A.N.T. Farm) which is very irritating!
Another major issue, is that whenever I fast forward or rewind, the loading symbol just appears in place of the play/pause button, leaving you no way to pause for the rest of the movie/TV episode! I really expected better!
There are many good movies and TV shows on the app, however PLEASE fix some of these bugs - they are EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!! Compared to what I’ve seen on other streaming apps, I definitely excepted better from Disney.

If your family is anything like mine iPads and iPhones get handed down to the kids when they can be upgraded. This app not working on IOS 11.0 and lower and not at all on the internet had us rethinking our purchase of a subscription. ALL our kids iPads and iPhones are old enough that they can’t get IOS 11.0 so now our sole reason and what would think is Disney’s target audience can’t use it. If Apple and or Disney can’t swing something we will be done when it comes time to cancel and we will go back to watching what we can till Netflix and Stan lose their Marvel and Disney content. Very sad that someone high up didn’t think this through before releasing it as an app only subscription and only on devices with IOS 11.0 or higher. For the record four iPhones and four iPads so we can’t afford to replace them ALL just to get Disney Plus.

The User interface is really messy, hard to find what your looking for. I made a profile for my kids only to find half the kids movie don’t show up in their profile... even kids movies like “ home alone” so that feature is a wast of time. Now my kids are using a normal profile where everything shows up not what I wand and not what I expected from Disney!
You should also know that Disney + only works on 4th Gen and up, Apple TV’s. so if you don’t have the latest you’ll be watching on your phone or iPad, that’s not fun. I’ve tried using airplay to my 3rd Gen Apple TV but that only works intermittently which is super frustrating. The end of the story is I really only signed up to watch Manderlorian, I got up to the 5th episode and when I try and watch all I get is a message saying “oops something when wrong please try again later”
The feedback options in the app are joke, the perfect example of incompetence.

Though it has a great catalog there is a lot of issues with the app it self like how if you exit the app sometimes the option in which it allows the movie or tv show to continue playing outside of the app doesn’t happen and when you log back into the app the progress you have gotten into the movie or tv show is gone (e.g. if your 30mins into a movie and you log back in it goes back to 0mins). Overall Disney+ could be the best streaming service with just minor gripes which needs to be fixed👍

The content is great all my childhood favourites right at my fingertips but, Being a new app there is bound to be some issues. It would be great if there was a continue watching bar that allows you to pick up a movie or series where you left it. It would be great if there was a recently added bar so we can see new content as it’s added. The issue I would love to see fixed is the watch list. I have added a whole bunch of movies but my watch list doesn’t display them all but if I search the movie it says it’s already added to my watch list. Also the content that does show on my watch list is doubled so movies show twice. If these things could be added/fixed I would definitely rate 5 stars.

There is some really great options on there. As the platform is still new of course there is still many more titles that can be added. Not being able to continue watching a show is a little bit annoying but I’m sure that’s a feature that will quickly be introduced. I love that I can have a profile for all members of my family as Netflix and Stan are limited on only five profiles. Being able to choose icons is amazing. I’d love to have an option to see upcoming additions like Netflix so I know when a new movie or show is added and when it comes out. The option for a yearly subscription is perfect. Looking forward to some of the new marvel series.

Just like many others viewing this app, my childhood was filled with amazing movies and tv series from Disney. Now that my wife’s due in less than 2 months. Disney+ could not have come at a better time for me. So keen to show my son the same spider-man series shows that i saw growing up. Oh and that’s not just it, there are literally all the Simpsons episodes ever released. I know,right? Exciting. But what you haven’t read yet, is that there is also every star wars movie ever on it. Seriously this app is a no brainer. The quality that i am getting on my tv with ps4 is 1080p60fps. There are a few 4k options, but i am sure it’s only going to increase. 5 stars without even thinking twice for Disney+ and a very high recommendation . A must have for families with kids,teenagers and students
