Why do i must accept and get registered, and get a call from agent,, just to look at plans ??
App is literally forcing to register intrest even to look at broadband plans, i dont want to get bothered by annoying calls,, if you give access to the plan vouchers you provide,, then if any plan interests me,, then i might register as interested,, then agents might call,, i dont want to hear all those plan details from agent,, i can chose the plan right ?

Worst service experience

I am using airtel postpaid past 2 years. I think prepaid is better since you can move on easily. They won’t care postpaid customers since there are already tied to some plans. My Dth request has not been closed since 2 days and Jio used to solve in 2 hours. Worst experience ever. Will move on to Jio soon

Not a Good UX at all!

I wanted to remove add ons from my postpaid plan and guess what, there is no option for it! This is a cool scam through app. Like if a customer adds data for once then keep adding it on for every bill after the month and dont even let him remove the data add ons! Bill issue

I have been billed twice for the month of March.
Reached out to (4 customer care executives + 2 supervisors), all said the same that my issue will be resolved still nothing is happened.
Really shameful, I would recommend people to go ahead with other service providers as Airtel is losing accountability and credibility.
I have lost my hard earned money + my precious time + my sanity trying to get something back that’s mine.
I never thought Airtel would stoop down to this level of ignorance.
Disappointed - unhappy - broken trust.

Worst customer support ever

No internet for more than a week. This is beyond unacceptable. How many requests am i supposed to keep raising for the same issue? Every-time agent gets assigned and auto closes it without fixing the issue. This level pf negligence and poor customer support is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Worst fixed line service

Worst experience for broadband connection shifting. Engineer doesn’t show up at appointment time and keeps postponing for the next day.
Airtel acts like they are doing me a favour to connect wifi after shifting. Even after Multiple follow ups. No one bothered to have the connection installed. Just know how bill the customer.

They just want to take money for installation once done their service is pathetic and slow - No one takes responsibility or accountability for installation. In my area Pankaj Patel took my money for installation and then they did not even picked my call for the same. Bad experience and Worst service

For WiFi connections they came within 2 hours for installation, and after a month i got Internet connection issue, they dont even given response, only they raise complaint and and the next day it shows issue has been resolved. Such a bad service and their engineers didn’t showed up for faulty connection. Don’t waste time on taking Airtel’s service. They just making fake promises. I am suffering from their connection.

Wi-Fi installation service

Initially I was of the view that Airtel is the best connection out there but only when I got it for myself, I realised that it was not working as expected. The engineers would never come at the appointed time. When I call at the number provided, the engineer would say that I am not the one assigned for your case and someone else will visit. And that someone else will not visit for a week or two. When we try to get the connection removed, someone from retention team calls and gives offers to retain the customer. But all that is of no use because your foundational issue is never resolved, l.e a proper Internet connection. Sometimes an automatic ticket gets created in the account when there is a common issue going on around and it keeps sitting in the queue for many days and doesn't allow to create a new request which in turn leads to not using the internet for many many days. Then the tickets gets closed without a resolution after several days and then we need to create a new request. It's a vicious and never ending cycle. I have hardly used Airtel internet this year but duly paid all my bills in timely manner. And retention team just gives an offer of some Rs 400 off which doesn't justify no connection for half of the year. My only request to Airtel is that please live up to your promises and brand name. Even the local Broadbrand services with no branding at all is giving better service then why would someone go for a brand name. Customers only need a good connectivity and consistent service.

I’m not giving you one star because you deserve it, but only because I’m not allowed to give zero stars. I took a broadband connection on 3rd October, and within 24 hours the network stopped working completely. I reported the issue on 4th October, and your team informed me that it would be resolved the same evening. However, no one attended the issue. After two days, I raised the complaint again, but I received only false assurances and no technician visited. Even after one week, when the service was still not working, I sent an email requesting disconnection. I was informed that a technician would come on 14th October to collect the modem, but no one came. Later, customer care told me that the modem would be collected on 22nd October, but again no one visited. Till now, the modem is still lying at my home. I have contacted your support team several times, but there is zero response. I had paid 5 months’ advance amount, and despite repeated follow-ups, my refund has not been processed. This is extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I have never experienced such a poor service from any company.

WORST service - Airtel Black Scam!

Worst way to treat a loyal customer. For Airtel, loyalty means nothing. And Airtel black is a well marketed scam to loot customers and mark them as low priority so that Airtel can focus on new customers. Poor management and poor customer service. Even these local service providers have better customer support.
I have raised a request for wifi shifting. Its been 4 days and no resolution. Even the Engineer is not assigned yet. Resolution time set by Airtel is also passed now. No progress. When i tried applying for a new WiFi connection the local team called me and told me that they can install a new connection today itself. But for shifting a connection i need to call customer care and beg for a resolution. Is thats how loyalty is paid back in Airtel. Shame. I am being charged every day for that connection that is not even active for me. How is that fair. I guess, Airtel is now all about unfair practices and poor management. Worst experience. Poor service and unreliable wifi.

have been facing unstable internet issues with Airtel WiFi for the past 5 days, and despite making repeated calls, my problem has not been resolved. I even had to go to my neighbour’s house to work ,ironically, they also use Airtel, but unlike me, their connection is stable. Clearly, I’m just the unlucky one stuck with poor service.
I was told it could be a router issue, yet after multiple followups, nothing has been done. If you work from home, please consider my experience before trusting this pathetic service. I have already decided not to pay the next bill ,I know Airtel will flood me with calls the moment payment is due, because apparently, I’m only a “valued customer” when money is involved. If I have paid in advance, Airtel has no problem ignoring my concerns.
No wonder Airtel has lost so much of the market to Jio. Airtel conveniently blames “weather conditions,” but I have personally used Jio WiFi in Uttarakhand during a cloudburst ,it worked fine. Meanwhile, just half an hour of rain is enough to mess up Airtel WiFi.

