Impractical functions about location
Not able to change location is a very impractical even dangerous at time. Somes places have similar names that can be clicked impulsively and upon realising the drivers almost all time agreed about new location but the app did not support it. For example kila 1 & 2 looks very similar in text but for an abroad rider this mis selection can even lead to miss the flight .. where drivers have no problem dropping them to right location but the app doesn’t support it. Apps are made to be useful for people .. people are not born to comply apps.

I would like to raise a concern regarding taxi services GRAB in Singapore.
During my recent experience, I noticed that some drivers appear to misuse the waiting time charges. In certain cases, drivers either arrive at an incorrect pickup location or ask passengers to walk to a different spot. Meanwhile, the waiting time continues to run, resulting in additional charges for the passenger.
This creates an unfair situation, especially for tourists who may not be fully familiar with the city or pickup points. It feels misleading and gives a negative impression of the service.
I request the relevant authorities to look into this matter and ensure that such practices are monitored and prevented.
Grab just teach your drivers some little hospitality how to treat costumers. Come to india we will show you the real hospitality. Athithi Devo Bhava ! 🙏

I've had a terrible experience with Grab. They charge exorbitant fees for international debit card transactions. When booking a cab, they deduct a pre-authorisation amount, but fail to refund it even after the service isn't availed. Despite multiple attempts to contact their support team, I've been met with silence. Their customer support system is severely lacking, and it's been over 45 days since I've been trying to resolve this issue. I'm still waiting for a refund. Wouldn't recommend using Grab – you might end up losing money like I did.

Driver completed trip without pickup - charged 655 THB
Installed Grab for the first time while visiting Thailand. In Pattaya I booked a 2 km ride showing around 25 THB. The driver marked “arrived”, but the area was crowded and we couldn’t find the car. The driver started the trip without picking us up and completed it. Later my credit card was charged 655 THB showing ~400 Tip and ~200 toll. Surprisingly, another traveler we met had the exact same issue the same day. Travelers should be careful linking credit cards and may prefer using cash.

They don’t give a damn about customers once the order is placed. Their support teams aren’t available at all. There is no way anyone can reach Grab support or cancel orders once placed even if they’re delayed massively. This is one of the worst businesses and food apps. Deliveroo is way better and these guys need to work on how to credibly run a business and not just make money out of it. They’re in business only till someone else decides to bring in some competition in Singapore.

I ordered two dishes and got wrong items. I contacted the Grab customer service with the invoice and photos of the items I had received, as per their procedure, within 10 minutes of the delivery.
After getting no resolution I contacted them again the next day, the status of the complain was showing ‘ongoing’ in the app.
When I didn’t hear from them even the day after that I contacted them again and was told that my complaint was outside their 24 hour window and that they cannot act on it.
They did not even bother to check when I had made the original complaint and stopped responding after I clarified that.
Highly disappointing because I had to their away the chicken feet that I received as I don’t eat them.
Have stopped ordering on Grab and now I order only on Line Man.

I booked a taxi and the amount was deducted but not refunded. Later, I ordered food from Domino’s, the amount got deducted, the order was cancelled, and I still haven’t received a refund. Grab Thailand – Frustrating Experience and Unfair Charges
I’ve had consistently disappointing experiences with Grab Thailand. Most of the time, a cab wasn’t even allocated, yet I was charged the full fare with the claim that I canceled the trip—when in reality, it was the driver who chose to cancel. On another occasion, the trip was never accepted by any driver, yet I still faced issues.
Even when a ride was finally allotted after more than 10 minutes of searching, I had to cancel due to the excessive wait—and Grab still charged me a cancellation fee. Does Grab expect users to wait endlessly just to avoid being penalized?
What’s worse is the refund process. Every time I had to contact support, it involved submitting screenshots and going through a cumbersome process just to get basic help. It’s exhausting and unfair.
I strongly advise users to avoid using Grab if they value their time and money. The system seems stacked against the customer, and the hassle simply isn’t worth it.

Grab Drivers are Full Time Scammers
It’s my go to app for taxi here in Thailand but I had a terrible experience with this app. A driver asked me to pay an extra 300 THB on top of the fare 1800 THB which I agreed to and then demanded that I cancel the ride from the app and go with him directly. When I refused—because it’s a serious safety risk for me and my family—he became rude and said I’d be charged anyway whether I rode with him or not.
This is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and feels like a scam. I immediately declined to ride with such a shady driver. Now he picked some other ride within 2 minutes in front of me and grab started my ride without even confirming anything now they have charged my card for 1800 TBH while he went away with a scammer smile . We had to hustle the same thing with 4 different grab drivers . Finally I booked a local taxi which is another story but not a scammer one. The app needs to take stricter action to protect passengers and ensure drivers cannot misuse the system like this. Until that happens, I cannot recommend this service.

I had a wonderful experience at India Gate restaurant Phuket by mistake. I had ordered non-veg dish, but since I am a vegetarian, I requested to change to my surprise, the staff not only understood my concern, but also send me a fresh vegetarian dish free of cost. This gesture truly touched me as it shows how much they value their customer.
The food was delicious authentic And prepared with care. More than that, their hospitality and kindness made the whole experience memorable. I would highly recommend. India gate to anyone visiting Phuket, who is looking for genuine Indian flavour along with excellent service.

