One can see they are striving hard to improve upon their app. The only disappointing aspect - they offer the option of COD for Instacart deliveries, even when their customer support maintains that Instacart deliveries aren’t offered with COD option.
On a side-note: When using Smart Invert, images’ colors are also inverted. It’s a bad app accessibility practice and I hope the app development team fixes the issue with Smart Invert, by only inverting UI elements except the one with images of restaurants and/of menu items.

What kind of an app doesn’t let a user update their address after making an order? A stupid kind. And Swiggy falls under this category. Whenever I put a different address than the one I’m at, customer support is completely helpless. Neither can they update the information on their backend and nor can they find a way to fix this issue. I completely agree with all the customers who have given one star as it is not possible to go in minus. All the utter garbage praises have been posted by Swiggy themselves. Swiggy completely washes its hands off any responsibility after taking hefty commissions. They are indirectly encouraging restaurants to send spoiled food or to skip sending items by having this completely negligent attitude and caring two hoots about their customers. Of late, repeatedly I have been receiving food that has gone completely bad, or substituted with some other item or with items missing. And after already being harassed they harass you further by asking you to send emails which they will reply after four to five days in which they will shamelessly tell you that they completely understand (understand what? that they are Perfect Rogues), that they apologise!! and they will ask you to review the restaurant. How long do they expect to survive with these fraudulent dealings. I have been facing so many issues with swiggy for so long. Finally i have decided to review it here. They constantly try to hide their incompetence in optimising order delivery and/or their delivery executives by blaming the restaurants. But every time you call the restaurant after the chat executive has blamed rush at the restaurant, the restaurant invariably tells you the food has been ready for a while but nobody came or the wrong delivery executive took etc etc.. not a unique occurrence either . Easily happens dozens of times every year. Not only is their customer service totally useless and is only able to give you delayed information many minutes after automated app updates/notifications, but both manual and automated messages also lie about the original delivery times a lot. Sometimes they just add 10-20 minutes to the original delivery time at the time of your complaint and don’t even bother giving false excuses. One example of their false excuses is their inability to get in touch with the restaurant or the delivery executives involved even when you are able to contact them by calling the numbers provided in the same chat .

where do i even begin with my love for swiggy? as someone who can barely cook and always craves something delicious, this app has become my best friend. not only does it have a huge variety of cuisines to choose from, but the delivery is lightning-fast and always on time.
one thing that always makes me giggle is the little notes that the delivery person leaves with my food. i’ve gotten everything from cute doodles to hilarious jokes, and it always puts a smile on face. plus, the fact that they're able to navigate through crazy traffic and still arrive with a smile their face is nothing short of impressive.
and can we talk about how cute the app is? i love the little animations and graphics that pop up when i’m ordering, and it makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. plus, the app is so user-friendly that even my technologically-challenged grandma could use it.
all in all, swiggy has become my go-to for whenever i want something delicious and hassle-free. it’s like having my own personal chef and delivery person all rolled into one. and with their constant updates and improvements, i have a feeling that my love affair with swiggy is only going to continue to grow.

Fraud customer service. The entire order is missing and customer support did nothing. They asked me to write to email support. Thee-mail support replied saying they couldn’t support the claim and neither issue refund, however they would share feedback to restaurant, which is totally senseless. Long time user here from the early days and Swiggy one subscriber as well until recently service was good but now completely lost goodwill. I pay Swiggy one but for past few weeks not able to order anything as delivery partners are not available in the same location where I had no issues with service for past one year! They take your money in the name of subscription Swiggy one but you will not even be able to eat! Another interesting scam they run is instantly where they jack up the prices only for you on items that you frequently order check the same items price from my wife's phone at the same location it's half the price quoted for me the item being capsicum! So we have been spoiled in the name of convenience and taken advantage of buy these companies while our food consumption from outside home has also taken a hit better to take the bitter pill and return to ourselves going to restaurants and supporting local grocers than these greedy clowns called Swiggy. Be ware ultimately no one apart from ourselves are really interested in our well-being and health. Swiggy should consider rebranding themselves swindle!

My recent order was place at 2:59 am and at
4:22 pm it was not delivered. The delivery partner did not want to take the order and neither want to cancel the order as he would be penalised. As per the food guy, the delivery partner was not answering the call whereas on your app it shows he reached to the location to pick the food which is false geolocation displayed on your app!!! You guys are fooling people.
My order got rescheduled twice with additional time added showing that the food is still being prepared in the app whereas it was ready from 60 mins but your delivery partner is an idiot and unprofessional fellow.
Your customer support chat took 16 minutes to appear after raising the issue and in the meanwhile i cannot find any option in the app to report delivery partner absconding from the order! After connecting on call with one of your support, she was offering me to take the food by arranging another delivery partner but sont you guys train them not to push as it would be 2 hours by the time food will arrive? She kept insisting whereas she was asked to cancel the order and issue a refund!

I am absolutely furious with the terrible delivery service provided by Swiggy! The delivery agent claimed that my address was 3.5 km away from his location, when in fact it was only 2 km away. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue with customer support, they were completely unhelpful and even suggested that I cancel my order, which would result in me losing my hard earned money as there was no refund on it. It's not the first time I've ordered from Swiggy and the location was the same as my previous orders, which were delivered without any issues. It's shocking that Swiggy can't even manage to deliver the same address consistently. I was left with no choice but to send my husband to the delivery guy's location to collect the food, which he confirmed over the phone. However, when he arrived there, the delivery guy was nowhere to found and my husband was left waiting for him to come to my husband location. This level of incompetence and lack of accountability from Swiggy is completely unacceptable. I expect to receive prompt and efficient delivery service when I order food, but instead I was left with nothing but frustration and disappointment. I would strongly advice anyone considering using Swiggy to look elsewhere for their delivery needs, as this company clearly does not value their customers or their time. I will never use Swiggy again and will be sharing my terrible experience with everyone I know.

