They harvest tons of data from users. Keep asking for vibes etc to harvest more and more . Your chats are not secure ( even humans reading it not just algorithms). Hell lots of fake profiles, even half of them don’t have a human pic specially in India. Tinder doesn’t wanna control it( probably coz they r the ones doing it)! Tinder even bans Platinum members ( highest category subscription) for no reason and without specifying reason at all! Support is of no help!This app doesn’t deserve our money at all. This organisation runs many more such apps which has created close to monopoly in many regions. It’s high time we pick other app out of control of these data predators .

1. Far too many bugs. Matches and chats have gone missing and then reappeared after weeks.
2. Media of matches barely load.
3. Poor settings and filters. The app just decides to show you people 35 kms away when your range is upto 15kms.
4. Random Spotify songs shown on profile despite disabling Spotify account.
5. Very very few verified profiles and plenty of fake accounts. Making it a very unsafe platform.

There is no match even if you take subscriptions and even if you match still there is no reply from the other side. I wonder this app only has inactive profiles or bots or it either works if both people have subscriptions. Still i have used both Gold and platinum. And honestly gold was the worst and in case of platinum. You still get matched but they are bots as even after match there is no response from the other side.

After a long time of my breakup I thought to have a dating app on my phone and my friend highly recommended of this application which I was not that aware of!
I installed it and updated my profile with everything that a genuine user would do!I verified it as well
Initially I got limited likes but then I read about the features of golden and platinum membership. Having blind trust on to this app ,I have upgraded the premium subscription that amounts to ₹999.
Only 20 days I have used this subscription and then my account is banned reflecting the message that I have broken the terms and conditions of Tinder which is very much disappointing because if a user is using it in a decent way then why the hell you have banned my account!
I want to know the reason of why my account got banned because if your have done this unnecessarily I will never recommend any of my friend to use this fake app!
I want the resolution to this asap

I’ve been using tinder from quite a long time but since a few months I am getting an issue with the working of the app. I get notifications about the matches and messages I receive, but when I open the app it doesn’t show any matches/messages. My messages get delivered though but in order to read the messages I receive or new matches, I have to logout and login again. It’s really frustrating to logout and re-login everytime to see a message. Tried re-installing the app several times but the issue still persists.

The best dating app to connect and meet interesting women outside your social circles. I think Tinder is doing a fabulous job compared to other dating apps I’ve used so far.
Only concern is that the match times are too long. I don’t get to match with a woman I liked very much just because both have to swipe right on each other.

This is my story from 2020, when I was so sick of lockdown. Since I’m from small town very few uses tinder around. So I purchased gold membership and used to change location to get matches from all over India. There this girl came into my life and everything has changed before I notice. Writing this review from a densely populated metropolitan city in India. I have subscribed to tinder platinum for the third month and here is a list of issues that I have been facing:
1- Tinder frequently sends me a notification mentioned ‘someone likes you’ but when I open the app, there seems no likes. Initially I thought the person who liked my profile might have unliked but this cannot happen 15-20 times everyday straight for over 2 months now. This is certainly a ridiculous marketing gimmick to make users open the app repeatedly.
2- Most of the matches seems fake. Tinder do gives you matches when (only when) you are a paid subscriber but most of these matches usually have generic pictures and they never responds.
3- As soon as you activate boost (a paid feature which makes your profile 10x visible for next 30 mins, as claimed by tinder), you stop seeing matches around you and the app notifies that there is no one around you. It hardly shows you any profiles till the time boost is activated.
Conclusion: Moving to bumble. I wish I could have given zero rating.

I have been using this application from quite some time and never had an issue like this before but now what is happening is that when i am sending the messages to the other end its getting delivered I mean being sent however When someone is replying to me or texting I can see from the notification bar that I have got an message but when I open the tinder it doesn’t load or i dont receive the message, the internet is not an issue in this scenario because its very fast and good, this has happened before as well so I had deleted the app being frustrated and then re downloaded post it worked good for sometime but again same issue, there is no issue with phone as well I guess its an Iphone 11
How inconvenient it is and quite well very frustrating
Trying to use but I guess tinder team is not working that hard to solve the issue

It’s a decent app however after matching I have noticed some times there is no interaction between matches probably due to distance or something else.
It would be good to have a seperate page where all the matches will populate and sorted by distance from you so that people who travel a lot can know who they are around as having hundreds of matches and not knowing who is near is pointless…
Also stories so u can see stories of your matches to increase interaction etc

When I open it, it asked for allow location. I allowed it but it keep rolling. I later tried to turn on its location in my privacy location. But their was no any kind of restrictions their. I open tinder in settings. I didn’t see any location usage option their. I have on the background refresh but I didn’t find any location options their. I’m pretty much new to this app and luckily I did get a like within 48hrs, turn out the match I got a like from is 6km from my current location, when we started texting each other I got to know that she lives in Hongkong!! I know! Even I was shocked and what’s more funny is it still shows 6km from my current location 🤣 .
Please check this out Team Tinder! Not only this profile there are few more out there with this glitch. I hoping it’s just a glitch and nothing more devious 😅

Tinder is doing all the dark things and for that one reason I won’t probably ever use tinder again.
I brought tinder gold and ever since that the application keeps sending me fake notifications saying that someone likes me, and when i open the app it shows nothing.
Even further when i match with someone most of the times the matches turn out to be fake, meaning tinder matches you with some random profile and your messages don’t even reach your match in that case. This clearly means this application is a scam and tinder is using very dark ways to fool it’s users , even the users who are paying them for gold. I got gold only for a month (thank god) i will ge sure not to waste even a penny on this wasted scandalous application ever again.