Worst customer service

For a decade I have been using Airtel now, I have added on add on pack on my Airtel mobile number , it’ shows that it’s been recharged but it isn’t working, I tired to contact via customer care 24/7 and it’s literally AI generated, not a real person helping , an AI with recorded scripts which is constantly repeating the same thing over and over again and again, this is so annoying .
Not expected this from Airtel, also last year during this time, my Airtel sim suddenly got out of service, like what was even happening, I went to a nearby local store , to fix it, and I came to know , they are doing this to plenty of people near my house, and they claim Airtel to be, BEST NETWORK PROVIDER IN INDIA??? The service is so frustrating, also , I was applying for WiFi connection, people next to my house has it, the connection is visible on my phone, showing Airtel WiFi , but when I want to apply for my home, it shows , not available?? Like what is this behaviour Airtel? The person living next to my home has it, but when I try , it says not available in my area? This is so frustrating and annoying at the same time.

Worst service to a customer.

I have an Airtel Black subscription at my place. From the moment I have subscribed to their wifi services, it has been a total disaster. Every week the wifi is out of service for at-least 3-4 days and you don’t have any support from their team. The time to resolve a complaint is 24 hours according to their privacy, but on actual ground report this never happens. Their service or technical team does the work according to their time. Usually they take minimum 4 days to resolve the complaint.
I mean how can someone be this unprofessional. My neighbours also have the same model installed at their homes, but not everyone has or knows the options to reach out to them. I mean an old couple or an older person doesn’t know how to reach out if they are facing a issue and just sits back and wait for them to solve it. I have raised a complaint two days back, not even once a technician has come to my place to check what the problem is, now they have moved the resolution timing two days ahead as tomorrow is sunday.
Nearly 50-60 customers alone in my area are facing the same issue. Their customer care agent says that your problem will be resolved by tomorrow or EOD, but when we ask them the next time they will say the same thing again, when you will say that last time you said the same thing how come this time it will be resolved and ask for surety they will say we can’t do anything. I mean that is how they treat a customer.
I tried reaching to the highest level in their management through customer care but not even one person was able to provide me the solution.

Pathetic and shameless customer support

The only reason I chose Airtel over Jio is the Airtel Black plan and their campaign around this plan that they would provide fast customer support service for the Airtel black customers. But god save us from the Airtel customer support! I have been talking to Airtel customer support through phone calls and e-mail overs last month to fix a billing issue (which was a mistake from their side) but I am neither getting a resolution nor are they providing me a complaint reference number which I could use in follow up calls. So, each time I have to explain my issue all over again. I have been an old Airtel customer but I am completely frustrated now and want to move to another Jio but apparently, I cannot even port before this billing issue is fixed and Airtel is not willing to fix this. Last time in the long email thread that I had started a couple of weeks back, they have addressed me by some random person’s name and mobile number (I think they have accidentally leaked some other customer’s data). All I get is an automated response that Airtel will look into it but Airtel doesn’t care it seems.

I will port my sim now iam seriously frustrated

I filed a complaint on 16th December because I have a network issue but it will be resolved by 1st January without contacting. On 19th December I closed the complaint and then the network or worse, raised the complaint on 2nd January and said wait till 17th January. How long should I wait, I will have recharge time till 5th January, I am very happy now, I have to port my sim to ask the reason now. Why do you want to port these people and you don't have to talk to customer care when you have to do 5G recharge to run 4G network?
There is still no 5G network in my area, so why did you recharge your 5G and even toll free calls are not cleared? It has turned off 10 times in flight mode, on clicking the tab, the page or video is loaded even after sending your email. thank you so much
Literally I have been an Airtel customer for 5 years and nothing like this has happened till today.
I have not found the solution till 5th January so I ported my SIM to another provider.

Customer service

expecting reliable high-speed internet, but my experience has been far from satisfactory. The installation process was delayed without any proper communication, and when it was finally set up, the connection was inconsistent from the start. Frequent outages and slow speeds have made it impossible to work or stream content effectively.
The worst part has been Airtel's customer service. Every time I tried to report an issue, I was put on hold for extended periods, only to be met with scripted responses that did not address my concerns. Technicians scheduled to visit either didn't show up or failed to fix the problem. Despite multiple follow-ups, there has been no meaningful resolution, and the lack of accountability . extremely disappointing experience with Airtel's customer service. Despite multiple attempts to resolve my issue, I was met with long wait times, unhelpful responses, and no real solutions. My network coverage was terrible, and after filing several complaints, nothing was done to address the problem. Each time I called, I was given generic replies or asked to perform the same troubleshooting steps that I had already tried.

No Support Services for Wifi- not working from last 1 month

I had taken airtel black connection 2 months back, since then i used hardly for 20days as wifi network are getting off again and again.. after making complaints at airtel app, service request generated and told me that engineer will come and resolve the issue.. but after every day followup no one is coming.. waiting from last 10 days.. and at last today i checked airtel app there it is showing that engineer visited my house and corrected the issues and resolved the problem of non- connectivity. I am shocked by seeing this, as In reality no one came to my house and still that issue is there.. this is not the first time, this is happening every time whenever network complaints i am putting, no engineer is coming but on airtel app they are closing the request saying that engineer visited and resolved the issue.. What s worst services they are giving!! i have decided now that i will close Airtel connections.. Worst Experience Ever

Your whole company relying on BOT CHAT support. If customer have to raise a complain, want add onn service or want any new connection - they always have to go for BOT CHAT (fixed template message and fixed replies). My internet is not coming, and I am complaining by interacting your BEST SUPPORT CHAT SYSTEM which is BOT CHAT… and guess what, no replies only scheduling the time of technician but at last showing error that I already raised a complained. And giving me the option of “Track your complain” and guess what showing error screen. In 2024, airtel is working like they are running their company in 2010. Isse sahi to local provider hain, ek din mein sahi to kar dete hai. Iss airtel app ka aur iss company ka kuch smjh hi nhi aa rha h. Koi tarika nahi hai complaint karne ka aur resolve karne ka. Meri company inke bharose chalaunga to bahut jldi band karna pdega apna business. Installation ke time se feel ho raha tha lekin now your service is impacting my business. Installation ke time pe paise leke chale gye 3months ka aue ye bolke ki shaam tak lagg jaega, aur sham ko call kiya to keh rhe hain ki airtel app pe dekh lo kb tk lagega internet aur app pe dikha rha tha 2 days ke baad lagega. Har chiz App pe dekhte raho… App, App, App… pata nhai puri company ko App ke andr daal diya hai jo ki bass bugs aur lagg se bhara hua hai… Soon I will change the provider company from Airtel to ACT.

