Extensive Spam Phone calls

PayWithRing Loan

I took a loan from Tata Neu, but I am unable to view the complete loan details. I cannot see how many EMIs I have already paid or the remaining EMIs clearly.
When I go to the Loan section in the Neu app and select the “Pay with Ring” loan option, the app does not navigate properly back and forth. It also does not show complete EMI details, payment options, foreclosure/closure options, or proper loan statements.
This makes it very difficult to track and manage the loan. Please fix these issues and improve the loan section usability in the app.

Very slow and unresponsive

I am using it for upi payment using Tata nue rupay credit card. The app loading and opening time is very high. Also most frustrating is that after scaning a qr code, this app tries to find offers. This is not required for daily small transactions like vegetable vendors, etc.

Problem with big basket cart on tata neu app

There is is problem with the bigbasket on tata neu that when i search for some product on big basket and then add that product or multiple different products in the cart it shows the total amount at the bottom and number of items in the cart logo at the top right corner but when i move to next screen for checkout it shows that my cart is empty. So i am unable to order something that i search but if i order something that i am seeing on the home page of big basket that shows in the cart. Please rectify this glitch as i am unable ot order anything by searching and adding in cart..!

Full of bugs

Feels sad that such a reputed Indian brand and that too having prestigious in-house IT consulting firm has produced this shoddily working app.
Sharing UPI screenshots is such a basic thing that should work flawlessly doesn’t work in this app. The option to choose image/pdf, although nonsensical, but let’s say provided for some reason should work at least but alas it just ask and then nothing happens. After 2-3 attempts the prompt itself stops appearing. So customer just keeps pressing share button and nothing happens.
Insurance cashback is 5% but to avail it the app doesn’t let pay via Neu card. It just shows pay via UPI. After multiple retries and clearing cart 5-6 times then all of sudden card option appeared. I paid one insurance bill but on next insurance bill the card option disappeared.
All in all the app tries to offer lots of functionality but internally things are broken and waste customers time. Full of incoherent functionality in backend.
Kindly do a thorough testing of app instead of expecting customer do it for you. With latter you will end up with negative reputation.

Disappointing Experience with Tata Neu App

I've been using the Tata Neu App for a while now, and I must say that I'm thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Here are a few reasons why:
1. Exorbitant Prices: The prices of all products on the app are significantly higher compared to other platforms. This makes it a costly affair for customers like me.
2. False Promises: The app shows offers on bill payments with the Tata Neu card, but when you try to make a payment, it says that this payment mode is not available for bill payments. This is not only frustrating but also misleading.
3. Poor User Interface: The app's user interface is clunky and difficult to navigate. It's clear that the developers haven't put much thought into creating a seamless user experience.
4. Abysmal Customer Support: The customer support team is unresponsive and unhelpful. I've reached out to them multiple times with my concerns, but I've never received a satisfactory response.
5. Transaction wise Reward summary is not being provided
Overall, I would not recommend the Tata Neu App to anyone. The high prices, false promises, poor user interface, and abysmal customer support make it a disappointing and frustrating experience. Tata needs to seriously revamp their app and customer support to make it a viable option for customers.

All-in-one app that does nothing well

I really wanted to like Tata Neu, but using it feels like running a marathon through quicksand. The app tries to combine shopping, payments, groceries, travel, and banking and ends up doing none of them smoothly. Every action seems to take forever to load, and half the time it either freezes or crashes.
The UI looks decent, but it’s cluttered and laggy. Searching for anything takes ages, and even simple tasks like checking NeuCoins or making a payment can turn into a patience test. Notifications? Constant. Performance? Barely there.
It’s disappointing coming from a brand like Tata. The idea of a “super app” is great on paper, but in practice, this one just feels bloated and unfinished.
If you want to get something done quickly open any other app.

Bad Behaviour: Delivery Person

I had ordered medicine through 1mg today morning. The delivery person (Vivek Rapido) came as scheduled but kept on sitting on his motorbike and asking me to collect from him on the road. When I told him to deliver at my home on First Floor. He refused initially saying that first floor is not written on the address and wouldn’t deliver. I told him may do as he likes. Then he came to my house but kept on checking on his mobile something. On asking he said he was confirming payment. I told him it’s prepaid and written on the packet. He ultimately handed over the packet.
Such ill trained people bring a bad name to the organisation. Please train your people.

