Tesonet is a useless and unreliable VPN that provides a false sense of security. Re: Developer Response - Repeating your lies doesn’t make it anymore true. If you’re looking for a top notch VPN service which is extremely necessary in a country like India then look no further. You have the choice of multiple servers including plenty in India. It allows browsing of Netflix / other streaming websites which some of the other VPNs don’t. Speeds are pretty high with NordLynx even to servers of nearby countries. The only concern I have is the high pricing but guess you have to pay for a high quality service which Nord VPN gives.

I purchased Nord VPN. In a few days this gave me trouble ... kept disconnecting randomly, and every time I noticed this, I would reconnect manually. Selecting auto connect did not help ... I faced the same issues. Since Nord VPN does not have a try before you buy option, I had to pay up front. After contacting customer support (very prompt), they asked me to send some details and provided steps I should do. No luck. I had also asked for a refund to which they replied they refund customers as long as the app was purchased less than 30 days. After only 3 days of unsatisfactory use, when I requested a refund, they said they cannot refund my money because I purchased from apple store and that was apple policy!!!
Since Nord VPN does not offer “try before buy” option, I recommend people not to buy this expensive app and get cheated like me.

I was charged for a year subscription automatically after 7 days free trial but subscription was not activated after payment. When contacted they ask to contact Apple. But Apple claim payment failed. I’ve been charged full subscription amount for a year. I contacted my bank and they assure me payment is gone through and the same is reflected on the bank statement. So be careful. You might get charged but neither Apple or Nord will take responsibility. You will just lose your money. I don’t know whose fault it is, Apple or Nord? But my money is gone.

I was quite happy with the app until ios 13.6. It was fast, connected immediately on cold start and was very good on battery. But come ios 14, the battery stats show NordVPN eating up way more battery than it used to in ios 13. ios 14 is already notorious for battery issues, but in my case NordVPN is the one causing shorter life. Please fix.

The only reason I got nord vpn is for hot star so I can watch football, but hotstar app as well as the website on browser both blocked nordVPN, I was planning to go for the three years plan but I think will cancel before the free week ends. I have emailed bordVPN, followed instructions given such as clear cache, turn off location, reinstall hotstar and turnoff cybersec etc etc. nothing worked. Anyway I am just one customer trying to use hotstar.

While switching servers the app will randomly terminate the connection and log you out, exposing your traffic to the ISP.
You then have to log in again and the app will create a new VPN profile on the phone.
What use is a VPN app that touts absolute security when it cannot even maintain a watertight connection?
After you start browsing or performing transactions online you realize you’re off VPN and it’s too late but then.
App cannot be trusted for absolute security.

I cancelled subscription but even after cancelation it shows active in status as I didn't want yearly plan but on sign up I wasn't allowed to select any other plan and now I'm stuck with costumer support to process my request and in order not to get charged I had to delete my payment info which in turn needed to cancel all subscription so I had to cancel my free yearly subscription of apple TV + so after a trial I'm getting possibility of yearly charge without any use and cancelation of my annual free subscription of apple tv+ great work.

Hi,
After using NordVPN for a month, I got a year long subscription. That was a mistake.
Even though the service works fine most of the times, it has one fatal flaw. It logs you out of your account and let’s the device connect to the internet without the vpn.
The app randomly logs you out without any notifications. I have gone hours without knowing the vpn was not connected. The problem exists on the iOS app but is even worse on the chrome browser. The chrome extension automatically logs you out the icon still shows connected. If you check the extension, you find out that the vpn was not connected the whole time.
In my opinion, Nordvpns inability to maintain a stable connection renders all other features useless. It is not reliable at all and at times it’s really infuriating.
I would recommend you look at other options before paying Nord.

I purchased an annual plan through the App Store but the VPN connections are not good. I can’t use any of the streaming services or even Google apps using this. Even if it does connect to server successfully- the connection drops every 10-20 seconds and I need to manually keep selecting the server after every drop since it is unable to reconnect automatically.
Also, please do not purchase the subscription via iTunes/App store since the 30 day refund policy doesn’t work in that case - you need to request for the refund through Apple Support and their website keeps automatically rejecting refund requests saying it’s not eligible for a refund. I have sent email to Apple for the same - I hope they process it. They should mention this policy on the App page - or have a better agreement with Apple to process refunds within the 30 day risk free trial that they advertise.

I have contacted to Nord VPN team, they are assuring for rapid fixing the said issue ⚠️. But it 1 year completed nothing happened.
I strongly recommend for Indian users , don't purchase it .

The most notorious issue - Wifi/Data auto switches off, if your phone is idle for 3 - 5 minutes.
As per Nord support executive explanation, It is a generic feature, As once you pick up your phone, It will get connected to the Nord servers.
What he failed to answer - What about all the running background apps waiting to hold a socket to get connected to internet?
VPN is configured in ON Demand mode - Internet will only work, If you are connected to Nord servers.
Correct me if i am wrong, if there is no connection/internet when i am not using my phone, How am i suppose to receive messages, emails and various other notifications.
What should Nord actually do to make it user friendly - On Demand mode should always be connected to Nord servers.
No support from apple and NordVPN

It’s been 7 days since I bought nordvpn. However it does not work with half the apps and hence not usable in the countries that I want to. When I tried to cancel the subscription, App Store does not let me do it. Nordvpn says apple will have to do it and apple says it is not eligible for cancellation with no regard to the complaint content. Irritated with the ping pong.

If u are purchasing this app in the VPN banned countries, it’s total waste it will work sometimes. If u contact the support team they will give u the bunch of IP address with different methods to configure it may be some it will work other u need contact their support team for next bunch of IP address, finally u will feel like instead of try this hard connect with IP’s and configuration methods you will decide stop using this app. Specially for UAE residents.

I am from India and i continued my service for about 15 days . Although its a great offering the difficulties i faced were lack of nearby servers and many apps not accepting many servers so always had to keep that changing. I wanted to uninstall the app and it continuously kept on blocking my screen with the “Enter Password” prompt. Despite the fact that I kept on trying to input the password, it freezes my screen with the same pop up to enter the password, every single second. Surprisingly, when I try to RESET my password, it asks me to login again. How stupid is this logic. Please stop this madness 🙏🏻
