Love this app! Im not even kidding whoever came up with this idea is a genius. I always find myself in a situation where i wanna have a light brunch but all the restaurants that serve breakfast meals are like 40 mins away. So i always end up ordering fast food. But this is a game changer.
And i would like to request one thing. These delivery guys all get the food right on time. And are always kind. I request bistro to pay them sufficiently. It is really sad to see them working so hard for minimum wage. I hope you read my review and make some changes. Thank you.

Poor customer support
Initially the customer support was good but with customer base increasing their support is going down the drain. No understanding and favourable action if food is half cooked or overly spicy. Recently had their food and ended up with an dodgy tummy.

⭐ 1-Star Review Absolute Failure of Operations & Accountability
I’ve rarely felt the need to write such a detailed review, but what I experienced with Bistro today reflects a deeply broken system, not a one-off mistake.
I clearly updated my delivery address to Noida Indoor Stadium, Gate No. 4, The app itself shows this address correctly. Despite that:
•The delivery partner went to an entirely different location
•I was blamed for an address error that I did not make
•Support repeatedly contradicted itself
•I was told the order was both undeliverable and delivered at the same time
•No proof of delivery was shared
•I was pressured into cancellation after wasting significant time
The most shocking part?
Support casually said “as I can check order is delivered” — delivered to whom? where? how? No answer.
This is not just poor customer service. This is:
•Zero coordination between app, support, and delivery
•No ownership of mistakes
•No escalation path
•Script-reading executives with no authority
•A system that conveniently shifts blame to the customer
I have screenshots of the address, chat logs, and call details, yet the response was robotic apologies and refund prompts—as if time, trust, and accountability mean nothing.
Refunding money is the bare minimum. What Bistro failed at is respect for the customer’s time and intelligence.
If Bistro wants to be taken seriously as a food-tech company, it needs:
•Real support escalation
•Location-trained delivery partners
•Accountability when their system fails
•Better internal communication
Until then, this platform is unreliable, frustrating, and not worth the risk—especially if you’re ordering from a non-residential or landmark location.
I will not be using Bistro again.

Worst experience ever.
They claim fresh & good quality food, but what was delivered was completely unfit to eat. Shelf-like, stale food being sold in the name of quality. If this is your standard, please don’t assure customers of “good quality”. They also promise 10-minute delivery — reality? 28 minutes. False promises just to attract orders. When I raised the issue, customer support’s solution was to send the same order again. Seriously? That means waiting another 28–30 minutes, again hoping the food might be edible. No concern for the customer’s time, hunger, or hard-earned money.

Pathetic service | Late deliveries
My food was packed for like 20-25 minutes ago the delivery partner was assigned that too after reaching out to support team. Even after that they were still with no solution. Once my order was delivered, they were like it doesn’t apply with the refund or replacement order at the moment. When asked to connect with her senior, she was like they will also have same answer to your problem. I mean what’s the point of having higher authority above your position if they are going to give the same solution as yours.
Bad service, Bad support service & Bad experience i had with bistro. You guys try to compete with Zepto but are not even at 50% of what they are at this moment.
I suggest not to take services from Bistro. #BoycottBistro

Good food delivered quickly at affordable prices!!
I have ordered multiple times from this place and the food is mostly very good and arrives quickly. The prices are also very affordable. Some items may not be as good as the others but still most of the food (and drink) items are amazing! Definitely recommended for bachelors or when you just want to have a quick snack.
PS: mini aloo samosas and veg spring rolls are a must try!

Alert: Non veg food sent against veg order
I order food from bistro but yesterday I had a very pathetic experience of ordering food. I had ordered paneer makhni biryani and they sent biryani with something else instead of paneer which was looking like non-veg. I immediately took it up with customer service and some Sadiya came to assist me. I shared pictures with her but she was useless only justifying that she was not able to contact the kitchen and wrong food was sent. I asked her to connect me with some senior but she didn’t do that also. I will file complaint against bistro.

This is absolutely unacceptable. Every single time I order through Bistro, the delivery is late — not once or twice, but every time. I’m seriously frustrated now.
What’s the point of giving an estimated delivery time if you never meet it? I’ve been patient enough, but this constant delay shows complete carelessness and zero responsibility from your side.
If this happens again, I’ll be filing an official complaint. I expect immediate action and proper delivery management — this kind of service is just not done.