Slow app

Slow app and slow services by Tata brands. Neu points and cards earnings changed not worth it. Neu flash delivery by bbnow takes 60mins and above cold products delivered hot. They’re team call and just take feedback and still the services remain poor slow app and slow delay services. Brands Individual apps still work better. Even after sharing details over email & phone calls service has become worse. Now their delivery executives have co worker to help in delivery the actual deliver person would be delivering somewhere else and another person would be at your place to deliver so dangerous and unprofessional. Quick delivery is a failure nothing gets delivered within 10mins. Their reply is worse than an Ai. They’re downgrading while others upgrade.

Transaction issues

Using this app for a while now great service. Recent there was a issue with flight booking while selecting seats I made selection for two adjacent seats however for some reason at time of boarding we were allotted different seats even when we paid extra for those seats. Airline refunded the amount however still no credit is received for same yet. As per airline process is completed from their end with whom should we connect for such issue

Disappointed with UPI Transparency & User Control on Tata Neu

The Tata Neu app has serious limitations when it comes to financial transparency. There’s no option to download or export UPI transaction history, and the same issue applies to transactions made using the Tata Neu HDFC Credit Card. This makes basic expense tracking and reconciliation extremely difficult for users.
To make matters worse, the app offers no customization or detailed breakdown of transactions.
And as if that wasn’t enough, screenshots are now blocked, taking away the only quick workaround users had to save or share proof of payments.
For an app that promotes itself as a unified digital platform, this lack of basic financial control and transparency is unacceptable.
Urgent improvements needed:
•Download/export options for UPI and credit card transactions (PDF, Excel)
•Detailed and filterable transaction views
•Option to allow screenshots, especially for payment and billing records
Tata Neu needs to prioritize usability and transparency if it truly wants to be a “super app.”

Third rate app, third rate service

The app depicts to be a super premium app but behaves like a third rate scammy app trying to push personal loans and get me into buying bonds. They would have more success if the app was better and if the Tata related stores would actually have items in stock instead of taking orders and then cancelling them as items are out of stock. If I somehow open the personal loans page or if I open the buy gold page, the entire app would freeze except the option that gets me to accidentally buy the product. This is unacceptable from a Tata product. Very disappointed in the app and related products

Weak customer service related to app

I was trying to access TSSS employee benefit link through tata neu app. Upon clicking the app wanted me to reverify official mail id although it is already registered. Once the button of re-verification is clicked a popup message flashes up sting the the official mail id is already registered. Still the TSSS option does not get activated and thereby unable to get access to TSSS benefits. Further, I have raised the issue to the customer service. But there is a new problem. Once a ticket is raised it gets automatically closed within 2hrs without giving any resolution. Also there is no prior intimation like other apps on closing ticket. I had to check the status from the app. Overall the app is disappointing, useless, pathetic. Only the interface looks cool.

Very Disappointed with Croma’s Product Quality and After-Sales Support

I purchased an air cooler from Croma on 24th April 2025, expecting a reliable product and decent after-sales service. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
The cooler stopped working on its own by 5th May, within just 10 days of usage. I raised a complaint on 6th May, and a technician visited on 7th May, diagnosing a faulty motor that needed replacement. Since then, there has been no resolution at all.
Despite multiple follow-ups via customer care and email, all I get is the same generic reply: “please wait 24–48 hours.” Now it has been over 13 days, and still no technician has visited, nor has the product been fixed or replaced.
To make matters worse, when I checked my complaint status, I saw that two complaints were marked as ‘resolved’ and one as ‘cancelled’—without any repair, call, or confirmation from my end. I did not cancel anything, and nothing has been resolved.
I even contacted Croma via Instagram, and while they responded by saying they’d escalate the matter, there’s still no meaningful progress.
This is an unacceptable experience from a brand associated with Tata. The product quality has been poor, and the after-sales service even worse.
I strongly urge Croma to take accountability and fix their processes. I expect a proper resolution—either a repair, replacement, or refund. This level of negligence is not what I expected from such a reputed brand.

First I applied for Tata Neu HDFC card due to Neu coins on rupay transaction. After using it to get 6K coins I decided to buy a cooler from Croma online through this app. Transaction failed while paying I approached Croma they refund the cash and then separately approached Tata Neu through mail , chat bot is dumb as the policy maker of Tata group except late Ratan Tata sir. Got settle in about 15-20 days. Since this was long time so bought the cooler between the period by digital cash only. Under home appliance, I bought it based on litre capacity but when it come to home it is written commercial use and it is quite big so I applied for return but they say not possible after 15 days so I don't have option to use it since return window also closed. It did not work, again asked Croma so they sent a team to repair. After repair, being a commercial cooler it made heavy noise such that you can’t even talk or watch movie or sleep. So I asked for return again but they denied saying policy of non-returnable on quality issue. So look how the SCAM going. Poor services of Tata Neu and Croma.

