Add some extra fun to achieving your fitness goals with Brave Adventurers Fitness Log, the app that lets you explore fantasy forests and dungeons from the comfort of your home - or gym! Unlike GPS-based apps which won't register movement in place, this app uses your phone's built-in motion sensors to track steps taken, distance traveled, and flights of stairs climbed. Your virtual position on the map is determined from this data, so you can keep making forward progress on the map while walking your dog around the block or jogging on the treadmill.
Once you purchase the app, you will gain full access to all content - no in-app purchases or subscription fees. Additionally, Brave Adventurers Fitness Log provides a 100% ad-free experience. Currently there are two different Quest Maps to choose from, with more to be added. We wish you well on your coming adventures!
HOW IT WORKS:
As soon as you press the ‘Begin Quest’ button on the main menu, the app begins tracking your steps, and continues until you press the ‘Exit and Log Quest’ button or exit the app. If the Quest screen is open, the app will continue recording your activity data (steps taken, average speed, etc.*) even while it is in the background and your phone’s display is off, allowing you to lower battery usage. As this is a standalone app and does not sync with the Apple Watch, you must have your iPhone on your person in order for it to track your fitness activity! It will work in your hand, pocket or purse, but not on your desk.
IMPORTANT: Please note that your data will not be recorded if you exit the app without pressing the Exit and Log Quest button!
*Although most parameters on the Quest screen continue receiving updates while the app is in the background, the 'Fastest Speed' parameter may not always capture your fastest speed reliably unless the app is open and the display on.
FEATURES:
- Choice of to-scale fantasy maps, with new maps to be added yearly (you can select which map to use with the page control under the map preview on the main menu)

- Unlock match-3 minigame plays with ‘energy’ earned from taking steps
- Minigame themes mirror fantasy map contents
- Earn achievements for some distance/speed benchmarks
- View activity stats for your latest quest as well as for the day, week and all time in the Logbook
- View your treasure and achievements anytime in the Artifacts gallery
