I have paid membership since last one year and I have regretted it multiple times. So, eventually I am opting out.
The user interface and algorithms are pathetic. Suggested songs are completely irrelevant. If you click a song in playlist, app creates it’s own playlist full of crap songs and all the original playlist songs are gone.
In web version, even after having a paid membership, if you use ad-blocking tools, it won’t play songs until you enable ads. What’s the point of having paid membership then.
The user interface is so ugly and unusable that it is simpler to learn the console of an airplane rather than learning to use this app.
The sound quality is also disappointing. After every few minutes, the music quality keeps changing, sometimes there is only lyrics and sometimes only music while in other apps on the same phone the sound is perfectly fine.
I don’t know why this company cannot hire some good engineers and developers, who can make user friendly application.

Subscription is cheap, practically free along with Times Prime and many other offers but there is something that has been bugging me for quite awhile now, one of my playlists got completely deleted, number of songs in my other playlists are decreasing everyday.
Not sure what is happening and why would anyone waste hours searching for songs and adding them to a playlist if it ultimately will be deleted without even taking your consent.
Cancelled my subscription and never planning to renew, would better pay a premium for other streaming apps.

I love the app and have been using it since long. However, there was a UI bug on my iPhone X model wherein the icons (at the bottom of the main screen) extended beyond the screen and were only half visible. Now, on a higher iPhone model I am getting 2 “My Library” icons next to each other. Tapping one works fine but tapping other does nothing at all. This is weirdest bug I have ever encountered. I guess this one should not be difficult to fix.

I have been using CARVAAN for few years now. Off late I have started using Alexa. I personally think that CARVAAN has to update itself to remain relevant in current times 😊
Some of the suggestions are;
1. It gets repetitive. So, it should be possible to update it at least once a year though internet.
2. To use it remotely through mobile, you have to keep it ON and playing songs. To my mind, it should be easy to control it through blue tooth, if kept powered ON.
3. If online periodical updation is not possible, please start an exchange offer so that people can have updated collections.

The cost of the annual plan is great but the app is not user friendly because -
1 there’s no easy way to navigate to downloads section. Just add a download button instead of the useless gaana plus section. That section is useless as your algorithm already suggests those things on home screen.
2 too many suggestions on Home Screen that’ll just confuse the user instead of helping him finding a good song.

When I was trying the app without subscription, then this app for great , suggested playlists were nice. Had no bugs . But after taking the subscription, this app boils my blood a lot. So slow , doesn’t respond. There is no option to remove a song from downloads, after you have deleted it. Pathetic suggestion. Earlier it like the adds used to embarrass me , now it the songs, I don’t know what pathetic songs is gonna play next . I will never take the subscription again. I'm using gaana since 2014 every time I'm using one time purchase fir renewal but this time subscribed it via apple pay for auto renewal. Amount was debited form my account and subscription still not activated after 6 days.
Trying to contact many time shared every details but every day a new person attend the chat and asking for all details after listening whole store and of the day he told try to reinstall app and try toh restore purchase.
Both of ways are not working tell them many time but same next day new person arrived and asking for whole story and tell me to do same things.
Seriously if you can't manage the auto renewal system then why don't you remove it from the apo.
I'm giving you last chance if you can't activate my subscription the refund my amount.

Facing so much bugs in latest version… Even reinstalled it for 4-5 times. Still facing the same issue.. Gaana app/link is not connecting to smart TV. It shows connected but in actual it isn’t connecting to the TV. Even on phones downloaded songs plays only one song and then automatically quits off the Gaana app.. Like If I played ‘Stay’ on then it will play till the end and then instead of playing next song the app gets quit and stops playing songs (when we keep our data off).. Please fix these issues.. If you create a playlist and add a lot of songs in it ..after a while ..few songs disappear on their own.. from that playlist ..and because there are many songs you won’t even know that they have disappeared… you will listen to the same songs again and again and get bored ..The purpose of a music app is to keep you entertained all the time but if this happens then.. it has no meaning at all.. also most of the downloads are completely gone after sometime.. and if you happen to install the app on another device and login ..,unless you have created a playlist, your songs won’t be backed up.. This app is not at all user friendly.. Many times the entire playlist itself is deleted.. Songs u have have collected over many years may be gone by tomorrow..it happened to me once..luckily i had written the songs on a paper because I didn’t trust the app

Writing my review as paid member and using this app from last 3 yrs. Not happy with app and improvements. Example, the app crashes if you are opening a previously downloaded playlist which is recently removed but appears in your download. Why can’t you refresh downloads and likes if playlist and album is removed otherwise allow to play . Secondly, if I am playing a playlist and navigated somewhere else, no way I can trace the Name of playlist I selected and I am playing, song will only give album name. Alexa search is pathetic, you tell a less popular album or playlist name that exists in Gaana and Alexa will not find. Gaana will create some automated mixed playlist, which you cannot remove from your list. I can keep writing about issues…Customer support pathetic, they read half of your message and reply. Can you guys be more active?