15 days no internet and no 1 is addressing issue

Offlate from past 4 months services of airtel is drastically pathetic.. they take 15 days to address internet issue and you have to be 15 days without internet on the top they bill you for 30 days.. no use of calling customer care as they reply only predefined responses irrespective of the sensitive issue.. SR are closed automatically without resolving internet services and you have to spend 2 hrs everyday to explain every customer care the whole story.. this will go on.. every day different customer executives will assure you 24 hrs and allot you timings when you call 12 pm sir by 3 pm engineer will be there.. when you call 3pm to check up y no one came.. they will give you 5pm time and it goes on.. at the end 15 days will go up and you will deactivate the connection (infact they will not take ur disconnection request too) finally i decided to take out the box myself and not pay them as they became like goons.. no service .. not accepting customer request, fake promises.. over billing (15 days net nt wrking but 30 days billed) .. even disconnection requests are not addressed.. soon airtel would close i believe if such attitude persists

Worst ever Service by Monica at Patrakarpuram Airtel Store

I had visited patrakarpuram lucknow Store for reKYC of my SIM. Monica at desk no 4 was assigned to resolve my query. But, she didnt even addressed and simply forwarded me to different counter. The new person could not process my reKYC and asked Monica to process, she even without trying of the reKYC, asked me to visit Delhi Airtel Store with reason that since SIM is issued from Delhi, reKYC will be done from Delhi. I kept on insisting them to look for an option, but they were not having any option rather being rude and arrogant. The environment was very rude and no one was there to address positively. Even managers didnt come up for any resolution. So i got a conclusion that, i have to visit delhi from Lucknow to get the same done. Luckily before planning travel to Delhi, i asked one of my friend for advice, he suggested to visit another airtel store. I visited Indira Nagar Munshipulia Store and KYC was done within an hour. You can verify the complete text from the time i got appointment with Monica to resolution at Another store by SIM activation. This is mere carelessness and attitude to take the things casually which hampers others along with brand image . Please note, i am initiating port request too

Add feature

I’ve been using the Airtel app for some time now, and while it offers many useful features, there are a couple of improvements that I would like to suggest. Firstly, I would appreciate the option to turn off notifications related to loans and transactions. As a user, I prefer to only receive notifications for missed calls. It would be great if the app could provide this level of customization for notifications.
Secondly, I believe it would be incredibly convenient if Airtel could integrate a voicemail service within the app. Currently, using the voicemail service involves calling a separate number, listening to voicemails, and then deleting them. This process is quite cumbersome and time-consuming. If Airtel could add a feature where users can manage their voicemails directly within the app, it would greatly enhance the user experience.
I hope the developers at Airtel consider these suggestions, as I believe they would make the Airtel app even more user-friendly and efficient.

This apps soul purpose is to get bills paid

How can i reach your customers care? I mean the actual human? Your chat bot is incredibly frustrating and useless thing i have ever seen so far.
I tried to have a call with customer service as i Dont have internet connection for two days so far on my broadband wifi. The only option i have is to chat with your bot, and it just showed predefined option, and nothing else, at then when i selected “no issue is not resolved “ that bot just replied “well, we tried” are you seriously that careless about the customers who pay you????? , i manually typed in and asked that i want to have a call with customer service executive, it gave me a number, and even that number did not connect me to any human executive instead its just another bot with voice!!! I am completely in dark what’s happening and why Airtel is taking two days to fix the issue. … problem is the outage happened because of some wires got cut, not just airtel other ISP connections went down as well, they fixed everything in 2 hours but Airtel didn’t do anything about it.
Its pretty clear that you guys did not employ proper customer support team, you care till we buy a plan and an existing customer doesn’t mean anything to you guys. THE WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT I HAVE EVER WITNESSED

Brainless Chatbot and horrible service

I wish Airtel would have spent more money in providing better services rather than spending money of meaningless advertisement and promotions. If you can’t give give good services what is the point. The chatbot is waste of time, app is of no use except bill payments and network service, well that is even worst. I have been raising network issue complaints for the past 6 months. Every time, without calling or discussing with me or any resolution given, the query is closed. Bill charges are exorbitant and there are stupid customer care people sitting off the line who verbally assure u resolution but it hardly ever done. I wish I could give rating in minus. Will port my number soon. Airtel is pathetic
Now wish to add more. They are not network provider but extortion company. Once you buy their services you become the victim of torture by them. No service and they charge you for the services which they are not able to offer. Their faults they never accept and then threaten you by stopping all services and you have no option. Unable to access the services after recharged

I’m using Airtel since 2010, this time my sister recharged me ₹179 (validity will over in 8th January 2024)few days before but the data was insufficient for me to access as there’s only 2Gb/pack that’s why I’ve recharged ₹118 that also over very fast may be because of this stupid IPhone and again recharged ₹65 as my current mobile phone was finish up more than 2G per day so I felt to recharge a new proper pack and today I have recharge for ₹399 3Gb/day validity 28 days (so fool of me!) and validity extended till 22nd January 2024 but! unfortunately at finally I’M UNABLE TO ACCESS . I have raised my query/complaint by dialing 121 saying it’ll get resolve by 12 January 2024 but what!!!! No use of it! because the validity will be over by 22nd January 2024 means I can used/enjoy the services for only 10 days is NO USE at all. But my friends told me that in JIO(services) they provide an option to choose the prefer plan for eg. either ₹179 plan or ₹399 plan in same time according to the customer whenever if the customer also recharged twice times within the other validity is not over yet also. So I hope my ₹399 recharge on 26 December 2023 should allow to use by today onwards as I’m your old and loving customer and to Celebrate the NEW YEAR 2024 happily with friends ans family,please respond my request and solve this problem ASAP as I’m one of your Oldest Customer since 2010 my first SIM Card. Make your customer feel proud of using this apps!

