I have been trying to book the ticket the whole day and communicated over twitter and a person from support made me install redbus app and also try browser and app never showed an error, but a blank page. The web browser said "ticket id is null" and never opened the payment page or upi notification. The person made me do booking multiple times while ai complained my phone is overheating and the booking failed always. The person then told me he is closing the ticket. I don't know how illiterate your team is to close the ticket without solving the issue and I had to hang up. It is very agonising after making me hold a heated phone for a long time for nothing.

There is a bug that doesn’t let book the sleeper seats for female passengers. When there is already a single seat booked by a female passenger in a double berth, the app forces me (another female passenger) to select the seat next to it. Although there are many other seats free, I am unable to select them. This is really annoying because the seats that i want are actually cheaper.

I am a regular customer of redbus and I never had any problems with their service. Today I booked a bus I have chosen Jihan travels the bus was supposed to come at 640 and it showed up at 7.40 the bus passed by me and then the bus operator called me said where are you. I said I am waiting in the same place and cannot see you.
The bus guy left. When I called red bus service and informed about the issue they are supporting the bus operator.
I have decided to uninstall this service. Poor customer service.

The bus i booked was a volvo 2+1 sleeper suddenly at the time of boarding it was a norml ac sleeper bus with seats and sleeper and tadaaaa redbus has nothing to help with that.. I have booked the bus on the Chennai heavy rain time due to rain I am unable to travel. So I have availed travel date change I have not received any warning on ticket cannot cancelled. Due to rain water stagger in my area I could not travel. I tried to cancel but no option is there while called help line they simply told you have contact bus service provider ( Essar bus service) they r telling to get in touch with red bus. After several times calling I have arranged conference call on both of them. Both are telling that not possible I have to travel and money is non refundable as per policy. Bus service provider telling that after you travel only we will get the money. Red bus says as per policy it is non refundable. This is not acceptable as my money of 2000 Rs total loss. Very poor service provider. Total upset. I suggest not to use this service provider as the service & no knowledge how to answer fromcall centre people.

I was using this app since long but today when i booked tickets because i had an emergency i felt it is such a pathetic app it’s interface is really third class and i and give 100 marks for it’s developers for making it. So the problem started here, when i was trying to book ticket for indore in the timing section it is not showing any kind of clear details whether it is AM or PM, i selected the date and selected the seats for 3rd jan assuming it is in the afternoon i.e PM and moved to checkout, even in the checkout window it is nowhere mentioned whether it is am or pm, then too i made a payment and my ticket got confirmed. Suddenly i get a call from bus operator during mid of the night around 3 am that the bus will reach on time and i was shocked. Surely i cannot board the bus at that time because i was 100 km away from that destination and i was about to reach the boarding destination at afternoon. Now as per policy i cannot cancel the ticket and not even change the dates. If it is bus operator policy then redbus team u are the mediator you should help your customers. My whole 2000 bucks gone for nothing. I am 100% sure I would not recommend this app to anyone

I just paid for the bus sleeper from Raipur to ranchi, they shared me ticket with the number of conductor and bus number but when I called the bus conductor, he told that bus will start on 9 pm, and my bus timing was 8 pm when i asked for my seat they told that you have reservation in some other bus but it happened only because of red bus shared wrong contact number, when i contacted red bus they told that they will arrange seat for me in 30 mins and I’m seating at the ground for last 6 hours and i called red bus for 5-6 times every time they told that you will get seat in 30 mins but I’m not getting anything, then they told that for inconvenience we will refund you ₹181 for the ticket of ₹1200 , when i asked them for full refund as i have travelled more than half of the journey sitting at ground they told that sir atleast you are travelling so we cannot refund full amount , when i asked to connect my call to their senior they told that they are not available and they will resolve my issue in 48 hours, it was not expected from the redbus app it’s completely wrong. I’m not gonna use redbus from now.

RedBus doesn’t care about the customer experience at all. It just charges premium, inflates the ticket prices and doesn’t even see if the buses are proper and are being serviced or not. We paid 2k/person for an ac bus on a weekday which would otherwise cost not more than 1200. The bus condition was horrible. It had flies, mosquitoes and cockroaches crawling inside the bus. The bus broke down after an hour it started from Kumta. After 3 hrs they managed to arrange a non AC bus, where we got back seats and we reached Bangalore very late in the morning and 4 of us travelling missed our office. The red bus team did not even care to call us for an apology. After I called them they refused to give refund also. It was almost like they were not sorry at all for the experience. I am gonna call the bus guys next time and book a ticket directly so that if something happens I’ll be able to take refund from them directly. RedBus is anyway not providing the convenience I have been paying a premium for.

