If you need to know your pulse rate, look no further. This is the App. I have been using this App instead of Pulse Oximeter to know my pulse when I don't feel good and when I doubt something is wrong with my pulse rate. And I do get quite good observation with App indeed.

Measures heart rate better than other apps sampled
The app is simpler to get a result out of, compared to other heart rate monitors sampled(which tend to be too sensitive, at least for my finger)
While most of the features need to be bought, if you just want heart rate, that comes out of the box and is free. One good thing is they have unbundled the features, so you aren't paying for what you don't need

Great quick workout package
For people with little time and inclination, this is an app which guides you through short 30 second exercises. There are 12 of them. With a gap of 10 sec in between it forms 7 minutes. Good for young and middle aged people. The voice guidance is great. The figurs used to show the exercises could be bigger as one needs to look at them from about 2 mts. There are other apps like this but this seems to have a clean and useable interface.
Also has a heart rate measurement system. Cant say how accurate it is but using an ipad to measure heartrate in the first place itself is a questionable thing.