World’s Most Pathetic App!!!

It’s been more than 3 years and this app is heats up my iPhone like crazy within 2 secs of usage and the battery level stops dropping by 1% every second of usage!!!!! There is a serious design flaw in the app and I have raised this issue with Airtel several times and it’s a waste of my breath and time as no one bothers at Airtel to look into it!!! Also, there used to be useful features earlier like being able to quickly check the internet status and auto log service tickets from the chat help within the app - Airtel seems to have restricted that now for good and after asking a bunch of questions the chat bot asks the user to call customer care to log the complaint!!! Is this a joke Airtel?? Fix the app or take it down from the App Store for good if you don’t know how to build one!! It’s so ridiculous that you keep releasing so many frequent updates to the app but have not been able to fix this heating issue!!! Not just the heating problem, your app has always been a power hungry one which literally kills the battery and it’s not even something like a game with high end graphics or anything like that, this is by far, hands down the worst app in terms of the load it has on the phone and it’s power inefficiency!!!

App has a Frustratingly disappointing customer care UX

After using the app for quite some time, I can only say that the customer care, help and support centre menus, interaction with a really atrocious chat bot (why create one when any issues are said to be customer’s fault? Net issue: oh it’s your browser cache and device fault please fix your system first. Anything I can help you with? And then it goes back to the scripted queries)… are all designed to make it more difficult for customer to reach out for help.
All the the service tickets created that date one year back are all left “in progress”. Which can mean maybe customer care does not really care… or the service ticket system is a dump site for Airtel where concerns and complaints are all left to be ignored, or maybe the system is not designed in a way where customer support team will get notified of complaint ticket backlog.
If Airtel still cares about customer satisfaction, I hope this is taken as a priority in their product backlog user stories where customer care is provided with seamless communication and actual transparency.

Worst and delayed customer service

I had taken a broadband connection in chennai for which i paid 3 months advance on 26 april 2023. I used the connection for 2 days after which the moden started showing red light with no internet access. I raised a complaint on 2nd may 2023, and each day after that I had to waste my time calling customer care thrice daily since they are not sending anyone to resolve the problem. Hence I could not access internet for 5 days, until I gave them an ultimatum to fix the connection or provide me refund. Finally, they sent a person to resolve the problem on 06 May 2023. They told each day that they are escalating the problem on high priority basis, and they will resolve in 24 hours but finally it took 6 days to get the problem resolved. They send bills promptly and we have to pay without delay. But considering service, they can delay all they want and you will not get the service for the money you pay. In this case, I got 6 days of zero internet despite paying the full amount of 3 months in advance. Pathetic service that is almost like cheating customers.

Disappointing app, disappointing service

First things first; this app is terrible! It is useful only to view existing details related to your account. But rest of the features keep crashing most of the times. Live chat has never worked for me. And for anything that you may try to connect with an executive, a service request keeps getting generated. Now, coming to the after sales service, be mindful of what to believe coming from their sales team. I have unfortunately opted for their Fiber service and I haven’t seen anything as unstable as it’s connectivity. The speed is hardly consistent and their router isn’t able to cover a 1BHK even when it has been installed in an approximate centre. They will recommend using LAN, but will ask you to pay an additional amount for a simple clipping job. Their need to close the opens requests irrespective of the resolution provided is uncanny! For a company that has elaborate advertisements boasting their service, I have found my experience quite the opposite.

Waste of time

I spoke with manager Aman mishra (Delhi NCR). calling since last 3 days about wifi not working. But they don’t have any answer. Spoke with manager Aman., very unprofessional, irresponsible, lacks everything, was trying his best to disconnect the call by saying I can’t hear you. Refused to say sorry because of his ego. He said we are not supposed to talk to customers. I asked how are you going to fix this issue and improve this problem. Replied while yawning that other team is working on it since last 3 days. I asked for an upper manager, he said he is on the top 🤣 with no solutions and big ego.
Threatened me to be professional otherwise he will disconnect.
At the end the solution he gave me is it will take 2 more days and then we will update you again. They are not planning to fix it in 2 days, just an update. Asked for refund , he said there is nothing left on your account.
Airtel is just a big name with dumb managers like Aman yawing all day with 0 skills. I asked him what is customer service and how are you working on it? He replied I am not here to give an interview. 🤣 what a piece of trash, who doesn’t know basic customer service skills.

Very disappointed!

Initially I was of the view that Airtel is the best connection out there but only when I got it for myself, I realised that it was not working as expected. The engineers would never come at the appointed time. When I call at the number provided, the engineer would say that I am not the one assigned for your case and someone else will visit. And that someone else will not visit for a week or two. When we try to get the connection removed, someone from retention team calls and gives offers to retain the customer. But all that is of no use because your foundational issue is never resolved, I.e a proper Internet connection. Sometimes an automatic ticket gets created in the account when there is a common issue going on around and it keeps sitting in the queue for many days and doesn’t allow to create a new request which in turn leads to not using the internet for many many days. Then the tickets gets closed without a resolution after several days and then we need to create a new request. It’s a vicious and never ending cycle. I have hardly used Airtel internet this year but duly paid all my bills in timely manner. And retention team just gives an offer of some Rs 400 off which doesn’t justify no connection for half of the year. My only request to Airtel is that please live up to your promises and brand name. Even the local Broadbrand services with no branding at all is giving better service then why would someone go for a brand name. Customers only need a good connectivity and consistent service.

