Goons as vendors

The app hasn’t even acknowledged my complaint even after making me submit 100s of proofs. The trust seal vendor did not deliver my product in 7 months and is also not refunding my money.

That too - after I had to do almost everything and followed up at least 80 times. The vendor - Decoporium by Metal Craft’s owner is a goon who is extremely rude and has literally asked me to come to Moradabad if it’s that urgent to pick the goods up. After 7 months !! On a delivery promise of 12 days. And these guys have been given a Trust Seal by India Mart. What a sham!!! To top it up, when I said that I will be forced to take legal action then I was wished “best of luck” as India Mart cannot do anything to them!!!

Service Deficiency and Irrelevant Leads

We onboarded IndiaMART services with clear expectations based on the commitments made by the sales team. However, our overall experience has not been satisfactory.

The leads provided were not aligned with our business category, which affected the usefulness of the service. Additionally, certain deliverables promised during onboarding, such as proper catalogue support, were not fully met.

We made multiple follow-ups to resolve these concerns, but the outcome did not meet our expectations. As a result, the service did not add value to our business.

We hope IndiaMART improves transparency in sales commitments and ensures better alignment between what is promised and what is delivered, so that future customers have a better experience.

For the last 1-2 months I am facing some problem in my iPhone iOS application like buyleads & lead manager, I am complaining in Delhi head office for the last 1-2 months but still no solution is coming, even after updating to latest version 13.6.6, solution is not coming, so I request Indiamart team to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

I was onboarded to become a seller partner on Indiamart 1 month ago they told me we will develop your catalogue and give you leads for bulk order as you are a manufacturer and once I was onboarded as seller still my Catalogue is not developed and also the sales lead which they are providing are retail leads. I think I wasted my money, I could have got better retail leads if I had invested the same amount of money in google ads

I purchased plan, and now four months till using plan and no response totally provide fake leads, and when you contact customer care or customer support then this will not help you. Making excuse and waste your time and when you tired and ask for remanning month refund then said no refund. Aggressive Sales Tactics & therefore Non-Renewal of Subscription

*Unacceptable Sales Harassment:*

sales team began harassing us with renewal calls and messages 6 months before our subscription was even due for renewal. Despite multiple clear and explicit requests to stop contacting us until closer to the actual renewal date, the calls and messages continued relentlessly.

This behavior was not only unprofessional but deeply disrespectful and humiliating to both myself and my team. We were treated not as valued clients, but as targets to be persistently hounded for money.

*Complete Disregard for Client Boundaries:*

We communicated in no uncertain terms that we did not wish to be solicited for renewal prematurely. Our requests were completely ignored. Your team showed zero respect for our time, our clearly stated preferences, or basic professional courtesy.

*Zero Focus on Service Quality:*

What is most disappointing is that throughout our subscription period, not once did your team reach out to understand our needs, address service gaps, or work on improving our experience. The only time we heard from IndiaMART was when it was time to extract money from us.

This clearly demonstrates that client satisfaction means nothing to your organization—only revenue matters.

*Pathetic & Humiliating Experience:*

The entire experience has been thoroughly degrading. Being treated as nothing more than a revenue source, having our boundaries violated repeatedly, and receiving zero genuine service support has left us with no option but to terminate our association with IndiaMART.

Indiamart is a platform of daylight robbery

My experience with IndiaMART has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. It feels like their only goal is to take your money — not to provide the services they promise. Once the payment is made, the support simply vanishes. You’re left chasing people who either don’t understand your concern or don’t care enough to respond.

Their so-called “account managers” change faster than seasons, and each new person starts the story from scratch. Complaints go unanswered, promises remain unfulfilled, and you’re left wondering how a company of this scale can operate with such poor ethics.

IndiaMART gives you the illusion of connecting with bulk buyers, but in reality, it’s just a money trap with zero accountability. It’s disheartening to see how they misuse trust and hard-earned money under the guise of business support.

In short — beware. Their service is pathetic, their response is careless, and their system is broken. What they’re doing feels less like business and more like daylight robbery.

