App I Love, But Recent Crashes Are Ruining the Experience

I’ve been using TV Time since 2015, and it has been one of my all-time favorite apps. I absolutely love how it lets me track everything from movies, series to anime and regional shows, and tracking each episode, re-watches, emotions, favorite characters, and even engage with such an active and fun community. Being able to read and reply to comments, share reactions, and see how others feel about the same moments is what makes this app truly special.

However, over the past few months (especially recently), the app has become extremely unstable. It crashes frequently, sometimes it doesn’t load at all and shows network or loading errors, even though all my other apps work perfectly fine. Even for comments you have to reload the app multiple times to see replies etc. This makes it really frustrating to use.

As someone who has been loyal to this app for years, I genuinely don’t want to leave it. But these issues are making it difficult to keep up with my watch history and interact with the community, which is the whole point of using TV Time.

I sincerely hope the developers can address these bugs and improve stability as soon as possible. This app means a lot to long-time users like me, please don’t let it fall behind.

I have been using this app for over 5 years and it’s one amazing app. I track all my favourite series with this app. Be it Anime or TV/Web series it can track it all and the best part is that there is a very good community to interact for every one of your favourite episodes of your favourite series. Loving the new update, UI looks shinier and customised for ipad rather than zoomed iPhone app like in the previous versions. There’s no response from the support team what so ever everytime I open a ticket in the app the ticket is closed in a day or two without resolving the issue. Then I reached through mail there was an automated response where I reported the issue again. Still no response or update for almost a mont now. I raise so many tickets with my user ID in the app you guys just close the tickets without any response There was a response stating the below content it’s been more than a month how does the support team not have any information We have your original ticket on file, and you will receive your badges once the Support team has the resources to award them to your account. Thank you.

Tv time had a much better look in the older version as it was easy to navigate and use the content to follow tv series. In the new version navigation is a bit tricky and not as intuitive as one before

Bug in orientation

Since last update, everything was fine. Loved the app. But after the last update, the orientation has bugs. App does not orient when screen is rotated, but when the app is minimized and reopened, it will be oriented in one direction and then then it won’t re-orient at all. Must kill and reopen the app to fix the orientation.

Kindly fix the orientation bug, it’s very annoying.

Apart from that, i love the app.

End of October update: good try with some misfires

I would give the app 5 stars even with the redesign, but i don’t understand the relevance of the “Watch Next” tab on the home page of the app. Why isn’t “Upcoming” the first tab when you open the app? I downloaded the app more than a year ago because it helped me keep track of which episode was coming up next and when it would air. Even if you want to keep the “Watch Next” tab because of your algorithm or whatever other reason, at least give us the ability to re-arrange the tabs on the home page to our preference. My “Watch Next” tab only show tv shows I’ve already watched. The most important feature of this app always was “Upcoming”. Time to bring it front and center.