Pointless app & terrible service - can’t resolve issues / can’t connect to customer care

Airtel thanks, more like Airtel Thankless!! What’s the point of a customer info and care app if it can’t effectively resolve issues or provides a direct way to reach out to customer grievance redressal systems. Been more than a month since I raised a complaint about not being able to access internet services + patchy voice call network on my postpaid connection. The resolution time was supposed to be a week but more than a month later it’s still in progress with no updates!! 2 weeks in, I decided to port my number out since I hadn’t heard from Airtel, but even that has become a terrible pain point. I’m part of a family plan so they want me to deconsolidate my number first — 10 days since I raised a request for this at an Airtel store and their systems are still down they say and so they are helpless. Can you believe this!! I of course can’t let go of a number I’ve had for years but I’ve had zero to horrible internet and voice services for more than a month and Airtel is unable to resolve the issue + isn’t allowing me to port my number out to another network. This is my last attempt at reaching out. The next obvious step is taking them to customer court.

Very Poor network

Have been facing the network issues since more than a year and even after raising constant complaints, still not being resolved. For the past two months, the network is really really poor. Having only one signal always as well most of the times it shows no service. Calls are getting dropped abruptly, can’t hear the other person even though the line is connected, unable to make or receive calls, losing lot of calls due to poor network, when somebody calls me, they hear the ring tone but my phone doesn’t ring, even though I am in a coverage area, those who call me are getting msgs like, number is switched off, speaking to somebody else, out of coverage area etc.
Mobile Data is also having very low network coverage and doesn’t work properly at all. Am on ONE Airtel plan paying Rs. 1999 plus tax monthly. Why should we pay so much when the mobile and data doesn’t work properly? Unable to work properly as the mobile as well data doesn’t work properly at all. Please take necessary action to resolve at the earliest.

Pathetic network service

I m a loyal Airtel customer from last almost 12 years , but from last 1 year Airtel has gone too low in their service and network … I leave in Faridabad my whole family having Airtel connection but our phone always shows low network , very poor internet service like we are using 2G , or I could say before 1 decade when there was only 2G that was also faster then this so called 4G network of this time , in your advertisement you show a person in mountains like Everest also enjoying the Airtel services without any problem but in reality , my phone shows no service when I go to my ground floor … I have my office in gurgaon in dlf phase 4 area …. You can’t go to the basement with your phone because it will go no service … and the best part is if you go to the Airtel store to complaint about this network issue they rudely says we can’t make it … “ye thik Ho Hi nahi sakta baki network bhi nahi aate utne me to …”… and they are representing brand Airtel … I just looking for the other option …. Bcoz it’s unbearable now …. Sorry but Airtel now have pathetic and poorest network service …. And giving 1 star in rating bcoz couldn’t find the no star option

Biggest mistake

Biggest Mistake I have done is that I have port my from Jio to Airtel. This type Worst network I never seen in my life. Even BSNL is better than airtel. Airtel is getting 3 network point, speed is like 800kbps. Jio is getting 2 network point, speed is like 40Mbps. Airtel don’t make a joke, why you guys introducing 5G, why don’t you improve your current 4G? So many email, so many phone calls, still problems was not solved. May be after 3 months I will port out to Jio or BSNL. Your TV ad, and other claims about your network is fake, you guys fooling our innocent Indian citizens. Is there any option for 0 rate or - rate. My plan is 1.5 data every day, but after 500 or 750mb use you guys sending sms recharge again, and current internet plan not able to use, buffer, lag, etc. why you guys slow down the internet after some uses? Do business, please don’t do politics. I Never even face any problems in jio, i port out from jio because I wanted to see how your service is. Improve your network or else our people will throw you out.

Job nicely done

To start with this App is not much user friendly n simple, but as days goes getting to know more options I was able to use it for all my Sevices on postpaid, prepaid, DTH and broadband. I find it very useful from knowing usage, balance, payments, history, service requests , plans , bills etc. and waiting on customer care calls. I am not boasting nor I am benefiting for this review, i find it genuinely useful compared to all other modes specifically when I travel.
But you need a bit patience with this app to know it better and use it effectively.
A downside for me is, sometimes when there are interruptions in Airtel services in my area, both my mobile and broadband won’t work until Airtel resolves it. I will not have Internet connection till then and will be unable to work from home. Airtel may consider segregating mobile data and broadband data systems for better handling.

From the time of touch tel I am allied with your concern I have all Airtel only broadband tv mobile but Airtel really wants to excel and the employees have also to benefit ”You have to EXCEL in your services and keep at least 80 p.c of the customers satisfied giving no excuse at all. Those who are not willing and not happy must find an alternative direct or passive income. My humble request is make someone respectably sincerely directly answer instead. Of speaking to the monotonous machine singing and with a sweet voice. We are Indians no matter how the world advances father would like to see and speak with the son. I do not know whether it’s the same case too with our dear Managing Director if he carries any love and affection for his customers who support him for more than 25 years. No matter who offers even FREE we will not budge for we belong to the older generation ,we are not interested to change our life partners until death depart.