Extremely Disappointed – Fake Leads, False Promises & No Support

I had a terrible experience with IndiaMART. Their service is completely misleading and a waste of money. Here are the major issues I faced:

They wasted my money 32K and they never told me to take monthly pakage for trial they are just target oriented and after Sale they just don’t care.

Few points i felt below:-

1.Fake and Irrelevant Leads: Most of the leads I received were either completely fake or from third-party companies that had no genuine buying interest. This is a B2B scam in the name of business growth.

2.Zero Customer Response: After signing up, I received no proper customer support or assistance. Once they receive your money, their support and accountability completely vanish.

3.False Sales Promises: During the sales call, I was clearly told I would get leads from Kolkata, as that was my target market. However, not a single lead came from Kolkata – all irrelevant and useless contacts from other regions.

4.Misleading Commitments: They made big promises before payment, but none were fulfilled. When I raised these issues, all I got was scripted responses and no resolution.

5.Complete Lack of Accountability: When I asked for a refund due to non-performance, they refused to take any responsibility. I am now considering legal action if this matter is not resolved.

IndiaMART has lost my trust, and I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before signing up. Their practices feel deceptive and profit-driven, with no real value offered to small businesses.

Very much disappointed from Indiamart.! Employees there don’t know how the our product related market performs and they make fake promises snd gaurentees like they are going to buy the product if we buy their service.! I bought 3years service with 80k all gone to waste.! If i have invested their same money in their stock market i would have got better results and profits.! Be careful guys if you know your market is good and more demanding you can go for their services.! Otherwise its waste of your money.! Indiamart needs to degrade Fraudster

Initially i thought what a great app it is. It is, but it doesn’t ensure you that you will meet genuine people through it. I met Adobe Industrial System’s owner Manoj Goyal(fraud) whom i gave my sample order to be done. But he didnt and for returning my product he asked me to pay money and i paid it. His rating is 4.2 on Indiamart but he deserves 0actually. I contacted Indiamart but it didn’t take any action against him. Now who will pay me the amount which I had to paid to that fraudster. Indiamart should degrade his rating. Not only me doing complaint but please check his reviews section. People got duped. Kindly help

No help, just formality follow ups by team

After using basic plan of indiamart for one year where i didnt get any business, i had been wrongly forced and duped into buying a 3-year trust seal plan guaranteeing daily lead calls, better leads and better RM but nothing fell into place. There were just eyewash follow up calls from the team which helped in nothing and just as always stated to ‘keep using more’. No strategy, no constructive corrections. And spl to mention Mr Ravi who i believe is the delhi region head gave his personal assurance for business growth and to personally monitor my profile but never have i heard from him in the last 1.5 years of the trust seal membership.

Useless for me, please think twice before subscribing

The customer service is literally so down bad

I recently found a manufacturer on IndiaMART who was verified and recommended by IndiaMART. After discussing my order, I made the payment as agreed. The manufacturer initially responded and started the manufacturing process. However, after a few days, they completely stopped responding to my calls and messages, ignoring me entirely.

This is highly unprofessional and unethical behavior. I trusted this manufacturer due to their verification, but they turned out to be a scammer. I strongly warn others to stay away and not do business with them unless they want to risk losing their money.

Fraud seller

The first seller that I got on it is a scamster. There’s this company called Galaxy Printer/Colorfly Advertising that is operating as a scam business. They will accept your order first then after some time they will tell you that two products are coming so pay for both. And after that they’ll tell you to keep paying for unexplained nonsensical reasons and will threaten you to not give you the product unless you pay up. Beware of this scam because it’s getting very common among these scamsters. I request Indiamart to look into this matter and find a solution for this wrong methods of extracting money from innocent people.

Nice and a quick app to get buyer and seller together

I have been using IndiaMart since about a couple of years. I have done successful buying of many items for my organization since these two years.

Till now I have got genuine sellers all the time. And I thank all the people at IndiaMart to get the genuine sellers whom a customer like me can trust on.

I would appreciate if a way could be created for payments to these sellers. This would help a customer not to get cheated at anytime.

