Worst Zoom Car Customer Support Experience

We booked one car in Bhubaneswar but the car was not there at the given location we searched for car more than 1 Hr but not able to find. There is no response from Host. Host not responding to my calls and not responding to us in host connect chat. We are trying to connect Zoom car support but call says Time expired please connect through chat. In that chat we won’t get any response related to car not available. So only option is replacing the car and again we have to book another car and we have to go to that location and again it will show minimum 2 hrs extra to deliver the car bcoz the time is default set for delivery. Worst experience from Zoom Car Customer Service support Because of that my entire plan got distracted for 3 hrs that makes us to skip some places and move hurry burry

I recently had the pleasure of renting a car from zoomcars and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. No costumer call

Sir/mam my car TN59CP2126, In my car zoom gps device engine is having problem in starting the car. Mobilizer is disabled on Zoom device. Now I have removed the car GPS fuse and send in on the platform. So my car is unsafe. This issue affected my ratings and earnings. My car rating is downgraded from 4.3 to 3.5 because of the above said reason. It's not my fault. I had trouble in my last booking JPSNIM1P9 (MUTHU IRULANDI P ) my car was theft by the gust. I received the information from police and at that time one Saravana the manager of Zoom Madurai turn off the my car engine on your GPS device. I was in dire straits and no person answered my call from zoom and raise several tickets no person helped and did not respond me. Personally I would recovery the car without the help of Zoom cars. After that I am not able to start the car and after raising the ticket many times there is no action for start the car and I request Madurai Zoom Manager Saravana. He didn't hear my words and speak

Rudely . No action taken from Zoom Car if the booking comes, the car cannot be started by the gust so they cancel the booking.. that cancelation makes my car and drop my rating. No objection from my side. I did not Denny any gust. I am giving the car without Zoom GPS. So please guide me and solve the problem and remove my bad rating of car not starting and give my old rating. I have joined zoom since 2022 so please reply my confirmation.

WORST FOR REFUND OF FUEL CHARGES

I had Been Advised that Zoomcar has full Fuel reimbursement and hence I returned the Car with fuel of Worth 1500Rs which is 50% Of fuel tank Capacity. The Car is a diesel car and has not consumed More fuel. As Promised I did not get Any fuel reimbursement for past 30Days. I have raised complain and there is no addressing on it from the app. I pumped the car with 3000Rs of fuel. To drop the car I had to do closure Procedure which I had to follow and despite rain and app crashed in the last Minute of submission, hence I had to extend the trip for 1hr Of Rs370 in order just to close the trip. As it knows tracking of vehicle and it was at the dropping slot 30Minutes Prior, but due to rain and app did not let closure properly. Hefty of the app and loss incurred of worth Rs1870 This zoom does not claim for the cars. The cars also is maintained by 3rd party users and the tyres are not even worth for a short ride. Very unsafe. I hope these vehicles if maintained in such a way, then we can get the best from our neighbours by paying a good value or to buy of our own. This did not worth the suite. If you have claim for each trip an one month insurance then you should service and keep vehicles as brand new. Also The charges you make to a day is worth more than 10times the vehicle of its span years. Despite just making money please give assured great and good service.

Unprofessional Service

Booking: JPSNC30LL. Car booked in Chandigarh for a official trip, reached the car location in mid night and was shocked to see a accident car completely damaged vehicle was allotted. After reaching executive over customer care the answer was “sorry for inconvenience” and the option for other cars with increased price was offered. With no other options left at mid night after having a heated argument with the customer care executive selected the different car and proceed with the trip. Second car allotted didn’t had the fast tag, toll slips were uploaded after completing the trip and it’s now more than a 10 days there’s no response. Customer care executive have taken the complaint arguments personally and have blocked my number and mail. Trying to reach them out to get the refund of around 3000/- and understand there level of “unprofessional handling the complaints”. A company present Globally should train there employees so unprofessionally to handle the complaints from customer. Literally very much dissatisfied the way they blocked the number and by not responding to the mails. The CEO of the Zoomcar should take the responsibility for this unprofessionally and nasty behaviour of his employees. And won’t recommend anyone to use Zoomcars for this very reason.