Long time user here from the early days and Swiggy one subscriber as well until recently service was good but now completely lost goodwill . I pay Swiggy one but for past few weeks not able to order anything as delivery partners are not available in the same location where I had no issues with service for past one year ! They take your money in the name of subscription Swiggy one but you will not even be able to eat ! Another interesting scam they run is instantly where they jack up the prices only for you on items that you frequently order check the same items price from my wife’s phone at the same location it’s half the price quoted for me the item being capsicum! So we have been spoiled in the name of convenience and taken advantage of buy these companies while our food consumption from outside home has also taken a hit better to take the bitter pill and return to ourselves going to restaurants and supporting local grocers than these greedy clowns called Swiggy. Two days ago I was looking for a dish opposite to my work place it was quoted 250 rs with 75 off while I well know it costs only 160 in the restaurant and I went there and had it in person instead of this algorithm regulated fluctuating price often seen with Swiggy these days. Be ware ultimately no one apart from ourselves are really interested in our well-being and health. Swiggy should consider rebranding themselves swindle!

On 24 Sep,22, I had ordered 3 plates of Chicken Strips through Swiggy, with a coupon applied of Buy 2 Get 1, which adds up to ₹435. (₹145 each + taxes = ₹503 under normal circumstances). I had also added a plate of french fries, making the bill after the discount to be ₹477. Now, other than the french fries, of the B2G1, only 1 item was delivered, and the rest 2 weren’t. Swiggy did not honour their end of the deal and send me the 2 plates, which I repeatedly requested their executive and supervisor of. Then they only gave me a coupon of ₹224 for 2 plates (₹112 each), whereas, with taxes 2 plates cost ₹351 and 1 plate costs ₹208.
I do not know what sort of mathematical genius found out the formula, but I must say that this is nothing less than forcing the customer to pay for the mistake of Swiggy or the restaurant.
Have been a long time customer of Swiggy, mistakes have happened on Swiggy’s end in the past, but right now I can’t understand how they are giving me a coupon of ₹224 when the total comes to ₹290 without taxes and ₹351 with taxes.
I do not know if Swiggy will resolve this. But if this is the way to treat a long standings customer, then I have nothing to say about where this is heading.

The only good thing about Swiggy is the insta mart and genie other than that the food delivery section is the worst. The delivery partners are arrogant and will not deliver the food. I have had multiple bad experiences with the delivery partners. Incident 1. They do not want to deliver and asked the restaurant people to talk through the delivery partners phone and say they are out of cheese, and “which is the restaurant?” You may ask its Pizza Hut (imagine Pizza Hut out of cheese) when I made the same order from the same outlet in Zomato, magically they had cheese and got the order delivered. Incident 2. When most of the family was quarantined and my mother was the only one who could go out and recieve the order, they refused to give the order to her even though we instructed them to give it to her and this trashy man had the audacity to cuss at my mother for it. Incident 3. Again an episode of the delivery partner not wanting to deliver the order, he went 5km away and when we called him he said he can’t come to our location and then constant calls from swiggy saying we gave wrong address. Swiggy cannot find a house if it is right under their nose. The worst delivery partners and the worst experience. Zomato is a much better bet for Cochin.

Swiggy is not delivering properly as well as has no cooperative delivery people as well as a bad customer support who did block my cash on delivery option for swiggys own mistake. Even though i have entered my exact location and a proper manually typed address the delivery boy went to a wrong location and was not willing to come back to the right location even if it was in the range of half a kilometer. Thereafter the customer support said they will block my cash on delivery and some other options they told about how it will be unblocked through some payment. That means from every side they are bringing the customer in loss and proving themselves correct even though its their own mistake. Isnt it their duty to call and confirm the customers address verbally on phone? Cant they follow even such a small etiquett. Also was the delivery boy sounding as that of a drunk person. What he spoke was so much in a slippery tone that no good person will understand it in one thought it took me morr that three times to understand what he wanted to say and it was clearly audible that he was drunk. Dissappointed. I will henceforth never order on swiggy. Thanks for your bad sevice.

I have ordered Roti and chicken curry in lucky restaurant . Curry was Sour in taste not fresh they just heated and packed. Tandoori roti was too burnt . I bet no one will eat that food even if it get for free of cost. I raised a complaint with Swiggi and they told it will take 6 hrs to get back with the issue. So i ordered biryani from another restaurant it was ok . Support team responded to me after 5 hrs to just inform me to rate hotel. Why should i rate hotel..? I paid to Swiggi not to hotel if i have order with hotel then I would have asked them to replace my order but I ordered in Swiggi. I attached a pic of roti along with my issue they were telling after evaluation of pic . Please tell your address I will bring that to you will see how you eat that. Do business but not by fraud with customers. This is happened before also to me and same answer got from support team after 5 hrs. If I did not open my mouth it will continue that why I am raising this. Please serve good food and if restaurant are not providing the quality food remove them from app. We are spending so much At least fulfils our hungry. Don’t ask me to send mail and you guys look-into it . It has done already. Thanks for the service you provided till now.

Order delivery delay no notification on the app

I have faced a stream of delay orders (5-6, and even today with my lunch with a restaurant within 3km) where delivery partners are not assigned almost 45 min after placing the order. I have called in several times to the help desk and request them to do manual assignment of a delivery partner. The app shows “higher demand than usual” on the app but doesn’t trigger any notification to backend team to do further assignments. I have also provided this feedback if there is a delays there should notification sent to customer even the allotted time of the food is not picked up, customers cancel the order attaching a screenshot of no delivery partner assigned till then.
The impact of the gap of the app not triggering any notification and backend only gets to know when a customer calls results in cold food getting and starving cos the same order cannot be cancelled.
Please generate a backend queries where delivery partner gets assigned within 20-30 min of order placed or the backend team show see an alert on the system and does the assignment.

