While trying to watch any show, it keeps on hanging & crashing. But Sony LIV does perfect it showing advertisements flawlessly.
Every time a stream hangs you have to restart and they shoot a series of advertisements.
While watching one show of 40 min, there are scheduled 5 set of advertisements but it hangs/crashes for 7-8 times and those advertisement sets (3 advertisements) appear each time.
So one show you have to watch advertisements sets 12-13 times or say 36-39 advertisements.
I feel Sony is being cheap here and purposely manipulating this situation to shoot more advertisements so they can bill their advertisers more.
They have some good shows like Master Chef, Indian Idol etc, but they have made sure you can’t watch any thing and your experience becomes absolutely pedestal grade.
Any other, any other app is better as atleast they are not manipulators.
Wish there was by any provision to give SONY LIV negative 5 stars, i would have definitely given them (- 5).
Deleting the app so I don’t support the sinister agenda of Sony LIV.

I have purchased sonyliv subscription on 4th March 2023 however it is not activated yet. I tried to raise queries through WhatsApp and app(Since I have not found direct customer care number) but issue is not resolved yet neither they have refunded the money. Not sure what such a reputed company will do such kind of frauds.
If I don’t get response here as well then I’ll take it to consumer forum and social media plateforms.

I use the iphone and i buyed yearly subscription from their app by using apple pay service as payment and upi but the app does not show that i am active member and it still asks me to subscribe if i try to watch videos.
Also when again trying to buy the subscription it shows me you are already subscribed. And when i tried to raise a contact with them via whatsapp by chat option in app it does not even open the app messenger panel.
There are so many bugs and i would really suggest apple users don’t use this app. Money eater

I am absolutely furious with Sony Liv. I have been a premium subscriber for months, paying a premium price for ad-free content. However, without any notification or warning, they have started showing ads on their platform even for premium users! This is a complete breach of trust and shows a complete lack of moral ethics. It's unacceptable that they can take my money and then turn around and show me ads. I feel cheated and robbed. I can't believe I trusted this company with my hard-earned money, only to be betrayed in this way. I'm completely disgusted and will be canceling my subscription immediately. Shame on you, Sony Liv.

I would like to info u about I face following problems as mentioned below :-
1. During download any movie/webseries episode, downloading progress in circle not show. After that I restart my iPhone and open app again, downloading progress shown and same download successful . In continioution I download second episode/movie but face same progblem like download progress in circle not shown and once again (2nd time) I reset my phone but this time when I open app then app automatically open and out(close) with in few second.
Here I info you about one more important issue that when my iPhone connect with Wi-Fi , app automatically out/close but be work properly with mobile data. Finally I have no solution and uninstalled app and install again but same problem in still.
In the over all conclusions I face 02 major issues as mentioned below -
1. Download circus not shown downloading before restart my device (as mentioned above).
2. App automatically out/close when device connect with Wi-Fi (as mentioned above).

Though the app and its contents are good but it’s user interface experience is quite poor for Apple TV 4K users. To make it precise the fast forward and backward feature on the app is so poor that each time I try to jump to particular part of the video it shuts off and shows a banner saying “retry” that doesn’t even work until I completely repeat the process to play a video. I would suggest the app developers to work on this to make the user experience little better.

This is the worst app and waste of time and money. Not only they have the most non-user friendly app with so many crashes and lags but they just fool you. I read reviews on google and people have same experiences like me. I bought the most expensive subscription thinking it would be nice to have and we can stream on multiple devices. But it never worked.
But just because I have paid and wanted to watch ad free shows I was still using this app on my mobile. I have to travel abroad frequently for work related trips and their app doesn’t work at all. During travelling OTT are your biggest company and I wanted to watch Kapil sharma show but they just do not allow me to login even though I had fully paid subscription. No other OTT platform has such stupid restrictions. SONY you are a big time fraud and money hoarder as always!!