These freemium apps are only to pickpocket users whether they’re men or women. You’ll get likes, but those profiles will be at far end of the queue. Tinder will continuously push in app prompts to buy Gold version which in my opinion is very expensive. Buying gold will get those profiles (who have liked you) very closer and boom, you’re matched. You’ll get addicted.
Free version of this app is useless. You have got thousands of few profiles to swipe up, but the number of right swipes is extremely limited. Limited like hell. At wait time is ridiculously 12 hours.
Totally fake app to lure users.

I have been using tinder for last 5 years and recently i shifted from Mumbai to Udaipur and once I reached Udaipur and opened tinder i get a message that my account has been banned, i don’t understand why? Like i was using it 14hrs back while in Mumbai and the moment I opened it in Udaipur i am banned, that’s so funny, tinder do you hate city of lakes or what?
Anyway i have switched to bumble which is more convenient and better and has extra features compared to tinder

Tinder is getting expensive day by day. There are other apps which are cheaper and better. There’s nothing new to tinder now and other applications are coming with new ideas.
There are lot of fake profiles around on tinder and lot of inappropriate profiles too.
Tinder should allow only verified profiles with original photos of the user. Tinder should also add feature of filters like what people are interested in ? Like a relationship or marriage or casual dating like that. And being so expensive tinder offers superboost only once a month whereas other applications are giving it weekly. My reason for switching other applications is being expensive and more fake profiles around plus no filters.

Every time I surf through the profiles while listening to music, an add pops out every 5-6 profiles and it stops the music. It’s so annoying to resume the music everytime just within 1-2 minutes. Tinder team should look into this issue cause this is a world famous dating app. I would have given no stars if it was possible. Another problem is that the app crashes after viewing 25-30 profiles. It’s annoying too to restart the app everytime. My storage is not full and my phone’s performing well so this is an issue with the app. Hope these gets fixed. Thank You!

Using tinder past 3 years with verified account and paid subscription but it has never worked. Used tinder in all possible metro cities like Bangalore, Pune and Goa... but it is waste.
Being 25 and having decent profile, exceptionally good looking...adventurous ...caring......also trying various alternatives but tinder won’t make difference.
I have swiped almost everyday even used boost but it never gave any results to me.
Tried being formal, casual, looked for relationship, hook up, friendship...Nothing worked. Also found some fake accounts in my area, Never go for paid subscription it is waste of money and time and most accounts are fake there's no safety with privacy. Hope I get somthing good soon on tinder ...

Extremely buggy and slow, Most conversations are not loaded at all, I can Only view them through the web app on my PC. many messages can only be seen on WEB APP and not the ios platform. Usage experience on iOS atleast is Xtremely laggy, I dannot even type without the app crashing or The app responding after a minute. this isn’t a very unique Problem however, Many of the people i met on tinder, also face same issues. i hope the developer fixes it soon.

I don’t know why tinder is not working properly in ios. Whenever I type, It gets freezes for few seconds then automatically writes all at once, bad UX and have seen so many UI lags this makes my experience worst.
If I want to click switch the tabs, again it gets freezed, and while liking any profile, It’s freezed.
Tinder should have fix these lags atleast. It’s very annoying that I barely can write and communicate with people. Sometimes If I type and send the message, It doesn’t even show the text after going back and click on that screen.

The business model seems to have greed for money in the centre, not matching. Super like, boost, gold and that not for. A month or two but you r forced to buy minimum for six month, otherwise you can’t chat who liked you. What could be more greedy way to make money. Lastly, you have to pay in Dollar at the
bank rate in Lebanon and this rate is eight times expensive if you buy dollar Lebanese pounds from the open market. So. It costs you more than 100 dollars to upgrade to gold..... and thatbis for what! ? Huh

On 27th Mar’21, I subscribed to Tinder Plus for 749. On 31st Mar’21, I upgraded to Tinder Gold. I should have been charged only 350 Rs. additional whereas I was charged the complete amount of 1099 Rs. for the upgradation. Basis your guide on the app, I registered a refund with apple for the balance refund.
Now today I get a mail for credit note of refund of 652 Rs., which has not been credited yet to my account. Now my Tinder Gold is deactivated and I am back to Tinder Plus.
I want a simple solution to this, your guide is not helpful. Refund should have been of 749 and Tinder Gold activated.
I wasn’t hoping for things to be this cumbersome.