This app is the worst I have come across in some time. Seeing it’s high publicity I downloaded the app and paid for its premium account for one year. Exactly after one month they want me to pay again the same amount. Then it’s showing it’s payment is expired. I was clearly frustrated and I tried contacting the customer care multiple times and there was absolutely no response. They provide no phone number for the customer care and only provide the email and chatting option both which takes a long time to reply. The replies you finally get after a long time will make absolutely no sense. I have never come across a company with such a bad service. I am giving my experience here so that no one else calls into their trap like I did.

I love this app because its user friendly. The collection of songs and instrumental is fairly good. What is not appreciated is that the lyrics in some cases do not match with the actual songs which is irritating.
The main aspect of my displeasure about this app is the quality of support. I was a paid member earlier but unfortunately could not take advantage of the benefits due to some technical reason. However, your customer support team never prompted or came to my help to link my phone to my membership. Though I was mostly using the app from my registered phone for the songs and music, it was always treated as separate free membership and was never linked to my paid membership. I have been paying the membership fee for couple of years but never was I prompted to link my phone to the paid membership. Finally, I withdrew my subscription as your support team never did anything in this regard. I thing your customer team should have acted more professionally rather than sitting quietly since the subscription was coming without any hassle. I hope your customer care need to be little proactive in this regard to help the customer to get what he is paying for.

When I purchased a subscribtion I didn’t know this app such a waste. Musics starts playing without any reason and their hotshot will play in background of your iphone even if you exit. I made the payment of subscribtion but this app kept trying again and again to deduct the amount from my credit card. Thanks to god that I had temporarily blocked my card earlier. But I’m still in trouble as their customer support is worst and my subscribtion auto renewal is not getting cancelled. Worst app I have used till now. Their is no option to delete my card details from app or cancel auto renewal.

Once there was a time that gaana application was one of the most liked applications of all other applications compared to it . However the company changed its policy and Gaana app becomes blunder for people.
The only thing gaana is doing is playing advertisements and the basic Moto of Gaana applications created changed from Playing songs shifts to Playing advertisements only because after each 2 songs what we witness is 30 seconds one advertisements and sometimes when that 30 is not enough according to them then they play another 15 seconds advertisements. Hey people put your attention towards what people love about your application not in only earning lots of money through advertisement !! Hope u get what my concern was about

Im a Gaana plus member since 2 years now. But I was no longer interested in continuing with it anymore. On 14th Dec’20 I was charged with my saved card details without my authorisation. I got this msg at 12:19 am I immediately sent the chat to customer support saying I have been charged without my knowledge please cancel the membership & issue me refund! But the guy named DANISH in customer support, writes me that it’s impossible to be charged without the pin & otp inspite of it being mentioned in the msgs that I was charged without pin/ otp in the screenshot I sent to him. He addresses me as SIR shows me a number which doesn’t belong to me, and says we sent a renewal msgs on that number inspite of that number not being my registered authorised number!! Says I should be talking to my bank about card details been stolen but we can’t refund you!!
What the hell is this!? Don’t you guys have any responsibility towards your members??? Or are you in such bad losses that you need to loot & keep the customer’s money this way???

Hello gaana , i like the app and using flipkart super coins I purchased the plus subscription but i am facing the problem with the app, it automatically logout everytime and i need to login into the app every time by using otp which is irritating thing for anyone. I listen songs by downloading them as i am not heavy internet user but still i need internet to loginto the app so plz solve this issue why the app automatically logout. I have contacted the customer support and uninstalled and then install the app but the issue isnot yet solve. Plz do something

- why each time I need to enable shuffle option each time when start playlist. It will be really helpful if app can remember shuffle n repeat option for all playlists
- on bad internet connection once song get pause due to no connection, it will not autoplay when internet connection gets back. It’s painful while driving have to open app and play again list

Well i have been user of Ganna plus since almost 3 years now , never ever got any issue with the App but since the last update i have been experiencing many issues first n foremost the app is not getting opened n if it get open then it gets crash within few seconds n then when i try to get it opened again then the screen goes blank n then no response
So i hope tht the developing team should look into this ASAP n get it fixed in no span pf time so tht i can enjoy my music again smoothly

Ive been using Gaana app for more than a year. The reason why i liked it alot was availability of songs and the Radio feature. With recent update, the radio option on profile crashes the app, its removed from home page, the task bar has all the new features like hotshots, podcasts and buzz- I dont any of these and dont want to see on taskbar!
Can you please give an option to customise the taskbar buttons to user’s most used features or atleast fix the radio feature on home and profile pages? Cause thats one of the most used features for me.