I usually don’t write reviews , but am compelled to write a review, the app is super glitchy , many times it doesn’t allow the option to download a video despite being a premium customer , a downloaded video lags terribly specially if you rewind back to a scene , the video kind of stops there but audio is still running , no support from customer service at all , I raised a query three days back but no response from the support , I’m not subscribing this app again once my subscription is over . Sony - don’t fool your customers and hire some good developers before your existing customers burn out . One of the worst OTT platform I’ve seen.

Evening 7 pm onwards me and my wife are glued before TV to see programs on SonyLIV. From Punyashlok Ahilya till Yashomati ke Nandlala. Recently we have some glitch in our broadband so miss entire programs. In hopefully two weeks it will be restablished and we look forward to see all the programs. It’s not out of place to mention I have not missed a single episode of Indian Idol. Hats of too your team who devised it n go look for such talents. With every new season we feel these lot is not beatable but another season and again ear filling voices. I also admire the judges who promote these kids Thanks Sunil Shah

I have repeatedly sent out emails to convey that inspite of having a paid premium subscription account, the app still asks me to pay and doesn’t let me watch the content. Keeps taking me to the same payment page and then shows payment error even if I want to repay out of sheer frustration, just to watch the content I want. Having simple experience issues like this is unfathomable in this day and age. Haven’t had this experience with any other platform I’ve used and subscribed. It’s so so so disappointing, I’m on the verge of unsubscribing this Stone Age platform. DISAPPOINTING..

SonyLIV is one of the worst streaming platforms ever in terms of streaming performance, the app and the website are way too cluttered and takes ages to load, it may have some good content on board but the streaming quality is pathetic, keeps on hanging & buffering at 100 Mbps even though I can watch Netflix/Youtube/etc seamlessly on the same network without any issues whatsoever, only the SonyLIV streams keep hanging, please improve your streaming technology, hire some devs from Netflix, streaming should be smooth & without hang-ups/interruptions, a show of 45 mins takes over an hour to watch because of the constant loading issues !!!! Terrible experience
And they think they are in Netflix competition!!!!

It’s such a pathetic application, I’m not even sure how the company and their application team launched it. Is there not a proper upgradation process or what? Such a bad user interface(if you want to move to few episodes ahead you will need to get out of the season and search it separately), application hangs a lot and runs so slow as if server has not been provided enough resources. There should be a zero star option for review so that people can give correct review instead of selecting 1 star. Developer should be sacked even for introducing this application!!!!

Watching with online it is good. I am using iPad (only WiFi), if I have connected to Wi-Fi then only I can watch movies from SonyLIV. If I am travelling or been moving to remote locations for few days, I am not able watch. In simple terms the main feature, download option is not available. I don’t understand why they given one option My downloads in profile when there is no download option.
First I tried searching in internet if I am missing somewhere this option. But unfortunately, SonyLIV replied that there is no download option currently. We are working on that, for the twitter post on 2018. So, they are still working on one simple feature since 4 years.
👏Kudos to business team for prioritising their features.👏
Coming to another feature, we can’t see about the info of the movies. We have to watch movies directly from thumbnail. We don’t get the synopsis like briefing of the story, what kind of movie, rating etc.
P.S: at least try to learn from your competitors.

The Sony Liv app has to be one of the worst apps that has been every developed. There are more bugs in the app than the list of features!
To name a few:
1. Auto logout: you will be logged out on an extremely frequent basis and will have to login again and again
2. Pathetic UI for streaming. On many occasions, the screen will simply either get stuck or you will hear only audio.
3. More recently (today -14July22), I can’t even login anymore! It has stopped accepting OTPs and keeps on giving random error messages such as some socket error, generic failure etc. even tried reinstalling the app but no luck.
Don’t even get me started of the performance of this app on Apple TV. Always buffering, app doesn’t even open after a few days (you have to uninstall and then reinstall again).
As subscribers, we are stuck because Sony gets broadcasting rights of important sporting tournaments and we are forced to take these garbage subscriptions. I think we will eventually be going back to cable tv subscriptions!
Give me my flippin money back!

