One of the worst designed news apps in India
Extremely irritating experience.
1. App opens a video with audio on as soon as you open the app.
2. Every article has a banner ad that comes on top of the news article.
3. The page refreshes while you are reading an article and moves you back to the top.

Most clean app
This is the cleanest app that I have ever seen because all it shows is just a white screen. Hope to read some news sometime. During startup, it doesn’t show options for 2nd and 3rd question.

100s of Bugs & Performance issues
Being a fan of News18, I reinstalled the App after a month again hoping that the issues must’ve been sorted out. But I’m surprised one can’t just read anything except the homepage.

Feels like a 3rd rate app
Just like they suspect anything that’s good for India their app is also suspiciously 3rd rated. It loads slowly and sometimes the wrong articles come up. The worst now is it takes you to other app adverts like some scam apps do. At least have your digital representation in order guys, don’t become a joke here too, like you already are on TV.

Crashing of App during Live TV
Although App is technically sound but it crashes during live tv program. It happened for 5-6 times during watching of 1 hour program on my mobile phone. I had to restart each time when program suddenly stopped . Kindly rectify the error. Thanks.

The content selection is broad and spans across a variety of topics, that is useful for any broad minded user. The news stories are obviously very well written and are not only interesting and very informative but also thought provoking. The App also functions well. I tried it on the iPhone 6+ and the iPhone 5S also, all running iOS 9.3.1 but it won't work on iPhone 5. Same resolution as iPhone 5S and iPhone SE but doesn't work. No other app has shown this behaviour so far. Health apps might need some user info, or if PII is contained, maybe it needs advanced encryption from the Touch ID. But why a news App