At bording point bus was delay for 1 hour 20minutes then my seat number was 9 and the charging point was not working when I address issues no solution I had only option left to sleep .. One of worst travel bus agency. No respect to customers while talk, they talk what ever they want. Bus left without boarding for 4min late. Also I didn't like the behaviour of staff from head office to local office. V Kaveri travel agency is are money looting. They want to board some other person for back pocket money so they will start bus even if 4 min late. But if the bus is late then customer have to accept. Even the red bus $#*! agency also support travel operators. Term and policies are only for customer but not for travel agencies? ( especially when bus is late.) I booked a bus and after booking the driver number showed to me was 123. After multiple calls to redbus they gave me a number of the operator. When i called that number he asked me where i am standing and whether i have complained against them for inappropriate ph no. Mentioned. They said they will beat me if i complained them again and bothered them for the same. I called again redbus that i am in danger and have recieved a threat. The customer service guy said to call again and he called again by taking the operator on conference without letting me know. I just ran out from there to save my life and lost my flight.
I will never use red bus ever again!

Its high time redbus should have verified bus operator who wont cancel the bus at the last moment leaving the customer optionless along with that other operator ask for more money for the ticket taking advantage of the situation created by operators on you list leading to both loss of time and money of the customer yester day I booked tickets form Jammu and kashmir to Delhi ticket was successfully booked and at the last moment when we reached the boarding location bus was cancelled if your operaters want to cancel the bus they should not take the booking at all as they are incapable of making any alternate arrangements for the passangers you should add note in your app that how many times this operator has cancelled the bus so that travellers can books much reliable operators you should make sure if operator cancel the bus at the last moment they should make alternate arrangement or should communicate for the cancellation 2-3hrs prior so that travellers can plan accordingly

Timing on ticket was 3:30, I reached the boarding point following the directions provided by app, at 3:16 pm got call from bus conductor and I told I reached the point but he said you are at weong location plus timing for baording is 3 pm . I than asked him to send his live location and sent him ticket as proof of timing and location. After 2 minutes of following his location , he called again and said to reach a certain point I didn’t knew about, on asking somebody I was told it will take me 10 minutes to reach there by my bike . But driver refused to wait even though we reached before 3:30 . He misbehaved by saying I wouldn’t wait for more than 2 minutes and I am not going to pick you from your home,etc. As a result, he refused the ride. I want full refund and request to correct the details online so as no one else had to suffer. I reached my destination at 11:30 pm by catching a roadways bus. I was a torturous experience overall. I tried reaching customer care , email reviews etc but got no response in return, like if they become zombies

While booking the bus ticket, by mistake the male option was selected instead instead of female option Bus conductors or whoever had 3-4 boys, did not help me to select another seat instead of that seat. Then after arguing for 5 10 minutes, I got the ticket booked again and in a hurry, the night ticket was booked, after which I also got the refund. In place of the seat which was booked earlier, I was given a seat in the last corner where continuous 4 seats are joined and partitioned after 2 seats. There are 2 boys in that 2 seat who have come drunk, are abusing me, harassing me and fighting others inside. Right now the bus will reach in 2 hours but the conductors should pay attention not to give such seats to any girl where she is not safe, anything can happen here. Service of red bus is good but please import your service and keep customer care facility so that if any such act happens for the second time then we will directly complain on customer care number. I have booked sleeper bus on 11th May night. Suddenly Bus breakdown around 10 pm in Suryapeta, No one responded even RedBus Customer care support team also. We have waited 4 hours in midnight on the road. I am unable to contact RedBus customer care support. I didn’t respect this type of service from RedBus. Even no response from bus operators. After that old Seater bus arranged instead of Sleeper bus. There is no power point to charge mobile, we couldn’t call our family members. They worried and they don’t know where we are, when we will reach.I missed my work due to delay 5 hours late of bus. Horrible journey.
Even till today no response from Redbus after complaining through Mail ID. Worst service, choose another option like ease my trip.

Booked the ticket having the boarding time of 5:35 and the bus driver called at 4:19 and asked to reach in next 10 mins or he’ll leave..i asked to wait for at least 20 mins as per reminded him redbus app is showing the policy that it will wait till the boarding time only and not after that, driver as usual having the authority position started rude talk and disconnected the talk. Called multiple times it was no use. App had live tracking for the bus though I selected the same option while booking, zero chat support and customer care support as no live agent also no option to change the bus until the current booking was showing active. TOTAL WASTE of bus booking amount though while booking I selected the assurance program for full refund if the bus gets cancelled. Kudos to the way of earning money by cheating the public.