Past week I watched Rocket Boys. I was enthralled. In the last episode when the Rocket went up at Thumba, tears welled up in my eyes. I felt proud to be an Indian. I felt proud to be born in an independent democratic country like India. We haven chosen to name our great institutions after these great men who showed we are at par with anyone else in this world. Yet their heroic struggles are silently forgotten and no text book in our schools contain descriptions of these men who sacrificed and devoted their lives in pursuit of their dreams. Their story I am sure will inspire numerous young minds in this country. I wish this story is available free to all people in India. Thanks SonyLIV for giving us a gem and an opportunity to be proud of this great nation.

The live streaming is worst and it stuck in between in TV app. Even the internet connection is stable, it shows no network sometimes and works when restarts(not facing this issue with any other OTT live streaming.). It keeps on buffering in live streaming and stuck.. if we cant watch a live football match peacefully then why we need pay and take subscriptions. Such a shame. I repeat the connection was stable and other apps were running smoothly.. Waste!.. I repeat utter waste.. I’m watching finalissima and it stucks in buffering in TV app.. if you subscribe, then you’ll definitely going to miss the specila moments like goal coz it keeps buffering and sometimes display no internet.

Casting to Chromecast using this app on iPhone is cumbersome. Simple functions such as volume control, auto play next episode, back button from video page to home page are missing. Another glitch is that every time the iPhone goes on screen lock and is opened, the cast functionality disappears. In order to cast a single episode one needs to toggle multiple times between Sony Liv and Google Home.
I hope the developers will look into this seriously because the collection of titles is amazing and needs to be available for viewing on any platform!

The list of problems with this app, especially with the iPad version, is metaphorically endless. Every time I open it I find something new to frustrate me. To begin with, the UI is definitely the worst amongst all the streaming apps, we get better sound quality on cable TV and to compliment that, subtitles on most English movies is 404.
Now I find a decent movie amongst all the substandard trash, B-grade tv shows and movies that you keep in your 'library' and make the astounding discovery that there is no way I can download it on my iPad, thanks to your futuristic and well thought out design of the app. Thanks for nothing.

However, I was forced to write review and also give ratings to this app. Either of you will do it when you are highly impressed or extremely disappointed for me it is the latter one… so worst the experience of this app that I get frustrated…. First of all it is too slow … opens up after a minute or so. While watching it is very bad that too with downloaded contents… forget about streaming… highly disappointed with this. You may have excellent content but if you cannot give first hand good (at least) customer experience then you lose out then to competition.

Please work on the technical aspects of the app!
Always facing the issue of audio for downloaded contents. For example…Video is getting played for some episode and audio is getting played from some other episode ☹️
Why don’t downloads work in background? I have to always keep the screen ON while the content is getting downloaded. It just stops downloading while the device is locked!
These are not the issues you want to experience especially when we are paying premium for the services!!

This rating isn’t merely for the below par quality of the app, although that isn’t excusable either. I’m compelled to write this since the customer service (assuming it actually exists) is terrible. The login system for the app was changed based on mobile numbers, but the concerned team simply didn’t consider linking the new logins with previous methods (Apple ID in this case) and simply started treating mine as a new account. Tl;dr - I had one month of premium subscription left but thanks to this mess I can’t watch any premium content for the remaining 30 days since my purchase can’t be restored. On raising this with customer service, I was asked to show a purchase receipt twice, which I did and then radio silence from the other end. Any thoughts I had on renewing the subscription are surely gone for now. Unless and until this app gets a major overhaul tech wise, I’m not coming back. At the risk of stating the obvious, it’s not enough to have good content on an OTT app. The tech needs equal if not more attention, which is sadly missing here as of now.