Used it for the first time and utterly dissatisfied

Booking JPSNCH3CU. The Car I booked was never there at the given location. Then I had to book another mode of transportation to the new location of the car that was way inside Mukundpur 1.9KMs away. Host never responded to the calls (number was switched off). Wasted 1 hour 20 minutes in just finding the car and later to find out both the documents and Car keys were missing. Tried checked Dashboard, armrest and below the seats too. I was supposed to be at a close family friend’s last rites which I missed all because of zoomcar’s incompetency and to my surprise agents were repetitive to their script and had 0 impact of their fake apology and empathy. I switched for your competitor Revv which turned out to be a nightmare. Now after all this I am being offered an alternate car where in I specifically asked for cancellation and refund due to services not rendered and When I try to cancel the booking it says unable to cancel as trip in ongoing. Totally outdated UI and the worst part is lack of active listening, unable to provide resolution and incorrect/wrong TAT shared in order to resolve the query. I will not be using Zoomcar anymore that much I am sure of. You lost a customer and all because of lack of training in front end support. It was like I was speaking to an IVR instead of a human being.

Good to Worse

I have been the Zoomcar customer since they started the operations. I believe being a long-standing customer I’m fairly enabled to say about their services. Off late, the service has gone from good to average to worse! The range of cars offered has been decreasing by the day. Add to that, the quality of the car is not what they used to be! They keep changing the chosen car and type at the last moment. Very recent bad experience, they changed the chosen automatic variant to manual one and when I complained they just said to complete the trip and asked me to raise a issue. When I just did that, all they did was saying regret! Add to these woes, last few trips on a constant basis their cars are devoid of FasTag!! This will only make the whole trip experience far worse. We need to double pay the tolls and then reimburse after the trip which is another task. The customer care people seems to be ill-trained and they definitely don’t have the knowledge in handling customer issues. Instead of being a standout service provider by providing customer friendly business in this hotly contested business space they are just being transformed into yet another money making company!

Good service and cost

I am from Mumbai and I decided to book a car on rent for a day. At first i was very skeptical of which rental car company to choose and kept bouncing between 2-3. Eventually I went ahead with Zoom as I had heard of its service before through a friend but the reviews on all social platforms were bad and to be fair it was the case for all companies. Hence the doubt, but I put my faith and booked a car. Till date when I am writing this review, I have used Zoom’s services for the 3rd time and with no issues at all.

To be more specific, Zoom doesn’t take a deposit for your daily rentals which is a good thing as you have the peace of mind when dropping the car off. The information on the cars is the thing that attracts me more to use Zoom. It is pretty informative and you have many filters to find the perfect car. Furthermore, the cars are always in a great condition when I receive them and the starting process of the trip is also easy and smart. Although the app is slow during this process as it captures the car’s photos and uploads but i never had a major problem with it. I found that the prices are better on Zoom than its competitors with more discounts which is always a plus point. Zoom will refund any extra charge you had to incur in your trip(ex. Fuel).

To conclude, Zoom services are very good in Mumbai and I can vouch for it and recommend one too.

Please ignore other 1 star reviews as they must not be from Mumbai and also fake.

Nagpur trip… Bad experience

We had booked a zoom car from Nagpur for an outstation trip . I was travelling with my husband daughter and my wheelchair bound FIL The pickup was at Nagpur airport terminal at 4 pm We got messages and location for car pickup in the morning and continued getting the same location through out When we got out of the terminal, the location said pickup is at the Metro station so we went looking for the car But No Car The next location shared was about 45 minutes by cab so after trying to reach the customer care number for about 45 minutes and being put on hold before call disconnected multiple times., we decided to take a cab and go to the location shared by the app and on Watsapp but again No Car Came back to the airport and finally managed to get in touch with the person from zoom Nagpur who put us in touch with the driver and he sent a new location at the terminal car parking This was after wasting 2 hours and Rs 1200 on the cab ride Now today for the car drop at airport terminal , I clearly told the driver to pickup car by 1.45 as 2 pm is the drop off We were ther waiting for the driver and he was 10 minutes late He picked can at 1.55 and now the app is saying that the trip is still not ended When I approached the contact person and driver , they ended the trip and are now saying I owe money as I delayed I have never encountered such bad service Might never use this service again Pawandeep

