Bought HingeX, their priciest subscription after installing. No likes, no matches, nothing. Please issue a refund. I have a good profile and should have received some traction. My EXACTLY SAME Bumble and Tinder profiles get 3-5 matches per day on average. Here, my account is getting no visibility. The subscription is actually doing the opposite of what it’s supposed to be doing. What a scam.

I would rather choose bumble over hinge. Bumble gives you a lot of features with their cheaper premium subscription account and you will get more matches than hinge.
I have a suggestion for Hinge make subscription premium for lifetime with some amount and it should be cheaper so that people can think of taking it.

It was a fun app till out of the blue my profile got banned without any explanation as to what I’ve done. I had mailed the tech support team as well but no help from their side. I do not recommend this app because it’s support to customers is unreliable. It’s not even that they gave a warning for what I had apparently done to get me banned. This is unfair
After getting banned one of my friends told me that they saw my profile on hinge THAT WAS THE FAKE PROFILE. the fake profile probably banned me and is now using my pictures to chat with others.

nothing seemed to change. deleted, reinstalled,

the interim. I guess i got reported by a frustrated
user for may be not responding. This is so not
acceptable, hinge should properly investigate
the reason for getting reported, appealing to get
unbanned i guess is a lost cause, they never

dating app forever, for some jealous individual.
How is this acceptable? Please help me get my

Most profiles are fake, I randomly got banned from the app, sent an “appeal, thinking there’d be people with brains who would actually read it, but, no. No response. After a whole month of swiping left to fake profiles because this stupid app doesn’t even have an algorithm to make profiles verified like Bumble, but it’s also super risky because there are very few who are actually there to look out for some decent people man.
The worst app ever. I think they should delete the app for safety concerns or just get better lawyers.

Nowadays, it is easy for people to get catfished in to scams. This app helps people create fake profiles so they can scam other people. I have not been scammed so far because I am aware and know what details to share and what not to do on texts with the matches. I have been able to identify these scamsters and now I can report them as soon as I see their profile. However the hinge team is still unable to identify such profiles and fix their app to restrict such profiles on the app

Hinge is far better than Tinder, and to some extent, even Bumble. Haven’t seen any fake accounts so far. Very well designed.
The problem with Hinge is that there aren’t enough users. In my account, I got zero matches, zero. Same description and same pictures landed me matches on Bumble and Tinder, so I doubt I’m the problem. Either there are no users or Hinge isn’t giving me enough visibility (because of unusually high dislikes I faced or it wants me to pay money). Not paying up before seeing it works for me.

I thought the app was good at first. But then they deactivate my account with no explanation. They claimed that I’ve violated their terms of service, but when I emailed them asking for which particular terms, I got no reply. In fact, they explicitly stated that emailing them more than once would result in no reply whatsoever. Therefore, they claim to have the unilateral right to deplatform someone without providing any reason whatsoever. It’s absurd. There is no transparency, and therefore, no trust that one can have. Because they violate a basic principle of law, Audi alteram partem.

I don’t think there is any algorithm involved in the matchmaking here, I get the “best match” for random women who I wouldn’t normally swipe right on.
Secondly I see loads and loads of fake profiles. I end up having to swipe left 10-15 times before I see a real profile. I’ve reported profiles and seen them again on the same day, so definitely needs a better vetting system.
For these reasons I have never paid for the app. I’m uninstalling it to try other apps with stricter profile requirements.

So I have used this app for a week I guess I’m deleting it anyways....so my experience with this was way worse then You could think.. So it’s an app for scammers and cat fishing and black mailers...so they send you there WhatsApp number and the video call you and ask you to show your private parts and then record it and then blackmail you.... I must have reported more then 100 profiles like that... I experienced a blackmail myself which became very serious and I even complained to the cyber crime branch and weird enough nothing was taken care of then also...don’t get me wrong I didn’t do anything wrong but I had my friend with me on the call to make sure nothing goes wrong.. but I feel like this is one of the worst dating app that could be there... you would find real woman like 2 in 50 profiles... please be aware don’t answer to any of the requests to what’sapp numbers...

Hinge used to be one of the nicer apps earlier in India. Now, the profiles are all spam. Random shady pictures of women with their phone numbers or asking for cash in the answers section of their profiles. With no QC / verification this isn't the right app to use in this region.

Hinge has become worse than tinder, every 3rd profile is a fake with a random scenery or cartoon character profile picture. I deleted this app several months ago, but recently I decided to give this another shot, instantly regretted it because now they have become even worse! Regret the decision and really regret wasting a months premium subscription that I paid months ago. Seems like they aren’t even doing anything about it. The least they could do is add some sort of face verification process like bumble has. You’ve lost a user here, good-bye!

And now when I reinstall it it actually says I am being banned for violating your policies - I am assuming how? I’ve been paired with the worst kind of guys mostly on this app. Nobody is looking for a genuine connection. And this app really makes me question myself more than anything. Like do I deserve to be with such losers??? And I don’t mean to be conceited or shallow but man the guys I’m paired with according to your “algorithm” - let me just ask you, did you find them under a bridge? Like I would be married to a watch man by now if you had your way. Seriously man. Get your act together!!!

Let me start by saying that I am not going to compare this to Tinder in anyway, but I don’t think it’s any better. I got on this app looking to find someone compatible however every guy on this stupid app only wants a casual thing ( u know what that means ). So ladies if your looking to date this is not the app for you but if u wanna just fool around and have fun this is the place for you. I am extremely disappointed in this app I tried it for quite a while but no positive outcomes.

I would chose 9 times out of 10 when it comes to chose a dating app (and avoid Tinder). But it lacks a few things like putting a question of our own or a bio may be. Fav option: to like someone with a message. Excellently done! Another Fav: Ladies have to initiate the conversation! Wow!
Anyways, the biggest issue with the app is it’s repetitive when it comes to swipe through profiles. So I hardly saw like 50 profiles max in my 7-8 miles area and when I’m done swiping, they start all over again, no matter where i drag my pin location to! It’s annoying and glitchy too, specially the chats. Notifications are delayed and at times my messages topples above the senders last message. Hard to explain but its too buggy, the app. But still a better app anyday than Tinder!
