The moment there is a sensational news involving a good looking lady, Manorama make sure to target those ladies !! Today’s news with pictures about that teacher in Kannur was beyond imaginations!!! I used to receive notification on a timely basis until may be 3-4 days back. Since then the notifications are not coming. I tried uninstalling the app and re installing. Checked the notification settings on the phone and app. Still not working. Plz rectify the bug asap.

Other than ads , another most annoying thing is that embedded videos fail to play . There is no option to select the quality of playback if the network speed is an issue .Even when connected to WiFi , there is only sound and no video . This issue had been there for long even with many updates.

Never have I ever seen an app that has so many ads. If there's any video in the news, try playing it, there comes the ad, that too 30+ seconds ones without any option to skip. All other apps provide option to skip the ads after 5 secs, you guys don't even give that option. You see one video, first 30 we've gone on ads, if you want to play the next video, or even see the same video again, again, another 30+ secs. Never thought that the standards of such a reputed organisation would downgrade to this level.

I have been using manorama products more than 15years. But recently I noticed that Manorama has changed their political view. Before it was more independent, now it became more into sangh Ajenda. I stoped reading their news line one by one.

I am Manorama reader since 34 years , I was happy to see the mobile app( even it was with so much ads ). From today morning itself(9th December 7 am onwards started crashing and blinking like star on iPhone). I am using iPhone XR with latest operating system (14.2). I was on Mobile data connectivity (Vi -4G full signal strength). Please fix the issue ASAP.

Advertisements on free apps are acceptable but there is a limit. Here it too much and many adds even crashes the app and we have to restart the app. Another annoying thing is repetition. Trust MM will resolve these issues at the earliest by putting their vast experience in this field.

Thanks to Manorama and their stupid application. The amount of ads drove me nuts and the same can be said for click bait titles. After searching for a good alternative finally decided to purchase a 1 year subscription of The Hindu e-paper. Manorama should take into account this, newspaper medium should never be considered as a display medium. Bringing pop ads while reading an article is completely against the ethics of reading. Everyone knows the fact that ads are necessary for revenue and future support but it should not be done by compromising reader experience. At least try to give an alternative option like a paid version or a subscription at affordable rates.

(Rarely showing news with standard title)if we click on some type of news/video/image app will be crashed! Duplicated news... so many bugs... now it has shower of adds, fantastic!!! The app shows more ads than news. In every news page at least 8 ads will be there. Additionally a pop up ad comes after every 3 news. So in total for every 3 news there will be 25 ads (3 x 8 + 1), that give a news to ad ratio 3:25. But Pls don’t tell Manorama is greedy for this much low news to ad ratio. They have a plan to make news to ad ratio at least 1:1000.
Tired of playing PUBG? There is a real life game in this app. “The app sends lots and lots of zombie notification that eat your phone’s battery. You have to clear them to save your phone”. I know it is much tougher than PUBG. But you have to play it if you have installed this app in your phone and you want to save it from battery eating zombie notifications.

There is no restrictions in the comment session even though they say they are monitored and filtered. People are using there ugliest versions of language. Some are terrorism encouraging types. Some are hate speaks about religions and community. Hope Manorama team will take this seriously. There are a lot of fake IDs, especially someone called “Unni Kali”.
