Zero Storage Usage
• Auto-remove cached media. You can choose how long cached media is kept in Private Chats, Groups, and Channels – and add exceptions for specific chats.

I love all the cool features and the way everything is designed. Only issue is , I am seeing some type of memory leakage. You can literally freeze someones phone by giving them multiple missed calls in telegram back to back . This issue is mostly observed in older iphones . We can’t use Telegram’s best channel and groups because we can not easily find. That’s the big failure against other app.
Please give feature or a place where we can find the channel and group by Category so user can easily select their interest related channels and groups.
Top liked, joined and growing channels or group will be shown first on the list.
If this feature will come then definitely user will use telegram more and will use in right and useful way. User can easily access the new content by their interest.

I love telegram. The journey so far has been amazing. Telegram packs the best UI in all messengers till date and I love it being so feature packed n growing. But lately they’ve been launching good features locked behind a paywall. I don’t mind telegram peddling premium as they do need a decent revenue source, but EVERYTHING is being released as premium first.
Nothing worthwhile in the past month was launched as a free update. It’s a bit disheartening. Show us some love too, pls.

I would like to thank you for being a great app for being in touch with my friends n family. My first texting app always is Telegram coz it has some cool features that I miss in other apps.
But I would like to request for an important feature that is missing in Telegram, but available in other major texting apps, which is support for Focus mode that came in iOS 15.
It allows user to add a person for bypassing the DND or whatever the Focus mode is. Now if I add a person, I won’t be getting any telegram pings from that person. But if I add Telegram app to Focus mode exceptions, then entire Telegram chat messages will be getting notified to which is utterly disappointing.
Kindly add this support for Telegram.

The voice call feature is a total mess as of now, there is a weird delay which causes discontinuity , it would take like 3 -4 seconds for the person on the other end to hear me.
And sometimes it shows incoming call banner even though I’m already on the call ,please look into those issues.

I’ve been using this app for regularly few months now, everything is great. There are way more features than other apps. Nut there are few issues which I observed.
1. Last seen/ online badge issue : sometimes this works perfectly and shows last seen time in hours. But sometimes it shows that the next person is online while in reality they are offline. This takes around 5 mins to reflect the offline status. Also If I have to check the actual time the person was last online I have to go into contact info and then I can check the time.
2. App crash : This one is more annoying. Whenever I try to search a sticker it crashes. Also if the sticker has some animation when we tap on it, then also sometimes the app either lags or crashes.

A query : when I send a file from my iPad to other devices, via telegram, the name of file changes. Filename does not remain same. That feature I can’t understand. Can something be done to modify this?

There’s one thing that Telegram can teach you, and that is how one utterly useless feature can turn a Really good product into a complete mess. Developers, if you are reading this, I request you to remove the “XYZ joined Telegram” notification.
This is honestly the only reason that is stopping me from using Telegram over WhatsApp, and trust me all my friends gave me the same reason for not making the switch to Telegram. We honestly do not need to know who joined, we will figure it out if we want to talk to them. And moreover you still give me notifications for the people who were attached to my work database on my personal account.
Again, remove this one annoyance and I will give you a 5 Star rating.

After updating, the quality of the personal call has decreased significantly. The other person’s and my voice has become so low that we have to put microphones in our mouths. The background is now so silent that I went into a deep void of loneliness.
Now the colours and the backgrounds have also changed drastically even though I’m not able to point out what’s different but still it’s very different from the previous one.
The app looks very white and very dark at the same time which hurts my eyes.
Please fix this issue, the previous version of telegram was much better.

Telegram is the messenger for tomorrow. Cloud was their USP when they started years ago. Now they have almost everything we need with best security. Expressive and custom made stickers on telegram are incomparable. Multiple device login made life easier with telegram. Some of their competitors made that possible in July 2021 when telegram had it since 2014. Inbuilt publishers, storage, music player, photo editor and what not.