It’s just disappointing to see so many problems with this app. I have to login to my account almost every alternate day because my account is signed out for no reason at all. The app Unknowingly crashes while watching Content.
Frankly speaking I’m using this is app ONLY because I have a Subscription and I enjoy watching very few content. Believe me I plan on uninstalling the app as soon as My Subscription is Over. I would rather prefer watching content on any other App with no content or even on a Website that has Pirated Content with ad pop ups all the time because atleast I wouldn’t have paid them for having to watch content with so many problems. I have subscriptions to almost all the mainstream OTT Platforms but This app has got to be the worst.

The app itself is alright and the UI is aesthetically pleasing. But the iPad app lacks a lot of features. There’s no way to add movies to your watchlist from the iPad, such a basic feature is missing from the app. Secondly, the quality of the content for the first 5-10 seconds is atrocious and then it gets better after that. why not take some time and load the content at the preferred quality in the background?
The content in itself is really good, hope to see more international cinema land on SonyLIV.

I subscribed for 1 year premium. However, I am unable to watch anything as it showing you are not subscribed. When i am trying to purchase the 1 year premium again, it is showing that you are subscribed till December 2022. Already shared all my details on email and received one call but still issues hasn’t been resolved. Worst app ever I have used. Nothing compared to Netflix. Hot star and FanCode. This app doesn’t not deserve even 1 star. There’s is no option to give 0 stars I would have been happy to give that.

First up, the app is amazing for viewing content. I got the subscription mainly for the Ashes and wasn’t disappointed one bit with the quality of the stream. Both on an iPad and a Mac with the promotion display, no pixelations at all.
I had streams open for an entire day of test go the breaks as well and am yet to experience a drop off or interruption. (This is mainly on good indoor Wi Fi and not on a mobile network so , there’s that)
Now for the parts that make the app almost unusable: The ads. The present tournament seems to have only a handful of sponsors that aren’t mainstream and the ads tend to be highly repetitive and timed awkwardly at times to come on between overs when the Fox sports broadcast goes through heat maps and analysis content. This is fine for a while , but over a full days test cricket, it makes it a terrible viewing experience.
Given this is the first time I’m using the app, I think it’s fair to cut them some slack as they figure out the user experience, but the ad load definitely makes me reconsider my purchase.
Four stars for now purely on the quality of the video content feed. Please work on the ads part if you don’t want to burn your early users out.

The only content that is worth watching in this bad app is the uefa champions league and I’ve paid for a year to watch it . It is to note that I have not been able to watch it even once without the app crashing or not able to load the stream properly. I thought it was due to a bad internet connection then I upgraded to a better plan but still this app amazes me in the way it crashes there is no other option of watching uefa cause if there was I would have used it. If u guys are planning to buy this bad(bad being an understatement) I suggest you to invest the money in Sonys stocks cause the way they are scamming people they are bound to make a ton of profit

I only watch this for one show. There are advertisements in the middle of the video. I will be watching the show and suddenly there will be the advertising audio running in the background which doesn’t make any sense because my video will still be playing and it will be hard to discard that audio I have to close the application restart the app and continue watching my show and this is not the first time it has been happening for a long even though after the upgrade it still does this okay.

There are so many misleading subscription plans to loot customers hard-earned money.
But my main complain is that we don't get the full screen option on iPhone(x,xs,xr,11,12,13). They didn't optimized the app for these devices. Okay, you don't update the app to these news iPhone Models but at least make the sides full black instead of gray. App support upto 16:9(aprox) and all videos would play in this aspect only even if the video support other aspects. All videos are bound to play at 16:9 ration because this is the maximum aspect they allow. While watching in landscape mode on both left and right side there are huge gray screen, which is developers faults. I know this can happen but even after years they're not fixing this. Also UI is very buggy and play controls are cheap. Learn from other apps Sony... Don't just charge people, give then valuable experience
Also, in this app Home button(line) doesn't disappear automatically or it's permanent. After charging premium price from customers they don't even bother to update & fix it.

There is no sound for the downloaded videos and even after selecting the settings option and selecting the default English sound the app crashes immediately. I tried uninstalling and installing again and also deleting the downloaded contents but now the sound is completely gone for the contents which I downloaded once and there is no way to get the sound back for those contents.
Worst app experience from such a paid subscription.
Please fix these bugs and test the sound feature thoroughly before releasing the next upgrade version.