From that moment , he is not answering my call. . Fraud listings

Indiamart has listed dealers without authentication. They are just cheaters who are using internet numbers to contact customers. I saw a medicine which was listed on indiamart since its nt even launched in india yet. Drug is still under trials and indiamart is selling it. When dealer contacted me he sent me photos of that drug downloaded from internet. They asked me to transfer money instantly so they could process the order. That drug costs 50k rs and they asked me for 7500/ bcz they dont even know what are they doing. I was well informed about it so i didnt proceed with that. Any layman would get instantly scammed. This app should be banned!!!!!

Once you purchase it, they charge you more. Lots of hidden charges

In the name of upgrading they are reducing service 1) international buyleads were free but in middle of contract they said it was complimentary and now if you want to use it you need to pay 2) catalogue views means whoever visited your catalog you can see and check which means you can see it was authentic but now you can’t check that and you need to purchase via buyleads also they was change in middle of contract. So such changes were made while customers had already paid. So tomorrow morning you can accept them to charge for login too maybe saying it was complimentary

WORST people. Platform has merit.

I have used Indiamart platform for over 2 years. Here are my experiences

1. There sales team is living on false promises and commitments. They always try to upscale things and give you false commitments like free HD quality product catalogue, HD product images , great visibility etc. but the sales person who promised never showed up once I paid for subscription.

2. They say they will assign a dedicated executive who will handle your account. It’s a blatant lie. The executive shows up only to fulfil his/her target. He is a useless person who doesn’t know anything.

3. You will get specific leads to your products. But they will map your product to such keywords that not at all relate to you. For example I was doing Organic Vermicompost.

Now they mapped organic key word. It started getting me leads of organic vegetable, organic fruits but hardly any organic vermicompost.

4. The managers are pest at the time of renewal. They will call you indiscriminately until you renew. Also to renew they will show you false data.

5. Cost of subscription is way higher. If you guys lower it down, you might get more business.

6. The sales people do not share all the services at time of onboarding and sell you inferior product. Which ultimately you will upgrade. So here they make extra cash.

Few positive

1. Platform is meritorious and you will get leads but the services that they charge, they should lower down the cost. Ultimately only user has to manage his/her account.

2. Few people at Indiamart are great help. But if you are lucky then only you will get one.

Suggestion to users.

Whenever you are discussing to buy any service from INDIAMART , put it on paper and mail. All the commitments they give, ask them to put it across mail with all pointers.

They will insist to share catalogue of their services, but ask them to share pointers that they discussed.

In this case you can take action against them if any service is not fulfilled.

Waste of Money

Basically It is a fraud , continuously visits the shops assures you that you will make a great business and as soon as you become a registered client they just forget you no visits are made, mostly fake enquiry the enquires are made by the indiamart employees only the become the customer and do all these nuisance. Before registering they promise you that if you doesn't like working with them you can leave any time you want, but from last 15 days i am continuously contacting them for removing subscription they are just not listening to it and the lady on call LAXMI is her name she only speaks like a tape recorder the steps to follow to consume buy leads nothing else she just not listen what you are saying she just speaks what she wants to speak. The sales person AMIT who came to me for registration also is not helping and his manager SAMEER is totally not responding to any of my complaints. when they comes to your shop they assure you that what ever you want as a customer they will do for you but as soon as you pay the whole scenario changes. Suggest to never join Indiamart and don't let them have your money.

Company Name change

We attempted to register our LLP under the old Proprietor's name, but the domain and trademark were unavailable, forcing us to change the company name. Despite these legitimate changes, IndiaMART has been unable to provide a viable solution for updating our company name on their platform. This has caused unnecessary complications for our business and has been a frustrating experience.

I’ve been using IndiaMART's 3-year Maximiser plan, but encountered significant challenges when trying to update my company registration from a Proprietorship to an LLP. IndiaMART insists that the GST number must remain the same to update the company name, which is impractical because our LLP has its own PAN card and unique company name, making it impossible to use the same GST number as the old Proprietorship.

IndiaMART should consider revising their policies to better accommodate businesses undergoing structural changes, as the current process does not account for the complexities of real-world business needs.

Poor Service

Very Bad cheap service, take subscription charges first then don't provide relevant buy leads, when do mail for stop the service then take 120 hrs for process, type in mail that call back in 24 hrs but nevar call i have to call customer care and when i told that refund the subscription charges which take in advance then told no refund, use the services and consume buy leads which is not relevant with our products, only cheating no value of customers only Intrest in customer’s money not in customer problem, very poor service and also poor customer care executive, cut the call within discussion, never seen such a poor service.