I have been using swiggy for a few years now and have had some slight issues. But I never wrote a review as I am an average citizen with my own concerns. There have always been small issues and i kept on ignoring them. But I just cannot restrain myself today. Swiggy offers membership. I took it. It was amazing in the beginning just as promised. Discounts were as promised. Delivery was as promised. But once their algorith realised that I have been using the scheme, which I paid for, too often the discounts were reduced, the price of the same dish from the same restaurants increased. The offers that were visible to others weren't visible to me even though I felt, yes I admit that I was not told, that I would be looked after since I paid extra for their premium service.
And today I ordered a veg dish for a veg family member and found a non-veg dish when opened. The complaint response is automated and its a robot. One wrong click and as far as this company is concerned, voila, your complaint has been resolved. The person has slept hungry. And I feel sad, embarassed and most of all angry. Angry at swiggy or myself? I don't know. I guess both. At swiggy for cheating me or myself for trusting them knowing fully well that it's a business after all. And businesses don't care about their customers.

Pathetic services… I ordered from KFC and the ETA was 45 mins.. after 40 mins it was showing delivery in 12 mins.. after 53 mins the ETA was showing 15 mins… so I called the delivery person as the location as still showing KFC outlet..he never picked up.. I called up customer care and after much waiting was told the delivery person’s bike was punctured and it will take atleast 25-30 mins in delivery.. I requested to assign another person for which they made me wait another 10 mins and then told me there is no other delivery person available and I will have to wait… so I waited.. this does not end here.. after 20 mins I opened a chat window for help and there the person tole me that we will deliver in 20-25 mins… like are you serious.. for an order of 1 burger and I fries I was asked to wait and wait.. so I requested to please cancel my order.. now that I my kid had to eat so I ordered from McDonalds.. which showed delivery time 32 mins… and guess what my order was delivered in 1 hour 16 mins… swiggy services are simply going down the drain… please order only if you have time and can wait for more than 80-90 mins for a delivery… ZOMATO IS MUCH MUCH BETTER… PATHETIC SERVICES… AM DELETING THIS APP FOREVER

So apparently Swiggy has this policy that we can cancel under a minute for free. I placed an order for the wrong address at 3:13 and immediately raised a chat to cancel the order at 3:13 ( I have the proof) but the bot asked me to connect to an agent and while I was on call at the agent wasted soo much time, like sooo much and spoke like a BOT! And by then the restaurant accepted the order and the delivery boy was on the way. And then like a bot- he kept repeating you’ll be charged and I understand. Are you serious?? He wasted my time and obviously it was 5 minutes till then and he kept harassing me to pay for the cancellation. How is it my fault??? I had raised a chat immediately!!
Worst and inconsiderate customer support. Forcing me to accept the order when I had clearly mentioned it was placed at an wrong address and I raised a chat to cancel it immediately. Extremely stupid behaviour. After that I raised a chat and Sandip from the team was numb and acted like a bot too.
LEVEL UP SWIGGY! Change your under a min policy or ask your agents to ask faster and smarter!!!!!

Using swiggy is like receiving incomplete orders, broken packaging, lose of money, incompetent and useless customer support which cant help in anything, and useless app which asks for time when trying to report an issue. Swiggy even makes the customer do extra work by making them write mails and making the customer follow up on an issue caused from their side.
Pathetic customer support and pathetic service. Received incomplete order multiple times and even broken glasses of juice, and when tried to report in the app it asks for 6-10hrs and then the case is closed. No updates from swiggy neither can’t talk to a customer care representative. When tried to connect and explained the issue they tell to write a mail. I don’t understand whether i took the payed “One membership” to increase my work. Even after mailing customer support team tells that they will see that it wont happen again and close the case. So whatever amount i put into items I didn’t receive is gone.
Very nerve wracking experience with swiggy which continued happening again n again n again. Better stop using swiggy which gives their customer extra works to do as a punishment for using their service.

I ordered an item from a restaurant only because it showed available. I paid it online. Then later it says sorry the item is out of stock. Now I didn’t get mad because this was the first time it happened. I got mad because the same thing happened 4 times now from the same restaurant. I complained about it to swiggy when it happened for the third time and as always the USELESS customer service said “ Ma’am we apologise and understand your issue we’re so sorry we’ll never let this happen again”! And guess what it happened again. How frustrated will you get after you keep on paying online for your order for the 4th time only to know that it’s out of stock? If it’s out of stock then why even show it available? Not only do deserve a refund but also a compensation. And another thing. Swiggy’s always always late for it’s delivery of food and never once have I gotten my money back for receiving my food late and cold. Once even got a food item that was stale. Literally STALE the food was. Never got my money back even for that. I swear I’ve deleted the horrible app now. Will never reinstall even if swiggy compensates me. It’s trust what’s required now to take a risk for Swiggy.

I have placed a order for 432 rupees after 30min a customer agent calls me and tell me that that order would be delayed for 5 to 10 min! Then after 15 min another agent calls me and tells that they want to replace the order as their sla was breaching! I agreed with then as they promised me a delivery time of like 20’min. After the order was replaced i waited for 10-15 min no delivery agent was assigned again and the delivery time was showing as 40min. As it was getting late i asked the customer agent to cancel the order and they promised me a refund with some coupon of 432 rupees! And I agreed to that! And now they gave me coupon thats fine but they are charging me a cancellation charge of 432 rupees!!! How fair is this?. Even then i called a agent and explained him about the situation the told me that the cancellation charges would be removed! And it would take 24 hrs! Its past almost 72 hrs and now when i have called to customer agent again he tell me that the cancellation chagers would not be removed! Y would i pay for some mistakes on your side!? Swiggy is getting the worst to the worstest every day!!!! And the customer agents!!!! My god the most arrogant customer agents!!!! Wish i could give negative rating to this app!!!!! The worst app to order food from!!!!!

