Everyone updates the app for good right but it is the exact opposite for starmaker application.

On every update there will be bugs and no one knows whether the voices will fade or latency will occur or the comments page will surface to the top and will not go down.

It is really frustrating. Firstly their glitches never end. And it feels like as if the bots are running this application. And then they also suspend your id without any reason or of someone pays them to do so. There are many people who are doing this in order to get some ones ID to be suspended. Looks like the app is turning into a pathetic one. And there it is less singing and more of abusive conversations that people are getting into. It is not for people who sing anymore, the app is now more for abuses and selling coins and suspending accounts with false proof or taking money to ban the ids.

I’m getting an error message saying ‘registering with mobile phones is not supported temporarily’ and ‘please check the phone number was entered correctly’. I tried with e mail but, that doesn’t work too.

Now it seems as I am singing in a hall with other disturbing sound/music while I always sing in Custom effect setting with reverb 54, Hall 64 setting. Earlier in the same music setting when I used to sing my voice quality and recording quality was too good but now I don’t know whats wrong with Starmaker-Apple? Now the recording quality and my voice quality both has degraded on Starmaker with apple device regarding this I gave feedback and reported this many times but no response came from your technical team and this fault remains yet and moreover now in the Draft section my recent 3-4 recorded songs are not playing and when I posted these they did’t publish in my Recordings they disappeared regarding this also I gave feedback and reported this many times but no response came from your technical team so Starmaker pls do something early send some update regarding this glitch pls look into this matter early.

The all tracks getting glitch issues since last update. So many feedback given to SM feedback page. But thought this update will resolve this glitch issues, but no the things remained same. And due to this issues the vocal sound not properly aligning with the music bar . Result is BAD scoring in all songs. I am a Verified singer V tag holder.. now always got A++ , now this glitch and bad syncing and scoring issues same song giving me A+ score.

My main issues, due to the new rules I have to post A++, 4 cover song’s monthly to retain my orange V tag. And I have APPLE phone. And now worried to how I can keep my tag if this IOS platform is paining me to get score?

Please solve iOS platform glitch and due to glitch scoring issues too.

I sang nearly 200 songs in SM and each of my songs got A++ and I used to score 100 on each lines of the songs I used to sang, but recently after updating the application, I suddenly found that I scored very badly and I only got A for the songs after update. Also sound quality suddenly dropped to a huge extent. I can’t believe myself of getting suddenly very low scores and only A grade for the songs after update. I also made feedback regarding my problems and also mailed the feedback on website, however the problem continued. SM is not able to improve the sound quality on application downloaded from Apple Store

The latest voice & music settings update on Starmaker has totally spoiled its reputation.

Even the best karaoke tracks are now sounding very ordinary. Really i have lost the interest in singing on Starmaker after having sung 500 plus cover and now my id is also not accessible. I raised several complaints but the Starmaker developer support seams to be deaf and dumb. Pathetic going Starmaker. The time has come to close your business. Smule and other apps are doing better than you in terms of singing audio and settings quality. The interests you show in introducing new games and gifts, just show 1% of that interest in solving the current audio music settings. Just revert back to the previous settings option. It was much better than now. Show some respect to the people who are usng your app.🙏🎧

Before 8.18.0 version which released on 18 august, sound quality while recording in ios was exceptional.. just like studio kinda recording… but since 5-7 days after latest version sound quality went terribly down.. but party room singing quality is still good… i m not able to record any song live and not able to initiate any collab.. i have checked same from 4-5 people, they are also facing same issue like distorted sound, offbeat, effect and sound not audible…kindly fix this bug or restore the previous version..

The new version has issues and I hope you would fix it quickly Issues: 1. The Deep slider has no effect, earlier it would allow to change bass at the time of recording as well as after recording 2. Too much noise and no echo on “Distance” mode, this was very good in the earlier version 3. If there is a break in the recording, it restarts several lines behind and leaves a blank. So effectively have to redo the entire song from start 4. At recording, it does not record from the start of the song, it does after a few secs This is very disheartening and I would urge you to fix the problems at the earliest

I’ve been using SM on iPhone for last couple of years and despite some intermittent small issues, the experience has been great till about a month ago. For last one month, I am facing huge voice distortion issues while recording a cover song, either video or just voice. Sometimes, only music plays in voice back, and some other time only vocals that too as noise. Have changed multiple earplugs and headphones but to no avail. Even in live video where there is no such issue on voice, video gets hanged despite best WiFi coverage. Seems SM is not bothered about its iPhone users!