App not user friendly

The Tata Neu credit card could be good and the offers too but never have the app worked in flow… or even open properly … the UPI is always stuck to a screen or always the supporting the vendor or the company to accept money from the credit card which we end up paying from debit account
The app is the worst … whole app is filled with advertisement and promotion but not easy to even check details of ur credit card see the statement or transactions nothing it’s just too painful to use the app… atleast could make a separate app for managing the credit card with easy interface or atleast keep a complete user friendly interface in this so called all in one app

Tata Neu

Not a good app. Worst experience is while purchasing medicines. If you have 2-3 patients at home, then your problem gets multiplied. In such case, there is no ease of reorder. And once you make payment, cancellation is a Herculean task. Another challenge is purchasing medicines for your parents if they don’t stay with the purchaser and purchaser has to claim reimbursement for the same because there is no provision to get original bills as the same is sent at the delivery address and not at the address of the person who is paying. Even for purchasing Grocery etc., no ease of shipping.
It’s sad that even after spending billions of rupees in Tata Neu Super App, experience of purchasing medicines is far from satisfactory.

User Experience- Nah

Expectations are more considering that other apps in the same business segment are far better. As a customer do I need to select my location every time I open the App. Surprisingly it doesn’t Default to your Default Address Location but rather defaults to Mumbai. What??? Making a payment requires you to have full network otherwise it would just go into infinite loop of attempting to process. Hope you don’t expect me to switch to 5G just to make payment on your App. I still haven’t been able to figure out how to provide feedback on a delivery. Selecting Stars, putting Comment and Clicking Submit works with most of the Apps, guess you are way different.

Lack of Basic UPI Account Management Features

I am extremely disappointed with the Tata Neu app’s UPI feature. The inability to remove a linked bank account is both inconvenient and concerning. Users should have complete control over their financial data, including the ability to delink accounts when needed.
Adding to the frustration, customer support creates new email threads for every response, making it impossible to track conversations effectively. Despite multiple follow-ups, there’s no resolution, only vague assurances about a future upgrade with no timeline provided.
This is a basic functionality that every UPI-enabled app should offer. I hope Tata Neu addresses this issue urgently, as it severely impacts user experience and trust.

Gift card ordeal

I bought Nykaa gift card of 1394/- on 5th Jan. But I didn’t receive it , I checked spam and other folders but still no luck. I tried sending to other mail ids but didn’t receive there also. I reached customer care , they took two days to understand, after that they said we are sending again and asked me to recheck , I still didn’t receive. I reached out again , again they took few days to understand then they said we are resending please check , I checked still, didn’t receive. Now it’s been 11 days , everyday they send again , I recheck , I don’t receive, I talk to customer care , and they send again. That has been my life from 11 days. I requested them to send on text message or refund but all they do is resend on mail which I didn’t receive. I have made biggest mistake of my life buying gift card from these dolts. Now all I have left in life is talk to customer care and recheck mail id for just 1394/- Thanks Tata Neu for this nightmare experience.

Worst service by croma stoy

Worst croma service I ever had, please dont purchase any product from chroma stores ,the service is very pathetic, i went to purchase a tv on 10 nov , store guys promised that product will deliver within a day or two but maximum TAT would be 18th nov by giving this false promise they made me to purchase, i waited for 2-3 day no one contacted,i had called call centre got worst response stating it will only deliver on 18th nov not before that. Finally i got the product after multiple follow ups with call centre, and now no one visited to install the Tv , I followed up multiple times still awaiting for the installation. Croma sales guys do false statements, they may say our service is fast any time you can get service things like that but this is very opposite , these statements only until you buy product , once you purchase you will be in a trap .. if any issue arise you have to run behind croma… Moral please dont buy any product which takes time to deliver . i purchased it just because of brand tata name and these guys ruining its reputation..

