Description
Chaduvu - Books, Audio Books, Short stories, Snippets and Magazines.
We founded IRADigital Publishers Private Limited and created the Chaduvu App with a single aim – play our part in the Access to Knowledge (A2K) movement. As Telugu speaking people ourselves, and with family members not fully conversant with other languages, we understood how language barriers can be a serious handicap. Also, not everyone has the fluency to read Telugu.
We set out to do our bit. The Chaduvu app not only brings books originally written in Telugu available for reading or listening, we also translate works from other languages. In addition, we deliver book summaries as well as original short stories to encourage new writers to build a following.
All this is made accessible via an extremely low-priced subscription, just enough to compensate authors and support operating costs.

I have taken the subscription for 1 year but it didn’t activate. After I raised the request it was activated for a month and was promised it will be renewed for year automatically, but the subscription is not activated. Today I tried connecting with them on their WhatsApp number but the messages are not delivery. I don’t know how to approach them.

It’s designed beautifully for the ease of reading. Happy to see classic telugu books in this app. Content is good, but sample size is limited. Need to add more and more books.

A very good app for Telugu book readers. I cannot stop using the app from the day i have downloaded. I have few suggestions. The books should be allowed to be downloaded offline in the app as we are not able to read the books without internet or wifi connectivity. Battery consumption is more and screen is frequently going to screen saver mode.Please
Keep adding old writers books along with new writers.

This is a great app for literature enthusiasts. It is much more improved than the version before January 2023. I will suggest one thing. Please give us an option to read and listen in offline mode. It will be very convenient to read and listen in trains or no network places. Please consider.

One thing I liked about the app at the outset is the text is easy on the eye. No glare, it didn’t feel like I was reading a PDF, it feels like an actual book. The customisation of font size, page turn, background colour are smooth.
But the deal breaker has to be the price. The subscription doesn’t burn a hole in my pocket, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. ₹299 (I made use of their launching offer) per annum for books as well as audiobooks, is a definite steal. With the constantly updating collection of books, I’m hoping this will save me a lot of money in the long run.

I usually read e-book. For a long time i was disappointed that Amazon kindle doesn’t have proper telugu books collection. In fact it seems like i am waiting for an app like Chaduvu that is telugu focused. The app is very well designed. It has easy to use interface and good options.
Things to improve:
1. Need more books. Please include translated versions of best selling books.
2. Please introduce a telugu dictionary where we can tap on a word and we can find the meaning.
Overall an excellent initiative. Thanks for the app.