I’ve been using multiple account in my telegram app, for my college and personal and dunno all of a sudden I stopped receiving notifications from telegram app and every 5 min I had to check the app if I have any messages, I’ve even checked the notification settings all are fine but the app doesn’t give me notifications that’s my concern do look into it

There is an issue in software. Suppose, I have a contact named ‘xyz’ saved in my phone contacts. When I open telegram app it appears in contacts list. Until now it’s ok. But when I delete that contact (xyz in this case) from my phone’s contact, it should not appear anymore in contact list of telegram. Contact lists from telegram should refresh every time when I open this telegram app and it should reflect or show names of contacts which are currently in phone’s contact and should not show contacts which are deleted previously. Please take care of this in next update

when i install the telegram and used it .i forgot all the app to used such as (instagram,whatsapp,twitter ) because this make me more easier and more exiting app (from my experience everyone should used it instead of whatsapp,instagram,facebook,twitter). 1) Bring the status feature 'cause it's the need of the time. Every other app has it and we want it very much if we had to replace WhatsApp.
2) Give people choice for the seen message or unseen message blue tick mark like the one which we have on WhatsApp.
3) If someone chooses not to show their online status (or last seen) then it also should not look like last seen recently.

I’m using telegram past few days and I noticed whenever users joining in telegram app it is notifying me and which is more annoying that i felt. Also, even I have a good network/bandwidth signal still I’m not receiving the messages on time. I feel there is a dealt in receiving the messages. I request team to consider my points and I would be really comfortable if you fix the above mentioned. Looking forward to use this app for a long time. Thank you in advance.

To me telegram is a most important app and it’s my every minute routine it’s a perfect app for everything but there was 2 draw back issue one was off voice chat which u people did a great job in updating that and I loved it and the another one the major draw back is a limited storage for a single chat dude r u serious this should be updated it’s an major draw back for the space for a perticular chat I need to delet previous chat by whic I may loose some important data off that perticular chat and if u plz look into this matter that would be a great thing everything security voice chat everything is perfect but the only thing limited storage for a single chat plz look into the matter and solve it as soon as possible seriously except this draw back I love telegram and seriously its my every minute routine

Telegram is a very supportive, safe and fun environment. It has the ability of many things, the emoji animation for starters. And the new video call update is amazing. It’s just such a fun thing I am half of the time on. I guess the advantage is that when we have a phone but no sim we can use a no. From a known person and invite friends and share locations.
The disadvantage is that it takes a lot of time to upgrade the messages and connect to the internet. I for once waited for a long time but no vail. Besides that telegram is a very lovely platform.

On one side you promote it as an Indian messenger app that everyone should use against foreign apps. But, on the other hand, you don’t even care to maintain the basic requirements. I have read multiple complaints regarding the crash of this app. So did I face from last few days! Every time you download something, app crashes each time you open it. Developers!! Haven’t you read reviews? Don’t you do something to improve it? What’s the meaning of such an app that you can’t use? Either fix this issue or your app will be lost in forthcoming days! Telegram with its wonderful features is working wonders. Very good App to maintain a large group like School/College Alumni Groups. Unlike WhatsApp, Admins have sufficient control to maintain decorum in the Group.
Suggestion: As a Group grows in size with more members and more Admins, the Normal Group automatically becomes a Super Group where members are not allowed to delete specific messages personally (as they did in WhatsApp). When Admins delete a message it gets deleted for all the members. This particular feature for members to delete specific messages may be allowed in Super Groups also. Thank you.
Trouble in saving files and downloading

As we save files or during the downloading of a file which os around 500mb or more the telegram lost its server and stop downloading or the worst part is the download option stop responding this is something that i have not seen in last version of telegram so fix this kind of big as soon as possible because i am getting frustrated now

Anyone can delete messages in a chat, whether sent by you or the other person. This makes the chat history absolutely unreliable. And how the hell any message app can give a right to someone else to delete my messages from my device that I have sent. It’s a complete abuse of developer creativity. You might as well create a separate app like snapchat that doesn’t have any history to begin with.
This would have been my go to app after WhatsApp, but the features of the delete option ruins it .....

