Flaws of procreate dreams
1) it doesn’t have marquee tools like in procreate and photoshop. (which is a crucial tool to tracing and maintaining consistent drawing in animation.
2) it does Export .MP4 videos which is incompatible to be shared through WhatsApp. (What is the point of animating if we can’t share a rendered video files through other social media apps.
3) it doesn’t has the ability to move/reposition multiple drawings/animated frames from one position to another position inside the canvas (not talking about moving multiple Frames in the timeline)
4) it doesn’t allow us to move and adjust position of frames/Drawings during the Drawing modes.
Developers already created the procreate app without the ability of adding without adding sound effects or multiple track in timelines and does not know what we animator’s needs are I’m procreate dreams.

Procreate app : honest review 👍🏻
The app is really good, it does need a lot of exploring to find certain options and so it does have a bit of a learning curve. It would be helpful it there are more updates to the app like symmetry guides ( or magnetics) that help with moving assets for recording an animation. A lasso tool will also be a pretty good addition and make the app even more optimal!! Overall it does need a bit of growing in terms of updates but apart from that it’s amazing to use and the output is fantastic. Currently using it for my art projects!

Auto circle and straight line missing
My experience has been great with the app. However I miss the hold for auto circle and straight line is missing. It’s difficult to draw a perfect straight line or perfect circle like in procreate. I hope the future update will be bring the feature to this app.

Worst app for animation
What is wrong with developers ? I bought this app yesterday and found that there was no lasso tools or ruler present in this software. Brushes are also limited and there is no option for stabilise it. And for the the worst part it is showing me bugs on the top off that after exiting split screen i was unable to draw on the paper , cause it shows nothing . You are taking 2000 inr at least give some basic features .
I am truly disappointed and dissatisfied with this app even flipa clip is better than this .
Hey developers please help us by fixing these problems and adding basic tools

Request to add drawing assist and allowing us to draw straight lines
Procreate dreams is a great app i just hope the developers fix this drawback - before I used procreate dreams I used procreate, and I love having the option of holding Down your Apple Pencil to create straight lines and perfect ellipses, but this option isn’t there in procreate dreams.
If you developers could add this feature along with drawing assist, this app would be one of the best softwares to animate 2D and I love how the UI is so easy to understand .

Disappointed with Missing Essential Features
Procreate Dreams lacks some essential features, making the workflow frustrating. There are no snapping or alignment tools, so objects have to be positioned manually, which slows down the process. Transparent background export is also missing, making it unusable for motion graphics and overlay animations. Basic shape tools like circles and rectangles are not available, so everything has to be drawn manually. For the price, I expected a more complete tool, but it feels unfinished.

I really like dreams, but something’s are misssing, I know pixel perfect animation is getting update but moving the camera is what i wish. With these 2 changes dreams might as just be as popular and award winning as procreate!!! I am regretting. I purchase the wrong product for creating animation, it’s not for beginners or not also for intermediate, you can’t create a full list animation in it because it like many required tools. There is no important tools
Move tool, selection tool, frame copy tool like that. Important tools which are necessary for frame by frame animation are missing. They should add those tools. I think it’s in developing condition. So I suggest you to don’t buy it, before it’s fully developed.

Unlike procreate(the original) this one procreate dreams has no proper selection tool, drawing shapes is difficult you can’t perfect them, brushes can’t be stabilised, selecting objects or a part of drawing to animate is really difficult. My favorite animation app ever!
I literally love this app! Everything is just so perfect, the ui is so simple and precise. I switched from adobe fresco to procreate dreams so, I think that I made a reallyyyyyy BIG upgrade. There’s still some issues that I wanted to share, i.e.-
Whenever we draw a shape like circle, it’s obvious that we can’t make a perfect one so whenever we try to draw the circle and hold it then, it just become a perfect one, we can make ovals, square, rectangle and many more shapes! I would Ike to recommended the developer to add that feature to make our tasks easy.

Missing tools
This is a good animation app for iPad but some basic and essential tools are missing or I couldn’t find them such as lasso selection tool , cut, copy, paste, transform tool . These can help me to reuse my existing drawings to animate quickly. I hope it will be added soon.

Pro Create Dreams is a must have for any animator. It’s just so simple to use, a week in, already in the production of a animated short for children. Good start but imp missing feature
If it has to be exponentially powerful than other apps then feature of applying warp and distort should be allowed on groups as well. That will make things possible like for example, building a scene without perspective and later on distorting it to make it fit to a certain perspective.

A bug has been detected and expecting two must have features.
This software has really versatile sectors to be impressed with though some of the basic features are missing hope will be available in future updates but I have found a BUG when I use apple pencil with hover enabled, dreams gets shut down (crashes) when I touch with the pencil tip at the beginning point (0 sec) of the tract on timeline sometimes.
Procreate Dreams team is requested to provide Character Rigging or Puppet Warp and Camera Parallax features. Please try to add these features.

I had several issues with this app I couldn’t find where was the lasso tool and how to fix crashes as well I don't think hiding things everything in things thats not related to the things im trying to find like hiding onion skin in checking seconds thing make sense I would rather have a bulky menu than a weird one I could make a lot more using ibis paint and Alightmotion

This app has been nothing but disappointing
The promotion was genius. All content creators saying the same thing. Now it’s clearer to see, this seems like an extremely rushed and incomplete product. All those beautiful animations we saw as examples of the capabilities of these programs are I am pretty sure NOT POSSIBLE and would not be after months of MAJOR updates as this program is In the current stage.

A lot of potential
Hi I am Sharan, I am an animation aspirant, I have used a lot of the mainstream animation apps which are extremely expensive but I liked the unique features of dreams despite it lacking a lot of the features these industry level applications offer, but I do feel that there should be more features considering it’s an app meant for animation.

Amazing app, but need more stability
I’m not sure if it’s because I’m using an old iPad Pro, but the drawing board freezes very often after reaching several frames. Then works fine for few more frames after restarting it. But this keeps repeating. But brush is lag free which is a great plus.

I have an iPad Air and the animations are not exporting on this iPad. It is stuck on 2% for the last 2 hours. Such a waste of my time. If this doesn’t work, refund the money I paid for it, cuz I paid for a working app. If this was not compatible on an iPad Air, why release it on that device.

In drawing flip mode , please provide selection and transform tool on top bar so that we don’t have to exit drawing full screen to timeline view . I think u got my point or provide a editing tool on a floating bar as like flip through bar . You can also take inspiration from Callipeg app