Regarding my booking in Pune and Customer Support on the reported issue

Worst customer service I have experienced ever. I booked a car in Pune (XUV500) for 3 days. While booking they provided incorrect information of the vehicle condition. Today I picked the vehicle from pickup location and started the trip. While driving car is giving alert messages that brake shoe is worn out. To make this report I tried reaching to customer support team and dialer in mobile Zoomcar app was routing to some incorrect number. I emailed the via app to customer support team but no response then I googled and got customer care number. Again after 30 minutes of struggle on AVRs one executive talked to me and said to drop the car to the pickup location and someone will come next day to inspect and I will get report after in three days. Support team denied to initiate refund after deducting one day charge or to provide any replacement of the provided defective car which is having high risk of getting into accident because of break issue. I came in a family trip from Lucknow to Pune and planned for Pune to Bangalore and my trip got ruined because of such bad customer support. Based on my today’s experience I will not recommend anyone on family trip to take zoomcar service, better to book a taxi.

Very disappointed and pathetic experience

I want to share the pathetic experience with zoom car today. I booked Alto k10 Automatic transmission from airport Bangalore, as I have driving experience with only automatic cars. And I am shocked to see manual transmission car handed over to me that too 1 hour late at airport, where I have done both but waiting for car to come. When I asked the person about manual transmission, he was very negligent saying that it’s just 5 gears sir what’s the difference. He finally asked me to call customer care. And I didn’t get proper response from customer care too, asked me to send an email. I am in the middle of highway at that moment, that driver taking me to a petrol bunk guessing that I will accept the car anyway. Being very disappointed and blank minded what to do, I told him that I want to cancel the booking. So he left me at the highway saying that I can get Uber cars there. And it’s been 8 hours now they left me at the middle of highway, there’s no proper response from zoom car. They neither canceled the booking nor arranged an alternate automatic car. And worst part is that I have done 4900 payment already at the time of booking and I don’t know if I get refund or not. The booking looks still open . This is absolute cheating and fraud. Never seen such pathetic customer service. The worst experience in my life. Never go with zoom car again

Fraud

Guys they are fraud. I booked a hyundai I20 on 15th of august for my birthday two days prior. But when I went to receive the car on the promises location, to my surprise it wasn’t there. I kept looking for it for about 2 hours, it was of no use. Even tried calling them many times, but it was of no use. After 2-3 hours I met a guard who gave me the number of the car owner, i called him he introduced himself as a doctor, said zoomcar has transferred my booking ti someone else without noticing me. After an hour of of convincing i was able to convince him for renting the car. Went to his hospital BVP Hospital Pune to pickup the car from the parking lot he promised, again to my surprise the car wasn’t there. He asked me to wait there for 2 hours. Waited for 2 hours amid rainfall. And he call after 2 hours of me waiting in the parking lot that the booking has been canceled. I tried calling zoomcar customer care but they weren’t picking up. After trying about 50 times they picked up the call. Full amount of refund was promised to me along with some compensation amount within a week period. They have blacklisted me , they are not picking up my calls. My birthday got spoiled because of them. Got sick because of them no reply from their side. I want to alert you guys about the mental harassment zoomcar is making its customers go through.

Just awful enough…will not be hiring again in Bhubaneswar

It’s the second time I took the car on hire in Bhubaneswar and experience was as bizarre as first time. The car was in a decent condition as I drove. That’s it. Car was picked up by me from airport parking in dirty condition as against promised 30 point pre-handover check. As I drove out I was asked to pay parking charges, though I had already paid for additional charges for airport pickup. I had to take it to Carwash platform to have it washed and cleaned. I was told all these charges will be reimbursed on my claiming. Two hours prior to my dropping off time, I received continuous calls from Zoom car representatives stating they would pick up the car from my place of stay. This I thought is a nice gesture, but deceptive as I learnt later. I had handed over car with same petrol level which was ensured through me filling the petrol just before drop off. The place of handover was 1.5 km from Airport. The end reading of petrol level was shown in closure records as one level less though photograph with me showing same level as at pick up time. Thus they charged a hefty amount extra for petrol fill. My claim for reimbursement is not taken to cognisance so far. It’s just ridiculous. Awful to say the least. Never again in Bhubaneswar.