Amazing app. Very useful cloud storage. Multiple device support. I have been using Telegram for years now and everything has been just great with things improving with each update. But I just have one issue or bug that is just so annoying to look at.
I am experiencing this issue on iPad 7th Generation (10.2)
Issue: In landscape mode, which is frankly what I use my iPad in, there is no gap at all between the top system bar with date, time and battery and the top bar of telegram application which has things like edit, chats, settings options.
This looks so bad and cheap and frankly starts the experience of your app on a bad note. My friend, who installed the app on my recommendation, pointed it out to me.
Please fix this. Aesthetic is a big part of your app over other competitors.

Hi, this is my fav messaging app now a days. It having more features and lot of options. But one thing that it hadn’t a opinion of msg reading intimation like whatsapp. Whatsapp having the single tick option for once msg sent from sender and when msg sent and receiver got that msg it shows double tick. Once Receiver read that msg it shows double tick with blue colour..
But that double tick with blue colour option is not in telegram.. I need that option for telegram..Waiting for your next update with blue tick option

U love this app for as user security ( u choose to hidden ur mob nmbr/DP choose to hidden unknown ppl.
So much features like editing txt after send, send txt wen user online, save imp msg to cloud, reminder msg, Disappearing msg in secret chat, msg folder, animogi, channel/bots.

This app has literally given a platform for scammers across the globe the power to extort money without any kind of record.
The so called ‘groups’ have thousands of fake subscribers that give you the impression that this group can be trusted.
Once you pay for whatever you want to purchase from this group, the mesaages can be automatically deleted and once you’re blocked it’s game over for you.
You can’t even take a screenshot by the time the messages get deleted.
If after reading this review you still download this app for the little buying and selling platform you think is gonna get you the subscirptions at cheap rates , Just know I told you so and you’re gonna regret downloading this stupid app.
Please buy original whatever you want , and dont think for a second that the app developer are gonna take any kind of responsibility in shutting these scammers down

All is good except one thing .. whenever i put anything in download and if i have to use another app .. the download would not be continued .. it would stop and while something is downloading and you put your phone in side with screen lock again you will face the same problem.. I request to developer that please solve these queries ..

3-No spoke to see whether the other person’s net is on or off like there is always a single tick whn u send a message it turns to double tick when the other person saw ur message .
Problems That Need To Be Fixed-
1-Sometimes with great internet speed the app on the chat screen shows connecting n updating which it never finishes
2-Mosth of the time notifications doesn’t appear as pop up instead it just shows on the app icon when notifications frm it is turned on
3-Sometimes after getting out of the app also it appears as online till 4 to 5 mins
4-Sending photos n videos are too slow here
Apart from this things the app is great . I will request the telegram team to see to this things n give a update as soon as possible...
Much better than Whatsapp !!! Must have in phone.

This is a must to have app in phone. It is much better than whatsapp. If I starting giving reasons, I can list more than 50 reasons 😀 .. how it is better than whatsapp.
People have just got used to whatsapp and are stuck with whatsapp because most of their contacts are on whatsapp. But I have got it installed with most of my friends and family and now everyone is using telegram.

Disturbing behaviour of the application. I had selected Forever option in settings to keep data. It was also written that data is stored on cloud and could be retrieved also.
Suddenly today application stop showing any media in the application. Whereas in settings it was showing 1.4 gb of cache media. I cleared the cache hoping it to be retrieved from cloud again.
To my surprise only today’s chat was there nothing else and application clearly says it keeps data in cloud.
This is so disturbing as either it should retrieve it or data should be cleared from servers too.
I want clarification of this issue.

Best one messenger ever. I have been using from a long time and day by day several updates make it superb in market. The most amazing and cool feature is secure, safe and very convenient to use. Here also many channels are available where all the clips, videos and msgs are save on cloud. So anytime we can join the channel and anytime we can leave the channel. All the data ll be available on channels. So truly I love this app. 😍😍😍😍😍😍

The one & only issue, I face with this otherwise awesome app is that I can’t download a thing with my display off. I use an iphone 7 and the download gets paused the moment i swipe up or switch to another chat or locks my screen!! Its kinda annoying to have to keep your phone on and drain your battery. I asked around and not many have this issue but I still can’t figure out whats wrong. So if you could help me resolve that, It would be a wonderful help.