Driver was unsafe
I had a very uncomfortable and distressing experience with a Grab driver. I was sitting in the back seat, and the driver kept turning around and staring at me, especially at my neckline. His behavior was inappropriate and made me feel harassed and unsafe.
This was an extremely uncomfortable situation. I even considered going to the police station to report him. I’ve used Grab a few times before and never had such an experience, but this incident has completely shaken my trust in the platform. As a female passenger, I expected at least basic safety and respect, which was clearly lacking.
To feel somewhat safe, I had to stay on a video call with my friends throughout the ride. During the call, the driver inexplicably started using a translator app, adding to the discomfort. It was very unsettling and made me feel even more unsafe.
As a tourist, I believe it’s critical for platforms like Grab to provide a visible and accessible safety button in the car. After this incident, I will no longer use the Grab app. It is not safe, and this should not happen to anyone — especially women traveling alone.
As a model and influencer, I will be sharing this experience on social media to raise awareness and ensure others stay cautious while using this service. I sincerely hope Grab takes this seriously and implements stronger safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

Be careful
It is the only app to call a taxi and order food . It is great ( as it is the only app in Thailand) . But as I said it is not reliable . I booked a cab through the app to go to the airport . It showed me 34 minutes and showed the route. But the driver kept on changing route on the map. He didn’t know English. After 30 minutes in his taxi his map stilled showed 40 minutes . He took us to a toll and asked us to pay 50 bath .( we were not aware that we had to pay the toll but still we paid as he said that he did not have money … and then he left the toll road in a kilometer and his phone increased the time to an hour . We got skeptical about his intentions and called the Grab helpline number . They were of no help . We were very uncomfortable in the cab . We request the helpline to cancel our trip as we wanted to get down . The driver kept asked us to get down in a traffic jam . Our trip was not canceled , we were charged the complete amount . Some good soul on the road guided. Us to A2 bus stand for a bus and we reached the terminal in 1 hour from there … just in time for flight check in to close

Easy to use but needs improvement
It’s an easy to use app which can be used across many countries in South East Asia. I used the app a few times but also saw its downsides. The app will charge you as soon as your cab is booked if you’re paying by card, it doesn’t not even waits for your ride to start. It will suggest you pickup/drop place while booking a cab and then driver will tell you its not the precise place and cancel your booking. How can a tourist know what the exact point of drop or pick up is ? There are other better alternatives which one can use.

I had an order from Grab. That my friend booked, this person while delivering the order was very unprofessional, hostile and abusive for no reason. Moderate app, worst rules, worst experience.
Drivers are totally taking advantages of this app. Where the app should support the users, this is totally supporting the drivers. Had to wait more than an hour in some places due to cancellation from drivers since the surge in amount is huge. Had to book the ride for twice or thrice the initial amount shown due to drivers cancellation of rides because of rush hours. One time driver stayed so far for too long after booking to make us cancel ourselves so he get compensated by the app which will be deducted from our account. Drivers get compensated even if they ask us to cancel. No grab rides available after midnight, Suffered to go to airport due to this. In overall it was a worst experience 😪

Really poor experience in Thailand
Ordered for an advanced taxi in a remote location in Thailand, got a confirmation and then at the time of the pickup there wasn’t any driver assigned and then the booking had to be cancelled. We had to then pay thrice the amount to get another and had to change our plans for the entire day because the new taxi took more time to reach us.

Im using IOS 17.0 and I’m unable to get the the transport icon. I only get Car icon. When I try to search for the schedule time drop down menu in the “where to?” tab, can’t see the option to schedule car booking in advance. I’m using this app since my taxi app was launched and than switched over to Grab app. I updated the app again today but still not able to get the option. I never used this option to schedule prior to travel before but was trying it first time and it’s not available. Please fix this issue.

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Service
I’m honestly questioning whether Grab is even a professional food delivery company. I ordered food yesterday, and guess what? It’s still in the delivery stage! Yes, you read that right. More than 12 hours to deliver food — this is just ridiculous!
I think it's about time I tag your CTO and CEO on social media for setting a new record in delayed deliveries. How can a food delivery service take over half a day to get my order to me? The promo is worth RM3, but come on, this level of service is beyond unacceptable.
I demand a full refund and compensation equal to at least the value of my order. This is extremely bad service, and I am very disappointed with how unprofessional Grab has been.

Provider of everything except the quality service
I have been using grab since 2 years as it seems to be the best option but one thing they lack is customer support, there is no instant customer support like chat feature sometimes driver just dont come after picking up food and no response.
Secondly the estimated time of delivery is a hoax at this app it keeps increasing without any reason.
So ya 1 star for service

Delicious veg food
We had our Dinner on 18th July. Great service, great atmosphere and great food, food were very very tasty, and we definitely recommend to all of our India people who comes to Da-nang they are looking for an Indian restaurant, so our Bhojan Indian Restrurent is one of the very best, very delicious, and price is also very good according to the other restaurants, so well recommended. 🙏

Cant able to connect to customer care person
With respect to ride the application is superb. But when it comes to food delivery, some time its taking more time to confirm the order and later it says delivery person not available and order is getting cancelled. And the worst part is you cant able to connect with customer care person at any point of time. It always redirects you to FAQS and predefined answers. Connecting to customer care person is very hard.

