I received a ā¹1000 offer coupon from SHEIN, but even after selecting items that were clearly marked as eligible, the discount was not applied at checkout. This was really disappointing and confusing.
What made the experience worse is that there is no proper customer support or easy way to contact customer care for help. A shopping app should provide clear support when customers face issues like this.

Worst quality and return service bad
I placed my first-ever order with Shein India on 5th Jan 2026 for a pant and received it on 7th Jan 2026. The pant product quality is not good and immediately i return the product but 10 days over no one came to pickup.
I've been calling and following up daily, but the pickup agent never answers the call. Instead, I get daily messages blaming me, saying I'm not reachable, which is completely false and beyond frustrating.
I've contacted customer care 7-8 times, explained the situation in full detail, and still got no real help. Every time I'm told a new pickup date is set - and yet again, the pickup agent disconnects my call or doesn't show up.

Bad experience with Shein
The quality of the fabric was disappointing, and the stitching looked poorly done. The sizing was completely unreliableādespite following the size chart, some items were too tight while others were overly loose.
Returning the items was equally frustrating. Although Shein advertises a simple return policy, the refund process was complicated and time-consuming. Customer service offered little help, responding after long delays with generic messages that didnāt address the issue.

Difference between SHEIN global and SHEIN India
I have used SHEIN internationally, and whenever you open the app there you feel like buying everything and itās confusing in a good way and you end up adding so many things to your cart. This has been the worst experience Iāve had with Shein. My order was sent through Shadowfax and after making me wait for 25 days, it was simply cancelled without any proper explanation.

Shadowfax Mumbai BOM_Mankhurd facility inlog ne ekdam ghatiya delivery boy rakha huwa hai sab nashedi sharabi ko job pe rakha hai. Delivery Attempt bhi nahi kartey hai and mujhe 2 din se message aaraha hai ki delivery Attempted but customer was not contactable. Wo mujhe call nahi karta hai or me saamney se call karu to bolta hai raat ko 11 baje delivery karunga. Fir 11 baje call karo to bolta hai kal karunga aise karke usney 3 attempt kiya hai. Or wo delivery boy hosh me nahi rehta hai hardam nashey me rehta hai jab bhi call karo. Never buy from this app. I ordered two articles: one top and one dress. After my order was confirmed, they didnāt update anything on the app. Some 4 days later my parcel arrived. The dress was really short so I wanted to return it. But the app had still not updated the package tracking. It was still ok confirmed even after it was delivered. Now thereās no option to return. Worst shopping app ever
I placed my first-ever order with Shein India on 9th June for a skirt and received it on 13th June. The size (32) didnāt fit, so I wanted to exchange it for a size 34. But to my surprise, exchange wasnāt even available, so I had to return the item and reorder the same skirt in size 34 separately.
I received the new order without any issues. But hereās where the nightmare started ā no one came to pick up the return for the original skirt.
Iāve been calling and following up daily, but the pickup agent never answers the call. Instead, I get daily messages blaming me, saying Iām not reachable, which is completely false and beyond frustrating.

This is a very very bad place to shop from. I came here after ppl recommended SHEIN to me and got pulled into such a mess! Their order got delivered but their executive did not mark it. I wanted to return items due to size issue but since then itās been 15 days, order shows same status of ādelivery delayedā. I had a really disappointing experience with the Shein app. At first, everything seemed fine the app was easy to navigate, and there were plenty of trendy clothes at affordable prices. However, my problems started after I placed an order.
First, the delivery took much longer than expected. The estimated time was 10ā15 days, but my package arrived after almost a month. There were no proper updates, and the tracking system was unreliable.
Second, the quality of the clothes was not as shown in the pictures. The fabric felt cheap, the stitching was poor, and the sizes were completely off. Even after checking the size guide, the clothes either ran too small or too large.
Third, the return process was a nightmare. Shein claims to have an easy return policy, but getting a refund was a hassle. Customer support was unhelpful, taking days to respond with generic replies that didnāt solve my problem. They also charged a high return shipping fee, making it almost pointless to send back the items.
Overall, my experience with Shein was frustrating, and I wouldnāt recommend it. The low prices might be tempting, but the poor quality, slow shipping, and bad customer service make it not worth the trouble.

Worst copy of shein : Huge disappointment.
The prices, quality, and options are nowhere close to what the original Shein offered when it was available in India. This feels like a downgraded, horrible version. I was so excited to hear that Shein was back in India, but after seeing the new app, the quality, prices, and choices are a big no-no. I used to be a VIP member, spending over a lakh on bulk shopping every month because it was that goodābut not anymore. Disappointed.

What happened Isha Ambani? Just buying a big brand with money doesnāt do everything. You and your family only knows to buy brands with money but donāt pay attention to quality. You have single handedly spoiled one of my favourite shopping platform . Go and compare 6 years ago collection and your now collection. You have NOT put any efforts in the new launch apart from just buying with your father money. No wonder the ratings are poor. Worthless
I ordered a couple of times and return exchange process is so time consuming. Order gets delivered but takes a week to update on the app and after exchange it takes more than a week to reflect and you have to reach out to CC for solution. Multiple calls to pick my order and even if it gets picked up order still shows waiting to be picked up. Useless app.

Unprofessional and ill managed
Had ordered 10 items that were to be delivered on 14th Feb. Didnāt get the delivery so contacted support to be assured delivery by 17th Feb which also didnāt happen now on 20th Feb they say wait till 22nd Feb. I donāt understand how can the logistics be so ill managed in this date and time when tracking is possible by minute and locationā¦ To top it they canāt even refund my money for some reason

This used to be my favorite online shopping platform, but if this is really Shein, Iām sorry to say that the collection is disappointing. I had high expectations, but they were completely let down. The products look outdated, like they came from dead stock. Unfortunately, you have failed us badly.

Itās really disappointing to see a brand that once catered to all sizes return with a limited range, stopping at XL. Need to improve alots
This apps doesn't seems like the one we've used before. Products aren't looking good and western clothes aren't even there. There was an option which we can check-in daily and got a point and later uses as money. However they removed that as well. No Plus Sizes
This used to be one of my most favourite online platforms for shopping . They used to do plus sizes till
6-7 xl before being banned in 2020 during Covid. After waiting for 5 long years, itās so so sad to see that they have come back like just another online platform catering to only regular sized people. Shame on you Reliance for discriminating against peopleās body shapes. I am so disheartened.
