The Digital Subscription keeps crashing on 1st generation I-Pad. Download has become painfully slow. When you try to restore your purchase everything goes haywire! The digital support is not user friendly. The articles are as usual very good, provided you can read them without facing software bugs and other issues. Sad, that such a nice subscription is marred by technicL issues.

I have subscribed to reader's digest. But it is still asking me to subscribe and not able to ready single magazine. Worst to the core. Their customer care support is also worst. No providing proper answer. Don't waste your money with this app.

Slow and torchuring download

This is the most brilliant magazine app i've seen with crisp images n video quality. But the cons somehow make it the most difficult app to use- 1. The size of a singles edition is approx 500mb! Which is a lot of space n download time!
2. The download is paused if u switch on to some other app. Also the download is paused if the screen gets locked! So basically for having one single edition of magazine on ur iPad u need to disable the screen lock, stop using the iPad completely n dedicate at least an hour or two (or even more in my case) for the download.
So, the app is brilliant but it demands both time and space!

Loved readers digest from childhood, and has a collection of it from 1952, the year that magazine was first launched in India. Would love, if they release the back issues too, in the iPad format.

I downloaded the app and purchased the latest issue of the magazine for 3.99.
The download keeps getting disconnected ( its been three days) and I still haven't managed to download the entire magazine or to open it at all.
Clicking on App Support is useless because it fails to connect.
Wait and see more reviews to ascertain that they have got their act together.