We have booked VRCR travels from Hyderabad to Chagalamarri, Andhra Pradesh. However, When we entered in the bus requested driver to drop at Chagalamarri. Then he said he can drop only at bypass. As I called Bhushan Customer care executive said that he cannot help us now and will get back to me after 48 hours. When I insisted to help now as we couldn’t walk as there will be no auto or rickshaw at 4am, he started raising voice and sound rude and like to end the call very pathetic support from RedBus. We have paid 1500 INR for each ticket, It’s minimum courtesy to take passengers to their selected destination. We have informed bus driver that Redbus portal had shown two destinations I.e Chagalamarri and Chagalamarri bypass but I had selected Chagalamarri, he rejected that and informed we will not take you inside the town and drop at bypass. Bus driver and conductors said if we could have requested them in a begging manner they would have been accepted as they were informed to us after the conversation. It is your responsibility to drop at destination of customer.

I have booked Madurai to Chennai and Chennai to Madurai. Due to emergency I supposed to cancelled those tickets. Return ticket has been cancelled but forward ticket was not able to cancel. Through humanity way I requested their support on either change of date, refund with discount etc. But rude customer support executive has denied my request. These people are generating crores and crores but when we look for support it is zero. Frustrated, anyway the bus operator would definitely fill my seat. Double profit to them. These looting policy won’t work, I suggest customers to please book directly with bus operators. They will definitely cancel the ticket even at last minute by arranging alternative plans. Can Redbus ensure no one will be seated in my booking? Are they ethic in business? I’m uninstalling the looting app now.. no actions had been taken for our previous inconveniences in travel. Their main motto is generating revenue and sucking hard earned money. No longer needed..

Two times I didn’t get bus but they had closed ticket cancel bar bangalore to Perinthalmanna bus 3:44pm for cancelling my ticket I tried to cancel in 12:45pm they are not allowing me to cancel they removed cancellation option and I didn’t get refund .both bus operators and redbus app to time I lost my bus I didn’t get my refund they are not cancelling ticket passengers have many emergency’s so if they book ticket on time . They know can’t reach in that time so need to cancel their ticket why your not providing that it’s very cheap business trick . Please provid cancelation bar all are loosing their money without travelling.. if the passenger can’t reach on time to bus stop they to cancel for their emergency don’t take it has an advantage to take money from poor people. Very very bad app 👎🏻

LThis app shows up completely un-verified bus operators and dangerous for passengers . They just allow anyone to register I guess. No background verification on whether the bus is in good condition, whether it’s capable of pleasant travel.
Worst bus operator . Universal travels. Totally unprofessional and took 9 hours for destination where it usually takes 5 hours . He stopped the bus asked passengers to move to another bus and took the passengers for granted. The reason was not proper. Poor management and poor operator. The bus seating is not same as the original ones. He cannot treat passengers like this. My 67 yo father was literally exhausted to death the day he travelled.
Never use this app going forward, I read the reviews and surprised it’s still 4.6. That is not accurate based on the experience.

Bus Journey- Roorkee to Gurgaon Bus timing- 10:30PM Seat No. V (sleeper) Story is…I’m picking up my seat which shown alone/single birth in the red busapp. But I’m shocked when the conductor says there is one more passenger with you and you have to share your seat with him.. This cabin is not appropriate for two people and the bus conductor is not going to listen any single word from my side… The service is very pathetic…. This cabin has less space as comparedd to RAC in trains. i choose the cabin to work on my laptop and to complete the urgent work which has to be delivered today and it’s totally loss for me physically & financially ……
Customer care service is very bad and there is no any toll-free no to connect urgently.
And what's the purpose Of responding after 24 hours when the journey is over with lots of tussle.

Free date change - a tricky option 🙁

The free date change option is a bit tricky as once you do a date change once, there is no option either to cancel or to do another date change. The app doesn’t give any guideline on the date change policy, but I’m sure it would be available in some fine print (T&Cs). A bit annoyed because it is a very tricky way to get the customer forfeit the ticket. But the good thing is you get tricked only once! Never going to use the free date change option again. Also, will look for alternative apps.
Also, the help desk is not at all helpful in any way. It will only allow you to ask the questions it wants to answer and the questions you really have.