It is very easy to navigate and explore gaana app. However, the only thing which is bothering me a lot is the random pop ups that never close. I know ads are part of this app but they should be easy to close. I have an iPhone 11 and this new ad comes up all my screen, that too is tolerable but the cross icon for add shows up at top right corner where battery icon is displayed. I am not able to close which means you can’t change songs and you have to close and open app again and again. Please fix this team Gaana and make it more pleasing to navigate even with ads. It’s been 5 years since I have been using gaana to listen to my favourite songs. Initially for couple of years I was using free version then I tried subscription version for few months then became regular subscriber. The sound quality made me fall in love with gaana app. I tried many other music streaming apps but no one could replace gaana. The subscription charge is value for money. Gaana has revolutionised the way people used to listen to music. It’s evolving day by day. Thanks for making Gaana.

I have been using this app since 2 years and loving it day by day.
- What I really like about the app is it’s manually curated playlists and almost perfect similar song selection.
- I have used other competitor apps as well but their playlist is not upto mark.
- Also very much liked the audio stories like Ramayan, Kahanibaaz etc.
It’s not just a music app instead a complete world of music and entertainment.
There are few areas for improvement as well.
- Like app keeps downloading some videos in background which keeps eating storage and with 16 GB storage it would be nightmare. Already reported this issue to their CC but no one fixed this issue.
- I feel there must be a separate tab consisting that Moods section as it’s most useful feature to start your day. Right now it’s difficult to find that section from messy home screen.
Hope app developer would consider these features and thus I can revise my rating to 5.
You pay less.. you get their content on the first page! Which are in a way ads!!

I found this app very good and I am happy wigh the paid subscription. Sound quality, playlist management everything is good but I found that this app automatically donwload video in background even I have done settings not to show video while playback. And the list is very long and it becomes really hard to delete each video downloaded from settings as it takes memory. Please let me know how to disable automatic donwload of video or this is default behavior of application.

I’ve been using Gaana Plus for more than a year and I actually enjoy this. Great quality and nice interface. Recent update has been disappointing as the “shuffle” option is messed up (will only shuffle the "100 songs around the first played song". Second improvement is the scrolling in "DG Downloads" is change. The earlier one was better. Will be really happy if these 2 can be stored!
Apart from these 2 recent updates, the app is highly recommended for music lovers like me.

I’m regular Gaana plus user and it rocks!
However after recent update i noticed an important function of sorting the downloaded songs In alphabetical order (side column) is vanished. Guys, plz bring back the needed option and check and test the update before public release.
Other option to have default shuffle for songs is not available, every time has to be done manually.
I’m sure this glitch shall be resolved Other than this the song collection and the membership are at par.

I use free membership and found that this is the service could be good for me so I opted for gaana membership. I really liked the recommendations app gives. They are exactly what I like.
But there are few inconvinient things that make this service irritating:
1. Playlist management from laptop's browser-
I have habbit of making mood based playlists. But from browser whenever I tried to add any song to a playlist I aleays get pop up message that 'verification mail has been sent to your mail id'. I am not sure what is the logic behind this however I can do the same thing seamlessly through ios app.
2. You can build your playlist but can't find it- You can build your playlist seamlessly through app but I never found it when I want to play it. What a foolish design? I always get song recommendations but we build playlists for a reason. Recommendations are not always helpful. Playlists should be found easily.
3. Poor customer service- I talked to customer service for the problem mentioned in point 1. I got instant reply asking me to share the screenshot. Good till here. But after sharing that I did not even got the acknowledgement. I am still hoping since a week that they will reply to my query.
If they take care of above things I will raise my ratings.

