Live classes are being hosted on app so mobile screen is goes in sleep after few minutes. Now always need to click on screen again and again to from sleeping and it distracts. Zoom was really better.

Notes are less detailed
The app is pretty great with good interface and very good teachers, only thing is that the notes of each subject should be a bit more detailed. Many of the details which the teachers teach are not present in the note so it needs to be annotated which is also fine. But then, proper space should be provided in the pages so that there is space to write all the things.

Scrolling Issue in App on iPad Pro
Whenever we scroll down and open any folder located at the bottom, upon exiting that folder, the app automatically scrolls back to the top. This disrupts the user experience and becomes quite frustrating, especially when accessing content repeatedly from lower sections.
This issue does not occur on the iPhone version of the app and appears to be specific to the iPad Pro.

It would be helpful to adjust the speed by a slider control instead of fixed speed control of 4 options and some videos are so slow that it's better to have upto 3x speed control ,also it is a inconvenience to know the time of class on the day of class it would be much appreciated if we could get time of classes for whole subject at once or at least one day in advance perhaps in app or you could create a group in which only admins can make anoucements including tech team and teachers,

Problem with app and schedule management
I cleared my FMGE recently during my time everything was good and great and that’s why I recommended my juniors to join cerebellum because this faculties are really amazing there but the only issue they’re facing right now they told me that problem is with the frequently changing of schedule.they don’t have the proper schedule like they used to be at our time .now they’re changing schedule every second day or third day while and even also they’re having problems with the joining their live classes because they’re asking for registration again and again although they have everything in the perfect place .because of our journey as FMG is consistencies too much important, but when they get into that mood, they grab the courage to study, but suddenly changing schedule suddenly asking for the difference type of things really spoiled that energy .so they had issue with those thing if they fixed this thing it would be great for the student and another thing they have said that the late night Pyq are not opening every time perfectly. Sometimes it’s opening sometime it’s not and even question of the day are remaining same for 2 to 3 days at the same questions so these things are really like spoiling their mood and spoiling their energy to study so it would be great for the students if they fixed it so that they can study smoothly like we did.

Between average and good for FMGE
First of all there’s no proper relation between the notes and the order by which the faculty teach, it should be in order no compromise should be there. Secondly we are paying extra money to get the notes they are not free of cost, so we expect them to have normal font size, but in the pathology WB its too small. Thirdly the teachers ratio in the lectures are very big, whats the use of that? Apart from this cerebellum is mostly focused on PYQs and PYTs so if someone is going to skip something, then they can’t make it. If some is going to be determined, then it should be a cake walk.

Was doing mission classes, almost done with all subjects and ortho is definitely the worst one. The videos are very boring, very random, no proper arrangement. Teaching whatever is coming to his mind. Couldnt even finish one video, made me regret wanting to be a doctor.

Although teaching staff is good but they don’t cover from the basics this makes student confusing. Quality of notes is very cheap and less content teacher must understood student other platform covers more content than this platform this makes sense of regret of choosing cerebellum. Unintimated sudden policy change
They at the time of purchase allowed 4 devices login and 2 device usage simultaneously. I purchased after reading that policy. All of a sudden they made a change in the policy effective retrospectively without initimation or consent causing distress to students amid preparation. They delete messages and ban students racing grievances in the groups. Very bad support.
They are citing the reason that students are sharing the app which is not allowed. But they had to think about that when they initially made the policy of simultaneous usage. Seems they deliberately used that to draw in people and now changed it once they got what they wanted.

Fullscreen Bug on iOS – Status Bar Still Visible
The app content is excellent, but there’s a UI issue on iOS. When watching lectures in fullscreen, the iOS status bar (time, battery, WiFi) doesn’t disappear and stays visible at the top. Also, the fullscreen toggle icon at the bottom is slightly misplaced and doesn’t sit properly in the corner. This affects the viewing experience. Hoping the team can fix this in the next update!

Full screen button is still slightly further, I can almost sometimes go in full screen when i have to without actually mis taping and going to end of the video, why don’t you decrease its size to 1 pixel and randomly place it within the slider, it will be so fun trying to guess where to press to go in full screen.

Never values the time
Best teacher with worst management.
First they told they will issue the books on September 26 and urged us to pay . Then on sep 26 , when we gave a phone call they informed that books will be dispatched on October 6th . On October 6th , when we give a phone call , they are giving cold reply’s and asked us to wait 72 hours for dispatching.
Unable to tolerate this atrocity, asked for a refund.. they coldly and harshly told that it’s not possible . They never respects your time but eager is eating up your money .
After all, it’s pure business for them and treat students as their slaves, “ worst management “ .