I was your regular customer and I always prefer booking bus tickets from redbus but as you are advertising about the Raksha Bandhan festival, i booked a ticket from Nagpur to Hyderabad to meet my sister but because of you (redbus) i was not able to meet my sister and in the last 22 years its the first time my sister didn’t tied rakhi to me all thanks to you redbus.
I am no more your customer I already switched to Abhibus.

Me and family have already suffered 3-4 times because of redbus many timer the bus gets canceled and no one notify also the number of bus operators given by redbus are switched off or invalid, last time my bus was from bhandara to Hyderabad and the boarding time was 11 pm and i waited till 4 am in the morning but not bus came the redbus team is the wrost, they never help you they will just say sorry nothing else . There call support team is very bad they dont know how to do business. After having so many incidents I decided to not use this fraud app and seriously i am very upset from redbus.

RedBus is the worst bus ticket booking service ever. They do not have any coordination with their bus operators. I booked a ticket on 31st May 2022 with redBus and then bus was delayed by 5 hours so I had to cancelled the ticket because it wasn’t possible for me to wait that many hours at boarding point which was fairly 5kms away from my home and in rural area and the bus would be arriving at night time because of the delay otherwise it would have been afternoon. I cancelled my ticket by calling redBus and was told to wait for 48 hours for refund. RedBus tried calling bus operator at the same time but they were not picking up the call. I was told to wait for 48 hours and given option of full refund and cancellation of the ticket or still travel with the bus and I will be given 15% refund for the delay. I chose full refund with cancellation of the ticket. Today is 9th June 2022, 10th day of those 48 hours. As of today, I have been given 48 hours wait option 3 times already and 24 hours option 2 times, there are no signs of refund and now I am getting new information on every call with them like my ticket was never cancelled and you should speak to the bus operator etc. I am not sure at this point that I will be getting my money back so I thought of writing this review to alarm other users of this service.

Don’t book any state transport bus with RedBus. They don’t provide any details of the bus not even they give what is start point and end point of the route. I was not provided with the bus number nor any other details, I was there at the boarding point half an hour before the time and waited for complete one hour. I was not knowing which bus to take. After chatting with the RedBus customer care they said you can ask the msrtc operator at the stop, but they wanted details of bus, they wanted start and end points of the route to guide me. After chatting for a long time and trying to call on the number provided with ticket message I couldn’t find my bus. Finally I had to ask for refund from the customer service but that too they’re giving excuses that it should be collected from the msrtc, but if RedBus is not providing details for the bus than it’s their failure in giving good service. After sometime the customer service executive stopped replying to my messages.
Worst worst worst experience with RedBus. Do not recommend to use their service.

1. bad behaviour of app! due to that, accidentally booked a non ac bus and no option to cancel the ticket with refund.
2. wrong info and late arrival of bus and also the nonsence conductor arguing unnecessarily, over phone.
3. shown a wrong berth, after about 1 hrs the bus conductor asked me to go to actual berth which was already occupied by their spare drunk driver who is not willing to move off from the berth.
4. asked the conductor to handover my berth to me, then he used a word in filthy language to that drunk driver if i was bothering them both, very disgusting and offensive behaviour.
5. pvt buses aren't safe and also they halt every where if they need to fill some of their empty seats, also their drivers are drunk tho their wish, i assume no checks on them.
suffocated a lot with non ac bus whenever they stops, also in running even its in the night time no cool air except the dust from roads. Fare also not reasonable but more than rtc ac bus charges who move faster and responsible, fair & also they will have breath analyser checks at bus depot. and their jobs are permanent unlike any pvt travels bus drivers who can flew to another travels if they found arrogant or guilty by the travels management.
In one word redbus is of waste and its a profit gain base 3rd party app…. Just avoid…

Application is running Ram bharose ,no professional team who know how to handle customer problems , i booked a bus to somewhere in Rajasthan they processed my booking , after that operator without letting me know changed boarding point, and I placed a complaint about this , customer care executive told me that he have booked a complaint redBus team will resolve this in 48 hours, then i get in to bus as redBus customer care executive told me , now in night i came to know that bus have a different route so bus will not go to the place which I booked, i raise complaint again , at that day customer care executive told me that i have raised complaint regarding my issues , they will get back to me in 48 hours, after 48 hours i m calling them to ask about my complaint, now redBus asking me to show proofs that i have not reached to booked place , such a unprofessional company, after taking money they have no liability towards customer

I had booked a bus from Pune to Bangalore on 16th of February with orange travels, seat U19,Boarding time 6:45pm. The bus arrived late and to my horror after boarding the bus I see that my seat is filled with luggage. I was deboarded for raising the issue to the driver and the codriver and demanding an alternate seat. I have raised this issue with Redbus and it's been 6 days since then. Everytime I call the Redbus customer care they just tell me to wait for 48 hours. This is a very pathetic and unprofessional way to treat a customer. Never expected this kind of response. If you can't stand for the customer when he/she has faced issue from the bus operator then what's the point in booking from your platform ?? Is my issue going to resolve or not ??? I would never recommend anyone to use your platform anymore.