This application is designed to give leads to sellers, and you cannot control how many people will call you or how your number is spread among sellers. In a single day, I received more than 60 calls, which is both crazy and annoying. You cannot manage the volume of calls, and your phone will buzz constantly throughout the day. It becomes impossible to stay on another call because there is always another incoming call beeping in.

Cheat and horrified experience

I am extremely disappointed with IndiaMART. For the past three months, we've expressed dissatisfaction, and for the last two months, we've tried to discontinue the services without success. Our concerns have been ignored, and the unprofessionalism is unacceptable. For the last four months, there have been no prospects, and all the inquiries have been fake. The contacts are either not interested, do not pick up calls, claim they haven't searched for such services, or have not received the services within a minute of our call. Despite numerous calls and time invested, our brand image and attention have been severely hampered, and we haven't received the promised association with IndiaMART. Our experience has been horrifying and filled with delay tactics. I strongly advise against using IndiaMART's services based on our terrible experience. Do not get listed n they Wl trick you for year engagement despite we clearly stated we Wl try one month and than decide to go long term .. We have been charged form last 4 months 3000 rs ans they r not ready to discontinue too .. I strongly advise against using IndiaMART’s services based on our terrible experience.

Lot of fraudulent and untrusted app

I purchased a product through Indiamart seller and before making payment I contacted Indiamart customer care to check with the seller authenticity as he had ask me to pay through gpay link and as I was not satisfied with seller response ,and as he had also used a gst number of some other company, after sharing the details of the seller to the Indiamart customer care executive he said seller is a verified seller of Indiamart and ask me to go ahead with payment after which I proceeded with payment and then the seller dined the delivery of the product and then he switched off his phone when contacted to Indiamart and raised a complaint against the seller there is no response from their end and after attaching the valid proof of all conversations ,also there is no response from Indiamart and the seller is still active with different id and company name , No action has been taken till now this after repeated calls and mails , I kindly request not to fall prey for fraud sellers as Indiamart will not intervene and solve the issue .worst company and no customer value and support.

Ordered mounjari tirezepatide injection from verified seller.. after payment done, seller said my account was hacked and we do not sell pharmacy products.. and I didn’t received any money.. i sent 7500 advance payment..then i contacted customer service of indiamart. Firstly they said they will help. They asked me for proof about payment transaction and chat .. i sent every document every proof. Later on after 10 to12 days they closed my complaint by saying I didn’t sent them tracking details.. where my order was not even placed by seller as it was fake .. and again customer service gave fake reason to close my complaint..

After registered and purchased a package on indiamart.. i did not even get a single deal confirmed in entire year package and particularly one tele caller from Indiamart named “ANIMESH PANDEY” misbehaved with me even after i warned him too.. i told that i will complaint to ur company abt ur behaviour.. he said ok go complain.. this is absolutely a worst way behaviour from a well named Indiamart company.. so i am going to cancel my package also from today.. and i never wanted to take any of these company packages.. there are many other companies who are competing with this company.. i will take their help to grow my business instead of facing these kind of rude behaviour from this type of well named company..

On the way and site it’s mentioned everywhere that collect payment via IndiaMART through pay with IndiaMART service but it only allows 2 to 5 lacs payment every week. Very Poor app with many bogus contact details

Many times you try to get a number by paying for the leads and they give you incorrect numbers or the enquiry is incorrect.

Some of the leads I got ask for one product in the website or app but when you call them, they say they never posted such a requirement.

Many times I have paid for the but lead and I get incorrect contact details or sic enquiries do not exist.

Their packages are even worse, they say something and give you something else. It's not worth it. I had rather buy individual leads, they are far better than taking the unworthy packages they offer.

They updated someone’s GSTIN number on my profile without my knowledge.

I got a message on my phone today that my profile was updated, when I did not. Later surprisingly IndiaMART called me and said, they got an email saying that I updated my GSTIN number, and wanted to verify if I made the changes. This is very fishy. When I go to my profile on the website and also the mobile app, to edit the incorrect GSTIN number, I am unable to edit my own profile. I called their customer care number, they asked me send an email to their customer care email I’d. Their security is definitely not good.