When we minimize the app, downloading is getting stopped. In the earlier times, downloading will be continued at least if we are in the app, but now a days if we want to continue downloading we must stay on the file downloading file without scrolling up or down , we must look at that file itself and we cannot do any other activities.. this is not fair we cant always stay by looking at the downloading without doing any other activities... and also even if we didn’t minimize and if the screen gets locked, still the downloading will be stopped.. i hope the new updation will fix the issue.. or is this problem only for me??

The channel available on telegram is not satisfactory..
The channel list of channel created should not be visible to the receiver. Once we send a message in channel the person should receive as a private message. He should not know that it is a broadcast. Try to change the channel with this type of feature or create a new option other than channel for broadcast with this type of options✌🏼

I had installed this app if you months ago, and then had to uninstall it because then at that point of time there was no VoiceOver support. I am very happy to note that now VoiceOver supports quite a few fields of this app. But, still there is a need to improve support for a few things such as labelling the buttons with text. Options to go out of a dialoguebox are still not accessible with voiceover. I have to close the app in order to get out of dialogueboxes. I can’t seem to subscribe to a particular group because the buttons to do so are not labelled. Request you to look into it all.

I wish i could go back to the 5.3 version! This update has completely messed up Telegram I loved so much. I am not getting notifications for new messages anymore. Also, earlier, my app locked itself when I switched to another app or exited Tele, now its open for the world to see. I changed my passcode and also toggled my settings in hopes for it to work. Nothing! Still the same. I know I can manually lock chats and also wait for the set time for the auto lock to come on but thats just so bleh! Please roll out an update soon that fixes these problems. PLEASE!

The app is good but after the update the app doesn't open with password. The enter password screen keeps up popping. Later I fixed it by uninstalling it. Now there is a Online badge error and last seen badge error. The person was actually last seen say before an hour but on the chat screen it shows online sometimes but when you tap on that person's name you will see he is actually not online. Also sometimes the person is last seen on his personal chat window some minutes ago but on list chat screen it will say last seen 5 hours ago. Badly need a fix for this please.

A beautiful app designed the way a user would love to use a messaging service. Simplistic approach with a complex design.
I would love to see a feature in groups, wherein admins of the group (collectively) can block messaging in the group for a certain time window.
Backstory: most of the groups now a days are being used by society/community members, schools, colleges, offices etc. The primary need of these groups is just to pass information rather than having informal discussion. However the most common problem that happens in these groups is someone would start a sensitive topic and arguments and debates escalates.
So if admins have rights to close discussions in a group for some time, when such topics/debates arise that would cool off the members momentary temper.
I being a member of many such groups, think that this feature would be a great value add and to my knowledge none other messaging apps had this feature. I know that the chances of someone notices this review and read it completely are very thin, but still hope that this gets addressed.
But this is a great app!

The online badge stays long after the person has gone offline, there’s alot of issues with the last seen & so many bugs recently this was never an issue a few months ago when i started using this app and shifted from whatsapp to telegram
also video calling not being available is a bummer but that’s not much of an issue as the online badge one. hope this gets fixed soon it is really annoying sometimes.

I have started using telegram recently and i think it is way cooler than other leading chatting apps. The only major problem i see is evertime i restart my phone, the app goes into configuration mode and asks to generate otp to let me use the app. it can be a security feature but it kills the experience altogether. why in the world would i like to see that screen ? its my phone, i can restart it n number of times and everytime i do that telegram bugs me! plz do something about it.

Very fluid, easy and fascinating user interface with good and smooth running experience. But the only issue this app has is most often when the app is in background or not in use doesn’t shows notifications for new messages. Pls pls fix this issue as I completely rely on this beautiful app for my communication. And pls also include animated stickers like viber has.