Swiggy riders are worst

Recently i placed a prepaid order from swiggy. The delivery guy didnt even call and after one hour i checked my order status it was showing it has been delivered. I called the delivery executive and his response was “ aapne phone nhi uthaya to mene cancel kr diya “ but he didn’t cancel the order instead he kept the order and updated my order status to delivered. When i threatened him that i will file a complain against him he said arrogantly “haa krlo complain swiggy wale kuch nahi karte” after contacting customer support i got my order. This is not the first time i faced this type of situation with swiggy
Few weeks back a delivery executive refused to come on my doorstep and told me to come on my society main gate. When the rider called i told him he has to come from another gate this door is locked but he was making excuses and i had to go to collect my order. When i met him at the main gate he said “ order cancel krdo jitne ka order hai usse 100 rs kam me dedunga “. Like i dont know about the cancellation i have to pay if i cancel the order even after paying for the order. Every time i order something from Swiggy issues like this
Swiggy please take serious action against this type of riders until then i am gonna uninstall this app.

Y’all deserve an award for being super consistent at messing up deliveries, the reason I stopped using the app and switched over to Zomato was the numerous payment bugs that kept occurring where my account would be debited but the app would not register the payment and not place my order, this happened over 5 different occasions, of late there’s a new kind of issue, orders get placed and after that there’s no delivery for over an hour since the orders have been placed, this is after receiving a notification that the partner has left with the items and is on their way. No communication from the partner about why the delay or even when they might arrive.
On one occasion the customer support staff called me up and said that the order had been mixed up and the wrong delivery partner had left with the items, the support staff asked if I would be okay with a replacement of the same order, I said I was fine waiting a bit longer for the replacement too, but 5 minutes after the call ended I get a order cancelled notification and refund without any intimation or reason as to why it was cancelled.
This and many recurring occasions where they cancelled orders without stating the reason.
Totally done with this app, coming back expecting changes was a fools errand.

Delivery boys don’t follow home instructions

They never use map to follow and when they are given instructions its a whole another headache it takes 10 minutes to reach nearby location which not even a minute to reach from the location but it takes another 10 mins to give them proper instructions i don’t understand one thing if i can follow delivery person location on my app or website why they cant do the same and sometimes with pay pn delivery they ask to do online payment I really don’t understand this concept if i want to pay online I would choose that option when i am placing the order and why would i ever want to listen when excepting change like keep the money like I don’t ever give tips and certainly don’t like to get a tip its like 2 rupees and i have to eat my food in shame and some time they don’t look the house number and choose to check 3 -4 house if its a right household I really don’t like to share information about what I eat to my neighbors

The user experience on this app is terrible. It always detects my home address whenever I order. This one incident was just awful because it selected an old address when it came to the bill and sent my order to that. The delivery man told the person that “it is from my name”. And they thought I sent it to them where as I ordered it home. And then when I call the number the chatbot gives me after like a million years of waiting they say they can’t do anything about it because the person accepted the delivery. Well if it’s prepaid and they are made to believe it’s a gift from me by the delivery person (like seriously) Why would they?! So this whole thing about can’t do anything because it’s not an active delivery is stupid. And then the chat person gives me the delivery guy’s number. HOW WOULD THAT HELP?! Like honestly you guys need to train your staff better, improve the overall ux of the app and be prepared for different situations. Honestly going to use Zomato and Uber eats and scoots from now on!

I have ordered my breakfast at 12pm and the waiting time was 30 mins. I checked the app to see where my items are and it showed that they are delivered already. But I didn’t receive any. Then I called the delivery executive and he told me that he delivered the order and he delivered to some other address. When asked, he said that I entered the wrong address and he delivered at the same location what I gave. How the hell on earth I can give wrong address of my own house? And how are the other delivery partners are delivering it right? When I reported this issue, the support team said that they delivered at the right location. Calling and confirming with the customer before delivering the item is minimum common sense. But the guy didn’t do it either. And after calling him n number of items, he delivered it at 1:30. By the time the items were cold and bad. Regardless of wasting one hour of my time, you want me to eat that food ana spoil my stomach? Also the customer support service is so bad that they won’t listen to your problem, neither they try to understand it. All they can offer is a token of 100 rupees as an apology for wasting my 401 rupees and one hour of time. And this isn’t the first time I’m facing this disgusted service from Swiggy. I don’t understand what’s the meaning of having such a big firm when you can’t handle your customers. So very disgusted and annoyed with Swiggy’s service.

These Guys are so pathetic and unprofessional bcz I have ordered at 1 in the night and they supposed to deliver me in 30 mins after 45 mins when I saw the rider didn’t even picked up the order I called the restaurant and the person said the rider haven’t came to pick up this happened after 45 mins so I talked to the customer care imagine what they say the guy said they assigned second rider and something happened so the guy can’t deliver bcz of some technical issue and they assigned the third one and this one will take 35 mins more and I was like seriously?? ....... on top of this when it had been 1.30 hours I said now I want my order bcz m really hungry obviously and along with the food I want my compensation and the person said they will give me coupon of INR50 I mean seriously at this point I was so disappointed and angry first of all they made me wait for their own fault mid of the night and then they were trying to help me like this and horrible part it’s almost two hours I haven’t got my order till now and they are not ready to refund my full money this is how they help there customers so plz don’t use this horrible app they guys are pathetic

I don’t know whether it’s delivery executive’s who has done this or the restaurant, but I have ordered a drink with the sub from subway but didn’t received the same. As order was taken by someone else who was not aware what is in it, so he didn’t ask about drink. But when I saw that, very very disappointing, last time the order was misplaced and this time it’s missing. And now instead of calling to the executive to provide the order these guys are giving me coupan of same amount, I mean what the hell I am going to do with this coupon, will this coupon going to feed me right away. Seriously guys, if I wanted the money instead of item then I would have not ordered it. Even when I complained about it, responses were too late, and even after that the customer support executive said that she can’t provide the product, only she can help with the coupon. So whosoever is going to order from swiggy, just want to tell them that go for coupons, because they don’t give priority to your hunger, what’s important is fake apologies by coupons. Worst experience, happened twice in same week, but from different restaurants.