False Commitment

I bought a Export Package from India Mart for 2 years but after its purchase of two-three months..they are saying you have to take another package.

How they can say this????

If i recharge my mobile phone for 1 year, The tariffs are going to be same for one year. And if the company wants to change the tariffs, then it would be for new customers not for those who is already on that package.

By these things, No one is going to purchase any of their Packages because of this false commitment.

So i wish, IndiaMart Team Once again think of this & its Customers like me would modify its rating give them 5 Star.

Not useful for service providers

I’m a civil engineer. I used IndiaMART service more than 2 yeas.

But in service period even single lead was not useful. Fully wasted of money.

There are FOUR types of leads mainly receive -

1) requirement of JOB

2) i didn’t post requirement, wrong num

3) I’m also a vendor (who not registered) Need of work.

4) I posted for Rate conformation

With IndiaMART service system there are FOUR problems I faced as below-

1) while marketing team come to explaining plan force him to explain all plans not only one.

If your marketing team not explain even after your help desk team (while conforming details) team should be conform from vendor to know about all packages.

make only one plan for all for EQUALITY.

2) IndiaMART provide all leads to premium vendors first, After filter by them remain leads to normal vendors which is only TIMEPASS leads not so useful for vendors.

Here you should filter in two types- one BIG requirement lead for premium vendors & second normal or small requirement for normal or low plans vendors.

3) IndiaMART should make a proper & equal leads distribution system to all vendors as per plans so every vendor get proper leads of client.

Currently on every client so many vendors are approached and cut each others.

4) IndiaMART is not filtering a requirement of clients they directly posted due to as mention above problems happening.

So please resolve your system 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Otherwise all vendors (like me) will gradually sleep from you hand.

Pathetic support from IndiaMART

I had done a deal through IndiaMART. The dealer is YES ENTERPRISE FROM NASIK .. they have cheated us. The products which we ordered have not come to us and they have send different products we tried to contact the dealer but he is not responding to calls and is very rude. The dealers are Swati Raundal and Dinesh Raudal. These both are very rude and a cheat. They don’t have sense how to talk with customers.

As I have done the deal through IndiaMART and contacted the IndiaMART customer care. I had spoken to a executive Sudeep who guided me said u can raise a complain through IndiaMART and he requested me to give 24 hours time to the dealers as a warning to replace the products. If the dealers don’t respond within 24 hours contact IndiaMART again and raise the complain. Today I called the customer care of IndiaMART she said u can’t raise a complain through IndiaMART..

What type of employees IndiaMART is hiring they are not sure about the process too. That the executive named Sudeep from IndiaMART told me we can raise the complain and today IndiaMART is denying that... There is 0% coordination from IndiaMART and a pathetic services.. I would raise a complain against IndiaMART too.. a very bad service and wrong information provided..

Little thing being important need to add/upgrade

1. Image quality is very bad of each product. Many categories have photos being clicked, how can each seller click a bad quality photo is 2020? Definitely it has to be with the uploading problem of high quality images.

2. The layout of the app is a little confusing. There is no filtering your search. If I’m searching for a product, and I want sellers only from a particular area, I can’t filter that in the results displayed.

Also includes filtering price, sort by price or popularity, etc.

Decent. Could be better for iPhone

The app works okay. Sometimes it crashes and most of the times it’s not very user friendly. Like how many buy leads are left is not visible. If you kill the app and reopen it magically appears. And if you navigate to another menu option it disappears again. Can’t understand the logic behind it.

I think it also needs rethinking of the app structure visually. The whole buy lead concept on IndiaMART works best with fresh buy leads. But the user is always defaulted to relevant buy leads option which are seldom fresh. I think it should default the user to recent buy leads. Saves me a click on this rather slow app. And some tiny problems like these could be fixed based on user feedback.

Overall it is bearable.