Very time taking Billing Process

Particularly croma store at Shyamal.. is taking very long time to bill to attend the customer.
I am usually visiting this store because my office is in same building. When you visit the store, everytime I have to first hunt the sales person. Nobody will come to ask you what you want to buy..
Today I waited the adaptor section with the hope that somebody will visit me most of the sales person was busy with talking to each other or phone.
I ask one of the sales person after selecting product then I got the answer, lady is busy with billing once she finished you will be addressed. After a wait for 5-10 mins same guy gave me adapter so why the hell he keep me waiting..
At the billing counter, I waited for 10 mins again to finish the one billing. Then I asked for another biller she said he is coming wait for some time. When I shouted on her then she is calling another guy who was just beside us and I know he was busy..
I have experienced best service from Croma from other stores but this store is pathetic.

Not used app much, but the My Orders section needs improvement

I haven't used the app much but it needs lots of improvements. 1. The app is buggy and doesn't responds couple of times 2. One of the most important section is My Orders, where user can view and track their orders. And under that, it's more important and user friendly to be able to view most recent orders and their details. Now, in your app, you instead show product categories to choose from where your order fits into. Seriously???. Who is this stupid app designer with no common sense at all?? Why should a user first decide the order category and then be able to view the order. Its better to have Order categories under different section under My Orders, and show recent orders section first. Seriously, the app is pathetic because of the above mentioned issues and need to be fixed soon

Great idea, unrefined experience

While the idea of the super app is an amazing thing with all the synergies coming from the multiple brands under Tata, the experience of using the app is at best mildly disappointing to downright frustrating. The stuttering transitions, inadvertent crashes and outrageous crashes can get so annoying as to make you want to chuck your phone at the wall or simply switch to the standalone apps themselves which then for some reason don’t let you use your neu points. Adding features like stories is a great idea but not at the cost of the core app experience. This app could be so much better but is held back by what’s at most a lackadaisical attitude towards the user experience.

Worst app// HIGH PRICED// FRAUD APP

It’s really a worst all and Tata nue app does not have any good discounts unlike other flights , hotels , big baskets , Croma really disgusting offers which a really worst even than comparing with others. I guess walking on store to buy is much cheaper than this online shopping on big baskets. Croma also very expensive, reliance digital and others shops are much cheaper than croma now with no offers really being worst and highly expensive so it will move out from market soon. No discounts on flight and hotels really worst and waste of money. The most worst and disgusting part is UPI it won’t works most of the time keeps hanged and automatically log out from app ! If scanned any QR codes it got failed in 95% transactions! So total experience with TATA NUE IS WORST AND REALLY DISAPPOINTED! Try using others better and smooth apps and save time! It’s a highly non recommended app !!!!

ZERO Customer Support & Worst UPI

I was very much frustrated with the Customer support. I can’t able to change my email address in the App, so reached the CS via email. They have told me the steps to follow, which i tried earlier and faced an issue. So i shared a video recording of the same. And after that ZERO response. I haven’t received anything from them in the past ten days. Shooting up multi follow up emails after that are waste of my time.
I even raised a separate ticket via email whether they can able to reach me with the solution is a real bad of mine. It “is” a very worst experience I faced with Tata Neu. I don’t know why this application from this popular company giving such a worst product. At least giving a short notice about the feature whether they are fixing an issue or developing that feature would be enough for an end user to hold some amount of time till the resolution. But giving NO RESPONSE is unacceptable.
And in UPI integration, I can’t able to check my bank balance. I de-registered and registered the UPI multiple times but I can’t able to complete a transaction or check the balance. Every time I try i only see, “Something went wrong, please try again after sometime”. Seriously? What went wrong?
If the marketing or CS reading this, please do check and give us some information. A humble request. And please don’t reply us to reach to app support team via email. I fed up.
I hope all the issues that myself & end users facing on the app will get sorted out. Looking for the best outcome. Thanks!

Developer issue

See the loyalty of the customers for Tata that they don’t want to complain Tata rather the developer, and it’s true when you hire quota wala engineer on less salary or sometimes stupids who boast of being engineer and demand high salary but unable to write the spelling. So being an ardent fan of Tata product which has inculcated by my father who used to say Tata Sui se hawai jahaz banata hai, and used to buy pipes of Tata brand only around 50 years ago. Now what has happened to the people of Tata, so stupid and inefficient that unable to develop the app since last two years, every day there is a new problem - Is that the reason that you named it Neu. Sir don’t waste the name which has taken more than 100 years to create a business religion name Tata. Or else pls hand ove this project to me I promise to do it in 6-8 months time with my small team. It took me a courage and 6 months to complain and write the review. Pls don’t worry about my spelling as I am 40+ and have vision problem.