Your app covers up late deliveries somehow, by delaying the response in app and then showing delivered on time. This is a form of cheating. Also your delivery boys always get delivery address wrong. Zomato never happens this way. Makes me cross. You guys will do nothing about improving service. Too much time lost in chasing orders delivered late. Most restaurants are now resorting to deliver direct to customers as you take their profits to run your App, while we customers are also losers. You guys believe that we do not notice all this? Restaurants have resorted to cheating customers by raising prices and reducing volume of food in innovative ways. One restaurant in Bangalore in your App have us food that had been watered down and very low volumes on food quantities. Soon, we customers will get smarter and not order on these Apps. Matter of time fir sure. I will be in relenting on attacking and exposing restaurants that cheat. Recently I took down a well known Chinese Restaurant in my area. Exposed their cheating tactics.

I have been using this app since 2014 when I used to stay in Delhi. They used to give me a call if the order is getting delayed by even a minute. Today I am in Hyderabad and I see the service has gone to maybe less than zero. It hardly matters for them if their customers are at loss. Today I ordered something from some xyz restaurant and it seems the item was not available or may be they never had. But it was nicely listed on Swiggy. The delivery guy calls and informs that there is no such items and was waiting for me to cancel the order for more than 30min and called me approximately 3 times to ask me if I can cancel from my side. I was trying to chat with some human who can do the needful however I couldn’t. I received a call from some lady called shweta who keeps on saying sorry sorry. I now feel why foreign companies in our country get so much appreciation like ikea or anything because they give priority to customer not the product or loss. Because at the end of day experience matters. I ll never use this Swiggy rather I ll pay more if that’s what needed but very much dissatisfied with the service. I hope our Indian companies do better.

UI keeps changing every time!

I’m a regular swiggy user who is also a UI designer, who orders everyday for my everyday meals. I absolutely love the app and it’s service. But I don’t know why the UI designers are so restless that they have to keep on changing the UI!? It’s very disturbing to the eyes and I feel lost whenever I see the new design updates.
One small request to the design team, please don’t keep changing the UI when it’s already good. Why to change and dabble when the users get comfortable with the UI and suddenly confused! :( coming from my experience, it’s just not good practice and it makes the users feel lost. If you need to add a new feature it’s fine but then changing the original design features again and again is just not working for us and is demotivating.
Otherwise I’m all in to use SWIGGY because of its increasingly customer service and my experience with it has been super comfortable !

Pretty messed up app with really bad customer support

Placed an order for the first time thru Swiggy, applied the discount coupon and paid the amount. Later l, received a call that one item is unavailable and needs replacement. Item was replaced and Swiggy removed my discount coupon and updated the bill. And yes of-course the order was delayed. Now I have to open chat sessions multiple times to get my money back. Customer support people don’t even bother to read what you have mentioned. They even asked me to show some proof that I had entered any coupon even when this was my first order. After multiple chats I was able to get my OWN 100rs back as a coupon with limited time validity and which can not be clubbed with another order. I got a call from Swiggy that additional 200 rs coupon will be credited but that never happened. Part 2- I placed another order and try to use my OWN 100 Rs money coupon plus more money. I again get a call that item is not available and needs replacement. I am not sure what will happen this time because last time issue is not yet resolved. Also if I cancel the order then my coupon will be again lost. So take people money, don’t deliver stuff, convert money into coupons, then finally remove coupons and keep the money. Shame on Swiggy.

Taking Advantage of Pandemic, Worst service

Worst service ever, they are taking advantage of pandemic, since people don't want to go outside. This company sued for this. I ordered 2 juices from Doctor Juice restaurant, They deliver juices in glass bottles, The delivery guy reached the location and found out one of the bottle got broken. When i called him he said, he cannot deliver this, and he will contact customer support regarding this. He went away without delivering, and order got automatically cancelled, but there was no refund. When contacted customer support, they offered me coupon of 50% value. Its their fault, they are accountable for delivering, since they charge for delivering it (through subscription model or direct charges), They should refund or replace the items in the order. So in summary, they didn’t deliver what I ordered, and stole 50% of my oder money. In the past they always refunded full for spillage kind of situations. Now They are taking advantage of pandemic, they know people will have to use their services to avoid covid even though they steal by this way. If anyone has compulsion to use Swiggy, make sure you use COD (with covid precautions), so they cant steal.

I complained to support on a good 30 minute chat on how for some restaurants customers are charging higher on swiggy than offline. Swiggy did absolutely nothing to refund the amount even after showing proof of the same, kept saying their general T&C line about how swiggy is not responsible for the higher online price and how they have really taken my feedback seriously to improve their services. Fact is they are well aware of this scam and as a customer, you have no clarity on which restaurants are cheating you like that and which ones are genuinely charging you correct price. Swiggy doesn't want to give a clarification upfront, and you will see how they respond like a bot to this review to forward concern to an email address which they will not really action on except apologising for the pathetic experience. To even think i liked swiggy enough to be a Super member, never again.

Ordered at around 9pm and didn’t receive order till 12am. Tried calling the delivery guy many times but the he switched off his phone. When raised with Swiggy they still chose to check with delivery guy at around 12:30am in the night if the order is being delivered. The guy as usual was not reachable. After 20-30mins they finally choose to believe me that order is not being delivered and said that I’ll get a refund in 7 working days! Are they serious ?? 7 days ?? So basically a customer who’s already troubled, without food at night has to check her bank account for the next 7 days of the payment has been transferred. So much uncertainty from a company like Swiggy!
Second order today. They debited amount of Rs. 801 from my account and chose to confirm that payment failed after 10-15mins of payment. With this they also confirmed that payment will be refunded To me in 4 days?? What’s with you guys and your TAT of refunds to customers ? It should be Instant if not asking for much. Obviously I did not again made the payment on Swiggy and had to choose Zomato to make an order. Cannot give benefit of the doubt to a single company over & over!