Best app for medical students
Cerebellum is a great app. I've used other apps during college, but if I were to recommend anyone, I would definitely recommend Cerebellum. The teachers are excellent. Surgery: Amrit Sir, Medicine: Dilip Sir. Each and every teacher is so good!
The technical team was also helpful with a payment issue, even outside their working hours.
The app is very user-friendly and doesn't have bugs, unlike other apps.

Poor optimization
This app is just horrible, the gold content in it is held down by this app. Poor video seeker, wrong video timestamps, can’t move through videos precisely and even the topics section below the video is buggy, the topics just hide away while scrolling and u can’t select the topics that are way below. So, in short u can’t seek through quickly, u can’t select a topic that is in the end and u can’t skip seconds in videos quickly. Im not even covering the Bad UI aspect yet.

The faculty is amazing and literally amazing they are really putting in effort everyday . Sometimes the ophthalmology ENT faculty may feel a bit distracted but you see there mission class they are good too. There are just 2 drawbacks one being the poor notes quality and the disarrangement of topics in the notes of many subjects second being the UI it is sooo bad and bland you don’t feel like opening the app . Content is good but app functioning is poor
Faculty and there content are indeed very good but app functioning is very poor . I am trying to download a video but taking too much time in processing and still not getting downloaded . Also if we see recorded lectures without downloading them there is too much glitch either in sound or in video and even there are no option to adjust the quality of video playing. While solving the test question which are attempted and got wrong shows my ans and correct ans as well but if a question just show correct ans I didn’t know whether this is my correct one or I skipped this . Kindly solve these issues please. Costumer care helpline support is also not that much responsive

Still Waiting for My Order After 3 Weeks – No Real Dispatch
I placed my order on 6th May 2025 and received a dispatch email on 24th May, but the tracking still shows “Shipment not received from client” even after several days. It’s been 3 weeks now, and the parcel hasn’t even been picked up by the courier.
I’ve tried emailing and messaging the WhatsApp number mentioned, but there’s been no helpful response so far. This delay is seriously affecting my study schedule, as I was relying on these notes for structured preparation.
Please fix your logistics and customer support. Other platforms like Marrow and PrepLadder handle orders professionally. This experience has been disappointing, and I expected better from a reputed name like Cerebellum.

GREAT FACULTY, BACKEND NEEDS TO DO MUCH BETTER
The whole company is gonna lose out of y’all don’t up your game with the app.
1. The recording audio is SO bad. When content creators out there are giving us much better audio I think paid content can give us decent audio. The mic that’s being given to the faculty is such a CHEAP QUALITY MIC. Management do you realise how much you guys are lagging because of this
2. As a doctor who’s worked in backend of marrow, the amount of process the goes into nuances in the app is actually not much. You just need to listen to your users. Why are the MCQ fonts SO SMALL it strains just to read them that I would rather use some other app for it
3. Notes? Horrible take more money if needed and give us good QUALITY NOTES. There’s literally no Point in the notes you provide us because the fine print is blurred we can’t see any of the radiological scans. Your brand ambassador being a radiologist management needs to do better
4. Customer care? A joke they don’t know anything. Anything we ask they say it’s not included in your package, when it actually is.
5. The whole app layout? PATHETIC it’s so hard to find anything we need to ask a million people on the telegram group

I’ve been using this app for a while, there were some technical problems and issues with device logins etc. despite that, what I love is the commitment and genuineness of the teachers. I also support this platform because unlinke pure businessmen, these people are doctors who’ve created the platform at reasonable prices and try to work on feedback and hence the technical aspects have also improved overtime

Disappointing and Outdated in 2025

I recently subscribed to this app, expecting a modern, seamless experience, but unfortunately, it feels stuck in 2015. The lack of basic features is shocking for a subscription-based service in 2025. Here are the key issues:
1.No Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Mode: In an era where multitasking is essential, the absence of PiP mode is a glaring omission. It’s frustrating to not be able to use other apps while keeping content in view.
2.No Dark Theme: The app lacks a dark mode, a basic feature that is now standard in most apps. This omission not only strains the eyes but also feels outdated.
3.Poor iPad Compatibility: The app performs poorly on iPads, especially with my iPad Air. It doesn’t utilize the screen real estate effectively and feels like a stretched version of the mobile app.
4.Lack of Smoothness: The overall user interface lacks polish. Scrolling feels jittery, and animations are clunky. For a paid app, this is unacceptable.
5.Intermittent Glitches: The app frequently freezes or crashes, making it unreliable. These interruptions ruin the user experience.
6.Outdated Design Choices: The interface is full of common design flaws and silly mistakes, such as buttons placed too close together, confusing navigation, and an overall dated look.
For a subscription-based service, I expected more innovation and attention to detail. The developers need to step up and address these fundamental issues if they want to stay relevant in today’s competitive app market. Until then, I can’t recommend this app.