Guys, please do not download or subscribe this app because they are fraud people they will take your money and will not activate the subscription and there is no customer care who will help you. After watching KBC I have downloaded the Sony Liv app and subscribed for one month amount has been charged for my card and still subscription is not active I had sent so many emails to the concerned team and raise a complaint in the contact us option but no resolution yet. In the app store, it's showing subscription will end on 30 Sep and in this app, it's not active yet and also I have been charged twice for this. So do not trust and don't download fraudulent application

Haven’t seen such a pathetic OTT app. I am a premium member which means I can watch on 2 screens simultaneously. Logged in to my phone and TV, app was open on my phone and was trying to watch IndVsEng on TV but the screen popped up that you have reached maximum screen limit (which was 2 in my case). Then I closed both app and tried to watch only on mobile but the popup came and and didn’t allow me to watch on phone as well. I checked device management in settings and it showed only 2 logins. Basically even on being a premium member i am being denied of premium content. Even the basic OTT apps are better than this. Because of this issue I was not able to watch lots of great matches during Olympic. If there was a 0 ratting I would have given that but sadly we have 1 star as minimum. I will never subscribe again. SonyLIV please hire better developers to build your app.

I have few points which irritates user: 1) I don’t why does this app requires Bluetooth to boot up. All the time when I open it asks for Bluetooth, which is very annoying. 2) When I get call or if I jump to other app from this app, it won’t start from where I left. It reboots the whole app and doesn’t show in my watch list. 3) Not good content in Highlights of cricket match: This is one of the worst experience in my whole life, it won’t show important things in highlights like wickets, fours, dramatic moments etc. 4) Ind Vs. Eng: If whole highlights video is completed then there is no option to go back to Home Screen, which is very irritating. Finally, this app is not much comfortable, if the app is not ready why the contract of Tokyo Olympics 2020 and Ind vs. Eng 2021 has been broadcasted?

The app hangs randomly, and frequently logs the user out, needing to trigger login through OTP often, unlike Netflix, Prime Video or Hotstar!
Another silliness I discovered recently is that if you’re watching a program, and beneath it is a list of other programs happening parallel (like in Olympics), and then if you switch then the audio of the previous program stays ON and you get combined audio streams in the next one you’re watching! You need to necessarily pause or close one program to watch another!!

The touch response time in the app is very slow. The screen rotation often doesn’t seem to work. Exiting a stream is a tedious process as it gets stuck to the display screen of that particular stream.
I mainly use this app to watch live sports games. The advertisement in between overs during a cricket game doesn’t load properly without starting the game. I’ll have to exit the stream and load again to continue watching.
The video quality is not great when compared to other streaming platforms especially live sports games.
Casting a live stream is very bad as it randomly chooses a language. I cannot change the language as the options/subtitles menu doesn’t open while casting. Sometimes the cast is audio is 10s slower or faster. The advertisement seems to screw up the audio more while casting.
One good thing about the app is the SonyLiv Twitter support has a very fast response but even after a complaint the issues continue to occur.

I buy subscriptions to specific watch Olympic. But I never found any Indian event live. Search is very poor and confusing. I always get highlights for Indian event but no live streaming also showing schedule is not good. Never got any notification for live event for India. Looks this app is not made for Indian guys.
Same issue with web. Lower streaming experience with 100 mbps plan. I know people will think like I might have Internet issue but I am an technical guy. I can watch movies and series with good experience. 1992 is really good series and experience was also good on mobile and web.

You guys have some of the best content libraries, great resolution and some marquee shows in india. But the amount of bugs in the app are too many to count. The whole app is very heavy on the phone, the app just keeps throwing network disconnected error even when every other app functions perfectly and the app is very unstable. Moreover there are a few episodes of a few shows that are simply absent ruining the watching experience, it shows the episode number and synopsis but when it comes to watching the episode it keeps throwing errors. Please fix this app across all your platforms! I am already regretting buying a premium subscription on SonyLIV because of the combination of all of these providing a terrible user experience.