I have been a Gaana plus user since the time it was launched on ios. I had never faced any issues until now. But the current issues are making me rethink on continuing with it.. Let me give you the list of problems.
1. The app crashes frequently.
2. Downloaded songs don’t play in offline or online mode in the desired sequence, instead the player itself adds non downloaded songs in the queue which wastes my mobile data. This happens even when I chose the offline Mode in the settings.
3. Even after deleting the downloaded songs, the app keeps downloading them over and over again.
These are not minor issues, and should be worked upon ASAP , else Gaana plus will lose it’s existing customers.

I'm a free user of the app and have veen enjoying it for quite some time but today suddenly a message popped up "This song is not available in your region (AU)" whenever i clicked on some of the songs which i listened to a few minutes ago. Due to this i am prevented from listening to some of my favourite artists. I hope that this issue is looked into and can be somehow solved because if not,then i will be left with no other option but to switch over and really don't want that.

I am using Gaana on iPhone 7plus and since few days auto play is not working. After one song it stops, I have to unlock the phone and then wait for a minute for next song to start or pause and play again to listen to next song. Also earlier while playing songs on Gaana, the song name and Play, Next and previous buttons used to come in notification bar, that also has stopped

Its a great app for one who listens songs all day but since last couple of days its having a problem. Songs stops after each song when application is in the background or phone screen is off though there are many songs left in the queue. So i have to comeback and play the next song. This is getting frustrating. I have checked all sort of problem like autoplay,network, wifi, etc. even uninstalled app and angain downloaded it but no improvement. Please help.

Good app but needs some improvements in syncing and downloading. It is very difficult to make the app open on the screen and waiting for downloading to finish. Wh n we are doing something on other apps, it stops downloading. It warns that downloading will be slow. Actually it just stops downloding. Improve in a such a way that the downloading can be done during night when we can just open and start downloading and go to sleep and the all are downloaded when we wake up.

I really appreciate the app for the ease at which I can search for songs and the control over the app. I was surprised to find songs on here that may not be well known or those which have been forgotten with time.
However, I think we could have more songs from the kpop category apart from BTS.
I’ve noticed that the order of the track lists of albums keep altering(Before you ask, It’s not in the shuffle setting). I would appreciate it if they stayed constant the way it was arranged by the producers and the artist of the album.

I absolutely love the new update! Gaana was a good app from the start no doubt about that but if I wanted to sing along I had to search in Google or install other music apps that had that features. I’d always come back to this but having to add other apps or searching on Google was a bit inconvenient.
Now it has also given the option of customising how the lyrics would look according to how we would like it to be and that’s like the best upgrade it has come up with this far.
I’m hoping more improvements in the future with more newer updates 👍🏻

I believe team has put a lot of effort in getting this app in right shape. Marvellous job team and kudos!! Extremely happy with the way the app has got its shape, not only with the features alone but the selection of songs and recommendations are also really good. I was using iTunes till a month ago but now I have become a fan of Gaana :). Just few tweaking required like improving the lyrics display and syncing along with the song. This is my most liked feature for now :) Great job team!!

Am in love with this app cause am all time listening to music..no matter what am doing there’s always music playing at low volume around me! But since few days am facing an issue- whenever i switch to some else station or radio in the app, my app crashes! Brings me back to home screen please fix this! Whenever track changs while playing Radio, it has to update immediately once song changes, but it doesn't change I have to for 3-5 min or reopen the app, if I want to download the same some which is playing on radio, I can't as it shows me the previous song name, either I have to search the some with name or I have to wait till it updates the song name.

Gana has improved a lot since its inception and i have been a subscriber from the beginning.
Why is it that one simple feature of being able to see the songs as album is missing after som many updates. When i download a song the album which the song belongs to should be visible under albums in my library. Why do i have to download the complete album to be able to see that.
This is a basic feature every other music subscription service is offering you need to figure out and update your app.

The playlist needs to be updated. Me being a Bollywood song listener tends to play the top charts. Gaana should update the top charts very frequently. Also there are multiple tracks and albums for every song. If there is only one track per song, it becomes very easy. If possible I would like gaana to only keep one track or album per song and not multiple tracks per one song. Also I would like gaana to add songs which are albums by singers and songs not featured in movies to also be there in top chats. For e.g.- songs by darshan raval are super hit and should be there in top charts section too. Thank you

I'm a subscriber of Gaana+. Unfortunately since yesterday I can't log in using my Facebook or Google profile. It is saying that it has encountered some unknown error! I am using the latest iOS 10.3.3 and Gaana app version 7.4.0 . I have reinstalled the application that has deleted all the downloaded songs in my iPhone. But still I can't log in. I tried to chat through the Gaana app but didn't receive any reply after repeatedly sending texts. Please help me out of this problem.