Customer response is highly negative

I am member of India mart, 1st registered in 2016 for 1 year, again 2017 renewed for another 3 years, ie., from June 2017 to june 2020; it’s waste of money, after clicking a buy lead, when we call the customer, he is getting annoyed-either he is cutting off the call or he gets angry says that he is getting so many calls, from many suppliers, he is getting fed up, shouting at us, The customers are treating us like BEGGARS- the same is informed to the Indiamart customer service rep, managers also, Very Big Zero response...... IndiaMart is selling the leads to so many people (members) without any limits. Hence there is negative response from the customer. Very bad business ethics.

Not getting business

IndiaMart is not able to give business these days. As I am a registered supplier with Trust Seal Package on IndiaMat since 7-8 years. Still i am not promt response from Indiamart. Buyers post their requirements but their requirements is already fulfilled, they are not required anything.

IndiaMart gives some buyleads to their suppliers but most of them gt wasted due to their unverified requirements. And this results in the wastage of buyleads. In this case buyleads should be gt reversed but it doesn’t.

So IndiaMart needs to Work on their process, verufy the buyers on their portal.

We give you money for getting business. Please keep your customers happy and resolve their problems.

I never used to complain, I used to run, but just as much as I invested with your company, the money is as much If I do not return the return, I feel very sad, then after visiting, I have sent an email to your customer officer, called the call, but due to listening to my problem, he is telling me that your company is not able to do business with the customer. You tell me if my company is not able to do business, then you prove that you are misinterpreting the other to hide your weakness. Your system is not working. Your system is lazy. Customer is having trouble. There is no one to hear. What is the reason? Once a customer gets trapped in your network, then your company behaves like this today. Investigating your company on Google then I came to know that there is a lot of people like me, I am nothing in it, maybe you do not even have the solution for my problem. I think this kind of problem is going to be like this, I have kept this idea in front of you. My mind was very sad. Even after having a relationship with you for three to four years, people did not help you. And some officials of your company felt very sad to prove me wrong

Fake cheaters

My name is sonia. I made a call to one particular number but i dnt no how its routed to india mart call center that representative informed me that he can help me with suppliers via sms. I still proactively informed him that i dnt want to get any phone calls with direct suppliers. He said dnt worry mam i will only active Msg service nd you can contact them whenever u feel like. So he posted my Buying inquiry.

2 I informed him that I only need suppliers from Noida as its for my personal usage i dnt need it in a huge amount but still he posted my inquiry for PAN INDIA.

Now this tym i called there customer support to delete my inquiry so he said mam I cnt do the same you need to download our app nd 10 other Things.

With out taking CONSENT they can share your details to suppliers however they can’t delete if buyer is self giving consent. Great. This is Pathetic they are posting fake Leads to entertain there Paid suppliers. Stop doing this You guys dnt how big crime this is without consent share-ing information Pan india.

Pathetic support. I dnt Get any -star markings otherwise i give that your company Dnt deserve 1 star even.

Worst Service

Hi!

I’m not getting any good response on Indiamart not even ok.

No proper enquires, no relevant enquires

After renewal the services are getting more worse day by day.

This is how you deal with your clients after one year of normal package.

You guys just give pressure to renew the packages and try to add your more packages. If someone pays for all those packages then its fine otherwise you guys don’t even care about your 1 year normal package clients. You guys just focused on those big packages and are working for them only.

On the time of renewal you guys were entreating so much.

I’m so totally fed up from all of you.

Start working on my catalogue asap.

Otherwise, I’ll upload this feedback on the IndiaMART website and app including the all that names who got in touch with me at the time of renewal and was begging for the renewal.

After complaining these guys are not even listening and has not done any updation or work on my catalogue.

Total Waste app

I was raised a query for Drone. I got several calls from so many sellers. Finally I’ve chosen a seller from Indiamart itself and I lost / cheated 30k rupees from that fraud seller. I know Indiamart is not responsible for that. It was totally my mistake but on the other hand how Indiamart allow these type of fraud seller. If they’re not aware after informing also why they aren’t taking any action against him. It means they are doing it mutually. And if they will say When I have informed about this then why have a option of feedback. I’ve already given details of that fraud person on Indiamart’s feedback. And I don’t have got any reply regarding that. He is also ready to cheat another one through this (Indiamart).

So why should a person trust upon Indiamart......???????