I just trying to resolve my issue from last 7 days everytime they are saying will solve in 2 days but till now they even don’t know what to do . I am using redBus from more then 4 years , last week I booked my bus to Delhi the bus operator called me and said bus was canceled , I have to come so I took the another bus from red bus !! Now they [red bus executives] are saying you don’t have proof operator called you so refund can’t be initiate , now this is not matter of money this is matter of what is right what is wrong. Many of us not check for refund its come back or not after the cancellation we trust the company in my scenario I never check for refund but operator told me many time money will back and I did not received any msg from red bus about cancellation so it looked suspicious so I talked to red bus executive on same day What I have to do they are trying to proof me lier they are not taking any action against the operator who is playing this game Everytime when I called to them I have to explain everything to them again and again because everytime there is different person(customer care executive ) every call about 25-30 min and everytime they give me 48 hours it’s end less cycle I have limited resource a normal guy who is working 10-7 if I have resource I must take legal action against them they will know !!

So I had other commitments and was trying to reach Bangalore by 4:30, unfortunately the bus broke down and I waited 2.5 hours on road. But was assured to reach Bangalore by 6, I reached Bangalore ( my destination) much later than the promised time. I need compensation cos it wasn’t my fault. Red bus didn’t take any responsibility, before compensation I wanted them to call the bus operator and take the Electronic City flyover so we could reach the place bit early. But they couldn’t reach operator after trying two times. The red bus operator told me that their serivce is just a portal to book, then my question is why will I choose you instead of directly calling the operators available in your list. Pay them when I get on the bus. Atleast yesterday I could’ve chosen another bus, when this bus was not working. I lost that flexibility due to red bus. Guys if you aren’t up for a responsibility then don’t book for anyone please.

I booked a “Primo” REDBUS which they say is safe , on time ,etc. 1) It was 30 minutes late in departure. 2) The bus no. was different from the one mentioned in the app and informed to me via sms. So it couldn’t be tracked as they advertise. 3) Just 5 minutes into the journey, the bus stopped at a petrol pump for refuelling which wasted another 15 minutes. 4) 30 minutes into the journey they made us change the bus, so all the travellers had to shift their belongings to the new bus. 5) All these unprofessional things, and at about halfway, the bus broke down. 6) I waited for more than an hour but they didn’t say anything. They were trying to repair it. Getting late, I had to do my own cab to the destination. 7) When I called Customer Support, they said that refund can be done if delays are of two hours or more, the bus operator is not initiating refunds, etc. I even said that you can refund half the amount. But somehow they think that if a person is paying for an AC bus then he should atleast waste two hours so that they know the bus is really late. Due to this unprofessional behaviour by this so-called best app. I would give zero stars. But One is the minimum. POOREST Customer Support of the things going on in our country.

I booked Red Bus from Goa to Bangalore 3 seats while on the way to Bangalore our bus driver hit a bike and drove over he stopped the bus in middle of the road which leads to heavy traffic when i got down to check what hpnd the guy on the bike was spot dead and bus driver eloped we have to be there in the same location for more then 3 hours we spoke to red bus on chat and they called us back and refuse to help at night with my wife and brother on that road with other passengers and they asked us to book a different bus and go. It was a very helpless situation for me n my family that Redbus have put in the middle of the night. also we have not got any refund back as promised by Redbus. i swear i will never book anything in future with redbus. i knw its not gonna make any difference if one customer would not book with u guys but i m warning everyone to be careful and beware of this. they will never help u in need which god forbid u face like i did

Writing this review after a horrendous experience with redbus. Booked for 6 people from Goa to Pune. After making the bus booking, only boarding point information was provided, no other information was provided to us. Also the boarding point information was incorrect. We missed our bus coz of that. We had to book another private operator to get back. Contacted customer care the next day, got a response 3 days later saying I have to visit the office of the bus operator through which I booked. I don’t understand why redbus is there for then? Isn’t it the facilitator?
The redBus management team is just a group of the same people. I raised my grievance to them, they said the same thing that the previous executive said. During this time of Covid, when almost everything’s virtual, they want me to step out of the house and stand in a queue of a govt office to claim my refund . Even after I provided with all the proofs. Request everyone to not install at all. I’ll also raise this at various other forums.
Its a scam.