Pathetic, Dangerous and Takes no responsibility

Absolute bad experience. Booked car from Airport thus paying premium price… car arrived late. Car came dirty with mud marks inside. Fuel was extremely low, but is misreported as 20% by executive and zoomcar doesn’t do any cross-verification. And again at the end of trip, executive was not available. Called him to know he is 30min away. So as to not to miss my flight wanted to end my trip by keeping car at parking area with car keys in it. No such option came on this trip (which otherwise is an option). Called call center using in app assistance option which initially said invalid no. And other in app assistance topic doesn’t tell about options to end the trip. Later when connected to call center, the person on call was too reserved to only listen to topics of his likes, when i complained about issues he just kept mum… very unprofessional behaviour… and heights of arrogance he disconnected the call tge moment he was sure that car is safely parked and locked. And this is second continuous bad experience with zoomcar. I wonder is it even worth to book again when i get chauffeur driven service almost at same cost. Zoomcar should understand they arent that big to let down its users with such monopolistic unilateral approach in service industry.

Avoid zoomcar

After using their services for many years ( excellent service) finally decided to delete the app as zoomcar is no longer the same since they have started the host program. They hardly have any car of their own and depend mostly on HOSTS due to which they have no control on the fleet. 1. car booked for 28th- Home delivery. Booked 2 weeks in advance. 2 hrs before get a msg saying car is not available. They give an option for another car but i need to travel to different part of Bangalore to pick the car. So obviously had to cancel. I got 100 credits ( equal to 100 rs) supposedly to make up for the pathetic service. I suggest to keep that 100 credits and improve your service. 2. Booked for 29th morning for self pick up.(arkere) Gps coordinates were shared of the car but car was missing. Customer care says that car was not placed there by host. So i am surprised with the gps location shared with me. I was given an option to pick a car myself from anekkal which is very far from where i was. Customer care says “ its in bangalore only “. WoW If this is the customer service i get during booking, i can imagine the time when im in an accident or break down , Wat kind of service ill get then.

Dissatisfied

I was very excited to visit my college from where I graduated after 27long yrs and I along with my friends planned a road trip from Bangalore to Chitradurga from the 19thMay 2022 to 21st May 2022 …I had booked a Suzuki ciaz to be picked up from the airport for which I was told a week later that the said car is not available and we can book another within the same price range ..I went on to book an XUV 500 which again 10 days before the trip was changed to a Bolero (and I was told it’s an upgrade) …but in the end when we reached the airport on the 19th we were handed over an I20 …and was offered an downgrade refund of 2800/- bucks …we didn’t have the time nor we wanted to argue as we all were too excited about the upcoming trip to our Alma mater … The Alumina function went off well and we returned the car at the said destination well in advance from the time mentioned in our booking, but unfortunately we were handed over a late fee payment of 2978/- for which I have made repeated calls and I am promised each and every time that they will look into the matter but to no avail I guess this was my first and last association with zoom until they come up with an apology PS — I have rated 2 stars just coz the car we travelled in was in a good condition and trouble free else it would be a negative rating if that was possible

Whosoever is trying to book a zoom, please read my review first then book it if you feel like,

only one word. PATHETICCCC. Let me describe how careless zoom services are. I did a booking for which i entered my pick up location - jaipur railway station and drop off location as an airport of jaipur. But due to non availability of that centre so they gave a new nearest pick up location WHICH WAS 10kms AWAY from railway station so i had to take a can which costs more because it was 3:00am. And by giving the new pick up location, they already changed our drop off location (from airport to again pick up location) which i got to know on the day of trip end.

2nd thing: the car we received has no AC working in this summer of 45 degree so on the very same day i call help centre regarding this and what they told is “sir abhi aap repair karalo, paise hum aapko refund de denge if you upload the bill”. So for this i had to find a garage with my 3 colleagues in this 45 degree without AC and finally i found one. It took almost 2 hours to get everything done. After uploading the bill of the same, they did not even called me or texted to single time ragarding refund. I still not got any refund as this is my 2nd day after ending my trip. WORST SERVICE, POOR POOR POOR ZOOMCAR.

I WOULD NEVER SELECT ZOOMCAR FROM MY NEXT TRIP ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN 0 start then i would have given that as well.

