This app has never worked flawlessly ever. It has issues tracking location on ios. A lot of times the cab is alloted and I get a call from driver however the bloody app is till searching for cabs. Today morning I am bot getting the price quotes. Only option to book cabs without the pricing. Uber tries all stuts to avoid transperancy

I upgraded my iphone from a SE to a XR and it has issues with booking a cab.
I can go all the way to confirm pick up location and then the app freezes. I sometimes manage to go through after three or four restarts.
I initially thought it was the phone and spent a month with apple support collecting data diagnostics, screen sharing , the works. Apple confirmed that its not the phone but the app.
In fact i did check around with other iphone XR users and found it to be a common problem and well they dont struggle they just use another app to hail a ride when the app gives them trouble.
When i did contact Uber Support with the problem they just suspended my account. No reason provided. Just like that. And when asked further why they did it, the response was “ they cannot manually lift the restitution” .

Estimated arrival of cab different by almost 20 -25 minutes. Always it shows 5 minutes for arrival of cab at the beginning, when you confirm, it gets extended to 10 minutes and you get to wait for 20-25 minutes.

Uber, the driver charged extra cash from me, and my Paytm account was debited as well. And all you have to say is “we’re unable to initiate a refund”? Are you people able to do anything at all? Shame on your service, really. You don’t deserve to run a professional service. The minimum decency would be to refund the amount, but who can expect that from a perennially unprofitable sorry excuse of an organisation such as yours.

Very unprofessional support and cheated drivers.. who didnt inform the customer about the payment method .. driver ask for cash payment. if you are not aware that u have book the cab through paytm or by cash. And their so called support said -“we do not expect our riders to pay more than the trip fare which is inclusive of tolls/parking fees and any other applicable charges.” And they ask for the TIP for their drivers. Wow what a support and what a double face statements ...
Everyone beware of such stupidity . I have made fool on the same that i have paid the compele amount in cash without knowing that i have booked it through paytm.. and their support disnt even ask from their cab drivers and ask me they dont help, as they dont ask to pay extra ... support is very poor.

I am having very bad experience in using uber. As it is showing some charge over my account but not specifying the details of the ride. Even in the ride history I am not shown due on any ride.
There is no facility where I can lodge my complaint. I am facing this problem from last one month.
I can not use uber because of this reason please do something wherein a customer can reach to you.

Whenever you give a bad rating and write a bad review after any trip of your this app will just try to block your account or hack it for some time and ask to pay some amount saying that you haven’t paid the full amount of your previous trip so I must say that this is a very bad act and I don’t suggest people out there to use this app i think ola is the next best alternative to this one

In NCR Uber drivers don’t start from thr location till the time customer calls up and then they ask for destination. If you don’t disclose destination they won’t move. Once you tell them they ask to cancel. What kind of ethics Uber has? And one can not contact Uber reg this. They have a set of issues to select and they knowingly don’t keep this issue listed. Above all they charge cancellation fees from customers for the rude behaviour of drivers. What a service!

Uber does fraudulent practice so many times. Would like to draw two particular occasion where I have been over charged substantially. In my last ride 24 th dec. I was told my charge will be 108 rupees at the time of booking. The trip went smoothly with out any delay in traffic , at the end of the ride I was charged Rs. 164/- without valid reason. The bigger problem was there is no proper customer care support. Only few options are given on online complain raise modalities. No customer care phone number. And no option of mailing apart from from those options. Pathetic corrupt business practices.
The same thing happened in month of September when I was travelling to apollo hospital from Dhaka kalibari. I chose the cash option. Suddenly at end of journey. The bill was exaggerated I could make out from fair details a very high amount has been added as pending payment(?) . I was shocked to my core since there was pending payments earlier. The driver started begging saying “if you don’t pay they are going to take the money from my pocket” considering the poor driver I paid the money. I must say uber is a unethical fraudulent company with corrupt corporate practices. Shame on you. Uninstalling.

I’ve been an UBER user for a very long time. I used to love the app and the services initially. But for the last fee months, I am facing a lot of issues and problems while booking a ride.
Most of the time, when I urgently need a cab or an auto, nothing is available!!
And these days, the app shows “high demand and high fares” almost all the time.
I think this needs to be checked and fixed asap! Otherwise I’m definitely not going to use this app anymore!

While i still prefer Uber over any other cab service, i still dont understand the idea behind some or the current meta.
For example, how is ride pass decided for specific users? I travel DAILY through uber, if i am not a valid customer for ride pass, then who else? There is no justification or clarity over ride passes either. This is one major concern for me.
Secondly, i am not sure about the rest but why my application offers only 3 modes of payment- cards/cash/paytm? Why am i not seeing UPI or Gpay as payment method? Everybody is adopting these methods of payment but my uber app is still oldschool with cards/cash/paytm.
Can you address these concerns?

The company app does not allow me to sign up or sign in. The help asks to provide compulsory two previous rides history and screens shots. Worst app management.
I uninstalled the app and installed again. The problem of app not allowing to sign in continue.