I paid 1570/- THB for food no delivery guy was allocated .! But my money was debited from my card when asked for refund still I have not any refund back its been 7 days now .! Whom do I contact i am tired now dropping mail.! Its almost 4000 Indian money but Grab team doesn’t care it really poor service I have been using this app from Years but really customer service is bad.! Still no refund received

“Grab”bed lost phone
My son dropped his phone in the grab taxi, anyone would expect that in such case forget that you had that phone. But not in grab taxi, Grab team helped me to trace the phone. It was of great help in a foreign land. BTW all the taxi I booked were reasonably priced and clean. Thanks Grab great service, keep it up

Scam and looting money on the name of pre booking charges
I tried booking rides multiple times and didn’t get any cab nearby. My money debited from account two times even there were no confirmed bookings. After lot of tries I called in support center and they said it will be refunded within 7 days. Now its more than 10 days still no refund. Help center page does not work and gives errors. No response on the support center number as well.

Great app but where are live activities?
The app is indispensable in Thailand. But I am surprised a company as big as Grab doesn’t have support for live activities on the Lock Screen and in the dynamic island yet. Lineman added support for this some time ago.

Grab taxi singapore for globetrotters
Best way to get around Singapore is taxi and grab us the Uber equivalent here.
The only suggestion is that most tourists come with prepaid Forex cards to singapore from other countries. They should accept this - currently the only choice for such tourists is to pay by cash.

But charging of late fee is unreasonable . I called him immediately after booking and told him we are coming down with some luggage and a wheel chair bound person and so we were a bit slow to come down with the lift and luggage

The best app ever!
So I used the grab app while I was in Vietnam for a holiday, and it never made me feel like I am away from my country.
The taxi would arrive in 5mins be it hoi an, Ho Chi Minh or danang cities.
I also tried their food delivery service twice coz my mom wanted to eat India food and it’s not very easily available in Vietnam.
The app interface is so easy to use and the response of the drivers is commendable!
Absolutely love this app!
Wish grab expands to India as well!

Cab hailing experience is riddled w/ anxiety for users
I found the cab booking experience stupid, to be very blunt.
1. I can't see the wait time for cabs at the pickup locations
2. The app charged mr for simply initiating a booking request, did not even wait for assigning the cab or starting the trip. This is the nomenclature across all the cab hailing services.
4. I could see the charge under transaction sections of the app
5. I had to dig into support section to get the info, particularly that the app charges users when you request the trip and refund is issued in 10-14 days.
3. Why should the refund take so much time. In India tech is string enough to issue refunds in a matter of minutes or hours.
4. There was no onboarding or any info mentioned in 3. available upfront.
Overall there were a lot of anxiety points for me as a user when booking a cab.

App hangs
The application keeps hanging after I’ve selected the destination on the booking page. It does not allow me to either make a booking, change the payment type and then the screen becomes unresponsive.I have heard this is happening with a few of my friends

Efficient, prompt , courteous, know English
We have been using grab in Bali in the past also. Happy to see many improvements post pandemic. Drivers know English; apparently this is being encouraged. In the past hardly anyone knew English. Cars are clean, screen between the driver and passengers is also good. Thanks to their understanding English , much easier to communicate and plan things, take opinion, etc. feel quite safe and comfortable in grab taxi

They respond and even refund the amount if we face an issue!
How do you satisfy your customers? You give the best service possible but more importantly address an issue if it arises. I’ve had missing or misplaced orders with GrabFood twice. I was worried but when I appealed, have been given with a refund to be used with Grab than twice the amount I spent for the missing food. This is how you create loyal customers and satisfy them. Will I face an issue in future? Maybe yes, but when a company is spending twice the whole amount order for a refund, they sure will rectify every bit of it in future. Kudos Team Grab!

Grab not accepting PayPal payment option and MasterCard payment option (International) payment from overseas. We are ordering foods and doing payments from overseas like PayPal and International payment cards Grab is not accepting and getting decline. Grab need to check into it and upgrade your app.

Best thing I liked is all services under one single app. Due to which you don’t need to install multiple apps. But only one thing disliked, which is very recently, about the point system. Only those with their wallet. It’s a kind of greedy. Those who do not wish to use wallet they simply not getting any betterment.

The most stupid and irritating wait period.
I live a bit outside the city, so it is tough always to find a diver for Grab food all the time. But the stupid app, once the order is confirmed by the restaurant, keeps me waiting for bloody 20 minutes before the order can be cancelled. Most of the times, the driver is not found, but sometimes, after I decide to go to eat, the order gets confirmed. You should be able to cancel the order until it leaves the restaurant and is on its way. The most stupid app.