Billing issues.(not solved)

If u guys are thinking to take an airtel connection don’t take it. If u have any problem they will not do anything.
I am airtel customer and i talked to the customer care for the billing issue they told me I can’t do anything wait for the response from airtel and it’s been nearly a a month I haven’t received a single call from airtel.
My issue:- I want to turn on my safe mode during the lockdown because no one was there in my flat. I tried to contact they haven’t received a single call after that i mailed them nearly 5 times but they haven’t responded a single mail of mine. After lockdown i received a call and i told them my problem they told no need to pay we will compensate the amount as u r not using our service. After this i talked to customer care as i want to activate the service and they said u have to pay the outstanding amount I can’t do anything. I told them that u guys called me and that time u told that we will compensate and now u r saying u have to pay I can’t help. THIS TYPE OF SERVICE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Worst service

Illegal withholding of data and misinformation

This is dismaying to notice that the service provider company is cheating me by curtailing my data limit which is 3 GB/ day. Today as I am a practising advocate was doing some legal work after connecting my desktop through hotspot to open the Supreme Court website. Barely after 20 minutes an auto generate message flashed on the mobile screen that I have consumed my 50 % data limit and then within few more minutes another message came saying that 90% of my data has been exhausted. Thereafter whole day I struggled with Internet and most disgusting part is that there is no help line number where I can explain my grievances and only automated numbers with fix language was available. I due to Covid work from home and does my matters in court through vide conferencing mode from my 3GB data but now I fear that in the midst of hearing similar messages can be surface and I shall have to struggle with net pack issue.
Prior to opting for 3GB / day data pack option I use to opt 2 GB data pack which has never been exhausted even after continuous VC hearing for hour. But not within 20-30 minutes notorious messages are surfacing and the hi speed gets terminated.
I want proper enquiry into this mischief and also need some helpline number where I can place my grievances orally one to one.

Totally awful network coverage and complacent customer service

I would have rated it at zero rating if it was possible, but I’ll leave it at one for now. First of all, I kept receiving messages nearly daily that I should upgrade my 3G SIM card to 4G, while it was ABSOLUTELY NOT NECESSARY. And when I finally did that after getting tired of it, I received worse speed. Literally no improvement. Ever since this year started, the network has been straight awful. I was about to contact the customer service around January end, but then I received a message that the poor network coverage is because of weather. Fast forward in May, and my indoor coverage became worse than 2G. I contacted the customer care after getting tired of your below standard network coverage. I was told that it will take 4 weeks. So I waited. And it became slightly better for a week. But after that it worsened again. So much that I had to call them again and they assured me that it will get better after 16th September. Nothing happened. All I was given was false hope. And NO ACTION at all. This is tiring. I’m tired of calling your pathetic customer service every night. The only reason I’m not changing my operator is because I’ve been using it for the last 7 years, but if I don’t change it then my entire work schedule will be affected. I’m not writing this to whine about my experience. I’m writing it so that others can see what kind of services you actually offer, even to your customers who have been with you all along in your tough times. I don’t expect you to look into my queries but know that everyone is watching and reading this. Have a nice day after making my experience with you so regrettable. :/

Fraud Bill and Bad service

There is a fraud phone number and it shows that I messaged it but I never messaged it and they charged me ₹175 more. When I told it to the customer service the first speaking person said that I called the international number and then they say that it shows that I messaged the international number and I had never done it. Please be sure before you tell us because we consider it as fraud if you tell us two things at the same time. And why would we send thirty- five messages to an international number? And it is not shown in my messages that I called or messaged any number like that, then why is showing in your bill that I still messaged them? We consider it as fraud bill and bad service. When I told them to look into the matter and clear it, they say that it is showing to them that no extra or fraud charges were applied to my number and I really did the call or message and I have to pay the bill. I don’t understand, how can you tell a customer to pay the bill even if there is something wrong. Even after telling them the matter, they won’t budge and made it seem like I really messaged the international message when I did not. I would really like you to look into this. Also I sent an email to Airtel regarding this and also sent them some links attached to the mail about the fraud number so that they check and clear this matter, but there was no response instead they asked me to put my feedback here. Still I have payed the bill, but I need the clarification from the company about this. And if you don’t send me the clarification, I will convert my phone number to some other service provider.

False advertisement did by Airtel

I recharged my Airtel Number with 399/- MRP plan where they clearly Mention that Wynk Music Unlimited downloads free. But after recharged and login Wynk app and try to download song for listen offline app always redirect me to buy subscriptions. When airtel provide subscriptions with their recharge than why I again buy subscriptions and pay subscriptions charges this Airtel ? I try for support and call n number of times at Airtel Customer Care but no attention on my request airtel team clearly said to me that we didn’t provide any support and service for Wynk music app. If they didn’t provide support than why they advertised and attract customer in Airtel. I lodge complain Wynk app too no respond from Wynk team and neither I got any support from Airtel customer support team.
My suggestion don’t buy airtel Airtel add “we give answer to all your question “ is only for advertisement they didn’t hear customer query and provide any kind of support to the customer.
I am totally frustrated by Airtel service and support. And no option to quit Airtel because recently I opted Airtel and now 90days I Bear these type of pathetic service and support by Airtel..

All bunk, no sense

I ported to Airtel from Idea some months ago thinking a bigger company would serve me better. I was offered a plan 499 which was 40 per cent higher than the one I was using but I was assured that after three months I could downgrade it by Rs 200 or so and my bills would be more or less to what I was paying Idea, depending on usage. Unfortunately the Airtel (NO) Thanks only offered higher plans. When I made my first request to port out a little more than a week ago I was told that my plan could be downgraded to 349 or 399 (I’m not sure as that plan does not reflect on app). My other family members are also using Airtel numbers so to save on my bills I migrated to family plan just a few days ago. But since then my internet has been either too slow or not working. Earlier this evening Airtel helpline informed me that I had exhausted my data limit while the family said that 200 GB was left. If this is not robbing the consumer what else is.

