Worst hotels and reward system
You cannot claim any reward points for stays booked by company or booked outside. Weird policy as marriott and radisson allow this and now i know why most of my colleagues never stay in IHG properties. I’ll try to avoid your properties as much as possible.

You earn reward points by staying at their properties and they expire it. Then they deny you the benefits.

Worse experience
We’ve been with IHG since 2019 and yet this time when we booked for Goa, Candolim they are messing with us! They cancelled our booking automatically, we booked from the application and now they’ve been transferring calls one after another since last 2 days, the systems needs to update! We were on hold for 30 minutes and the operators (SAM) ends the call. Without responding. We expect a lot more from an international group, even after being a silver member we feel so helpless from the team

Very Poor Service
Really Pathetic stay despite being a regular customer at ur hotel. Shocking level of Hygiene & service. Felt like I was staying at some fly by night operators hotel instead of Holiday inn.
Issue 1 - Algae in Bathroom shower shows poor levels of cleaning
Issue 2 - the whole corridor full of dirty plates for whole night
Issue 3 - extremely cold rooms with no heating
Issue 4 - failure to provide an extra blanket for 2 hours despite multiple follow ups
Horrible service. Shocking stay at ur Gurgaon Holiday Inn express Sector 50.

Not able to see the Bonus Points rates
Suddenly after the last overhaul of the app I am no longer able to see all those great promotional rates like the rates with bonus points or dinner or similar. I hate the new app because of that.

It’s really very easy to find city and then hotel, I am using it from last three years and only stayed during my travel in IHG hotels only, looking forward to see more hotel in Baroda, Surat , diu , Daman and also in Dehradun. Hyderabad should have holiday inn or Crowne plaza. Available for any kind support to IHG management .

Only constraint is that the rewards card should be visible offline as well. In case of international travel it becomes difficult to fetch the card without paying hefty data charges.