Good but need to improve the notes and account logins
The faculty is no doubt, its amazing, the content is very good, the test are also good, but the custom modules have no tags in it. The notes are not appropriate in the sense, We have to note every now and then the images are blur, There is no space, and the other thing I would like to highlight is the problem with the account logins. I mean to say that this app doesn’t show from which device it has been logged in previously and there is no option for us to log them out.

Its a supplement, not a one stop solution!!
I have been using Cerebellum for one year, it provides a lot of function with very less price. You get regular live classes on Zoom. You get PYQ ,question bank. Et cetera, but it is still just a supplementary app, unlike marrow, which is a one-stop solution by cerebellum only if you don’t have time if you are in last one or two years of your studies, but if you have a lot of time then go for marrow,
Cons: Cerebllum notes and rapid revision are very bad quality
Pros: cheap price, live classes, Zainab Vora BTR.

The quality of questions in the Q Bank is great. But it needs some improvement for better user interface
1. Filter of “bookmarked questions only” , “wrong questions” , “correct questions” while navigating through Q bank module.

Improved a lot!
App has slowly but surely improved a lot. Just one thing I’m amused by, is why is there a limit to the number of times one can retake a test in the q bank? If I want to revise a particular topic and want to retest myself, but if I’ve already done so in the past twice or so, I wouldn’t be able to take the test again and am forced to go through the questions passively, which is not that helpful.

Disable NEXT option for QBANK and add auto next play video
During solving the QBANK, if by mistake we click on NEXT, (mostly happens during scrolling the questions) the question is missed. It shows You missed the question. Please disable the NEXT option until the present question is answered in QBANK.
Auto next play video feature very much needed. Because to watch video we have to go back scroll down and then play it again. Cerebellum is best. Just improvement in technical issues is required, NOTES sections needs to be improved.

Customer Service can be improved
First of all ,The contents are great though it’s personal choice,the app improved a lot from its original version kudos to them.
However it says that I would be able to login from 4 devices.I have poco x2,iphone 15,ipad 8,sansung tab all logged in …still when I am signing in phone its warning me and after some time automatically im logged off.
I dont know if its me or the app …I just cant find a customer care number and the chat option is there but i an waiting for ages to get a reply after filling 8 fields .

Pls improve your notes quality and rapid revison
Bad thing in cerebellum is there. Notes very bad quality because notes pages are sapreted from the book during study and in sapro all subjects within one book which make book heavy and bulky and difficult to read and pages are separate from the book and very uncomfortable to carry the book so pls my request pls take extra money and separate the subject wise single notes and pls make-sure your binding quality of notes
And my other concerns related to rapid revision many of the topic not completed some videos are missing in their video some topic are missing in there video sir pls improve your rapid revision and contact and notes
By the way most of the faculty very good and best except 3-4 faculty like opthel physiology very bad experience so sir pls its your responsibility to give us good thing and proper content with good notes thankyou

Firstly the app, in landscape mode the screen just gets divided into 2 vertical halves, which makes both the video as well as the notes into an almost unreadable ratio, do you realise that mostly the app is used in a landscape mode & not in portrait mode? You show us warning of secondary devices but do not let us log them out or even show which devices are being used is a drawback.
I am a BTR subscriber I must say at least while writing on your own screen, we know how mam looks, so reduce the teachers size and let us see the actual content in a bigger font and format, because the hard copy you have printed is useless, keep some space in between the pictures, tables, and the lines inside the tables, and everything in general, such a small font, then an extremely cramped space to write, how do you expect us to revise such messy notes, literally you provided so much space in the parts where we do not have to write much and literally no space where it is to be written, please don’t hesitate to make 2 parts of the BTR hard copy if required, giving 1 extra blank page to write after every subject is not going to work. Even the pictures and the tables are so unclear and small to read from the hard copy ohh god. Paper quality is fine but the Print Quality is really bad. Not worth the Hype which makes it not worth the price as well .

Use my money to hire software developers.
I know this app is just taking off and it’s built on the back of one woman but it’s my kinda loud request to work on it. It keeps crashing and buffering and halting every 5th minute. It’s a nuisance is what it is.
Quality over quantity, I know you know this in your marrow.
Make It so that it at least has a semblance of an app that is here to educate me rather than eat away at my time.