I order the cake for my friend with address mentioned in the address column but by some technical error in the Swiggy app it captured some other locations.
The delivery boy call me up and told the location allotted to me differentFrom the location which you have mentioned here now when ITalk with the customer care executive he said we can’t help in this and the customerHave to bear the penalty costWhich is the full amount of your order and now I am going to cancel your order and paid amount will be forfeited and I continuously right to convince him that neither I have written the address or not but that executed really don’t want to understand the problem of the customer instead of saying continuously I am going to cancel this and the amount will paid by you only after sometime when I realised that he’s not going to help me out in any way message sorry sir I will manage the things by myself please ask your delivery partner to deliver the key on the same place where the location is been appointed to him.
Highly fed up I’m never going to order anything from Swiggy pause will never resolve the issue they always impose the penalty to the customer only mainly in the case where you paid the advance amount for the order.

I have two payments successful one is 557 and the other 191 and it’s been 2weeks swiggy is saying that he did not receive any money I evn hav proof of payment successful in gpay. I never thought that swiggy is such a cheater..if this happens within no time you will have to shut down your company.. I have no option in just sending emails n there is no correct response as well..by chance one of the associates contacted and asking me to get some charge back request from bank n bank is saying the payment is successful and it’s with swiggy they even raised a ticket and sent me tt id I have mailed that id to swiggy as well till now no response from them. Why do you cheat customers like this.. it is not fair on you..I’m unable to attach images here if there is a option I would have attached.. I can even go legally by showing the proof it is not a matter of money it is matter of trust n respect u have towards customers..what if I go ahead and file a case on this..n ur customer care associates are too worst n rude..I want my money back and I want you people to change your attitude..same thing happened with zomato as well but they refunded immediately though payment is successful n order is not placed..

Today I order some food from Veer G chaap in Ghaziabad from this Swiggy app, few minutes later came to know what I order restaurant is unable to make it and Swiggy people calls me up about the same and offered me to some alternate options from the same vendor but I refused to do so, then again they have offered to refund my money but when I said i didn’t made this order to get canceled and even so then refund all my money to my source account as do not use Swiggy wallet (what they have insisted to do so). In alterations to it they have offered me to a custom made coupon for me of the same amount what I had paid for the ordered, I said yes and given consent to the fro the same but moment later I came to know they did create the coupon but not of the total amount rather some deduction were there. When I object to it then they replied it can’t be change now and you have take it and have to use it through Swiggy only with in 30 days of time. Further I request to them to cancel all it and refund my whole paid amount to my source account only then I got a reply it can not be as coupon is already made.
This is the first ever time I used this Swiggy and felt cheated in all the way .....On my order...on my coupon and on my refund. Fraud People Fraud App....

I thing Swiggy’s operating cost mainly constitutes customers money taken after not delivering the order. My last 3 orders, 1 grocery and 2 food items were all cancelled and money was not returned immediately. Swiggy must understand there’s a reason ppl order online and that is because they can’t or don’t want to go out. Swiggy has taken my money 3 times in a row and not delivered my orders. They say they’ll return the money after 7 days which defeats the purpose of ordering now and it is really insensitive to people who cannot keep purchasing while their money is with Swiggy. If the shop or restaurant is closed, then that should be communicated before hand and not after taking payment. Customer service is no better and a spoon is more useful than them. Absolute garbage from Swiggy. I had to come here to give this review as I cannot do so in the app as the cancelled orders don’t show up. Very smart Swiggy. I wish I could give a rating lower than 1 star.

I have been a regular user of swiggy for a few months .. and have started facing soo many issues with the deliveres . The issues started with late deliveries estimated time is 30-40 minutes it takes them double that too at night when there is no trafic at all.. then it gets worse the deliveries get cancelled i start getting calls in every second delivery that the driver met an accident and cannot deliver the food and then i place again and then again the same issue and here i am waiting for my food from last 2 hours and when it finally comes it is all soggy and inedible .... today i got an issue when i payed online i didnt recieve my food and the app says its delivered and the delivery executive doesnt pick up the call then i called customer care and i got a replacement order and guess what happens after half an hour of the order i get a call that the executive cannot deliver we are going to send another executive and will take us half and hour more ... I think swiggy is getting too linient with its services .. i have no option to switch to other apps cause i am getting these problems regularly now. UNINSTALLING SWIGGY

The worst app for food delivery.. Initially when they launched the app it was good. And immediately they started serving their customers really really bad.. I faced so many issues with this swiggy they deduct the amount but do not deliver. After applying the promo codes they do not give a cashback... To be honest I feel they’re just cheating their customers and not serving them. I ordered today by 11:20 and since that time it showed 31mins for the delivery and it’s 12:20 and the customer support replies me by saying “sorry for the inconvenience but there’s no delivery boy and you’ve to cancel your order” after I paid the amount already and after the amount got deducted they want me to cancel because there’s no delivery guy... At the least they could do is arrange a call apologise and credit the money back but yeah why will they even serve their customers they’re totally fraud. The worst they do Is they’ll tell you to pay and not deliver and they do not even credit the amount so you can understand how they cheat!!!! The worst app ever!!!!!! Don’t install this app!!!!! If it was in my hand then I would rate them -10!!! Literally very disappointed by Swiggy!!!