People on iphone are not at all able to post their covers, sounding horribly. Tell me where to reach you. Shall i come down to your office to make you understand what have you done to this wonderful app on iphone.

Not liking even to open the app, such a disaster you have done to the app. Its been around 20 days people complaining and you people seems like busy in making money. My id is 2 years old and at 53 level. This is what my worth on SM.

StarMaker and apple used to be a quality before. Now it has degraded to the lowest level possible. The glitch in the apple has made me highly disappointed with this app. While singing, my voice suddenly vanishes and sometimes my voice doesn’t event come out while singing. I do not understand why the technical team hasn’t done anything about it, or maybe no one reported about it. Well the thing is, to know about the user queries, an official needs to be active and interacting with users to check on each and everything. Since the work load in india is huge, maybe you can keep some helpers in official room for that. Fix the glitches and bugs in apple, be it the voice vanishing problem of the latency issue. Or else this app is gone for good.

Unable to sing in party room

I am unable to sing in party room since last 5 days. It always shows network error while I can listen other people singing and I can post my covers, play game etc with no network difficulty.

It is only when I am going to sing in party room it shows network error. I can’t even do free style.

I tried with 4g data also but same problem. Please resolve this problem as soon as possible. I think this started after updating my starmaker.

I have a passion for singing but I was not able to show it but with the help of StarMaker I am able to show my talent to others. I get many gifts from others and even coins from which I am able to praise others also it is not necessary to tell about yourself and that’s the best thing you don’t need to tell your bio it is not necessary at all. An awesome app. The choice of songs is huge. Though there should also be an stop button to stop listening to a song after we have navigated away from it and it’s playing in the background. It’s obvious that the app corrects the vocals to make to sound better than what u are. There also seem to be many bogus accounts that send likes and messages. These ofcourse are app generated likes to keep one motivated. Otherwise great app. Reduce the membership like smule to Rs. 500/- for an year and see how people flood you!!

Star Maker Application is fantastic. I have been on SM for quite some time. I am a senior citizen and a die hard music lover. Till now had an excellent experience but for last few occasions I am not able to upload my posts. This has become a persistent issue. I do not have a network issue. I have made so many requests to resolve the problem but no respond from the team. Now I feel I will have to quit. Will be obliged if my problem is attended to.

I am 1 year user of this app. Everything was working fine. I bought a new earphones for this app but I am not able to sing in party room. Although My earphones are perfect when I sing to record a track it works good i think the developers didnt add this feature as this app dont have access to bluetooth devices i guess. Kindly fix it because everything is gonna be wireless soon. And if there is any fault then please its a request to rectify it as its better to focus on this part. I would give rating in minus because i did hosting in this app for 2 months. 1st month, 14,400 diamonds target i had done which salary is upto 200$. 2nd month i had done 35,652 diamonds target which salary is upto 600$... but I didn’t receive any salaries for my two months. I spoke to official Kriss Ann and Manu, they both earlier said me that my giftings we’re not live giftings. When i showed them my data they gave some other excuse that my timings we’re not done. When i showed them my live data, timings, targets & days... they just blocked me!!!!! It’s a big time fraud app(In short they we’re just trying to remove some or the other mistakes, and when they didn’t find any of my mistake they just blocked me so that they don’t send me my salary)... please don’t waste your hardwork, money, time on this app. I just don’t know what to do now, and so I’m writing this comment. They have really eaten up all my salaries which i had earned by my hardwork.

Too many battles on & on. Getting irritated. If not played then all these StarMaker captains warn us that they will remove us from their family. We are here to free up our mind from our daily tensions & sit calmly for a while to sing a song or to listen someone’s song. Daily task, profile level up is ok but why these hourly basis tool collect & one hour game for whole week. And thereafter again some other battle. Fix it & make this App one of the Coolest Karaoke App so that more people can join.

So many genuine singers are here without V tag ..and so many cheap dancer n get V tag for verified singer ..it’s disgusting ..now it is money making app with cheap way ..my profile is eligible for v tag but they never considered..I have good voice good profile/ I’d level but never get v tag ..so it’s a very big disappointment..I stopped live because of cheap comments . So many girls doing cheap activities and they are okay with that cheapness but I m not ..live was enjoyable before but now it’s horrible .. I can do live because I m good singer but because of this I can’t do ..