Bistro is a scam in the name of prepaid orders
I placed an order and got a call from the delivery boy. I told him, ‘Brother, please wait 2 minutes, I’m coming.’ I called back immediately, but his phone was switched off. This didn’t happen accidentally — he switched it off on purpose because they run scams like this. These are always prepaid orders. Then I contacted customer support, and they said the rider had called but I didn’t answer. How can I answer if his phone was off? This is clearly a scam. They take prepaid orders and just leave, and then customer support blames the customer, saying it’s your fault for not answering the call — and now you won’t even get a refund. All these people are frauds, and even their food isn’t good — all they do is scam. Stay away from them. Zomato and Swiggy are much better. My request is that no one should place orders from Bistro

Unfortunately, the biryani delivered was not fresh and of very poor quality, which caused me health issues after consumption. Additionally, the delivery person was extremely rude, which made the overall experience even more unpleasant and i have raised a concern to the help support no one has responded and they are closing my email which is not good I’m going to file a complaint against bistro to the consumer court on this

Pathetic services
I placed an order and to my surprise the order got placed to one of my old address which is approximately 500 mts from my current address. As per bistro my current location is not serviceable but still there was not error when I was placing the order once I placed the order it showed me that address selected is wrong. So what bistro is doing very smartly is that even though your location is not serviceable it will still place the order to the nearest location and then they will charge you with extra money. They won’t cancel the order as ell if they cancel they will not even refund our money

I have ordered pav baghi and at the time of order it was showing on the cart and even the amount also got deducted from my account but when I received my order it was missing which is very unprofessional way of given wrong impression to the clients that a product is coming and finally a surprise comes when u see the product is missing.
Now a person has to look for some other product and has to waste his/her time in reorder. And even the refund is not instant a customer has to wait for his valuable money to come.
Very very very unprofessional and bad service. Very much dissatisfied with the services.

Some changes and more options with better services.
Pls add less chillies and chicken sheekh kabab roll was not tasty which I had few days ago. Pls also add jess chillies spices to allu samosa For pakoras pls have another option of not having chilli pakora also and can replace with gobi pakora and egg pakora too. Also add more items to menus like chicken keens samosas less chillies spiciest but not bland and more salads veg & non veg more sandwich options with put over flowing liquidy filling inside bit not totally dry either some nice pizzas option small/ medium Aksi add mutton rogan josh less spicy with nans parathas ect biryanis too good tasty options home made style pls.

Regarding order
This is the worst experience I’ve had. I called within a minute of receiving the order status was canceled and asked support that driver to deliver the food, but was told it's not possible. The delay was from their end, not mine. I had provided the exact address, yet no one bothered to call. The food was never delivered, and I had already paid. To make it worse, they refused to refund my money—customer support said it’s not in their policy. This is nothing but a way of harassing customers. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Do not order from Bistro!

There some serious issue with their delivery service
It’s very frequent now that their delivery partners either deny to come to address and deliver food or don’t pick the call and mark the food as delivered without actually delivering (that is customer don’t receive their order). Also, they show the average time of 15minutes for delivery for a particular item but can take upto 30 minutes or an hour as well in some cases which happened with me.

Plastic in food
I ordered their Chicken keema pao and the order had these fragments of black plastic all over the food. I assumed it must be minor burned surface of the bread, but upon closer inspection - lo and behold I had a home delivery of plastic waiting to turn into microplastics. To add a rotten cherry on the top, the app took 20+ minutes after the delivery to update that the order had been delivered. When I reached out to the customer service, the most they could do was to ask me to wait for an indefinite time. Ended up waiting for 20 more minutes, without edible food or a resolution.

Aggressive Delivery Partners in Bengaluru
The delivery guy got aggressive upon asking from which service you’re from. According to him, a person must always be checking his phone till the order arrives, and got aggressive after me asking him to understand what was the question and there was no point making fuss about which ultimately landed to argument on Learn Kannada. If your partner can’t understand basic English then what’s the point of having application in English… make it a regional app so that people know it’s not familiar for them to order from here.