Very disappointed with the delivery service , had placed an order today at 6:21 pm and till 7:26 pm there was no communication from anyone tried calling the restaurant but number provided was invalid and the delivery agent who was about to deliver the order was not answering the call after trying many times he picked up and said will be reaching in 15 minutes, in continuity I received a call saying the vehicle of the agent is not working can we cancel the order to which I preferred to get it delivered by some other agent to which they said other delivery agent will be reaching in 30 minutes till that time it had already been 7:40pm. I was waiting for my oder meanwhile I received another call from Swiggy agent saying that the order got spilled by the delivery guy can we cancle the order or re-order for you. This time it was heights of things getting delayed i asked to get the order replaced ,agent said I’ll get back about replacement of the order and after sometime when i got the call i was informed that the restaurant was closed 👏🏻👏🏻
After waiting for so long this is what i got. Highly disappointed with the service’s and lack of communication from swiggy i have to sleep empty stomach all thanks to Swiggy 👍🏻

Pathetic drop in service

I have been using swiggy from past 5 years. When the started this service they use to be No.1 and ahead of their competitors. Slowly I have been seeing their drop in their services. Today I have faced the worst situation in my life with swiggy. Late night deliveries has become torture. Delivery executive will not respond properly. Today one of the delivery executive started acting saying ur location is show as X (but it Y) so I am going there and he started acting like he was not able to hear and talking to the next fellows. When I took this to the support team they said they where not able to reach the executive we will cancel this order but there will be 50% cancellation chargers. For what I didn’t wanted to cancel the order ur executive did it but for that why I need to pay 50%. So many time’s these delivery executive use to bring the food in so improper way. When I order through McDonald’s the coke will be spilled all over the bag. If u order from Madurai idly sambar will be all over the packets and inside of the containers, my Kesari bath became sambar bath literally. But for this they will only refund 40-50%.
Finally I am going uninstall this pathetic service provider.

Never ordering from swiggy ever again. Testing the patience to different level. Better go to the restaurant and get the food yourself which is better, cheaper, faster and hassle free. First they overcharge the food items when asked they simply say the prices are fixed by restaurant. I personally asked restaurant who said swiggy forces them and falsifying prices on the app that goes straight to swiggy pocket. Second you won’t get your order on time especially in Bangalore. Once delivery guy told me to come and collect your order like half km from my home. I asked why and he stated he is in another restaurant and if I come and pick up there he will deliver more orders today. He was like take it or leave it and I will deliver only when I can. Third the same food if you eat or go to restaurant tastes different than one comes from swiggy. I think restaurant also play a part and selling all their leftover food on swiggy which they cannot do to their walk in customers. Four delivery charge is exorbitant and on top of that packing charges too. Almost makes up 35% of your food price.
Never going to use this again. Hungry? Drive and get yourself. Not worth it ordering here.

This is third time with Swiggy.. had issues earlier too and they keep chatting for hours with automatic response messages without having any resolution. This time I ordered corn n peas sub from subway Malviya Nagar and their delivery guy delivered a non-veg sub .. spontaneously I reported this to Swiggy customer care and subway Malviya Nagar outlet and ultimately found out that this problem concerned with Swiggy delivery and they keep chatting with me for almost 50 mins and closed this case saying we vl b alert in future but can’t compensate now neither can replace my order... my family is highly religious and pure vegetarian we even don’t allow relatives to smoke or drink in our house but this event has broken out trust and we feel cheated and harassed by Swiggy’s response . Who in this fast world chats to resolve any matter ?? And in the end they (customer care agents) don’t have anything to help consumers.... I should go to consumer court for this. I wish this app and their owners and their harassment executives feel this helpless and cheated in their life almost in every situation....... bye Swiggy ur time in market is about to end ...... ZOMATO is much good and concerned about its customers vl recommend ZOMATO TO EVERYONE around me and might find time to promote on my behalf ..... I had wasted my 2.5 hours full of harassment before writing this ... and in the end it’s their third time 🤬

Been using swiggy for months and the past few times I’ve encountered delivery executives not been assigned and a 30 minutes order becomes almost 50 minutes. But the bigger issue is the customer executives are not available or just give generic responses with no solution.
Once a delivery executive didn’t move for twenty minutes and the customer executive spent almost 10-15 minutes to just figure out why he wasn’t moving and to assign another delivery boy. The order took more than an hour ten minutes for a nearby restaurant. Despite me expressing my helplessness and frustration there was zero cooperation from the customer executive. It made me delete the app and I was very close to posting it on social media. Especially since there is just no way around it to lodge a complaint.
I’m not sure if swiggy is just getting lax because of its successful run or just plain blind to the offers and success of its competitors. This kind of attitude is what leads to competitiors overtaking a business.
Nonetheless, I’m highly disappointed and will not change my review or rating unless I see a marked difference.

I was a regular user of swiggy. Now what has happened with me. I have really scared of ordering anything from swiggy. I had a craving of having a delicious breakfast from swiggy. My husband ordered 2 club chicken sandwiches for both of us. First they took almost 45 mints to deliver, that was okay for us but when we opened, we found they have given only 2 cucumbers and lots of mayonnaise that’s it there was no chicken nothing. When we have complained about the same to swiggy they said they are resending the right order. But the same story repeated, they have send that same sandwiches with cucumber and lots of mayonnaise. Then they said they have already send the sandwiches so neither they will resend the order nor they will refund the money. We had no other choice but after so much of drama we had Maggi at our breakfast at 1.30. What I have realised they don’t actually care for their customers neither they understand the fact that they have opened a such a business that needs lots of accuracy of time and they should deliver the exact food which we have delivered.
A big thumbs down to swiggy. I am closing this swiggy app today.
Thanks swiggy for giving your customers so bad services.