Poor service

I have opted for a car from pune wagholi region at around 10am in march 19th it was hot out there but thats ok, i reached the place where the navigation through the app took me to with an auto as it was quick, to my surprise that place was not having any such car sheds so i asked nearby people and they told nothing is thr, Then i tried to call the customer care and as always it took 12 mins for them to pick the phone as they were busy, and they told in few mins they will call me back with the responsible dealer for my booking in conference, so with in that few 15 mins i was on my way to the place where exactly the adress was mentioned which is different from the point of navigated place, almost 2.5 kms from that place and again i found nothing on that place. In the mean time my call gets connected and talked with the dealer through conference call and got to know that its in hadapsar which is actually 20 kms away from the place where i was standing. It was already 11:30 am so I dropped my idea of going to that place and called custemer care and told them to cancel the same they said yes and initiated my refund but today its a month completed but i havent got my money back. So i feel 1star is also too much for them. Forget about my travel expenses in the time period and also my time and frustration.

Pathetic and worst customer service

Booked a car as I was in urgency to reach a location, it was self pick up,when I arrived at location ,car was unlocked with help of customer service(waited for 15 min to connect), later the car didn’t moved a bit as there was engine start issue with the car, it was not starting, for reaching customer care it took 40 minutes for me which was real frustrating on road , later after a long haul I said am going to leave the location, lock the car. Car was locked automatically, executive said they filed a compliant , for sure there team will call me in 15 min for resolutions/ alternative. Note: my booking was not halted, it was still continuing, it was not put on hold Straight after one hour as they didn’t called me , I called their executives( waited for 15 min to connect), again repeated the same thing , he said he’s transferring the call to concern team ‘am putting you on hold sir’. Later the call got disconnected by them ( how come a call can be disconnected when they put you on hold ..until and unless they disconnect it, it won’t get disconnected) Zoom car costed me a lot of time in waiting /my commitments which I couldn’t do because of their late response, and sound full scoldings from my family Never gonna trust and suggest to anyone Pathetic and worst service

Total Fraud

Booked an Automatic Creta for a one way trip from Bangalore to Mangalore. Full payment was done in advance.

The app indicated that I had to travel to Rajajinagar to pick up the car as per my required time at 8:30pm. Home delivery services weren’t available. When I got there, I wasn’t able to find the garage or the spot where the car was located. Called customer care, and all of a sudden they said that the car wasn’t available and they were “ sorry for the inconvenience “. They went on to say that an alternative car would be allotted. Went on to make me wait for 10 mins. No response. Called them again, told me that they were again “ sorry for the inconvenience “. Went on to make me wait for another 15 mins. No response again. Mind you I was standing in the middle of the road and the night wasn’t getting any younger. This went on for a while with me calling them and them apologising saying they were again “sorry for the inconvenience”. After an hour and a half of waiting, they finally called me to give me the news that there’s no car available and they had to cancel my booking. After all the waiting and the trouble caused they cancelled the booking. I desperately needed a car to drive to mangalore. Terrible car service provider and heavily unreliable. Please don’t make the mistake of booking with them again. And I am absolutely sure that I am not the first one they have done this to. Absolutely ridiculous.

Left me stranded at night with a lady in an isolated area of Gurgaon

I had one of the most harrowing and unfortunate experiences of my life thanks to the disturbing unprofessionalism of Zoomcar. I reached my pickup spot, a highly isolated area, at 10:00 pm along with my friend and was then informed by the customer service executive that my car was parked inside a gated society. The guards obviously did not let us enter and then we were stranded there for over two hours because there were no cabs or transport in the area. My lady friend who was with me and I were reduced to waiting outside in a scary area of Gurgaon and the Zoomcar customer executives kept promising to call us back and then not doing it at all. Finally, I got a cab at 12:30 am and was able to come home by blind luck. I shudder to think what could’ve happened and I am absolutely appalled by the service of this company. Not only was I not given any prior information about the difficulties in pickup or the fact that my pickup spot was in a private residence, but I was also severely mistreated by the customer service executives. In the end, they refunded my booking charge, no mention of my cab expenses to and fro and the mental agony that my friend and I suffered for two hours on Diwali night. I am deeply disturbed by this atrocious behaviour and shall be moving authorities against the same as soon as possible. Recommend you all not to ever use this service.