Very good app for grocery and everything

I really enjoy using Tata Neu for Bigbasket Croma and UPI payment.
Please try to make app little faster and reduce number of steps for various transactions. There should be Favourites list, when you hold app icon on the screen it should have scan and pay option like Paytm provides. Homepage should not change too frequently, it makes things confusing.
Please provide option of cancelling pickup or change slot for pickup. Calling customer support for such a small task is waste of resources.
At my location, there are just 2 slots for delivery everyday which is not sufficient. Please stop giving multiple printed invoices for add on orders. Not good for environment.
Bigbasket users should get some nice bag or tall trolley with innovative designs with racks for different type of items and number lock. You can take security deposit amount for it so that things get delivered even when we are not available at home. Before items get packed, there should be an option to edit quantity or remove 1 item if something is ordered less or ordered by mistake. Returning it once received is an extra cost of Bigbasket. Ready to support the app, but i am not getting support for my issues

I want to support made in India app, but the app developers should also understand the importance of performance. I am not able to ise tata neu (upi) and also when using bb now via tata neu it's getting stuck on payments page. I tried removing the app and reinstalling it and other troubleshooting methods also, but no use. When clicked on app support it's throwing error What should i do even if i want to support made in India app ? Your chat support also is of no use as it gives predefined responses and it's very difficult to reach out customer care executive. I raised the complaint via email. they asked for details, and closed the complaint quickly. And now when i replied with a detailed video, they have not responded back. I mean for closing the complaint they were extremely quick and now when details are shared, they are not even responding. Horrible support, how can i support made in india if they are not even supporting to resolve issues. There is no support from support team. Every-time they ask to share details over email. I have already provided all details, still no resolution. So i am fed-up now, uninstalled the app. Very very poor support, really.

Inconsiderate behaviour of the store staff

We purchase refrigerator from croma store in Jamnagar on 9th May and they schedule our delivery for 10th May by 9.00 pm. We request them to deliver by evening as we are staying in defence area and due to security reasons they don’t allow civil vehicles in the night but they very firmly refused. Next day on 10th we wait for pur product but till 8.30pm we really don’t know where it is because there us no intimation from the store and when are calling nobody was picking up the phone. Atlast we went to the store again and ask for the delivery but that unprofessional and rude salesman Deepak he doesn’t bother and replied abhi 9 nahi baja hai wait till 9 after that only i can do something. I think nobody has trained him properly how to deal snd talk with the customers.
I think going to Croma and purchasing from this store is our worst decision. Next time i will never buy anything from Croma. One of my worst experience.

Pathetic Service

I’ve been using this app for quite a long time and even after multiple issues I never raised any concern considering it a new app which is making place in the market. However, I’m frustrated now with multiple issues and incidents that happened with me after ordering from TataNeu and specially from Bigbasket. Most of the time it shows no items found even though that particular category is having items which can be seen after multiple tries. Sometimes it shows error occurred and other time the app itself doesn’t load.
The bigbasket order never gets delivered on the time slot selected. Once I selected time slot as 8-9 pm and the order got delivered next day at 10-11 am. I literally kept waiting for the items until 1 am as they promised to deliver it by EOD. The delays are so frequent that many times I had to order the same items from some other app because of urgent need.
The customer support team never resolves the issue and they are just always in the hurry to close the conversation. I was promised that my complaint would be escalated but no wonder it was a false promise as next time again I faced the same issue and customer representative was not helping at all.
I do not even want to give one star to this app as I’m seriously frustrated and disappointed with it. After giving so many chances I finally lost my patience. I was a regular customer for last 1.5 years but I don’t think I’d be the same frequent buyer as I was before. They fail to value customer and their time and no wonder people are shifting to other applications.

Hello . I tried to install the tata neu app last year itself & i did but the app was very slow , i thought since the app is newly launched might be the reason. So yesterday again i tried to login my account but the app was very slow especially when i try to juggle between the options available inside, also i placed an order from westside , the payment process itself took so long, i had to close the app 2 to 3 times to get my payment completed. The concept is really cool but app is quite a bit slow especially the interface compared to the peers. I really liked the concept of bringing sustainability into this especially 5% discount if we can exchange the product from the nearby outlets if we want to exchange & also returning our e-waste to the croma stores for the proper disposal, such initiatives are really good & need of the hour.
I would like to add a option like , the customer can opt for delivery without carry bags or brown paper covers instead the delivery person can carry the parcel in a bag & deliver it to the customer so that it can indirectly help us to put less pressure on the resources. Also try to bring up the option of recycling old clothes through your stores where you can collect the old clothes & bring life to the old clothes by recycling & reusing it, just a suggestion as we all know how water thirsty the cotton industry is.