I live in Bhopal, where just recently around 5 days back swiggy started its services. On 20th October 2018, when swiggy wasn’t even operating in Bhopal. I get an email saying that my order has been successfully delivered to an address in INDORE. I haven’t created an account and there was no confirmation mail sent to me. I contacted swiggy customer care to bring this issue to their notice and was promised that they will get back to me in 24-48 hours but it’s been almost a month and there has been no reply from swiggy. To top it all now when they have arrived in Bhopal, I cannot create an account as my email address is already registered and I haven’t even created the account in the first place. Their support number doesn’t let you speak to an executive unless you have your number registered. I have faced trouble with zomato in the past, but their customer service more than made up for it with their quick response timing and chat feature which makes it really easy. Was expecting better swiggy. I am not going to use swiggy after all as it seems if I were to ever face any problem with my order, it’ll take two to get resolved with the kind of customer support you provide.

Food not delivered but got charged

I ordered food on Swiggy on 21st Sep’18 at around 9:30pm and got a call within 20 mins from delivery executive that food has arrived till then everything was fine but once I reached at my office door to collect the food it was for someone else’s at the same building. That guy did not even bother to check what he was delivering and to whom. I took the order and realised that it’s not that what I order and asked the executive where is my order till that time he tagged my order as delivered. He simply said me that it’s my first day and I am not aware where is your order as I have just got only one order. It was such a silly response and till next 2 hours I tried contacting Swiggy customer care over the call in which I could not succeed as no. was busy all the time. I even called the vendor even he did helped me with any information. At last I got a representative on chat and still didn’t get any resolution as he kept on saying “ sorry for the inconvenience. On that day I was doing night shift and was relying on online food order which turned out to be such an pathetic experience as no one from. Swiggy was ready to take any responsibility at last I reached home at 2:00 am and had food and Swiggy lost a loyal customer. Could have made my worst experience a lil better however they refunded my money which shud have not been credited at first place as nothing was delivered.

Within 2 months i have ordered more than 96 times that i find with some q/a from swiggy. I wont say all my experiences are pathetic.. but recent times , all my orders yeild very horrible experiences. For ex, its 3 times they send me spoilt food and twice i dint complain and once they refunded immediately after complaining.. then i received food that i havent ordered.. again swiggy did helped.. but the scenario in my home during these incidents were like 2 wil eat and one have to wait anothet 1 hour for their food to come.. so its never a happy dinner .. then last experience was even worse .. the delivery guy kept calling from the shop to know where my home is . Clearly he dont know any landmarks .. i asked him to follow gps and he get lost and drive 2 kms away from the direction gps is showing 🤣.. then i suffered 20 mins to explain each and every road to get my food which is completely cool and imperishable!! Today we as a family went to resto , eat hot fresh food with out the torture of talking in phone for hours or receiving different order or stale food.. it was fun .. i decided not to use swiggy at any cost and deleted the app.. this msg i wil forward to everyone as an eye opener.. even afyet 1000 complainys, u guys diddnt solve anything

So i placed my first order at 11:49 and the delivery guy called me after 10 mins to inform that the restaurant has been closed and you will have to cancel the order, so i asked him to cancel my order and he informed me that “WE DON’T HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO CANCEL THE ORDER “ okay so i cancelled the order but i was charged cancellation fee on my next order, it got the issue resolved in next 25 minutes (on 2 calls) and out of which, i was being on hold for 15 minutes, so when i placed my next order at 12:22 am and i called the delivery executive to give him some tips for execution and after few minutes ( at 12:44 am) i was informed that the restaurant has been closed and you will have to cancel the order, and I refused to do so as they have wasted my 1 hour on 2 different orders and none been delivered. So after discussing with the person from Swiggy on call, i refused to cancel the order,but they cancelled my order but as per the words of the delivery guy, you don’t have the authority to cancel the order so how come my order was cancelled, and this behaviour is not appreciated at all, and i will have to sleep hungry due to your silly mistakes. I have wasted 2 hours and i was promised a callback in 10-15 mins, and I haven’t received any callback. Is this how you treat your customers ?

SCAM : We take money but we don’t refund

So my order was delivered yesterday and it was spilled all over the places. My delivery executive was kind to raise a complaint that food was not delivered properly. He said that someone from Swiggy will contact you, but no one did. So i tried to contact from my side. I sent the image of the food along with full description. Customer care said they are really sorry but they will try to redeliver the order but as it was going to take another 45 mins minimum so I asked them not to do so as I was hungry and I went outside for dinner.
So I thought they will refund me as it was not delivered. by today morning nothing was done so I again contacted the customer care. The best part was they think everything that happned with that order was fine and no action was needed from their side.
They again asked the image so I asked them to refer the old one that I sent and asked when I will receive my money back. They said they will give me a coupon of 225. I paid them more than 280 and they will refund me 225. So they again offered me coupon of 300. I don’t understand if I paid you via my account why cant you return back to my account. What will I do with your coupon. So till now they have digested my money without giving any service. On top of that they also know that they have not provided any service and they will also not refund money. I will see you soon in consumer court.

I have been a daily user of Swiggy for the past few months now !! However of recent it’s delivery time and the condition of delivery has fallen !!!
Case 1 Once I had ordered a pastry and it was delayed in delivery and when I opened the box the pastry was all over the box !! When I complained the sent a replacement which was in a worst condition than previous one I showed the executive he said talk to Swiggy Customer Care !! They said they will send another replacement for which I could not wait any longer so they said they will call back !!! No response till date !!
Case 2 once I had ordered a full course North Indian food from a nearby place !!! The order was again late and this time there were items missing from m order !! When I called Swiggy they said u need to pay the full amt now we will send a replacement for the missing items !!! I am still waiting for the replacement !!!
Case 3 once I ordered from subway and waited more than the 30 mins for m order when I received the order I got a message saying congratulations u got ur order within 30 mins!!! I was like don’t mess with me now coz it was lunch time and I was desperately waiting for the order !!! Now this time when I called they said sorry for the inconvenience we will call u back !!! I was like hell yeah !!! Not waiting for u any longer !!! Sm tms I feel that I have waited for call back more than anything else in m life !!!
Sorry done with Swiggy !!! U have competition now that serves on time !!!