Sony LIV covers almost every sport. For daily watch they are slowly adding good content but there can be more like others. But so far the new content like Kathmandu Connection, Maharani have been really good. Also the sports coverage being the best part. The interface is friendly. But the catalogue is still small as compared to others. Would appreciate some old stuff being added here.

I took the subscription only to euro 2020 as it wasn’t available anywhere else but i must say i am highly unsatisfied. The app on my samsung smart tv doesn’t work properly. The live video keeps lagging and the quality is too bad, all pixelated. Hotstar on the other hand does commendable job at live telecasts. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and spend hard earned money on subscription like this which is just waste of time and money. Have to restart the app again n again because it stops to load live telecast abruptly at crucial moments. Very very bad, highcourt unsatisfactory.

I really pity the developers working in this app. Also I suspect there is a massive review fraud going on since there are only 5 star reviews and one star reviews. Reading through one star reviews, I am able to see the pain of some poor frustrated soul . They write reviews in the hope someone will take notice and improve the app. Nope ;the moron in the management has an even better idea. They decided that they will buy 5 star reviews to balance out the bad reviews . The current star rating histogram is the living proof of this fraud. This is a steaming app, and it won’t be so polarising that half the people hate it and half the people love it . It’s unfortunate that Sony would deem an app with this low standard of design ‘fit for release’. The app really drags down the amazing content that the app has. App is filled out pathetic design decisions made from porting the same app to multiple platforms and lack of dedication do create an app for iOS that is complementing the iOS design language. Such half hearted effort unfortunately makes this app unbearable inspite of some amazing content. Same story on Apple TV app. If you’re not interested in developing the app then why not just create a channel on Apple TV+ service just like Eros Now did? Why make us download an app that is this pathetic? What disappoints me most is being a SONY app that has such a massive legacy of cutting edge content technologies like HD, HDR etc. the app doesn’t show any content in Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos compatibility. All I can say is it does injustice to the Sony name and it’s legacy. If you can’t make a great app, take this content and put it as a channel on Apple TV+ like Eros now. At least we won’t have to deal with this app’s miserable UI.

Aesthitics of the app are fine. But usability is poor. If you cast it to a chromcast, autoplay from one episode to next episode doesn't work.
I have to manually select next episode and then cast it. Wait before i do this, i need to close the app window and open app again. The search my show and then cast the next episode.
Yesterday i wanted to watch FA cup final and Juventus vs inter match, live stream of both the matches wasn't working. I tweeted online and was promised an action. But none tillnow. I used my head and went to live TV - only then i could watch it. Whats the point of this app then??

Worst app ever award goes to SONY LIV. I use lot of tv channel apps and so far the most frustrating, annoying app is this. Slow response, lags, hanging, app restarting (in mid of a running show) are the features. Every time I use the app to watch something I rather get up irritated bcz of the app performance. And I always wonder SONY being such a big brand, how can it have such pathetic app. Earlier I used to buy subscription, now I watch for free cz I am ready to shows a day or two later than wasting my money on such poor performing app. SHAME.
P.S. had to give 1 star as there is no option to write review without giving at least 1 star else I would have had given it no star at all.

App is not at all user friendly with lots of bugs and ads while you watch. I had the subscription earlier which seems to be fair earlier. Now they are at cloud 9 asking 999 Rs. for the subscription. Come on SonyLIV don’t be a kid!!! Stop comparing yourself like any other Online platform. Your app lacks feature; content; stability;
Being a professional Computer Engineer... I suggest you first change your IT development team. And learn also before you build any feature take some inspiration from other apps or a user survey might be helpful.
Check your app size it’s more than 200MB while other apps with better feature remains under 70-80MBs something’s not correct!!
Once you have a stable app ask for higher price.