Functionality wise this app provides very good singing platform with sufficient songs in library however, my concerns are regarding comments, messages, and followers. When I opened new account I saw few people were already following me and I was following few other’s whom I don’t even know. I think most of the comments, messages, and followers are handled by realtime bots which provided positive feedback even if you sing worse, which is really not good way to get constructive feedback. Any feedback to users(singers) must be real and given by real users and not bots.

This makes me put 2 stars for this app.

I was in love with this app and was singing daily, taking part in all the battles and events. Then while singing in a party room of my family , I realised that I don’t have a single gold coin while others had plenty . Also even after completing the daily task , the app would show it as incomplete. Someone suggested that it’s better to log out and re login and probably the issue would resolve. It didn’t seem a big deal so I did that. Now I am not able to log back in. it creates a new Id by which ever method I try to go back in.... that is fb, my phone number, my gmail accounts. It now says I have multiple accounts. Worst part is this that I have been trying to get in touch with customer care but they never respond back. How can we have this kind of professionalism in today’s world. They don’t have any customer care number where u can reach them. They don’t reply back to ur complaints which u put through their app. Very bad experience. It seems my device has been recognised by starmaker and I shall not be able to have a genuine account ever . I shall have to have a hard factory reset for that.... ur app is not that good guys that someone will go to that extent.

I have written multiple time via app and email this morning to delete my SM ID but have not received any response.. How can they control what I want to do with my ID? I have level 33 which is all because of my regular participation on SM and not because of any recharges.. why should I do any banking transaction on SM is I am not comfortable? Their account delete option says beyond level 30 screen shots of two recharges is also to be given!!

They are holding us hostages, there is no customer care number where we can speak to.. no reply to request for deletion of ID.

Starmaker has a good concept and how singers and talented people can reach mass. However, they are only focused on users and issues related to recharge. I am trying to get my email associated to my account and that's seems to be a huge issue. Might as well give an option for users to handle their login method.

App crashes quite often and they keep changing the screens and pages. Change is good, but too much changes leads to frustration

I am disappointed with their customer service and also the officials who pretend to be helpful but they are not there to solve or transperantly escalate to have it resolved

Version 7.6.1 has fixed some bugs and added more bugs.. can't sing in a party room consistently. Q disconnects when my turn to pick up mic. Have a strong WiFi network though when queued app tends to stay offline. Funny behaviour, when I could hear others sing I can't see any comments and when comments keep flowing I can't hear others sing.

And also When I queue to sing a song , my turn comes but the music doesn’t start.... An error saying “ Something went wrong you can’t sing normally”comes... I tried to contact through in app feedback option but i am not able to send my feedback in it... when i tried to send feedback a message saying “ Failed to upload” comes...

Until a few weeks ago this was my favourite singing app but now for singing almost all songs we have to pay over a thousand bucks per month. This is not at all convenient. According to me the amount should be less so that all users can pay for a VIP pass. This is very irritating as I can not sing my favourite songs that I want to just because we need to pay for it. I would like StarMaker to be what it used to be a few months ago. I really thought of sharing this review as I don’t think I am the only one finding this a problem.

Overall the app is awesome. Everything is just awesome. But it’s still annoying that we ios isers can’t be able to copy messages neither in inboc nor anywhere. We can only copy names. So in my point of view this app needs one more update which allows ios users to copy messages in inbox. And one more thing the app support assistants doesn’t replying. I think they should reply. So that our problems could be solved earlier. Thakyou so much for giving us such an excellent app. I am giving 4 star ratings but once this new update come i will 5 star rating to this app.

These guys do a lot of events to earn bucks . Best performers are eliminated and the remaining paid gifters are appreciated. No value for real singers. These guys rely on gifts . A money making strategy nowadays. I loved this app an Year ago but as of now it degraded its class followed by its level. Money can’t buy you everything. You guys should’ve arranged events for good singers as well without paid gifts. You should arrange a special team for judging the good ones and should arrange non paid gift initiatives as well else I’m quite sure you’re going to lose a lot of members. I request good singers not to take this app seriously as because you’ll be thrilled to see what happens within it. It’s better if you don’t download it . We expect a lot more things from StarMaker apart from these paid things. I hope you understand.

This app has amazing free features for which apps like smule charge hefty subscription fee, but the quality of recording esp. singers voice feedback is not accurate clear and loud which hampers recording quality and experience.. so for professional quality or serious hobbyists smule still has an edge because of crystal clear voice feedback, but I hope starmaker team would catch up soon, I have reserved one of the missing stars in my feedback till then.