Not getting the serial number of Sandisk I expand 250 6GB pen drive purchased from Tataneu

Not getting the serial number of Sandisk I Xpand 256 GB pen drive purchased from Tataneu on 5th January, 2024. I have purchased the above pen drive, and I was sent an invoice without the serial number. I am struggling since several days to obtain the serial number of the pen drive in order to register it. However, under one pretext or the other, my complaint is continuously closed and lame excuses given that they cannot reach me on the phone, even though I repeatedly tell them to please send me the serial number on my email. This is extremely unethical and the customer is cheated. It seems that a product purchased through Tataneu has been sold without a serial number. A H Doctor

Neu coins expire

This is ridiculous. Neo coin has been expired. When it got used. This is a major issue. My money got wasted. I got new coins as an benefit of buying something but it got expired by itself when it’s not there time to get expired when I buy something that there is no logic in that so that they can get expired. If I return you something and you were returning my new coin so you have to give me a proper date or proper time period to redeem that. It doesn’t seem like that when I used and you give me a refund and the new expired date has been given to that date which you have given me the new coins. So this is not a logic we use Tata because we trust Mr Ratan Tata, he’s very respectable in industrial we trusted him inspired from him so much that’s why we get in touch with. We are most influenced by Tata product. This is the main reason behind that or else if that is not behind the Tata products we are not going to buy them.

Cumbersome and complicated Ui and is sales centric not customer centric

The product is more a marketing catalogue offering all products tat wants to sell. As customer you can only place an order. There is no easy way to track one’s order or look what you have ordered in the past. There is no icon for track you order. For eg I can access my orders only when I click offers in electronics tab. That too is not straight forward. Whoever has written business requirement for the product has focused only on Tata requirements throwing the customer under the bus.
The product accepts order when the product is out of stock. Then 5-10 days later they call and say the product is out of stock and refund the money. So for 5-10days Tata is using my money for it working capital requirements interest free. This is a big scam. Easily Tata generates lakhs of rupees of cash flow for its business with any interest. As a customer I lose my cash flow and interest. Not only they are generating cash flow on others money but they are depriving me the interest due for my hard earned money.
This clearly indicates the priority of the company. Do not care about your customer ,just sell.

Black mark on TATA name

This is the worst shopping/ multi purpose app i have ever used, the app is too slow, requires very good internet to work,still doesn’t most of the time. The unbelievable part is that the app is owned by a company which also owns the countries largest software company(TCS), i believe you should take inspiration from CRED or similar apps which are smooth to function , easy to operate. If the company had utilised the money wasted on IPL ads on improving the app, more users would have been there. Even TATA clique which is a subset of this app has more downloads than this even after so much advertising, i think u should take the hint. This is the second time i have downloaded this app after initially using it at launch, had to delete seeing how bad it was, its almost a year since that and i thought this time things would be better. But its just pure pathetic and just waste of time. Deleting it again. I wrote this because I respect TATA as a company, don’t shame yourself with such poor workmanship.

I am a Tata fan and have been using Big Basket comfortably. However the Tata Neu App needs a lot of work. I downloaded it yesterday and am already tired of it’s shortcomings. I placed my first order of Pharmacy Medicine and the rider showed Delivery Attempted when I had been home and no one had come. The rider also did not answer his phone on 4 calls. Thereafter trying to contact Tata Neu team to tell them this became a nightmare. The Chat icon disappeared and there was no way to chat. The App would repeatedly show my location as Mumbai when I was registered and present in Lucknow and I had given Tata Neu permission for ALWAYS on Location. The App has no way for a client to communicate with the Tata company fulfilling the order. I finally called the 1Mg line for placing new orders for medicines and put in my complaint. However the rider is still unavailable and there is no information if my order will be delivered.

App functionality is slow

I’m a huge fan of Tata and any of their products. I’m writing this review in a hope to make this amazing app better, App is very slow, address option won’t allow us to select from addresses saved in profile when placing order and we have to enter address all over again. Viewing cart is not at all easy, I added watch and perfume and I had to browse all the way to perfumes to view perfume cart and watches to view watch cart. UPI payment took more than 2min to send payment. I ran into error that product is not available for a lot of perfumes, filter should be added to hide products that are not available. Overall, the performance needs to be improved.