The experience of travelling in redbus from Surat to Jaisalmer was worst. Let me explain it in detail.
Firstly, the bus got delayed by 2 hours and the bus driver didn’t informed us before and we came to know after reaching the pick up spot that too in such cold night. Still this is not the main issue. In midway at Barmer (160 kms away from Jaisalmer), the bus driver dropped all the passengers from the AC Sleeper bus at the local city bus stop and departed us to other local city bus (Non AC, seater) fully packed in such COVID pandemic situation which dropped us almost 4 hours late. Also, the bus driver lied us that the city bus will drop us 2 hours late but actually it dropped 4 hours late.
It was my worst travelling experience till now. After reporting this issue, redbus still cannot adequately compensate their passengers. I will never recommend redbus to anyone and also request all of you to not trust their service.

I booked a ticket 🎫 from RedBus it Charge me 330/- when I contact to bus driver it says this ticket is not worth for this amount. This ticket is only 280/- including all the tax duties.
Or when I reach to bus 🚌 stand then I was confused, which person I should contact for boarding. Then I checked out my ticket 🎫 there was two number mentioned one is for boarding (when I try to call on that it says this no does not exist) or second one was RedBus Support no(when I call on this no the support team listing like.. “Yaa tell me what’s your problem.. then I said to em I’m unable to reach anyone here.. tell me which person should I contact here.. in background he was chit-chatting loudly with anyone, I was completely frustrated with RedBus Service”

I booked my ticket by redbus. Bus was very late as given time. I booked seat but when bus was coming my parent seat driver given someone and driver told its already booked. In photos bus was new but in real bus condition not good its same 2 time. After that bus has issue and bus stop on highway after two hours my parents take new bus and they have to pay again and i called to customer care and told everything and ask for refund my amount but they told amount not refund. Very bad service. After payment they can not listen your word. They only trust on driver not trust on single word of customer. Everybody know how is private bus driver. When i asked for refund my amount they clear told me amount not refund by manager from redbus. Dont use redbus you should directly reserve your seat not by redbus they cheat with us.

2. Speed of processing is very very slow. App was responding so slow that I could not complete my transaction within 5 minutes and then it said booking not done. Checked Netflix to check my phone data speed but no issue with mobile data speed.
3. UPI payment gateway has issue. In December twice it didn’t take payment from UPI, ultimately I paid via net banking.
4. Mobile operation is very slow and many errors in completing booking but works well through browser on PC/Laptop.

I had booked a bus from Bangalore to Ooty and the bus operator cancelled it at the last moment saying the bus has broken down. After calling the red bus representative we found out that we won’t even be refunded with the amount as it is the policy. We were forced to book in the other bus. The supervisor in the red bus support was also rude and was of no help. They do not think about the customer. They do not value the customer’s money and experience. A very disappointing and outrageous service. They do not own up for the lack of service provided from their end. They will blame it on the customer. When we call the bus operator they say the red bus support will help but the red bus support is useless and of no help. Why is there no policy regarding the last minute bus cancelation from the bus operator’s end ? Why is there only a policy for refund. Only when their money is involved they care and not about our money. A very sad experience for the user. I advise anyone who is reading this comment to use red bus application at their own risk as the support do not help at all.

Do not use this app. If you go offline means if you go bus stand and ask the seat price you will get to know that prices are half from red bus. Like when i booked the tickets for jaipur and I visited at boarding place, bus conductor offering same seat same facility in 500rs and i charged for 950rs. Even while you book online ticket you don’t have any other option like if bus is late (most of the time) you have to wait but in offline mode you have options you can take any bus and you can negotiate as well and you can check the comfort and services as well.
While i was returning from jaipur, my bus got changed without any prior information and the service which i charged for that was no available in that bus and when I complained in red bus they only mail me that their higher management working on this they will get back to me asap. Still no revert. So book offline save your money
That’s my experience.

Hi , I travelled last week from Kannur to Bangalore on island travels paying 1300 for AC bus. The AC was not working , it took 13 hours to reach (normally it takes max 9 hour ) so I raised a complaint , then the red bus agent refunded me 1 Rs 205 on the red bus app wallet . So when I am trying to use that amount to book one new ticket ,it says I can use only the 10 % amount for ticket booking . Red bus is really making us fool . First of all they would refund me at least 50% but they didn’t , they refunded me just 15% on my red bus wallet .they must refund me on my bank account not in a their own wallet and they say I can use only 10% on one ticket booking . Now I can’t even use that for even booking a ticket . Red bus making is fool . They ruined my whole night . I couldn’t even sleep or even breathe properly on my journey .