Worst Customer Service

I have a flight to catch at 5 in the morning and had to make a recharge using the AIRTEL THANKS app. My first transaction failed and my second transaction was successful and despite that, I was charged twice. The balance is still not reflecting in my account. I have no service, no calling options and absolutely no data. There is no way to contact customer support and absolutely no way to file a complaint for duplicate transactions. Please do not use Airtel. I’m considering porting my number. Absolutely horrible service.
This is considering the fact that i have ported my number to AIRTEL. The automated responses are so annoying that you would feel like porting your number and that would still work faster than their customer support service. The very first thing I do when I land is to port my number from AIRTEL to a better service - atleast a service which treats its customers properly. I have been duped of my money with duplicate transactions. Horrible, horrible service. I wish i could give this app a negative rating.

Worst experience

I don’t know when there is no network and mobile data connection, how could I raise a complaint by using Airtel thanks app. How dare you are saying that you will achieve zero complaints. I hope you can achieve it because all the queries I raised through this app were closed without any response. Even Iam unable to connect to customer care and the IVR is saying due to COVID we are unable to connect. Even I didn’t any voice while making or receiving calls. Even I am unable to open a single page through the browser. Worst experience from the last 4 months. It’s not poor, it’s Worst in door coverage.

Tickets always getting closed without even speaking to me

Being a 12 years old platinum customer I don’t expect this from airtel. I have lodged complaints I don’t know how many times, every time I receive a miss call and when try to call back it says it’s an automated number and they can’t answer, they’ll get back to me and after this happens a couple of times I receive a msg stating your ticket has been closed. I am facing the network issue on calls since ever and now on top of that my internet data stopped working which i rarely use to pay at retail outlets despite of being paying a good amount and having a postpaid connection with how much data i can’t imagine as I use it rarely and airtel claims to carry it forward. I almost stay at home all the time and use my wifi which is not yours thankfully still not able to use my so called plenty of data which airtel claims to provide me but just to show numbers in GB as if doesn’t works at all. I am very disappointed and an unsatisfied customer of airtel who is tired of coping up you guys. This time if my complaint goes closed without interacting to me, I am done with airtel with all my family members and friends who are using airtel. You know what I am not much of a complaint person I always simply choose to switch if a service provider in any field is incapable of providing a service I am paying for still I have never left airtel considering you guys use to provide good customer service at a point of time but now I can’t bear it anymore.

DTH plan change

Very poor designing. I want to see my current channel list, it shows recommendation. I searched in help by typing current channel list, it shows oh no result. Have you ever seen TATA sky app, if not please do see. It seems some marketing person has designed the app rather person handling user problems. There are so many places where you can do marketing and recommendation but customer should be able to see his/her plan current information in a simple manner. What channels i am paying for are not visible any where, incase it is there than i am not able to find as a customer that means simplicity is missing and you should not be doing this job. Too much misguiding information and basics are missing... You should design a app even a 10th class pass rural person should be able to use this, but in your case even IT professionals head is spinning to get the information.
I have also seen advertisement for bringing tickets to zero. First of all in DTH support section i can search my problem but in case failure of search its not showing any option to log a ticket. It will automatically bring ticket to zero....

WORST Customer Service Ever

Before the lockdown, we had to travel back to our home state from Bangalore. After reaching here, when we tried to apply for disconnection of broadband service, the website said one should go in person to the nearest customer care centre to do that, which is impossible during lockdown. For two months we had to pay for our 300gb plan, which amounts to Rs 1100+. When we tried to contact the customer care, an automated announcement said to either use the app, or send them an email regarding our queries. App did not have anything regarding the termination of service. When the email regarding the same was sent, an automated replay came back advising it is not possible to disconnect. Then when finally the safe-custody option was made available in the app, we applied for it. Today I got a call from Airtel saying that the safecustody will be revoked from today onwards and we’ll have to apply for it again. And the most frustrating part is that Airtel does not allow us to do that for 1 week. This means every month of safe-custody, we should pay for the safe custody as well as the usage charge for 1 week. Pitiful service and totally unprofessional dealings from Airtel. First thing to do when we get back to bangalore is to terminate all the airtel connections we’ve.

Airtel has no responsibility for their customers in abroad!

I have been shifted to Germany for my study purposes & over a period of 1month my sim has no network at all. Its really sad to say this but being always a premium member of Airtel always still its the same case. I have been trying to reach out via apps toll free numbers etc etc but no response being in the 21st century the services should be one of the best & the after sales service is what brand builds its goodwill i wonder how can you all do this to your customers who is using your services from years & years!! Like many other customers have faced this as i can see the reviews & even i have been facing this problem of abroad roam issues which means you all haven’t fixed it yet!
I hope i get a response after this because the problem i have been facing with my bank transfers & my access to funds has been a tremendous pain for me for a couple of months now.
Sorry team airtel but if you’ll can still help your customer it will be a great help but till then i don’t find any way to provide you a positive comment.

App crashes and lots of bugs

Very poor app management. No executives for email customer support. I can’t view my account details in the app. My mobile number is upgraded to postpaid even though at some places the app still asks me to recharge. Also at some places it is postpaid and at some it appears prepaid. Updating the app or reinstalling the app does no help at all. It has been 1 month since this issue and it has started when I upgraded postpaid. I am getting messages to pay the bill from Airtel but no app service is being provided. I am not able to see the due date or the bill amount or the data left. In short I am able to do nothing. It is like my number is lost somewhere in their database. The app is not able to decide whether the registered number is prepaid or postpaid. Really disappointed by the app and also by the customer services. Every time I want to open the Airtel thanks I need to open it at least 4 to 5 times. Providing such a service and still calling yourself India’s best network is not at all worthy. I want a fix to these issues very badly. Hope that this gives you the idea about issues. All I can do is just hope for this to be fixed soon. I can also send a screen recording of the crashes as a proof if I get a REPLY FOR THE ISSUES.

