Don’t subscribe.. nothing plays on it.
I have subscribed annual plan with sony liv and I thought it looks good app to watch content but this is the worst app I have ever seen. Whatever we try to play it shows error when reached out to customer care they just apologise and tells to wait for sometime. But nothing gets better. Shows error in playing live news channels as well.

Not great support with fire stick live tv
I wanted to subscribe to yupp tv mainly to watch live tv on fire stick . Fire stick has great option called live tv where we can see all the live channels offered by various apps . Unfortunately yupp tv lack good support and only shows few channels . Raising this to customer support is also useless as the support doesn’t really care about user simply suggested random solutions.

Stupid app and website
Not sure what your business model is, it’s anything but not getting subsection. iPhone app says open website for subscription and then website will not open and keep directing to app, how stupid is that?
Website not allowing to login by pasting password. You are TV app not bank stop overthinking and blocking copy paste. At least you lost one user. Going to Jio TV. Well done and kudos to your product team.

Subscription is a big scam and worst customer service
The app doesn’t work on tv it just keeps loading. And worst part of the app is once subscribed you have no way to cancel the subscription from customer end you have to contact customer support and they don’t respond.

During renewal they won’t say anything even though they are aware some channels will stop soon and they charge full. On every login they do fake advertisement that sunnxt will be offered at discounted price. It is cheaper if you buy sun nxt directly from sun. If you buy from these guys they will change your existing plan and reduce your existing subscription plan. I Complained immediately after changing the plan and called many times and customer rep just hangs by saying we won’t refund. I requested call back from their manager and never received call. So don’t waste your time and money with these scammers.

This is a fraud!!!
Their sales team will scam you with promise of a set of channels and very soon you will realise that they have already removed from your access. In my case, I was “promised live cricket” but without specifying that it was limited to one series. Also, when I started Sony channels were in the subscription but now they are demanding more money for the same. AVOID!!!

The advertisements are highly annoying and irritating. There is a way to attain a balance between customer entertainment, satisfaction and advertising/marketing products. Time for your marketing team to revisit this and work towards the balance rather than only promoting products.

Great app but showing too many ads

The app is great and it’s the best app available in market. But recently you guys are showing too much ad every time I change channels.
I live in UAE, every time I change the channel app is showing “ipg” ad. Are we paying rental just to see too many ads ? And by forcing us ? Showing an ad is fine but every time a user is changing channel ? And there is no way to skip the ad ?
Please consider the user experience when making ad decisions like this. It’s pathetic UX.

Not playing on my iPad
I’m in Europe and I bought the IPL package, so badly wanting to watch the IPL on my iPad. But the streaming is not happening on my iPad after the first match. However I’m still being able to play on my phone and that saved my money to a certain extent.
But deeply disappointed.

Unskippable Ads for paying subscribers
What happened? For the World Cup package that I subscribed for, I have to watch unskippable ads of 40s each time. In the previous version these ads could be skipped. But this is completely unnecessary and spoils the entire experience.
The web version doesn’t have that many ads.

Just to watch world cup I signed up at their website. Even after paying 20 euros you get to see ads....alot of ads. Moreover, as soon as I signed up, I started recieving alot of spams emails. One thing of I am 100% sure that these guys are selling and distributing your data to third parties.

Cancellation or stopping procedure difficult
You can only cancel or stop subscription by making a phone call to customer care . No mail or acknowledgment message sent back. I cancelled it 40 days back but surprised that account is still active and customer care man says you have been charged because your payment method was in auto debit mode?
So there is no way you can cancel the subscription yourself digitally from your home. Again I contacted customer care , he assured of cancelling it this time on 30 th June only on the last day of your paid month?
I m not using it then why you wait for last day , just cancel it on my request and mail me or send SMS or inform in writing ? What’s the problem?

Why no end subscription option
The app does not have an end subscription option. Looks like they don’t want people to sign off and stop paying. It’s such a pain to end the subscription. For Singapore the toll free number given also does not work

Jio Tv is free and much better app
I tried yupp tv but to be honest if you really wanna enjoy tv on the go then guys go and either buy a jio sim or port your no. To Jio network and get Jio Tv app which is free and works 100 times better than any other app. You can watch almost every single channel in jio TV app and also some of them in HD aswell.