Stranded on the road, thanks to Zoomcar

We had a confirmed booking for 8. AM on 25th of May and the Zoomcar representative confirmed our booking over the cal just before the booking date. When we went to pick up the car at Belandur with all our things ( hell lot of luggage) they told us there are no cars available and they would arrange a different car and kept us waiting for hours and they said there is a car available in the airport and they told us to pick up the car from there which was impossible for us because transport was limited due to Covid. Well we are still on road with all our things and cannot go back home since we were moving from Bangalore to Mangalore and we had already left our blore house so literally we are on road because of the blunder Zoomcar made... fine!! We waited for a long time expecting Zoomcar to help us and they said no cars are available and we can only get it by June 2nd week, we literally begged them to give us any car that was available since we had nowhere to go and we were in the road with all our stuff.... luckily we had a friend where we could hang on and we still tried book another car with Zoomcar assuming they could help and the 2nd booking also turned out to be the same and now almost 10k is stuck with Zoomcar which we have not received the refund yet...

just want to say that we have lost all trust with Zoomcar and never ever gonna use this app anymore nor suggest it to anybody....

I am dissatisfied with this app and customer support

I had taken Zoomcar for one day trip. From the beginning itself app doesn’t works properly. Actually app was showed me a location where car was parked. But we couldn’t find the car in that location. After a prolonged search we get to know car was parked 1 km away. Next problem is we couldn’t unlock the car. Finally it was unlocked by customer support. Next problem was we couldn’t end the trip using this app. Customer care executive said that you should end the trip where the car was taken. I couldn’t end the trip where I took the car. After contacting customer care again, he said that end the trip where map showing. I couldn’t park the car in map location because that is main road of the city. Finally we end the trip and went away from that place after completing one day trip. Final problem came after two days. I received an e-mail and sms stating that you have due amount of 7500 for late fee charges. Then I had tried to explain all problems to them, they are talking in impolite manner and seems they are the CEO of the Zoomcar. My suggestion is don’t get car unless it is an Zoomcar premise and without Zoomcar staff. I won’t use Zoomcar in my lifetime. Uninstalled the app. Good bye

Love it but still improvements needed !!!

Hi Team

Everything is fine regarding your services and I exceptionally love using your services. It suits my requirements & expectations. But still needed few changes with your policies.

1) During the return, it’s a bit hard to park the car in the same location where the car is picked up as the area is occupied by some other vehicles. Considering the safety of the vehicle & to neglect disturbances to the public, it is required to park the car in the nearby possible location, which we are unable to do as the app shows that the car wasn’t in the same location. Also, in certain cases you are charging for such cases. Please go through this so that this can be resolved ASAP.

2) When crossing the states, it’s always difficult to find where they issue the state permits as we found in some check posts they aren’t providing those permits. It costs waste of time and what I suggest is, please make sure that those permits are available for the nearby states if possible for vehicles booked with long ranges.

3) If possible please fill the fuel to the max so that we don’t have to wait for the refund to get processed.

They are hungry for money and loot customers

1st case - Whet they started PEDL, the app was working good. I was started loving pedl. But when they updated the app and increased the price, lots of issues started to happen. I started pedl then reached to my destination then I was ending the trip but it was not happening. I tried for 30 min every time it showed something went wrong. Please try again. What was that?? Then I left for my home. Next day i saw that the trip was still running and i was charged. These guys don’t have customer support. I emailed them then at evening I got a call from a guy he went to the cycle and stopped it. I was supposed to get my refund but not. After 45 day it was not refunded. Then I again emailed them. After 2 days they replied that refund process it initiated and will take 24 to 48 hrs. Its been 7 days still not refunded.

2nd case - Today I got a mail that subscribe to pedl and get flat 1000 discount on zoomcar booking every month. I searched everywhere for terms and conditions but not found any. That means it was clear that it was flat 1000 off without any conditions. But when I subscribed to pedl for 199 I received a mail with TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Yes and it was like I have to take zoomcar for 24 hr minimum. What is this?? They think we are fools. I just want to inform that. By this behaviour and service your customer will stop using your cheap service and people will know you are scammers.