Miserable service which penalises you for their shortcomings

Miserable support from the technical team which refuses to acknowledge a change at their end. Fault lies with the SIM card but Airtel conveniently pins the blame on the device. Airtel seems to have rendered their old SIM cards useless leaving paying international customers in the lurch and feign absolute ignorance on their part.
What’s worse they bill you extra for their shortcomings when u receive an international call. Horrible duplicitous behaviour which leaves customers like me with an unusable SIM card and unable to carry out business transactions.
First thing I certainly swear to do on my return to India is to move away from Airtel both postpaid and prepaid connections of my family members.
Also won’t be surprised with the typical response from their tech team to contact them at the support number via international call without a shred of effort to acknowledge and address the customers trouble. What’s worse - one cannot even get a replacement SIM card unless physically presenting yourself at the Airtel showroom while having to pay your bills with regularity for a service which does not work!!!

Worst experience ever..

All of a sudden during these crisis on my phone it says NO SERVICE.. I tried all the troubleshooting steps, have turned ON Airplane mode and turned it off.. restarted my phone several times and nothing helped. I did reset my phone network settings which still did not help. Check if my SIM works on other phone and still says NO SERVICE. I tried to use a a different SIM in my phone and it works fine. So it was absolutely a problem with my AIRTEL SIM. I had no other go but to talk to Airtel support and got a worst ever experience.. First of all it took 2 days for me to get to talk to a real person, I still understand that there is limited support because of the crisis however, even the person was of no help at all.. when I ask explain the situation the support person directly gave me a straight answer that my SIM should be damaged and I will have to just wait until Airtel store opens.. How in this world anyone knows when the situation will get right and when will the Airtel store will open.. How can a Huge company like AIRTEL not have any online service that will replace the services provided in store. I stay away from my family and need to have constant contact via phone to know their well-being and keep them informed that I am fine as well. I asked the support agent if there is a online Airtel website or app where I can request for a new Sim as she says that my SIM is damaged - and yet again a straight forward answer which was NO.. I always have suggested my friends about going for Airtel but with this experience I will surely not do that going ahead...

No network 20 out of 30 days

I use an international pack paying 2499 per month.. it’s because I stay overseas but need my Indian number. First the pack does not auto renew now a days but airtel smartly auto renew the daily plan after the end of the monthly plan ... I cannot renew before end of the month. So every time in the renewal process I get charged one or two days @ 499 per day which is daily plan. This is cheating... you cannot auto renew monthly plan but you auto convert to a daily plan without asking the customer. Second the pack does not work 20 out of 30 days.. just not network at all.. it’s happening as I write also... I make tireless international calls to set it right... this is the way airtel is going to repay the govt the 35,000 chore scam. Truly scamsters
Now you are saying contact the customer care... as if I have not done it already... please see how many times I logged complaints in customer care and every time they close it without resolving it... this is a terrible way to reply... just diverting the problem to someone else... Customer Executive and Network Related

So let me recall that advertisement that says Airtel network is everywhere, its great when you have Airtel Network but i was stuck at a place in Haryana where a single line of network was not received. When i tried to contact the customer care to know about this that i am not getting the network so the customer executive is asking me to change the SIM card. Wow what a reply!!!! I was trying to help out that please establish a tower or is there any possibility to get a roaming network instead from other operators so as to at least receive incoming calls but no the executives are so bad that they ask the customers to just change the SIM card its your SIM card issue. Let me tell you guys if it was a SIM card issue how the hell i got in contact to you when i was in network. And also posting this by using your data. Please listen and understand the issue before committing anything rubbish which is neither relevant. I was getting a No Service network however i was expecting some other operators roaming network simple as that to make my calls functioning. I felt so helpless and poor for this guys. Not acceptable at all. If at all you understand what am i trying to say please guys establish a tower in the region that i am telling you all. Instead of showing false advertisements!!!

Utterly disappointing!!!

Not sure what went wrong here, but this app has become an utter nuisance!!! Previously I used this to check my account, plan, usage, balance remaining etc. Now I just can’t do that anymore! At most I can see my payment, receipt. Rest of the app are all on a BIG OVERDRIVE to sell and earn money from me!!!!!! Either asking me to switch my voice connection or asking to buy extra this, that!! Do they think that by irritating a customer like me in this way, they are going to be able to ‘upsell’ ANYTHING to me??? On the contrary this might make me start thinking about moving out of my existing broadband plan with them and try to explore other option, something I wouldn’t have done otherwise, being more or less happy with their broadband service! What’s wrong with you guys??? PLEASE REVERT BACK TO YOUR EARLIER VERSION!!!! The current one is only hurting you and can only reduce your sale instead of increasing it! If you are REALLY listening, PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT THE RATINGS from other reviewers, consistently 1 STAR!!!! It’d have been even less, ZERO STAR. But no such option alas! App issues and Airtel network is pathetic...

Weird weird..I don’t see my landline account details in the app which I have added few years ago, when I try to add my landline account again the OTP is sent to a different number where as the alternate registered number for my landline account is my mobile number which is showing on the bill for years together. I got it changed back to my number and the customer care do not have any clue how did that happen. Finally when I get the OTP to my mobile to add my landline account I get a message stating this is already linked to my number. The landline account details do not show on the app. Clearly the app service and the services have gone down drastically by Airtel. The Airtel network is absolutely 0 at my home and we collectively raised a complaint by all 40 accounts in the apartment by we get a response starting the Airtel cannot do anything about it... pathetic service... did not expect such a response from Airtel at a location where there could be more than 100 accounts near to my apartment. I see no tower within the 3 kms radius at all, seriously considering portability options

Not living in Mars...i just live in bangalore city...if you cant provide a good service in one of the major city like Bangalore than i dont think you will be providing a good service elsewhere....At last, dont confuse customers with technical stuff like 3g handset, 4g sim etc etc...Dont think we are fools to believe what ever your customer care executives say to us...please understand that, you are not the only service provider available in India..Value your customers and their concerns.