I had a really bad experience ordering from Bistro by Blinkit. The food arrived extremely late, and by the time it reached me, it was cold, soggy, and looked nothing like what was shown in the app.
What’s worse — one of the items I paid for was missing, and there was no proper customer support to resolve the issue. The in-app help just gave automated responses with no actual assistance or refund. Totally unprofessional.
The packaging was also very poor — food was leaking and smelled stale. For a service like Blinkit that promises quick and fresh delivery, this was beyond disappointing.
Would not recommend ordering from Bistro by Blinkit. Low quality food, unreliable service, and zero accountability. Waste of time and money.

It is appearing on app home page that 1st three order will get 50% off on everything, But after talking with customer care representative, He clarified due to mistake its appearing for 1st three order and now changed to only first order only. then why its not corrected as information, That is intentionally published by Bistro team, they need to compensate for existing user. Thx

Take orders but can’t deliver
Took my order, showed 23 minutes for delivery and the order didn’t come for more than an hour. Kept showing delivering in 9 minutes till I finally contacted customer service, who said the order couldn’t be delivered due to shortage of delivery partners.

Hi devs, some features of the app is not working, maybe due to failed api calls. For example you can’t delete your account, the error message is “Something went wrong, Please try again later”. Kindly fix this.

This is like the best app ever. I am so happy I accidentally discovered it 4 days ago and I can’t stop ordering. I live alone and this makes life so much easier. On other apps I used to spend at least 400+ to get a decent healthy meal almost everyday. Bistro is so cost convenient, worth the price. Decent food at low prices. But the best thing about bistro is their amaaaazing coffee. I’ve ordered iced coffee twice and I can’t tell any difference between a good coffee chain’s coffee and bistro’s coffee. Variety of food items should be expanded. I understand bistro has just started hence things are going slowly so will wait. But anyway I love you so much BISTRO. Please don’t increase the prices and keep being this lovely 🥰

More secretive than the FBI
Open a food item, try to see which restaurant has it listed, and nothing. Try to Click on the stars to understand the rating and again, nothing. The only reason Zomato is more tolerable than Swiggy is because of customer ratings, reviews and photos that can be seen by all. Take that away and you’re just as bad as Swiggy, only Bistro was much worse.

When I first downloaded bistro the food was amazing especially for it’s prices. But recently, they’ve totally ruined their quality and customer service. The quality of the food and rate used to impress me, now it worries me as I worry that proper measures arent taken to make this food making it smell weird, which is probably result of bad hygine and preparation. I urge you to not use this app and spend a bit more on your food for your health.

Stale food coz health over convenience anyday
As much as of a convenience it is, they are providing pre-cooked food under 10 minutes, your first order will be very fresh, making you think this is amazing quality, next orders will not be fresh but at least a week old cooked dish, you’re playing with your health because you don’t like to plan your meals, I will personally never replace health with convenience

Value for money
We have ordered breakfast 3 times - veg poha, aloo puri, channa bhatura and tea… Food quality tastes as home food…quantity apt…neatly packaged in attractive green packing boxes and paper bags. Food /tea gets delivered hot in less than 15 minutes..Pricing economical.. much less than what we pay through zomato. Only issue so far is that Tea quantity is sometimes less than 2 cups 😞 otherwise we have been enjoying our Sunday breakfast from Bistro by blinkit 🥳

I recently ordered from Bistro , the app is totally fill up with too many bugs , i have received my order but in app it’s still shows in active order . Nd the night time i received to many calls from their CS team for the confirmation nd when i asked to the customer support and the delivery boy about the calls they even don’t listen about what i was saying. They just mam have you received your order have you received your order and blaming about my network , i just simply answer if my networks are bad then how i can connect with you on call . When you just want to have a light snack. But using zomato or swiggy you have to face so many charges restaurant charge, this charge and that charge. You always tend to overpay if you just want a snack or a small order.

Food is super tasty
Have been using it for quite some days now for my meals. I love how quick it is and there are roasted chicken sandwiches and croissant sandwiches etc everything just gets here in 10mins. I don’t have to worry about ordering 30-40mins before lunch time and the food is always HOT!