If the tech glitches weren’t bad enough, there’s still the bad interface and the total inability to find a video you are looking for, even if it’s highlights from just the previous night.
The random ads in the middle of episodes or tv shows even when you are a paying customer is sort of pointless, and has you wondering why they still charge you for any of this bad stuff. Could not find a month to month option either when i tried to subscribe but it shows up randomly now everywhere else.
Even a basic feature of minimising the video to a Picture in Picture view isn’t possible, and neither are headphone controls.

Sony Liv is the most pathetic app I have ever used. Such a bad user interface, such a slow app. It takes more than 1 minute to just load the app, and above that it lags at every touch.
There are so many ads that it seems like an ad streaming app rather than a content streaming app. Plus app crashes after every 2-3 minutes, it really gets frustrating to keep restarting the app to use it. Like while playing KBC, it keeps getting crashed and then app needs to be restarted again and again and in all this, timer for answering the question gets over.
Didn’t expect this kind of app experience from Sony who make such great electronic items (Bravia TV, PlayStation to name a few) which have great user interface, but seems like they have paid no attention to Sony liv app.
Wonder how come it’s at number 2 in Apple App Store in entertainment category (seems like they paid Apple to do so)

This is the 1st app which I have uninstalled within 10 minutes. Too much ads like every 2-3 minutes 3 ads will be there. While opening a app it’s taking time also. If any video is played and move some other menus then currently playing video where it’s hiding don’t know but in background it will keep playing, to stop that video it’s required to kill the app. For such type of app I don’t think so taking subscription plan is good. I don’t know how their business team giving such idea for this app which are not even able to encourage user to go for subscription plan.

Most of the time app doesn’t work. It takes more than 2 mins to load the app. Most of the times the options won’t load while playing KBC. If options are loaded u won’t be able to lock the same. The questions with pictures are not clear. The KBC Play Along is a scam as due to the App issues u will never be able to win anything at least in ios app. Also the plans mentioned for subscription do not give u complete information as the complete picture of the package is not visible.
I purchased membership for ₹399 and later came to know i can’t watch the shows on the App. I need to upgrade the plan.
So it’s a scam. And this app is not even worth a single star

I normally dont write reviews but here i am compelled to write one. It is such a glitchy and poorly made app. It become frustrating to watch anything. Keeps crashing all the time, has an insane number of ads(every 3-4 mins)(and because of the crash have to see ads again. Cant resume where we left off after crash, need to start again and see ads twice (one for opening video and one for the scroll to where we were watching at). Also scroll/video player has stopped working since last app update. The continue watching feature doesnt work. It is soo difficult to navigate the app and fine the show. Then the episode you were at, and then the time you were watching at. Such good content, such a shoddy app. Pls fix it! For a brand like Sony and in an age of digital revolution of OTT consumption of content, how are you so far behind in the tech race?(app store rating of 2.2!)

Subscribed to the app even though I could access all the sports action from my Airtel account, just for the higher quality. But whenever I try to watch something, always get the error of the content being accessed from multiple devices even though I know for a fact that I am the only accessing it from just one device. Really feel foolish for having subscribed. I am still having to watch from my Airtel account. Don’t subscribe if you are reading this. And SonyLIV people, please don’t respond with your boilerplate ‘we need more details’ because I know you are going to do nothing about it. The screenshots are misleading. It is not an ad-free experience at all. There are ads on all live streams even when the original broadcast doesn’t. I don’t know why Apple is getting SonyLIV get away with such a misrepresentation. What a waste!

This is the most irritating app you could download. Don’t watch anything on this app. Don’t download. There is better content on much better apps out there. This doesn’t even looks like an older version not updated. I have not seen this bad streaming app ever made.
No point engaging in there content because then you will be bound to see it and you will curse yourself to have started it at the first place. The rewind and forward doesn’t work. There is no way you can play an episode again except rewinding which doesn’t work. You will feel as if you have gone back to dial up era of internet which cannot match the patience level we have in todays era.
Sony, either improve your app or please take it off the market.