Bugs in iOS 13 redBus application

The keyboard gets closed most of the time before it redirect to payment gateway. To be precise when we give the payment detail. I can’t even type my CCV. If you are in a hybrid platform please check your keyboard plugin. And when internet is not available please say that error message rather than showing no buses in this route. It’s ridiculous since the browser version shows tons of buses in the same route at same time.
And you have lot of fraud buses running in your app. I’ve not received once refund for money where a bus didn’t even showed up and I missed my flight and once I’ve even got into a bus where the bus operators are goons and they abuse the passengers and tell some random reasons like bus got technical issues, bus has no insurance. Then they will ask the passengers to leave the bus in the middle of the highway. I’ve given a report and I’ve called your customer care. But there is no response.
The reason am giving three stars instead of one is for the hard work of the developers. Not because of your customer care and satisfaction.

I had the nightmare of booking my bus ticket via redbus. These people are modern day dacoits. I booked 3 sleeper tickets for my native place. The bus which i was provided was leaking and the conductor didnt bring the bus to the before mentioned boarding point. It was raining as hell and i was left drenching by a rude conductor and no response from redbus as the concerned bus didnt have any GPS tracker and this was informed to me when i was about to board the bus. I had two ladies travelling with me and this didnt seemed necessary for redbus to provide me a bus that could atleast be tracked. When i boarded the bus there was water leaking from roof of my seat. I complained but conductor said all buses have same problem. When i resisted and called redbus the executive said bear it as it will dry up in some time. I some how reached halfway of my destination and left the bus at lucknow. All this might be at travel partners end but When i asked redbus about my compalint they simply had no answer and kept on postponing my case because the issue wasnt serious to them. I will be deleting this app and strongly recommend u not to book via redbus. They are real life theives.

I had booked my bus from pune to surat and my pickup point was hinjewadi bridge i was waiting from last 45 at the pickup point and then i called the bus driver he told me very rudely that we already reached at talegon toll naka. Then i contacted the red bus but they are like we dont care only whole night i suffered still i am calling them they had not picked up my call only then they dont have any courtesy also that they will call me back after calling them from
last night. Still i didn’t get my refund i had wasted my 700 bucks that is not small amount. So people please dont book your bus tickets from red bus firstly they will not provide you the right information and secondly they will not pick up your call and you will never get the refund back also.

The moment I paid for the ticket just half an hour before starting of travel time of 9:15am from panipat to ludhiana on 19th March, the next screen was showing delayed arrival of bus at 10:15.. When they knew the bus was running late by 1 hour as info Canadian have already given access of GPS TRACKING of their fleet. Why do they cheat by not informing the delay before booking of the tickets of bus which has already commenced trip...
We stand in a SUN FOR ALMOST 90 MINUTES BEFORE GETTING IN THE BUS.
When asking about compensation for this trouble, supervisor who was connected by call center employee, ended up with stupid talks and arguments.. Call center employees were more courteous and listening then her supervisor.. He does not deserve this seat... I would like to demand full refund and additional compensation for standing on a road and in sun for the waiting and compensation for showing wrong chart of seat selection was also showing executive seats and it turned out to be sleeper coach highly invovinient for day travel..

Booked bus from Bangalore to mangalore .
Bus pickup time was at 9.10 . I was there in location at 8.45 . No intimation call from
Driver neither message from redBus . Somehow my call got connected to customer care with long pause (poor service ) he said bus is on the way ( due to trafic) it will reach in another 10, hé gave driver number as well . When I spoke him he said bus I already some where else they forget to pick me ( with laugh ) and asked me to come to his location which is 10km away from my place and said to reach in 5min he can’t wait more. I tried reach customer care for seeking help but no response from customer care aswell . I knw there is technical difficulties but irresponsibility by operator is not accepted . Booked my ticket from Bangalore to Tiruchendur on 25th January by paying double the amount (No one regulates them on the pricing as well) specially in weekends and when it is high demand. I got the confirmation message and updates about boarding point. When I went to board the bus, my name was not there in trip sheet and the travels never allowed me to board the bus and I’ve to take another bus by paying nearly ₹2k. Some other parties has taken booked the ticket after me i.e. 26th January 2019 morning around 11a.m. has issued the ticket by extracting more money. Now I’ve been calling (till now more than 4 times) the customer care agent, they are not giving proper resolutions and money has not yet refunded. This RedBus company loots money and they have no business ethics or values. This is not the first time, earlier also is similar experience and they apologised and given opportunity, but they take the customers for ride. At least now, do something!