Worst app

Tried bb now from tata Neu first of all it keeps taking my location to Mumbai even though I am someplace else after resolving this on my own a new problem arises the typing speed slows drown drastically even though it was working fine before even using it in different apps the keyboard works just fine now after typing very slowly I somehow place order but guess what it’s been 45+ mins no update on order then tried the customer care then I had to go through telling a robot that I need to talk to a customer care executive instead of telling me my order id then the bot said in 1 minute the customer executive will be there 5 minute no reply if I knew I had to go though so much hassle I would use other apps better than this one

I am loving it with one stop shop!!!

I liked the idea of having one app for all..I have been using Tata products for years and now getting to use Neu has changed my perspective that giants like Tata can also move quickly in tech world.I have ordered my first IPhone from Neu and it was a seamless experience and I trust Tata for authenticity.
One feedback though can you make the cart visible on home page itself ..if we have added something in Croma or say BB we have to every time go to the specific section to find the cart and it does not reflect even when we reach Croma or BB at once - we need to search for it.
It will be helpful to have Neu Coins credited after a week of delivery. (I know the window is for 15days as people do return stuff),but if you see from user perspective they tend to use this app more regularly and need those coins for next order for shopaholic like me!!

Worst & Fraud App from TATA Group

I was approved 40k Personal Loan , And E-Mandate of 10 Lakhs was asked 2 Times and i Approved it and after completing E-Mandate Process it showed money will be disbursed in 3 Days but when i contacted customer care they told they will raise ticket but later evening i recieved email that my profile doesnt meet their internal policy. What the hell is this. When you take E-Mandate and you approve certain amount and you make promise that money will be disbursed in 3 Days then What happened Suddenly ? This Shows its Clearly Fraud App that collects user data & No Intensions of Lending Loan/Money. Really Disappointed thinking this Company is Owned By Tata Group who does much for our country. afterall its Business and Anything can Happen. My request to Everyone is Stay away from this app if you want any kind of personal loan try other trusted apps after checking reviews. I am deleting this app now.

Unable to make payments and place orders!!!

Despite complaining multiple times, sharing screen recordings, calling customer service, I am unable to make payment and place an order. The customer service earlier used to keep assuring me that the complaint would be resolved asap but now for the last 15 days, they too have stopped responding. All the basic as well as advanced troubleshooting has been done by me (by reading about troubleshooting on google) but still the problem persists! I have been told that all this would be resolved in the next update but your app is not coming out with an updated version

High pricing even after discounts … not many voucher options available

Tata has always been my family’s preferred shopping store be it Croma or Westside or Tata Neu.
Unfortunately the groceries shopping (Big Basket) at Tata Neu is priced very high and even after discounts the prices are higher than Dmart and Star Quik and not many discount vouchers are also available. These are regular commodities that we use, I spend 1000 and above every time I shop for groceries and the Neu points I receive is barely anything to help with my next shopping which should be around 2 weeks from today, so then I look at Dmart or Star Quik as options since I get better discounts and offers on their apps.
If Tata is able to work with better offers or voucher options it will help in making this a one stop store for all groceries as off now I use 2 other apps and where ever I get better offers on products I make purchases from that app and split the shopping.
Even if Tata could come up with Annual memberships where members receive special discounted prices like Big Basket used to offer… I think that it will also work for all. I am not sure if this offer is already available on the app but if it is then you need to make sure that it is highlighted better like Big Basket would do put up an add on membership and monthly savings.
Hoping for your support in making this a one stop store for all groceries.

The foundation is weak

Tata has built an application that tries to give you everything under one roof. Most of the categories are fulfilled by businesses that are owned by Tata. Rest of the categories are in collaboration with other market players. I won't go into details and only try to judge it from a consumer standpoint.
Take the case of Croma. It is the last website that I would go to if I want to purchase any electronics.
There are 2 reasons. 1) the website is total crap. There is no way to distinguish between an in-stock and out of stock item. You open a random item and a popup would appear saying the item is not in stock. It will present other options as recommendations. Most of the time when I select any item from the recommendations, that item is also out of stock. It's a game that you can keep on playing for hours.
2) Now, you will see several electronic deals in the Tata Neu app but when you tap on any of the item, it's out of stock.
This is what I was referring to. The foundation on which the Tata Neu app relies is not fully functional.
Please fix these issues as soon as possible because they reflect on the overall user experience.

I’ll give you an opportunity on TATA’s name before I uninstall it.
Also, I don’t understand the ideology behind the price difference for the products listed online and in-store. You get the option to place an order online and pickup from the store. Fair enough. But when you visit the store to buy the same product at the same online price, the salesperson starts explaining different theories, and this-that. Why don’t offer the same price in-store as well?