Massive improvement in app interface in just 6 months time.
I’ve been using the app for over 6 months now, most of the bugs have been fixed, the new live content does get uploaded sooner. Tech team listens to most of the queries and resolves it with great speed. The teachers are obviously a class apart and teach with great detail and are available to clear doubts. Good going team!

Improvements needed in the app interface.
Multiple questions have incorrect answers, and or explanations. User interface has not been designed to ease the student’s prep. The bookmark button is way on the other corner, you accidently press pause very often. Bookmark button should be close to the next question button. All questions book marked should be accessible in a folder. An option to select “guess answer” should be there as well to get a guess rate analysis at the end. Dr nasa’s surgery videos are really bad, way too long, not edited, and horribly distracting way of delivering content . He uses excess words and keeps saying “sir in every sentence which breaks your flow. Please edit the content. Finally a speed bump is required to atleast 2.5x or 2.75x. Thank you.

I like the faculty but the problem is the content of the notes doesn’t match what they are teaching. Pictures are missing sometime even content is missing from the notes.I expected marrow like notes as they had many previous apps to look at and provide the best of what they provided. There is little to no space for writing in the notes. I also hate the column pattern for notes gives it a textbook feel

The best content for prep. Have been with cerebellum from the start and it has come a long way. The faculty and tech team have all made this app a beautiful source.
Fav aspect : constant efforts by all the faculty and the tech.
Fav feature : latest notes update in the app is very useful and efficient for me to view notes and video simultaneously.
Need for improvement : qbank in both content and interface.

Technical issue
There is some problem with the technical team.. I have been complaining again and again yet some or other issue persists whichmakes it hard to use the app. Firstly whenever I pause any video and again start it.. the video starts from somewhere else.. this problem occurred after recent update. Secondly it doesn’t even matter wether the video is on pause or play the video starts whenever it wants without me switching it to play button.

Bad userinterface and service and care support
I only bought it coz i loved the teacher but regretted it ever after Very bad user interface…. Causes issue to understand buy plan or understand the in app features bad customercare service they try to help you bht i guess they dont have resources they dont call back even they say they will do waiting time to call is around 30 min i said and the last call i had with the care they said its you mistake we cant help you i know its my mistake you could have been more generous as a team which is in market of teaching at atleast not cutt the call during i was trying to understand and they only have 1 girl in there customer service

Poor response from team
Its been 2.5 months since the launch of this app. I had prebboked on 15 of February seeing all the promises and hype. I do not regret that but the app is very poor like in the ios version
1)There is no option to lower the video quality .The video plays in 1080p by default so it consumes data like crazy . I do not have wifi and i have recharged like plenty no. Of times just for the videos
2) No option of video download still its been like 2.5 months now still basic feature isn’t available
3)There are bugs in the app while reading notes still but that is bearable but this video quality and download is not at all.

WORST TECH AND SUPPORT TEAM
Despite weeks of the app being launched,there is absolutely no update for IOS. It takes 15 Gb plus data EVERY DAY to watch videos and there’s NO OPTION TO DOWNLOAD. The in app notes are so small,CANNOT EVEN FULL SCREEN OR GET SOFT COPY OF NOTES. There is still NO LANDSCAPE MODE OR SPLIT SCREEN OPTION in IOS. The app keeps crashing in between,the tests have so many bugs,giving diff rank or time limit,custom module in qbank repeats same questions and to attend live lectures is another headache. The btr workbook is taking forever to be delivered despite being printed and there’s no reply from support team to our queries. The faculty is the only reason I am holding on and have paid thousands of rupees of mine.

Had expected better from user interface! (BTR ONLINE user)
There is no option to download a video lecture and study at low data speed. Also no option to select video quality/size of the lecture in Megabite, as a result it eats up most of my data and that too with multiple buffering and hanging. App is no where close to it’s peer like that of marrow. Just one option of downloading lectures in app could solve the issue temporarily. It’s a humble request kindly make it available. Scaling and orientation issues.
Might be the first review here. The app has some issues making it unusable. Firstly it doesn’t stay in landscape mode. It quickly switches to portrait mode when launched in landscape mode. Secondly there are serious scaling issues. In portrait mode, the right end of the video is cropped, as the aspect ratio is not adjusting to portrait ratios. Thirdly reading notes while video plays leaves a video description tray at the bottom of screen in portrait orientation that cannot be suspended giving the notes not even 5 lines of space to read, it’s unreadable. The unoptimised aspect ratio which is cropped in portrait mode doesn’t give access to playback settings and the vertical aspect ratio leaves much less space for notes.
I believe that the inability to switch to landscape mode is causing all these.