Booked a bus from pune to mumbai on 9th jan amount got deducted from my paytm account and i didn't get any ticket had to go to bus stop and book ticket again for the trip. Amount was Not refunded within 4 days too, called the redbus customer care and Got Confirmation that i will get my refund within 2-7 Business days,Got A Mail,sms, WhatsApp All stating that refund is initiated within 2-7 days starting 14th jan. Today is 23rd Jan. Now the Automated Replies of there whatsapp official account is also not helping and Customer care isn't tollfree too. Already wasted 20 ₹ before talking to them,now again? It's not about 20₹ it's about customer Satisfaction. firstly no providing any ticket on time and then not giving the refund within the desired period too. Frustrated with this experience Never Gonna redbus again!

First they will book your ticket at average price and they they will cancel your ticket before your journey date. Now here is trap what will you do either you have to cancel pre plan trip or you have to book a new ticket they will sale the same ticket almost double price by changing the name of bus agencies. They are manipulating bus rating too . In my last journey I booked 4.3 rating bus but guess what.. I experienced one of worst travel experience.. no water.. no blankets.. no bedsheet on bed . Only I get excuse and excuse.. the amount of dust on entire bus seat was more than my doormat . So if you are booking ticket through this app never sit ideal .. always keep second option. Try to avoid journey with your family if you book ticket through this app else you will regret forever.., hope this will be helpful..

Yday when I booked my ticket from Vijayawada to Bangalore in Morning Star travels, I was shocked to see that I booked a seat reserved for ladies. I thought I had made a mistake while booking.. but now as I checked the User interface I realised that the reserved seats especially for ladies is very close to the normal seat legend!! And once selected the gender selection UI is also not at all correct. One cannot make the difference whether they have selected male or female. This issue has caused a great amount of mental disturbance during the journey both for me and my co-passengers who apparently is also pregnant. I felt very ashamed in the situation with everyone blaming me.
I am seeking an explanation from concerned people in due time. Else, I would like to escalate the issue to concerned officials and seek justice.

Actually today morning i came from delhi to jalandhar . But by mistake i forgot my milton water bottle in the bus, which is very close to me, i called up to the chauffer after 5 mints he said that they have checked but bottle not find yet and now his number is switched off, i checked with the company they said number will be on after 8 so i will call him after 8 to ask for the bottle, tonight i am going back to the delhi with the same bus , bus has cameras also which make me feel gud that my bottle will not be losed because cameras are there. So this was all about my first journey about 2 nd journey i will write tomorrow, i hope chauffer will be the hero in tomorrow review his name Mr Rakesh Kumar PB 1 A 6491, golden temple volvo bus service.

Booked a bus from Chennai to Coimbatore. An hour before scheduled departure bus rep calls to say departure is preponed and if i will get there by then and on being informed that I can’t he says ok and cuts the call. Few mins later I get a message from the operator saying they have waited enough and won’t wait anymore! In disgust I cancelled my trip as I wouldnt be able to make it and raised a concern. Redbus just kept sending mails saying they have spoken to the operator and the matter is sorted but here I am having spent 900 rupees, been trashed, responded to so many mails with no avail and the matter is far from resolved as I haven’t got my monrymmey back. It was quite obvious they were resorting to the cancellation norms wherein if u cancel an hour before departure they dont have to refund the money and then they sell that seat to someone else at a higher charge. This is daylight robbery and to think the authorities are blind about this or turning their heads the other way. All in all Redbus is a waste of time and their customer service is pathetic and that one experience turned me off from their app and deleted the same. Its easier and a lot less hassle to book direct with the operators.

We booked a bus ticket in city travels on 17th oct from Chennai to trichy . The booking was made two weeks early and we received a confirmation SMS too. So on 16th my husband checks with the onboard place with bus operator he says there is no service like that at 2pm please check with redBus. Now we call redbus customer care the person named Franklin says sorry there is no service it seems get an alternative bus on your own we will refund the cash. If we have not checked early we could have ended up standing in bustand with my 3 year old daughter without a bus during Diwali. Now 17th we made alternative arrangements and on the way to trichy one executive after our complaint in online calls us and tells there can't be refund we spoke to the operator and bus service is there for 2pm.. this is nonsense. Come on there was no fault from our end losing our money is not fare so refund it asap.