Most of the women on tinder are here just to increase their Instagram followers. I request all the men to be careful about the profiles where the women reveal their Instagram handles in their bio. It’s just there so that they can fish followers as well as most of the women have copy pasted bio of other users which kind of becomes an annoying experience in finding a genuine person with whom I can get matched. Last but not least , as a tinder gold user who has a subscription of 6 months i kindly request the Team Tinder to take strict actions against reported accounts which are marked as fake. Even after reporting them they pop up in my new browser of matches and please don’t tell me to email the issue. I don’t have much time to address my issue on an email. Peace.

I have tried reinstalling it but again I am getting notifications but when I open the app there were no update as such and it showing oldessages only plus old matches are gone. 5 years later I am back to write a review. Thankfully you blocked me during lockdown for violating terms (🤷‍♂️)so I procured new contact details. As your support team doesn’t want to write emails they just want to copy paste.
The app had minor glitches up until now. I posted a screenshot of my profile and for some reason it violated usage policy? Why is my profile a sham? The screenshot was put up with hopes that people will eventually see it and then swipe right.
Also the messages tab hangs crazily and keep blinking ( all messaged keep refreshing, the order of display keeps changing and then it hangs)

It's worked fine till Sep 2015. Post that not even a single person has been found on my radar. I wrote to the technical team last week they suggested the basic stuff that I had tried couple of times. Reviewing this app with hope that app might work after this ✌🏻️

Tinder might be adverting for inclusion and whatnot, but you must realise that Tinder DOES NOT offer a forum or appeal to effectively contact in case of account suspension or ban. Tinder will block you for good if you’re not agreeable to other people, for the lamest things ever, not to mention, highly INAPPROPRIATE. If a number of people have objections with what you’re wearing in your pics, or EVEN IF YOU’RE A TRANSWOMAN, swiping men, tinder will ban you because a number of Men have reported your profile because they happen to be homophobic, without providing a chance for appeal. Moreover Tinder is collecting a lot of personal data and also recognising faces which actually drives me to not be confident enough to renew my subscription or be on the app outright. There is no image moderation like on bumble or warming, so tinder will ban you if the image you post might ‘offend’ people, instead of approving of images themselves to avoid objection later. If a bunch of people find you uninteresting, or if you’re showing off your fitness even, and they decide to report you, tinder will ban you. I am sorry but Tinder’s policy of not
providing for appeals is just lazy on a management/ process level and very upsetting!

So, the funny thing is, I try resetting my tinder every month or so(no likes lol), so out of the blue, I get banned for no reason( My bio said women on here are only advertising their Instagram, that’s because they are. They tell you to text them on Instagram, get a Follower and boom, it’s a proper trap). I don’t see any women getting banned to do things like that, I myself have reported multiple people and when I reset the App they‘re still there.
And I frankly don’t understand your ban, Id write a Mail but no one would know. I’m very disappointed with your service, please review the account again and send me an apology😃.

I love using Tinder , it’s best app but it freezes a lot lot! I’ve tried all things like log on log off to delete , reinstall but yet it’s freezing a lot and it’s way too slow !
I always update app regularly and yet I’m having this issue!
It’s super slow and annoying now. It kills the vibe of chatting!

I’ve been using tinder and it’s pretty nice. The end-to-end experience is great. But a minor suggestion on a particular area that can be improved.
While searching the location, the current flow is, once I switched/searched a new location, I have to go back by clicking on the back button to see the results. Instead of that, it would be better and helpful if you can add a CTA (or an access point) where I can just click on it “View results “ or “See people “ and it should take me to the swiping page.
You can ignore if you removed the CTA (The button or an access point) intentionally to discourage the activity of switching the location.

Tinder is no doubt the no. 1 dating app on the App Store. But the thing is that it freezes way too much and it has increased.
It freezes on every screen for unknown reason. Say I’m chatting and it’ll freeze while I type. And suddenly it’ll rapidly take all the input at once. When sent, the message sometimes takes ages to display and again its frozen.
The likes listing page freezes while it loads the list. Do you do all your background tasks on main thread? Or you force sleep the thread?
Sometimes the buttons at the top to navigate from page to page doesn’t work. I have to kill and relaunch the app. And seriously, none of the buttons work properly.
Tinder, please fix these lags. These are annoying and very bad UX.

I’ll Put a Honest Review of Tinder .
Tinder is the most popular dating app because of its advertising , rather than the app itself . It is you can say , most known to people .
The problem with the app is there are 90-95% men on this app , i might be exaggerating but what I mean to say is that , the number of men far outweigh the number of women . Infact , literally if a girl chooses to date only medicos , iim, iitians , foreign university stuff , it is possible that all the girls will be occupied .
All the men who want to date seem to be on the app , but on the contrary , 80% women on this app are those who won’t get anyone by themselves . I am not stereotyping anyone , but what i mean to say is the app contains very less women , for whom the men have downloaded Tinder . The conclusion is ‘Girls in the dating scene are definitely not here , but all the Men are ‘.
And this is the problem with small cities , I don’t know about big ones .
And Tinder should address the problem , and work on it , because men are here for matches , not for seeing photographs .