Highly unsatisfactory

Hi Neu team,
Just to introduce myself, I consider myself a fan of Tata’s . It’s a great initiative to bring all Tata companies on one platform, but I feel, you have done it without any homework. Every time I use Tata neu app from my mobile, I feel frustrated and unsatisfied.
Bigbasket and IHCL I have tried. Renewal of my Taj membership was a big hassle, then everyday placing grocery order is also troublesome through this App.
Sorry to write but we don’t expect this quality of App from the Tata’s , who themselves owns so many big IT companies.
Looking forward to experience a fast and beautiful App in the near future.

Tata Maze rather than Neu

The idea is in good favour but you have such a bad UX design that you really need to reconsider. It is practically impossible for me to simply order one item I have to look and see what I am ordering where I am ordering and when I go back I’m not able to even find my card and its item. Simple tasks such as adding address is not possible the screen is hung up in five minutes and it’s not moving forward. When I go back to the main screen from ordering supposed from big basket I’m not even able to go back to see where my item is, the only way I could find is to go back and find the card that took me to the discounted price which is highly impossible for any user to remember. There should be a common cart place where I am putting my stuff and I can see and axis and Bill at the same time it should be that easy if I am ordering if I am putting things in a cart I should be able to see it very very clearly. I hope the Tata Neu is not a puzzle to be solved because it clearly looks like one.

Good thought behind the app but it needs work.

A very great initiative to inculcate all the needs to a single app other than having 100s of different apps for the same. But the app really needs some work. Its very very slow. As a customer i would like to get done with my purchases in 1-2 mins if i know what I’m supposed to buy but the page actually takes 2-3 mins to load and by that time my fingers already move on to another app. The app is lagging alot too. Also the brands are not specified when i search some product at once. You’ve to click on the picture to even see which brand it belongs to. Y’all may wanna have a look at that. I’m sure i’ll be using it a lot of it in the future. For now y’all have too much on your hand to improve.

App does not loads

Now after seeing several comments with this same not loading issue, i had to give this rating and comment. The concept is amazing however the UI is not smooth at all. If we click on one section, either it keeps on loading and will never open or will take several minutes to open.
Which is simply unexpected from TATA and that too at this fast age and time.
I genuinely want to use this app as primary hence not uninstalling it right away. Will wait for few days and if this is not resolved, then no matter how much i love TATA, i will have to remove this.
Please get this technical thing sorted for the success of this outstanding concept.
Hoping for the change soon.

Silly Catch 22 situation concerning my DOB

My pre-existing profile in Tata Neu shows my DOB in the style: dd/mm/yy. When I edited the profile to remove the middle initial in my name and then tried to save the changes, the system did not do so and asked me to change the date style to: yyyy-mm-dd. However, there is no keyboard option to edit the date style and I had to use the drop down calendar associated. When I picked the year month and date of my date of birth and then tried to save the changes, the system did not accept the entered changes but instead once again asked that the date style be made in the format: yyyy-mm-dd. I tried this several times but each time it only took me back and forth, without effecting any change.A classic Catch 22 situation! 😳 Please have this software modified suitably. Need to get polished..

Umm tbh the app is really gd.. like all of our needs can be fulfilled in one place.. such as bigbasket for groceries, 1mg for medicine, westside for fashion, Croma for electronics, vistara & airasia for airlines nd also many more.. but the layout nd the interface can be done more polished nd better.. like it’s really little off while navigating nd also it’s lagging nd taking a lot of time for loading each page.. umm the amount of stuffs putted in the app is great but make the app more smooth.. easy to navigate nd like much more little up to dated like the interface is little backdated or can say a bit boring..
Wish Tata is a big corporation.. they will definitely fixed this.. nd wish we will get a way more polished version of this app with modern interface nd also upto dated smooth app..

Great aggregator app for TATA products

This is indeed a great app with all the TATA group products bundled in . What seems to be missing is a single integrated customer identity number for all the different individual apps like Cliq , Big basket , Vistara , 1mg ,Taj inner circle ,etc. which should get auto migrated to the Neu app using the mob no in which the other apps are registered . All the points lying in all the above various apps should get converted to Neu points and migrated to the Neu app .
Another query is : will payments done for utilities , telecom , payment of CC bills thru the Neu app will get thr neu points ?
Looks like the app is still in a WIP mode and a lot of cross app integration needs to be done . Thank you
